Description

고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치
본 발명은 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치에 관한 것이다.
LCD와 OLED는 디스플레이 기술의 두 가지 주요 방식으로, 각각의 작동 원리와 특성이 다르다. LCD는 액정 분자(Liquid Crystal, LC)의 배열을 전기적으로 조절하여 외부로부터 들어오는 빛의 편광 특성을 변화시키고, 이를 통해 외부 빛의 투과 정도를 조절한다. LCD의 화면 밝기는 주로 외부 광원(Back Light)의 빛이 얼마나 잘 투과되는지에 따라 결정된다. 이는 투과형 디스플레이로 자체 발광 능력이 없다는 특징이 있다.
반면, OLED는 자체 발광 디스플레이로, 양극(Anode)과 음극(Cathode) 사이에서 전자와 정공이 발광층에서 재결합하며 형성된 엑시톤(Exciton)을 통해 빛을 방출한다. OLED는 발광 방향에 따라 Bottom Emission과 Top Emission으로 나뉜다. Bottom Emission 기술은 주로 대형 디스플레이(TV 등)에 사용되며, Top Emission 기술은 고해상도 디스플레이에 적합하다. 이러한 특성으로 인해 OLED는 화소의 크기와 밀도에 따라 기술 방식이 달라질 수 있다.
OLED 발광 효율은 세 가지 주요 구성 요소의 곱으로 정의된다. 첫 번째 요소는 전자와 정공의 재결합 효율로, 이는 에너지 밴드 설계를 통해 최적화가 가능하다. 두 번째는 내부 양자 효율(Internal Quantum Efficiency, IQE)로, 형광 발광에서는 최대 25% 효율에 그치지만, 인광 소재를 활용하면 최대 100%의 효율을 달성할 수 있다. 다만, 인광 소재의 안정적 청색 발광 구현은 아직 기술적으로 해결되지 않은 상태다. 마지막 요소는 외부 양자 효율(External Quantum Efficiency, EQE)로, 이는 OLED 내부에서 발생한 빛이 외부로 방출되는 효율을 나타낸다. 현재 기술로는 약 20%의 빛만이 외부로 방출되며, 나머지 80%는 전반사로 인해 내부에서 손실된다.
이러한 발광 효율 문제를 개선하기 위해 다양한 기술이 연구되고 있다. 대표적으로 Micro Lens Array(MLA) 기술은 돔형 렌즈 구조를 사용하여 빛의 전반사 조건을 완화시키고, 이를 통해 OLED 발광 효율을 약 1.8배 향상시킬 수 있다. 하지만 MLA 기술은 White OLED와 같은 전 파장 발광 기술에 적합하며, RGB 발광 디스플레이에는 개별 설계가 필요하다는 한계를 가진다.
또 다른 기술로는 Cavity 증폭 기술이 있다(도 1). 이 기술은 OLED 내부에 Cavity 구조를 형성하여 특정 파장의 빛을 증폭시키는 방식이다. 반투과 전극과 굴절층 두께를 조절하여 구현되며, OLED 발광 효율을 높일 수 있다. 그러나 이 기술 역시 RGB 발광체의 각 파장에 맞춘 설계를 요구하며, 공정이 복잡하다는 문제를 안고 있다.
결론적으로, OLED와 같은 발광 디스플레이 기술의 발전을 위해 발광 효율을 높이는 것은 중요한 과제다. 전반사에 의한 빛 손실 문제를 해결하고, 공정 단순화 및 안정적인 고효율 소재 개발이 이루어진다면, 디스플레이의 밝기와 수명이 모두 개선될 것으로 기대된다. 이는 OLED뿐 아니라 QD, Micro LED 등 차세대 디스플레이 기술에도 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이다.
본 발명은 전술한 종래의 디스플레이 장치에서 발광 효율이 낮은 문제를 해결할 수 있는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치를 제공하는 것에 그 목적이 있다.
상기 과제의 해결 수단으로서, 본 개시의 일 실시예에 따라, 발광 소자 층을 포함하며, 빛이 내부 양자 효율이 정의되며, 최종 외부 양자 효율(External Quantum Efficiency) 향상을 위한 개선층을 포함하는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치가 제공될 수 있다.
