Abstract

MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA ADQUIRIR DADOS DE ELEVAçãO PARA UMA áREA . A presente invenção é dirigida a um método para adquirir dados de elevação para uma área. O método inclui utilizar um receptor GPS para mapear elevações de terreno enquanto conduzindo em vai e vem sobre uma área e periodicamente registrando a posição, elevação e tempo. A seguir, pelo menos um trilha é realizada transversalmente às trilhas paralelas para que a trilha transversal intersecte as trilhas paralelas. Os dados obtidos são processados e dados de elevação da trilha transversal são usados para ajustar os dados de elevação para as trilhas paralelas, compensando a deriva de elevação em medições registradas pelo receptor GPS. Os dados ajustados para a inteira área são processados usando o método da presente invenção para obter um mapa de elevação para a área.
