Abstract

Linear transmission unit (52), with: (a) a housing (54) in which a drive motor (58) is accommodated; (b) a linearly drivable output drive rod (64) which has a hollow region (104) which partially engages over the housing (54) and is supported such that it can move axially on the external circumference of the housing (54); (c) a conversion drive (62) which is in driven connection with the motor (58) and the output drive rod (64), and which converts rotational movement into linear movement of the output drive rod (64); (d) a rotating drive body (92) which is associated with the conversion drive (62), can be driven by the motor and has a circumferential groove profile (160) and a tooth system (162) on its external circumference; (e) a plurality of axially extending circumferential bodies (166) which can rotate about their own axis and in each case have a circumferential groove profile (172) and a tooth system (174); (f) engagement of the groove profiles (172) of the rotating bodies (166) radially inwards with the groove profile (160) of the drive body (92) and radially outwards with a circumferential groove profile (164) on the inner circumference of the hollow region (104) of the output drive rod (64), together with engagement of the tooth systems (174) of the rotating bodies (166) with the tooth system (162) of the drive body (92). (g) a design of the groove profiles (150, 172, 164) of the drive body (92), the rotating bodies (166) and the output drive rod hollow region (104) such that, on rotation of these parts between the drive body (92) and the rotating bodies (166), no axial relative movement occurs and the output drive rod (64) carries out an axial relative movement with respect to the rotating bodies (166). <IMAGE>