한편, 개선층은 나노 길이의 캐비티 공진구조를 포함할 수 있다.
한편, 개선층은 Dielectrical Bragg Reflector 효과를 갖도록 서로 다른 굴절율을 갖는 물질들을 포함할 수 있다.
나아가, 개선층은 n1 의 굴절율을 갖는 제1유전체 층, n2 의 굴절율을 갖는 제2유전체 층을 포함하며, 제1유전체 층과 제2유전체 층이 반복적층되어 구성될 수 있다.
한편, 제1유전체 층 및 제2유전체 층은 증착, 코팅(coating), 전자빔(e-beam) 중 어느 하나의 공정으로 형성될 수 있다.
한편, 개선층은 복굴절 매질로서 회전각에 따라 n1 및 n2의 굴절율을 갖는 카이랄 액정(Chiral Liquid Crystal)을 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 개선층은 회전 방향이 왼쪽 및/또는 오른쪽 회전 카이랄 액정(Chiral Liquid Crystal)을 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
나아가, 발광 소자 층은 200nm 내지 2000nm 의 범위 내의 파장을 갖는 빛을 발생시키도록 구성되는 광원을 포함할 수 있다.
한편, 발광 소자 층은 하나의 발광소자(Single Emission)를 포함하여 구성되거나, 2개 이상으로 적층되어 구성(Tandem Emission)될 수 있다.
한편, 개선층은 발광 소자 층에서 발생되는 빛의 파장에 따라 두유전 반복층의 반복 주기 피치 (Pitch) 길이가 결정될 수 있다.
또한, 개선층은 피치 길이가 같거나, 혹은,서로 다른 복수의 피치를 갖는 카이랄 액정(Chiral Liquid Crystal)들을 포함하여 구성될 수 있다.
한편, 개선층은 발광 소자의 픽셀별로 영역이 구분될 수 있도록 뱅크(bank)를 포함하거나, 또는, 유기 혹은 금속 블랙 매트릭스로 픽셀경계를 구분한, 카이랄 액정을 포함할 수 있다.

한편, 개선층은 온도에 따라 유전반복체의 피치길이와 선택 반사 및 공진되는 광의 파장이 달라지도록 구성될 수 있다.
또한, 개선층은 기하학적 패턴으로 구성될 수 있다.
한편, 발광되는 빛을 반사 공진할 수 있도록 개선층은 발광소자의 정면 및 후면 중 적어도 하나에 구비될 수 있다.
나아가, 개선층의 선택 파장 범위는 발광소자의 파장이 포함될 수 있다.
한편, 개선층은 발광소자의 파장을 선택적인 파장과 일치되어 하나 이상으로 구비될 수 있다.
한편, 카이랄 액정을 이용하는 개선층은 선택 반사파장의 범위와 중심 위치는 같으나, 원편광이 회전성은 같거나 혹은 서로 반대일 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치는 두께 굴절률 제어의 복잡한 공정과 제작 없이 단일 개선층 구조를 이용하여 Red/ Green/ Blue 광의 발광 효율을 극대화할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

이하, 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치에 대하여, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 상세히 설명한다. 그리고 이하의 실시예의 설명에서 각각의 구성요소의 명칭은 당업계에서 다른 명칭으로 호칭될 수 있다. 그러나 이들의 기능적 유사성 및 동일성이 있다면 변형된 실시예를 채용하더라도 균등한 구성으로 볼 수 있다. 또한 각각의 구성요소에 부가된 부호는 설명의 편의를 위하여 기재된다. 그러나 이들 부호가 기재된 도면상의 도시 내용이 각각의 구성요소를 도면내의 범위로 한정하지 않는다. 마찬가지로 도면상의 구성을 일부 변형한 실시예가 채용되더라도 기능적 유사성 및 동일성이 있다면 균등한 구성으로 볼 수 있다. 또한 당해 기술 분야의 일반적인 기술자 수준에 비추어 보아, 당연히 포함되어야 할 구성요소로 인정되는 경우, 이에 대하여는 설명을 생략한다.
도 2는 본 개시의 일 실시예에 따른 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치의에서 픽셀의 단면도이다.
