Description

伸縮性デバイス
 本開示は、伸縮性デバイスに関する。
 従前より、伸縮性を有する基材と伸縮性配線を備えた伸縮性デバイスが知られている。この伸縮性デバイスでは、伸縮性配線と電気的に接続可能な電子部品が実装される場合がある。
特許第6930681号公報
 伸縮性デバイスでは、伸縮性基材上に伸縮性配線が設けられ、伸縮性配線上に電子部品が実装した構成がとられ得る。係る構成において、電子部品と接続されている伸縮性配線以外の部分を、例えば伸縮性基材で伸縮性配線を被覆する等の構造がとられ得る場合がある。この場合、伸縮性配線と伸縮性基材が重なる部分の厚みと重ならない部分の厚みとの差が大きくなり、伸縮性デバイスは凹部を有する形状になる。つまり、相対的に厚みが薄い凹部に電子部品が配置されることとなる。
 上記の凹部分では、伸縮性デバイスの凹部分以外の部分と比べて、厚みが薄くなるため、伸縮耐性が低くなる虞がある。そのため、伸縮性デバイスの伸張時に、伸縮性基材が被覆していない伸縮性配線に対して応力が加わると、伸縮性デバイスの凹部分の伸縮耐性が低いことに起因して、同伸縮性配線に応力が集中する虞がある。かかる応力集中により伸縮性配線の破断が起こり、電気的接続を好適に実施できない虞がある。
 本開示は、かかる課題に鑑みてなされたものである。即ち、本開示の目的は、伸縮性デバイスの変形に起因する伸縮性配線への応力抑制が可能な伸縮性デバイスを提供することを目的とする。
 上記目的を達成するために、本開示の一実施形態では、
 伸縮性基材と、
 前記伸縮性基材上に実装された電子部品と、
 少なくとも前記伸縮性基材内に設けられた伸縮性配線を複数備え、
 前記伸縮性基材は、厚み方向から見て伸縮性配線と重なる第1領域と、前記伸縮性配線と重ならず、前記電子部品と重なる第2領域とを有し、及び前記伸縮性配線の配置箇所における断面視にて、前記第2領域の厚さが前記第1領域の厚さよりも大きく、
 前記複数の伸縮性配線のうち少なくとも1つは、前記伸縮性配線の伸縮方向である第1方向に延在する第1部分と、前記第1部分に連続しかつ前記電子部品に電気的に接続可能に前記第1方向とは異なる第2方向に延在する第2部分を有する、伸縮性デバイスが提供される。
 本開示の、一実施形態にかかる伸縮性デバイスによれば、伸縮性デバイスの変形に起因する伸縮性配線への応力抑制が可能である。

 以下、本開示の実施形態について、図面を用いて詳細に説明する。各々の実施形態では、その実施形態以前に説明した点と異なる点について主に説明する。特に、同様の構成による同様の作用効果については、実施形態ごとには逐次言及しない。以下の実施形態における構成要素のうち、独立請求項に記載されていない構成要素については、任意の構成として説明される。また、図面に示される構成要素の大きさ及び大きさの比は、必ずしも厳密ではない。また、各図において、実質的に同一の構成に対しては同一の符号を付しており、重複する説明は省略又は簡略化する場合がある。
 本明細書における「伸縮方向」とは、伸縮性デバイスの使用時の短絡をより確実に防止する観点から、上記の伸縮性基材及び伸縮性配線の延伸方向は、伸縮性デバイスの長手方向であることが好ましいが、1方向に延伸しなくてもよい。
 また、本明細書における「面一」とは、2つの面の間に段差や凹凸がなく平坦である場合だけでなく、+/-1%の公差を含み得る。即ち、「面一」とは、完全に2つの面同士が平らではなく、多少の段差が許容される。更に「非段差形態」とは、伸縮性デバイスの主面が段状の高低差、つまり段差を有していない形態を指し、例えば平坦状又は凹凸のない形態であり得る。
 本明細書における「伸縮性配線」とは、伸縮性基材内又は基材間の導通を確保するためのビア導体等の導電構造を含むものである。この伸縮性配線とビア導体とを総括して、「導電部」とも称し得る。
[第1実施形態]
 図1A及び図1B、図1Cを参照しながら、第1実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイスの構造について説明する。図1Aは、本開示の伸縮性デバイス100(電子部品実装前)を模式的に示す上面図である。図1Bは、図1Aの伸縮性デバイスのIB-IB断面における断面図である。図1Cは、図1Bの変形例を模式的に示す断面図である。図2A及び図2Bは、図1A及び図1Bの伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1上に電子部品70を実装した、本開示の第1実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100(電子部品実装状態)の上面図及び断面図である。なお、本明細書中の断面図は、伸縮性基材の厚み方向における断面に基づく図である。実際の比較の際も、ある1方向に延伸している伸縮性配線の任意の位置における上記の断面図によって確認できる。
 まず、本開示の第1実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイスの基本的構成要素について説明する。
 本開示の第1実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100は、伸縮性基材10と伸縮性基材10上に実装された電子部品70と、複数の伸縮性配線20を備える。上記複数の伸縮性配線20は、少なくとも伸縮性基材10内に設けられている。
 上記伸縮性デバイスの第1主面1(上面に相当)は、図1A及び図1Bに示すように電子部品70が実装される実装面であり得る。すなわち、この伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1上に電子部品70が実装され得る(図2Aおよび図2B参照)。
 以下、上記の伸縮性デバイス100の基本的構成要素と伸縮性デバイス100に実装され得る電子部品70について具体的に説明する。
(伸縮性基材10)
 伸縮性基材10は、シート状あるいはフィルム状の伸縮可能な基材であり、例えば、伸縮性を有する樹脂材料から構成される。伸縮性基材10の樹脂材料としては、特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、熱可塑性ポリウレタン(TPU)、ポリエチレン(PE)、ポリスチレン(PS)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)等が挙げられる。
