  • This disclosure relates to a power conversion device and a vehicle equipped with the power conversion device.
  • Power conversion devices are often used to control motors (electric motors) used in electrically powered vehicles such as hybrid vehicles and electric cars.
  • Examples of power conversion devices include AC/DC converters (Alternate Current/Direct Current Converters) that convert AC power to DC power, inverters (Inverters) that convert DC power to AC power, and DC/DC converters (Direct Current/Direct Current Converters) that change the input and output voltage levels of DC power.

Description

図1には、スイッチング素子として、パワートランジスタであるMOSFET(Metal-oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor)を用いた例を示している。
パワートランジスタとしては、MOSFET以外にIGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor)等を用いて、フリーホイールダイオードを別部品として設けてもよい。
 演算処理装置90として、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)、IC(Integrated Circuit)、DSP(Digital Signal Processor)、FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)、各種の論理回路、及び各種の信号処理回路等が備えられてもよい。