도 2를 참조하면, 본 개시의 일 실시예에 따른 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치(1)는 픽셀에서 발광층, 봉지층(200) 그리고 개선층을 포함하여 구성될 수 있다. 발광소자는 서브픽셀로서 R/G/B의 발광소자를 포함하여 구성될 수 있다. 각각의 발광소자는 OLED, QD(Quantum dot), micro led 등 각각 미리 결정된 파장의 광을 발광할 수 있도록 구성된 소자를 뜻할 수 있다. 또한 발광층은 적어도 하나의 전극이 구비될 수 있다.
한편 도시되지는 않았으나, 본 개시에서 디스플레이 장치(1)는 종래의 디스플레이 장치에서 발광 및 제어를 수행하는 TFT 등 널리 사용되는 구성들이 적용될 수 있다. 다만, 이러한 구성은 널리 사용되는 구성이므로 더 이상의 상세한 설명은 생략하도록 한다.
봉지층(200)은 발광소자를 외부 환경으로부터 보호하고 소자의 성능과 수명을 유지할 수 있도록 구성된다.
개선층은 각각의 서브픽셀의 상측에 구비될 수 있다. 개선층은 각각 서로 다른 파장의 광을 증폭시킬 수 있도록 구성될 수 있다. 각각의 개선층은 서브픽셀의 면적에 대응한 크기로 구성될 수 있다.
개선층은 각각 서로 다른 파장의 광을 증폭시킬 수 있도록 구성될 수 있다. 일 예로서 R 발광소자(110)의 상측에는 제1개선층(410)이 구비되며, Red 파장의 광을 증폭시킬 수 있도록 구성될 수 있다. 한편, G 발광소자(120)의 상측에는 제2개선층(420)이 구비되며, Green 파장의 광을 증폭시킬 수 있도록 구성될 수 있다. 또한 B 발광소자(130)의 상측에는 제3개선층(430)이 구비되며, Blue 파장의 광을 증폭시킬 수 있도록 구성될 수 있다.
한편, 각각의 개선층(410, 420, 430)은 뱅크(bank, 300)에 의해 구분된 영역에 구비될 수 있다.
도 3은 본 개시의 일 실시예에서 개선층의 개념을 도시한 도면이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 개선층은 2개의 굴절 계수 (n1 과 n2)를 가지는 2개의 유전체 물질 규칙적인 거리 d 을 단위 Pitch 로 반복하여 형성하는 다층 유전 박막을 포함할 수 있다. 이러한 반복에 의해 개선층은 이른바 Dielectric Bragg Reflector (DBR) Resonance Cavity를 형성할 수 있다. 개선층은 완벽하게 100%의 광을 반사하지 않는다. 개선층은 70 내지 99%의 높은 반사율을 가지면서도 일부 빛을 투과시키는 반투과 특성을 가질 수 있도록 구성된다. 일 예로서, 광이 투과되는 방향, 도 3에서 상측 방향으로 약간 낮은 반사율을 갖도록 설계하면 공진 조건을 만족하는 파장에 대하여 일부가 상측으로 방출될 수 있다.
결국 개선층에 의해 일정한 파장의 광이 공진으로 증폭되어 휘도가 증가된 광을 얻을 수 있게 된다.
한편, 본 개시의 일 실시예에서 개선층은 E-Beam 증착 공정, Coating 공정, CVD 방법등을 선택적으로 적용하여 형성될 수 있다.
도 4는 본 개시의 일 실시예에서 개선층에 의해 증폭되는 파장영역을 도시한 도면이다.
도 4를 참조하면, 개선층의 제1층과 제2층의 굴절율 n1과 n2의 선택및 d 의 거리를 적절히 조절함으로써 물리적인 거울이 없는 광학 거울 구조 형성을 통해서 OLED 등의 발광 파장만을 공진 증폭할 수 있게 된다.
도 5는 본 개시의 다른 실시예에서 개선층의 개념도를 도시한 도면이다.
도 5를 참조하면, 본 개시의 다른 실시예에서 다중 굴절 유전체의 효과는 액정성 분자의 꼬임구조를 통하여 구현될 수 있다.