(伸縮性配線20)
 伸縮性配線20は、導電性粒子と樹脂とを含んでいる。伸縮性配線20としては、特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、導電性粒子としてのAg(銀)、Cu(銅)、Ni(ニッケル)等の金属粉と、シリコーン樹脂等のエラストマー系樹脂とから成る混合物が挙げられる。導電性粒子の平均粒径は、特に限定されるものではないが、0.01μm以上10μm以下であることが好ましい。また、導電性粒子の形態は球形であることが好ましいが、伸縮性をよくするための扁平粉や突起を有する構造でも良い。
 伸縮性配線20の厚さは特に限定されないが、100μm以下であることが好ましく、50μm以下であることがより好ましい。また、伸縮性配線20の厚さは、伸縮性耐性の0.01μm以上であることが好ましい。伸縮性配線20の線幅は、特に限定されないが、0.1μm以上であることが好ましく、10mm以下であることがより好ましい。
(電子部品70)
 電子部品70は、伸縮性デバイス100の用途に応じて用いられる種々の電子部品であることができる。あくまでも例示に過ぎないが、電子部品70は、LED、サーミスタ、照度センサ、カラーセンサ、電界効果トランジスタ(FET)、オペアンプ、コンデンサ、圧電スピーカ、歪ゲージ等であってよい。例えば、電子部品70は、取得される信号の種類に応じたセンサを備えるように構成されていてよい。
(第1実施形態の特徴部分)
 上記の伸縮性デバイス100の主たる構成要素の内容をふまえ、以下で第1実施形態の特徴部分について説明する。
 まず、図1A~図2Bに示すように、第1実施形態では、複数の伸縮性配線20のうち少なくとも1つは、第1部分21と第1部分に連続する第2部分23とを有する。なお、第1部分21と第2部分22は同一の部材で構成されていることが好ましいが、異なる部材であってもよい。
 具体的には、断面視で、伸縮性配線20の第1部分21の長手部分は、伸縮性デバイス100の主面の延在方向(又は幅方向)である第1方向に沿って延在する。また、第2部分23は、その一端が伸縮性配線20の第1部分21の一端と連続しており、かつ第1方向とは異なる第2方向(例えば、厚み方向)に延在して、電子部品70に接触可能になっている。このとき、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の端面24が電子部品70と電気的に接続可能となっている。
 かかる構成を採るが故、伸縮性配線20は全体として屈曲または湾曲形態等を有することができる。なお、図1Bでは、伸縮性配線20の第1部分21の延在方向と伸縮性デバイス100の長手方向は一致しているが、必ずしも一致していなくてよい。更に、図1Bに図示した例示的な第1実施形態(電子部品実装前)において、第1主面1は伸縮性基材10の厚み方向にて上側に位置付けられているが、これに限定されるものではなく、下側にあってもよい。具体的には、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23が第1主面1と対向する第2主面3に延在し、第2主面3に第2部分23の端面24が位置付けられてもよい。
 伸縮性基材10は、厚み方向から見て伸縮性配線20と重なり、伸縮性配線20の第1部分21の直下に位置する第1領域(図1Bの11に相当)と、伸縮性配線20と重ならず、電子部品70と重なる第2領域(図1Bの12に相当)とを有している。また、伸縮性配線20の配置箇所における断面視にて、第2領域12の厚さが第1領域11の厚さよりも大きい。具体的には、上記第2領域12の厚みhと第1領域11の厚みhx2の関係は、h>hx2である点に特徴がある。
 更に伸縮性基材10は、伸縮性配線20の第1部分21の直上に位置する第3領域(図1Bの13に相当)を有していてよい。この時の第3領域の厚みをhx1とすると、h>hx1+hx2であることが好ましく、例えば、h=(hx1+hx2+伸縮性配線20の第1部分21の厚みT)の関係にもなり得る。
 即ち、第2領域12の範囲は、伸縮性基材10の第2主面3から伸縮性配線20の第1部分21よりも上側であり、伸縮性配線20の第1部分21と同一線上もしくは、下側には位置しない。換言すると、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23と伸縮性基材10の第2領域12とが接する。
 この点につき、伸縮性基材10の厚み方向にて、伸縮性基材10の電子部品70と重なる第2領域12の厚さが、伸縮性配線20と重なる第1領域11の厚さと同じまたは小さい場合、本願の技術的課題欄で述べたように、伸縮性デバイス100(具体的には、本実施形態では伸縮性基材10)に、電子部品70を配置可能な相対的に厚みが薄い凹部が形成され得る。この場合、伸縮性デバイス100の凹部分の伸縮耐性が低いことにより、伸縮性配線20に応力が集中し、伸縮性配線20の破断が生じる虞がある。
 これに対して、本開示では、伸縮性基材10の厚み方向にて、伸縮性基材10の電子部品70と重なる第2領域12の厚さhが、伸縮性配線20と重なる第1領域11の厚さhx2よりも大きい。そのため、電子部品70の直下に位置する伸縮性基材10の第2領域12において、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の側面(側面26に対向する面に相当)と伸縮性基材10との接触面積が確保されやすくなる。その結果として、伸縮性基材10の電子部品70と重なる第2領域12と、伸縮性配線20と重なる第1領域11との厚みの違いを小さくすることができる。これにより、電子部品70を配置可能な部分を相対的に厚みの大きい構成とすることができ、凹部を形成しなくなる。
 以上のことからも、従前のように、伸縮性デバイス100のうち、相対的に厚みが薄い凹部に電子部品70が配置して伸縮性配線20と電気的に接続させる場合と比べて、伸縮性デバイス100の伸縮耐性、具体的には伸縮性基材10の伸縮耐性を保持可能となる。
 これにより、伸縮性デバイス100の主面の延在方向に沿った伸張時に、同伸縮性デバイス100にかかる応力を均一に分散させることができる。その結果、伸縮性配線20への応力集中を緩和することができ、伸縮性配線20の断線等の物理的な破損の発生を抑制し、伸縮性デバイス100の耐久性を高めることが可能となる。
