The invention relates to a single-part or multi-part cuboid packaging container for tape-type recording media which are stacked one above the other and are wound onto cores provided with inner bores (3). The packaging container consists of a bottom part (1), a top part (2) and side parts (19) which are connected to one another via moulded-on film hinges (25), a core support (11) being insertable through the inner bores of the winding cores (13). <IMAGE>