본 실시예에서 개선층은 다층 유전체 효과를 액정성 분자의 꼬임구조를 통하여 얻을 수 있다. 개선층은 키랄 액정(Chiral Liquid Crystal(CLC)층을
포함할 수 있다. 액정과 같은 mesogenic 분자는 한 개의 분자 구조에 n1과 n2의 2개의 굴절률 값이 있는 복굴절 특성(birefringence)을 가진다. 따라서, 복굴절의 분자의 회전 꼬임 구조(chiral structure)를 유도하면, 빛의 관점에서는 n1, n2의 굴절 유전체가 회전 주기 (pitch: p)의 ½ 주기마다 반복되는 다층의 유전체 효과가 발휘될 수 있다.
도 6은 본 개시의 다른 실시예에서 개선층의 액정성 분자의 피치를 도시한 도면이다.
도 6을 참조하면, 개선층 내의 액정성 분자는 나선 회전 구조의 길이에 따라 서로 다른 파장의 광을 반사할 수 있다.
구체적으로 복굴절 분자의 나선 회전 구조의 길이가 달라지는 경우 de Vries 조건 Δλ= Δn·p (Δλ : 선택반사되는 표현 색 파장 범위, Δn: 굴절률 차이 (n1-n2) , p: 회전 Pitch 반복 길이)을 따라 반사되는 파장이 달라질 수 있다.
한편, 개선층의 단위 두께당의 회전력 (d/p : d 는 Chiral LC 나선 구조체의 단위 두께, p : CLC 분자의 나선 회전 꼬임 반복 주기)은 온도가 증가할수록 증가한다. 따라서 온도변화를 유도하여 CLC 분자의 나선 회전 꼬임 반복 주기를 조절할 수 있고, 결국 증폭되는 광의 파장을 조절할 수 있게 된다.
도 7은 온도에 따른 카이랄 액정의 피치 변화를 도시한 그래프이다.
도 7을 참조하면, 카이랄 액정은 Smectic phase일 때 점도가 높으며 Nematic phase일 때 점도가 낮다. 온도가 상승하면 카이럴 액정은 Nematic Phase로 전이되면서 점도가 낮아지고 단위 길이당 회전력이 증가된다. 따라서 온도가 상승될 때 카이럴 액정의 피치의 길이가 짧아진다.
반대로 온도가 하강하면 카이럴 액정은 Nematic Phase에서 Smectic Phase로 상 천이되면서 나선 구조의 피치가 길어진다.
결국 카이랄 액정은 온도변화에 의한 De Vires 조건 Δλ= Δn·p (Δλ : 선택 반사되는 표현 색 파장 범위, Δn: 굴절률 차이 (n1-n2) , p: 회전 Pitch 반복 길이)의 조절이 가능하다.
도 8은 온도에 따라 카이랄 액정에서 증폭되는 광의 파장을 도시한 그래프이다.
도 8을 참조하면, 개선층이 고온에서는 단위 두께 d 의 CLC 층에서 회전 Pitch p 가 짧아지는 효과를 유도할 수 있다. 온도의 증가 방향의 변화 (ΔT)를 가하면, d/p의 회전력의 연속적인 강화현상을 통해서 CLC 액정의 회전 길이가 직접적으로 조절된다. 결국 온도가 증가될수록 개선층은 De Vries 조건의 선택반사 파장이 Blue 색의 파장측으로 조절되는 경향이 나타나게 된다.
도 9는 본 개시의 다른 실시예에서 개선층에 포함된 분자구조의 예를 도시한 도면이다.
도 9를 참조하면, 개선층은 카이랄 액정층(chiral LC)의 선택 반사층을 구성하는 물질을 광경화 (UV Curable) 형태의 사슬 형성이 가능한 분자 구조를 포함하는 물질로 생성할 수 있다. 개선층을 구성하는 물질은 일 예로서, UV에 의하여 Curing이 가능한 Acrylate 반응기를 한 개 혹은 두 개를 가지는 monoacrylate 혹은 Diacrylate 형태의 분자재료를 포함할 수 있다. 이때, 분자재료는 다양한 모든 복굴절이 구성한 결합구조 "R"을 가지며, R의 분자는 Phenyl group, Heagonal group, Methyl group, ester group, ether group 등을 포함한 기타의 모든 반응 결합구조 중 어느 하나를 포함할 수 있다.