 伸縮性デバイス100の主面の延在方向に沿った伸張時における伸縮性配線20への応力集中の緩和により、伸縮性配線20によって送達される信号の誤差が低減され得る。この点において、高精度の伸縮性デバイス100が供され得る。
 また、従前のように伸縮性デバイスの凹部に電子部品を配置しないが故、その凹部分の空間サイズ分、従前と比べて本開示に係る伸縮性デバイス100の伸縮性基材10のサイズを好適に確保することができる。これにより同じ応力が伸縮性デバイス100に生じた際に、従前と比べて伸縮性基材10にかかる応力を相対的に小さくすることができ、伸縮性デバイス100延伸の際に耐え得る最大応力も大きくなり得る。従って、伸縮強度や耐久性の高い伸縮性デバイス100を得ることにも寄与し得る。
 なお、係る第2領域12の厚みと、第1領域11及び第3領域13の厚みと伸縮性配線20の厚みの和(即ち、hx1+hx2+伸縮性配線20の厚みT)の差がより小さい構造の場合、伸縮性デバイス100の一方の第1主面1(上側主面に相当)とこれに対向する他方の第2主面3(下側主面に相当)との間の厚みを、全体として略同一にすることが可能となる。
 特に、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の端面24が、伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1に位置付けられることが好ましい(図1C)。換言すると、電子部品70と電気的に接続可能な伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の端面24が位置付けられる伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1が非段差形態をとり得る場合もある。具体的には、図1Cに示す第1実施形態の変形例では、伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1(上面に相当)では、伸縮性基材10の第1主面1と伸縮性配線20の第2部分23が面一であり得、伸縮性基材10の第1主面1に段差がなく同じ平面上にあり得る。これにより、伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1に位置する伸縮性配線20の第2部分23に対するはんだ等を介した電子部品70の実装性を向上させることができる。
 ここでいう「伸縮性デバイス100の一方の第1主面1とこれに対向する他方の第2主面3との間の厚みの略同一」について、具体的に説明する。伸縮性デバイス100のうち、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23が位置する部分における全厚H1と、伸縮性配線20が存しない伸縮性基材10のみが存在する部分における全厚H2と、伸縮性配線20の第1部分21のみが位置する部分における全厚H3とが略同一になり得る(図1C参照)。より具体的には、上記の全厚H1~H3のそれぞれにつき、各全厚は0.1mm以上0.2mm以下、又は0.12mm以上0.15m以下であってよく、例えば0.12mmであり得る 。
 また上記の「略同一」とは、少なくとも1つの伸縮性配線20の端面24が電子部品70と接する一方、伸縮性配線20と隣接し、電子部品70の直下に位置する伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1(例えば伸縮性基材の主面)が電子部品70と直接は接しない形態を指す。具体的には、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の側面(側面26と対向する面に相当)と伸縮性基材10の第2領域12とが接触可能な程度を包含する。
 更に「全厚が略同一」とは、厚みの違いが0.02mm以下であることを指し、好ましくは0.01mm以下であり、より好ましくは伸縮性デバイス100の一方の第1主面1と、これに対向する他方の第2主面3との間にて厚みが完全同一であることを指す。即ち、上記の第1主面1が完全に平坦、面一でなく、上記の範囲の差である場合は、全厚が略同一であると言及できる範疇にある。
 なお、第2部分の端面24は10μm以上約30μm以下の径を有してよく、特に、15μmであることが好ましい。また、伸縮性配線20の第2部分の端面24は、伸縮性基材10の最上面に位置する、または最上面よりも上側に位置できる。すなわち、伸縮性基材10の第1主面1の方が、伸縮性配線20の端面24よりも下の位置にあり得る。なお、「最上面」とは、伸縮性基材10の第1主面1側の最も上の面を指しているが、これらの方向は、伸縮性デバイス100の使用時における上下と必ずしも一致していなくてもよい。
 更にこのような構造において、既述のように伸縮性配線20は全体として屈曲又は湾曲形態等を有する形態であるため、伸縮性配線20のうち厚み方向に延在する部分における第2部分23の厚みTが、伸縮性配線20のうち第1部分21の幅に相当する部分における厚みTよりも大きい(図2B参照)。厚みTを有するため、伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1に第2部分の端面24が位置することができ、その結果上述の全厚H1がH2及びH3と同等の厚みになり得る。
 図2A及び2Bに示すように、電子部品70は、伸縮性配線20と電子部品70とが電気的に接続可能に配置され得る。図示されていないものの、電子部品70は、はんだ及び/又は導電性接着剤等によって伸縮性配線20に接続されていてよい。代替的には、電子部品70は、伸縮性配線20に直に接続されていてもよい。なお、電子部品70は伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1上に実装されていてもよい。
 電子部品70が第1主面1に実装される際、断面視において、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の側面26(即ち、第2部分23の端面24に連続し、伸縮性基材10の厚み方向に延在する側面)と電子部品70の側面とが面一になり得る。この場合、第2部分23の側面26は、電子部品70の側面よりも外側に位置しない。