도 10a, 10b, 10c 및 10d는 본 개시의 다른 실시예에 따른 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치에서 개선층을 형성하는 공정의 개념을 도시한 도면이다.
본 개시에 따른 디스플레이는, 서브픽셀을 생성하고, 봉지층(200)을 생성한 뒤 개선층을 형성하여 제조될 수 있다. 개선층은 R/G/B 서브픽셀에 Black Bank를 형성한 뒤에 각각의 서브 픽셀에 피치가 조절된 카이랄 액정층을 경화시켜 생성될 수 있다.
도 10a를 참조하면, 제3개선층(430)은 Blue 광을 증폭시키기 위해 짧은 피치를 갖도록, 제1온도로 조절된 상태에서 경화될 수 있다.
도 10b를 참조하면, 제2개선층(420)은 Green 광을 증폭시키기 위해 중간 피치를 갖도록, 제2온도로 조절된 상태에서 경화될 수 있다.
도 10c를 참조하면, 제1개선층(410)은 red 광을 증폭시키기 위하여 가장 긴 피치를 갖도록, 제3온도로 조절된 상태에서 경화될 수 있다.
이때 제1개선층(410)과 제2개선층(420), 그리고 제3개선층(430)을 형성하기 위한 잉크는 동일한 재질일 수 있다. 다만 각 개선층은 카이랄 액정의 피치를 조절할 수 있도록 소정 온도로 조절한 뒤 UV에 의해 경호될 수 있다. 이때 Blue 광을 증폭하는 제3개선층(430)은 가장 높은 온도로 조절된 뒤 경화될 수 있다. 다음으로 Green 광을 증폭하는 제2개선층(420)은 제3개선층(430)보다 낮은 온도로 조절된 뒤 경화될 수 있다. 마지막으로 Red광을 증폭하는 제1개선층(410)은 가장 낮은 온도로 조절된 상태에서 경화될 수 있다.
도 10d를 참조하면, 각각의 개선층 내의 카이랄 액정의 회전 꼬임 피치는 고정된 상태를 유지할 수 있게 된다. 물론 실온 또는 작동온도로 조절되었을 때 온도에 따른 피치의 변화량을 고려할 수 있는데, 미리 보상하여 카이랄 액정 피치를 결정할 수 있다.
한편, 도시되지는 않았으나, 개선층과 뱅크를 커버하는 보호층이 추가로 구비될 수 있다. 이때 보호층은 유기막으로 구성될 수 있다. 또한 보호층은 투명 Glass, 포토 아크릴 등으로 구성될 수 있다.
도 11은 포토리소그래피 공정으로 개선층을 형성하는 개념을 도시한 도면이다.
도 11을 참조하면, 본 개시에서 각 개선층은 수많은 픽셀에 각각 기하학적 패턴으로 형성될 수 있다. 개선층은 chiral LC 의 선택 반사층을 구성하는 물질을 광경화 (UV Curable) 형태의 사슬 형성이 가능한 분자구조로 조절하고 코팅하고 Blue 선택 반사를 원하는 위치 (Red Pixel 과 Green Pixel) 부분만을 노광 mask 를 통해서 노광하면 선택적인 위치에만 Blue 선택 증폭의 Curable CLC 층을 형성할 수 있다. 이후 마스크 패턴의 차단을 통해서 UV 경화가 형성되지 않은 영역은 Develop 공정을 통해서 씻겨냄으로써, 원하는 부분의 색에 해당하는 Chiral LC Cavity 를 형성할 수 있다.
또한 각각의 개선층은 UV 경화 구조 및 원하는 MASK를 이용한 UV 경화 패턴을 통해서 형성될 수 있다. 이때 온도에 따른 pitch 변화상태를 유도하여 Pitch를 조절하여 R/G/B 각각의 증폭 Chiral LC Cavity 를 형성할 수 있다.
도 12는 본 개시의 다른 실시예에서 개선층의 패턴의 변형예를 도시한 개념도이다.