 別の観点からいえば、電子部品70を伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の端面24と接続する場合、伸縮性デバイス100の側面2と電子部品70とが非対向である。即ち、伸縮性デバイス100の側面2と電子部品70の側面とが離隔しており、非接触である。
 かかる構成によれば、上述のように伸縮に伴う伸縮性配線20にかかる応力が軽減されるため、電子部品70と伸縮性配線20とを接続する、はんだ及び/又は導電性接着剤等の接続面にかかる応力も軽減される。したがって、伸縮性配線20とはんだ及び/又は導電性接着剤等が剥離又は分裂等し、電子部品70が外れる又は落下する等の不具合の可能性を軽減し得る。
 以下、第1実施形態(基本実施形態に相当)に係る伸縮性デバイス100の作製方法について説明する。
 まず、伸縮性基材10を準備し、伸縮性基材10に対してレーザー加工等で伸縮性基材10の厚み方向に延在する貫通孔4を形成する。その後、形成した貫通孔4に伸縮性配線20の元になる導体ペーストを充填し、伸縮性配線の第2部分23を形成する(図7A~図7C参照)。この第2部分23については、伸縮性基材10の厚み方向に延在するように形成する。
 また、別の伸縮性基材10の準備後、スクリーン印刷にて伸縮性基材10の主面上に伸縮性基材10の主面の延在方向に沿って延在する伸縮性配線20の第1部分21を形成する(図7D及び図7E参照)。
 その後、第1部分21を有する伸縮性基材10を下側に、第2部分23を有する別の伸縮性基材10を上側に位置付け、かつ第1部分21の一端と第2部分23の一端とが相互に連続するように、両伸縮性基材を重ね合わせる。以上により、図1A及び図1Bに示す伸縮性デバイス100を作製することができる(図7F参照)。その後、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の端面24と電子部品70とが電気的に接続可能になるように、伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1上に、本実施形態では伸縮性基材10の第1主面1と伸縮性デバイス100の伸縮性配線20の端面とを跨るように、電子部品70を更に配置する。
 得られた伸縮性デバイス100については、伸縮性配線20の配置箇所における断面視にて、第2領域12の厚さhが第1領域11の厚さhx2よりも大きい形状を有する。具体的には、第1実施形態では、伸縮性デバイス100の一方の第1主面1(上側主面に相当)とこれに対向する他方の第2主面3(下側主面に相当)との間の厚みを全体として略同一にすることが可能となる。
 そのため、従前のように、伸縮デバイスの凹部に電子部品を配置しないが故、この凹部分において伸縮性配線を電子部品と電気的に接続させる場合と比べて、伸縮性デバイス100の伸縮耐性、具体的には伸縮性基材10の伸縮耐性を保持可能となる。
 これにより、伸縮性デバイス100の主面の延在方向に沿った伸張時に、同伸縮性デバイス100にかかる応力を均一に分散させることができる。その結果、伸縮性配線20への応力集中を緩和することができ、伸縮性配線20の断線等の物理的な破損の発生を抑制し、伸縮性デバイス100の耐久性を高めることが可能となる。
[第2実施形態]
 以下、図3A及び3Bを参照しながら、第2実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100(電子部品実装状態)の構成について説明する。第2実施形態は、第1実施形態と比べて、伸縮性基材10を被覆する伸縮性基材カバー部材30を備える点で相違している。図3Aは、本開示の第2実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100を模式的に示す上面図である。図3Bは、図3Aの伸縮性デバイスのIIIB-IIIB断面における断面図である。
 また、第2実施形態の伸縮性デバイス100を作製する場合、上側の伸縮性基材10に代替して、伸縮性基材カバー部材30を準備し、伸縮性基材カバー部材30をレーザー加工等で伸縮性基材10の厚み方向に延在する貫通孔4を形成する工程を含む点が第1実施形態の作製方法と比較して異なる。本方法で作製することで、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を被覆する伸縮性基材カバー部材30を更に備える第2実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100を作製することができる。
 本開示の第2実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100は、電子部品70、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を複数備え、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を被覆する伸縮性基材カバー部材30を更に備える。なお、第2部分の端面24と伸縮性基材カバー部材30の主面とが面一であってもよい。以下に、構成要素について具体的に説明する。
(伸縮性基材カバー部材30)
 伸縮性基材カバー部材30は、伸縮性基材10と同様のシート状あるいはフィルム状の伸縮可能な基材であり、例えば、伸縮性を有する樹脂材料から構成される。伸縮性基材カバー部材30の材料として特に限定するわけではないが、例えば、スチレン系樹脂、オレフィン系樹脂、塩ビ系樹脂、ウレタン系樹脂、エステル系樹脂、アミド系樹脂等の樹脂材料が挙げられる。また、ペースト又はインク状の材料を塗布、又は印刷することで形成してもよいし、フィルム状又はシート状の材料を熱圧着することで形成してもよい。例えば、伸縮性基材カバー部材30の厚みは、特に限定されないが、20μm以上であることが好ましく、40μm以上であることがより好ましい。
 伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20は、伸縮性基材カバー部材30によって覆われていてよい。なお、伸縮性基材カバー部材30は、伸縮性配線20の第1部分21の全体が露出しないように被覆されていればよい。例えば、伸縮性基材カバー部材30は、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20の外側表面を覆っていてよい。即ち、電子部品70の直下かつ、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の側面(側面26に対向する側面)に接するように、伸縮性基材10の第2領域12を伸縮性基材カバー部材30が覆ってもよい。
 また、伸縮性基材カバー部材30は、電子部品70の用途に応じて材料を選択してよい。例えば、伸縮性基材10よりも高いガラス転移点を有するような耐熱性材料を選択することで、伸縮性デバイス100の耐熱性を向上することができる。従って、例えば、放熱及び発熱性の電子部品70を実装するとき、熱から伸縮性基材10を保護することが可能となる。
 更に、伸縮性基材カバー部材30は、伸縮性基材10にケミカルアタックを与え得る薬液(例えば、強酸、強アルカリ、アセトン等)にも耐え得る材料であることが好ましく、又は湿度によって変形し得る伸縮性基材10を保護するような材料であることが好ましい。つまり、伸縮性基材10よりも低い薬剤反応性材料、又は水蒸気透過率の材料を選択することで、伸縮性デバイス100の耐水性及び耐薬品性を向上することができ得る。
 図3A及び図3Bに示すように、伸縮性配線20の第2部分の端面24と電子部品70は、はんだ及び/又は導電性接着剤等によって接続されていてよい。また、伸縮性基材カバー部材30と伸縮性配線20とは熱接合や接着剤で接着してよい。
 第1実施形態で既述のように、熱をかけてはんだ付け及び/又は導電性接着剤等を用いて伸縮性配線20と電子部品70とを接続するが、その熱又は導電性接着剤等の薬液が伸縮性基材10に熱的又は化学的負荷を与え得る。そこで、例えば耐熱性を有する伸縮性基材カバー部材30が伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を被覆することで、その熱負荷を軽減することが可能になり得る。
 伸縮性基材カバー部材30も熱接合等で伸縮性基材10と接着させるが、熱接合時の温度は、はんだ付けの温度よりも小さいため、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20にかかる熱量が小さくなる。例えば、耐熱性の伸縮性基材カバー部材30を熱接合で接着して伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を覆った後、はんだで電子部品70と伸縮性配線20とを接続するとき、伸縮性配線20及び伸縮性基材10には熱が直接かからず、熱負荷を小さくできる。それ故、伸縮性基材10に与える熱のダメージを軽減し、それに伴い伸縮性基材10の信頼性を上げることができる。
[第3実施形態]
 以下、図4A及び図4Bを参照しながら、第3実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)の構成について説明する。第1形態と比べて、第3実施形態は伸縮性配線20の第1部分の一部22が露出している点で異なる。図4Aは、本開示の第3実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイスを模式的に示す上面図である。図4Bは、図4Aの伸縮性デバイスのIVB-IVB断面における断面図である。
 また、第3実施形態の伸縮性デバイスを作製する場合、上側に重ね合せられた伸縮性基材10を切削工具、レーザー等で切り出し、第1部分の一部22を露出する工程を含む点が、第1実施形態と比較して異なる。本方法で作製することで、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を複数備え、伸縮性配線20の第1部分の一部22が露出している第3実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100を作製することができる。
 本開示の第3実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100は、電子部品70、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を複数備え、伸縮性配線20の第1部分の一部22が露出している。
 伸縮性基材10の伸縮方向において一部切り出し、伸縮性配線20の第1部分の一部22が露出していてよく、第1部分の一部22が露出している部分が電極25として用いられてよい。したがって、第1部分の一部22(即ち電極25)が別の伸縮性配線や電子部品と接続されることで電気的に接続が可能となり、回路全体の電気信号を送ることができる。なお、伸縮性配線20の第1部分の一部22は別の伸縮性配線や電子部品と接続するために用いられるために、その幅は約0.1mm以上1μm以下であってよい。
 第3実施形態において、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20は、第2実施形態と同様に伸縮性基材カバー部材30によって覆われていてよい。
[第4実施形態]
 以下、図5A及び図5Bを参照しながら、第4実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)の構成について説明する。第1実施形態と比べて、第4実施形態は遮光性シート等を用いる点で異なる。図5Aは、本開示の第4実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイスを模式的に示す上面図である。図5Bは、図5Aの伸縮性デバイスのVB-VB断面における断面図である。
 また、第4実施形態の伸縮性デバイスを作製する場合、上側の伸縮性基材10に代替して、遮光性シート40を準備し、これらをレーザー加工等で貫通孔4を形成する工程を含む点が第1実施形態の作製方法と比較して異なる。本方法で作製することで、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を被覆する遮光性シート40(又は断熱性シート等)を更に備える第4実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100を作製することができる。
 本開示の第4実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100は、電子部品70、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を複数備え、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を被覆する遮光性シート40を更に備える。以下に、構成要素について具体的に説明する。
(遮光性シート40)
 遮光性シート40は、伸縮性基材10と同様のシート状あるいはフィルム状の伸縮可能な基材であり、例えば、伸縮性を有する材料から構成される。遮光性シート40としては、伸縮性基材10よりも低い光透過率を有する材料であり、例えばポリオレフィン系、ポリエステル系、塩化ビニール系等の樹脂材料が挙げられる。
 代替的に、遮光性シートは断熱性シート及びカラーシートであってよい。つまり、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を被覆する断熱性シート又はカラーシートを更に備えてもよい。断熱性シートの材料としては、伸縮性基材10よりも高い断熱性を有する材料であり、特に限定するわけではないが、例えば熱反射率の高いアルミ系、又は熱伝導性の低いウレタン系、フェノール系及びポリスチレン系の材料が挙げられる。またカラーシートは、伸縮性基材10や伸縮性配線20とは異なる色を呈している材料であれば特に制限はない。一方、電子部品70を接合する際の熱や薬液に耐性がある材料である必要があり、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20と同等以上の耐性を有することが求められる。上記シート等はペースト又はインク状の材料を塗布、又は印刷することで形成してもよいし、フィルム又はシート状の材料を熱圧着することで形成してもよい。
 遮光性シート40等の厚みは、特に限定されないが、10μm以上40μm以上であってよく、透過性及び耐久性、又は耐熱性等の観点から20μm以下であることが好ましい。
 伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20は、遮光性シート40等によって覆われていてよく、また第3実施形態のように伸縮性配線20の第1部分の一部22が露出していてよい。なお、伸縮性基材カバー部材30で被覆するとき同様、遮光性シート40等と第2部分の端面24と、又は伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1とは面一であってもよい。換言すると、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の端面24が位置付けられる伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1が非段差形態であり得る。
 別の観点から言うと、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20は、遮光性シート40等によって伸縮性配線20の第1部分21の全部が露出しないように被覆されていればよい。例えば、遮光性シート40は、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20の外側表面を覆っていてよい。即ち、電子部品70の直下かつ、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の側面(側面26に対向する側面)に接するように、伸縮性基材10の第2領域12を遮光性シート40が覆ってもよい。
 例えば電子部品70がLED等の発光部品であり、また、生体等が電子部品70側に存し、電子部品70を発光させて生体にあてる際、伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1と対向する他方の主面3まで光が透過される場合があった。その結果、所望の光量を生体にあてることができず、正確なデータが測定できなかった。しかしながら、本開示のかかる構成により、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を遮光性シート40で被覆することで、LEDから発される光を第1主面1で遮断することで、第1主面1と対向する他方の主面3まで光が透過されない、又は達さないため、正確なデータ取得に寄与し得る。同様に、電子部品70がサーミスタ等の温度測定センサである場合も、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20が断熱性シートで被覆されることで、熱が第1主面1と対向する他方の第2主面3まで及ばないように遮熱し、測定したい対象物の温度を正確に取得することに寄与し得る。
 また、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20がカラーシートで覆われることで、電子部品70が配置されている場所を容易に特定できる。したがって、配置位置の視認性を高め得、伸縮性基材の表裏を見分けるマークとしての機能ができ得る。
[第5実施形態]
 以下、図6A~6Dを参照しながら、第5実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイスの構成について説明する。第1実施形態と比べて、第5実施形態は電子部品70を保護する電子部品カバー部材80を用いる点で異なる。
 図6Aは、本開示の第5実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)を模式的に示す上面図である。図6Bは、本開示の第5実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)を模式的に示す断面図(図6AのVIB-VIB断面における)である。図6Cは、本開示の第5実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)を模式的に示す上面図である。図6Dは、本開示の第5実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)を模式的に示す断面図(図6CのVID-VID断面における)である。