도 12를 참조하면, 개선층은 한가지의 소자를 온도를 변화시켜 여러 Pitch 길이의 변화시키고 원하는 위치만을 MASK 패턴하여 Memory 고정하여 생성될 수 있다. 따라서 생성된 디스플레이 장치는 상온의 동작조건 온도로 회복시 여러 색의 Cavity chiral 구조를 한꺼번에 형성할 수 있다. 또한 제1개선층(410), 제2개선층(420) 및 제3개선층(430)이 배열되는 방향을 변화시켜 생성할 수 있으며, 서브픽셀의 크기에 따라 원하는 형태로 개선층을 형성시킬 수 있게 된다.
도 13은 본 개시의 다른 실시예에서 여러 픽셀을 도시한 평면도이다.
도 13을 참조하면, 도 10 내지 도 12를 참조하여 설명한 제조 방법에 따라 R/G/B 가 side-by-side 로 구성된 디스플레이가 제공될 수 있다. 이때 발광소자는 OLED, QD, miro LED 및 기타 여타의 모든 발광 소자일 수 있다. 본 개시에 따라 발광 소자의 외곽측(상측)에 R/G/B를 각각 증폭시킬 수 있는 Array 증폭 소자를 구성을 통해 발광휘도가 대폭 증폭된 발광 Array 화소 기반의 디스플레이 및 조명 소자가 제공될 수 있다.
이상에서 설명한 본 발명에 따른 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치는, 다음과 같은 효과를 가질 수 있다.
첫째로, White OLED 및 RGB OLED와 같은 발광 소자의 최종 발광 휘도를 결정하는 외부 양자 효율(EQE)을 향상시킬 수 있다.
둘째로 Chiral Cavity 증폭 기술을 통해 Red, Green, Blue로 구성된 모든 발광 소자의 휘도를 효과적으로 증폭킬 수 있다.
셋째로, 이러한 효과를 종합적으로 구현함으로써 QD 색변환 OLED(QD-OLED) 및 QD-Micro LED와 같은 기술에서 고품질, 고효율의 혁신적인 디스플레이 제품 개발이 가능해질 수 있다.

Claims (20)

  1. 발광 소자 층을 포함하며,
    빛의 내부 양자 효율이 정의되며, 최종 외부 양자 효율(External Quantum Efficiency) 향상을 위한 개선층을 포함하는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 개선층은 나노 길이의 캐비티 공진구조를 포함하는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 개선층은 Dielectrical Bragg Reflector 효과를 갖도록 서로 다른 굴절율을 갖는 물질들을 포함하는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 개선층은,
    n1 의 굴절율을 갖는 제1유전체 층;
    n2 의 굴절율을 갖는 제2유전체 층을 포함하며,
    상기 제1유전체 층과 상기 제2유전체 층이 반복적층되어 구성되는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
  5. 제4항에 있어서,
    상기 제1유전체 층 및 상기 제2유전체 층은 증착, 코팅(coating), 전자빔(e-beam) 중 어느 하나의 공정으로 형성되는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서,
    상기 개선층은 복굴절 매질로서 회전각에 따라 n1 및 n2의 굴절율을 갖는 카이랄 액정(Chiral Liquid Crystal)을 포함하는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
  7. 제6항에 있어서,
    상기 개선층은,
    회전 방향이 왼쪽 및/또는 오른쪽 회전 상기 카이랄 액정(Chiral Liquid Crystal)을 포함하여 구성되는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
  8. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 발광 소자 층은,
    200nm 내지 2000nm 의 범위 내의 파장을 갖는 빛을 발생시키도록 구성되는 광원을 포함하는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
  9. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 발광 소자 층은 하나의 발광소자(Single Emission)를 포함하여 구성되거나, 2개 이상으로 적층되어 구성(Tandem Emission)되는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
  10. 제2항에 있어서,
    상기 개선층은 상기 발광 소자 층에서 발생되는 상기 빛의 파장에 따라 두유전 반복층의 반복 주기 피치 (Pitch) 길이가 결정되는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
  11. 제10항에 있어서,
    상기 개선층은 피치 길이가 같거나, 혹은,서로 다른 복수의 피치를 갖는 카이랄 액정(Chiral Liquid Crystal)들을 포함하여 구성되는 고효율 발광 디스플레이 장치.