 また、第5実施形態の伸縮性デバイスを作製する場合、電子部品70を被覆する電子部品カバー部材80を滴下する工程を含む点が第1実施形態の作製方法と比較して異なる。本方法で作製することで、電子部品70を被覆する電子部品カバー部材80を備える第5実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100を作製することができる。
 本開示の第5実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100は、電子部品70、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を複数備え、電子部品70を被覆する電子部品カバー部材80を更に備える。以下に、構成要素について具体的に説明する。
(電子部品カバー部材80)
 電子部品カバー部材80の構成材料としては、特に限定するわけではないが例えば、アクリル系樹脂、エポキシ系樹脂、オレフィン系樹脂、ウレタンアクリレート系樹脂、シリコーン樹脂系等が挙げられる。電子部品実装部を保護する観点から、電子部品カバー部材80の材料としての樹脂のヤング率は伸縮性基材のヤング率より高いことが好ましい。また、電子部品カバー部材80と接触する可能性がある伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性基材カバー部材30等と非反応性であることが好ましい。
 第5実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100において、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20は、伸縮性基材カバー部材30、遮光性シート40等によって覆われていてよく、また伸縮性配線20の第1部分の一部22が露出していてよい(図6C及び図6D参照)。
 電子部品カバー部材80は、電子部品70を熱的又は機械的衝撃から保護し、電気的な絶縁等の役割をするため、電子部品70を被覆するように配置される。電子部品70全体を覆うことが好ましいが、一部のみ被覆していてもよい。
 また、電子部品カバー部材80は、電子部品70を熱的又は機械的衝撃から保護し、電気的な絶縁等をする役割がある。
 一方で、電子部品カバー部材80は、伸縮性配線20と接触すると反応する場合があり、材料が限定され得た。しかし、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の端面24が伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1に位置付けられる構造の場合(図1Cの伸縮デバイス形状に電子部品70と電子部品カバー部材80を備える構造に相当)、第2部分の端面24が電子部品70よりも外側になく、伸縮性配線20は、電子部品カバー部材80と非接触であるため、電子部品カバー部材80と伸縮性配線20は反応し得ない。
 即ち、電子部品カバー部材80と伸縮性配線20の材料間の反応性を考慮する必要がないため、電子部品カバー部材80の選択肢の幅を広げることに寄与し得る。従って、伸縮性基材10との反応性のみを考慮して電子部品カバー部材80を選定できる。例えば、電子部品カバー部材80としては、熱的又は機械的衝撃により強いシリコーン系の材料も使用でき得る。その結果、他の電子部品から電子部品70にかかる熱を考慮して設計された配置間隔を小さくできる可能性があり、電子部品カバー部材80及び伸縮性デバイス100の小面積化に寄与し得る。このため、電子部品カバー部材80の小面積化による伸縮性基材10の伸縮領域が大きくなり、伸縮性がよりよくなり得る。
 また、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20は伸縮性基材カバー部材30、遮光性シート40等に覆われていてもよい。このとき、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の端面24が伸縮性デバイス100の第1主面1に位置付けられる構造であると、各シート部材と非反応性の最適な電子部品カバー部材80を選択するだけでよく、組合せの幅を広げることにも寄与し得る。
[第6実施形態]
 以下、図9A及び図9Bを参照しながら、第6実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイスの構成について説明する。第1実施形態と比べて、第6実施形態は、伸縮性基材10の主面上に、電子部品70を取り囲む封止材91を更に備える点が異なる。
 図9Aは、本開示の第6実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)を模式的に示す上面図である。図9Bは、本開示の第6実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)を模式的に示す断面図(図9AのIXB-IXB断面における)である。また、第6実施形態の伸縮性デバイスを作製する場合、伸縮性基材10の主面1上に、電子部品70を取り囲む封止材91を設ける工程を含む点が第1実施形態の作製方法と比較して異なる。本方法で作製することで、伸縮性基材の主面上に、電子部品70を取り囲む封止材91を更に備える第6実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100を作製することができる。
 本開示の第6実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス100は、電子部品70、伸縮性基材10、及び複数の伸縮性配線20を備え、伸縮性基材10の主面上に電子部品70を取り囲む封止材91を更に備える。以下に、構成要素について具体的に説明する。以下に、構成要素について具体的に説明する。
(封止材91)
 封止材91は、電子部品70と伸縮性配線20との接続部を封止する基材である。封止材91の構成材料としては、特に限定されるものではないが例えば、アクリル系樹脂、エポキシ系樹脂、オレフィン系樹脂、ウレタンアクリレート系樹脂、シリコーン系樹脂等が挙げられる。
 封止材91は、電子部品70を取り囲むように伸縮性基材10上に設けられている。そのため、電子部品70と伸縮性基材10との密着性を向上できる。伸縮時の伸縮性基材10に実装されている電子部品70の剥離を抑制する観点から、封止材91のヤング率は、伸縮性基材10のヤング率よりも大きいことが好ましく、具体的には、300MPa以上であることが好ましい。密着性が向上することで、外部からの衝撃、振動などに対する耐性が高まり、部品の損傷を防止でき得る。また、放熱効率が向上し、電子部品70の過熱を抑制して、安定した動作を維持でき得る。更に、電子部品70と伸縮性基材10との接続部分の接触不良等の短絡リスクを軽減することができ得る。その結果、伸縮性デバイス200の信頼性の向上に寄与し得る。
 電子部品70を保護する観点から、封止材91の外輪郭は、平面視において、電子部品70の外輪郭よりも外側であることが好ましい。係る構成であると、封止材91と電子部品70の接触面積が広がり、密着性が向上できる。そのため、封止材91の外輪郭が大きいほど、電子部品70をより効果的に保護でき得る。
[第7実施形態]
 以下、図10A~10Cを参照しながら、第7実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス200(電子部品実装状態)の構成について説明する。第7実施形態は、第1形態と比べて、厚み方向において、伸縮性基材10が複数積層された伸縮性基材積層体10Aを構成している点で相違している。
 図10Aは、本開示の第7実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)を模式的に示す上面図である。図10Bは、本開示の第7実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)を模式的に示す断面図(図10AのXB-XB断面における)である。図10Cは、本開示の第7実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイスにおける電子部品と伸縮性基材の接続部分の拡大図である。
 また、第7実施形態の伸縮性デバイス200を作製する場合、伸縮性基材10を複数積層する工程を含む点、及び伸縮性基材10を積層するに伴い、伸縮性配線20、20αも複数設けられる工程を含む点が第1実施形態の作製方法と比較して異なる。本方法で作製することで、厚み方向において、伸縮性基材10が複数積層された伸縮性基材積層体を構成する第7実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス200を作製することができる。なお、伸縮性デバイス200において、図12に示す通り、伸縮性基材積層体10Aは、電子部品カバー部材80を備えてもよい。
 本開示の第7実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス200は、電子部品70、複数の伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20、20αを備え、厚み方向において、伸縮性基材10が複数積層される伸縮性基材積層体10Aを構成する。なお、電子部品70と、伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20を、接続部材90(例えば、はんだ等)を介して接続することができる。
 具体的には、第1部21分及び第2部分23を有する伸縮性配線20が、電子部品70が実装された伸縮性基材10の内部に少なくとも設けられている。即ち、伸縮性基材積層体10Aを構成する伸縮性基材10の最上層及び/又は最下層に、第1部21分及び第2部分23を有する伸縮性配線20が少なくとも設けられている。また、電子部品70が実装された伸縮性基材10以外の他の伸縮性基材10(即ち、最上層及び/又は最下層以外の伸縮性基材10)には、複数の伸縮性配線20α(即ち、第1部分21及び第2部分23を有さない伸縮性配線20)が設けられている。係る伸縮性配線20αは、第1方向及び/又は第1方向とは異なる第2方向に延在していてよい。
 電子部品70が実装された伸縮性基材10の内部に設けられる、第1部分21及び第2部分23を有する伸縮性配線20は、他の伸縮性基材10に設けられる伸縮性配線20αと電気的に接続可能である。これらの伸縮性配線20、20αは、更に別の伸縮性配線20αを介して接続してもよく、導電部として機能し得る伸縮性配線20を、ビア導体28に代えて接続してもよい。また、電子部品70が実装された伸縮性基材10以外の他の伸縮性基材10に設けられる、複数の伸縮性配線20α同士も、同様に、伸縮性配線20αを介して及び/又はビア導体28に代えて接続してもよい。なお、ビア導体28は、伸縮性配線の第2部分23と同様に「導電部」として作用している点で共通する。そのため、本願明細書では、ビア導体28は、伸縮性配線20の構成要素の一部であり得る点を確認的に述べておく。
 上記の通り配置された伸縮性配線20、20αを有する伸縮性基材10を積層することで、多層配線が可能となり、高集積化が実現でき得る。また、積層構造により層間の相互作用が最適化され、電気的な接続性能と機械的な強度が向上する。さらに、積層構造を採ることで、伸縮時の応力が各層に分散され、第1実施形態と比較して、伸縮性デバイス200の機械的強度および耐久性がより強化され得る。
 一方、従前の構成では、電子部品を実装する伸縮性基材の一部が凹部を有し、その下に凹部を有さない伸縮性基材が積層されると、伸縮性デバイスの伸縮時に、凹部の有無による伸縮性の違いが生じ得る。このような構成では、凹部周辺に応力が集中しやすく、例えば、複数配線のうち一部破断されることにより、伸縮性デバイスの電気的接続が確保できなくなる虞がある。
 これに対して、本開示に係る伸縮性基材積層体10Aでは、凹部を有さない複数の伸縮性基材10で構成されているため、各伸縮性基材10の厚みが均一となる。係る構成により、伸縮性デバイス200の伸縮時においても、各伸縮性基材10の伸縮性が等しくなり、応力が特定の箇所に集中することを抑制でき得る。その結果、電子部品70が実装された伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20、20αの破断等を抑制でき、その結果、伸縮性デバイス200の信頼性向上に寄与し得る。
[第8実施形態] 
 以下、図13A~13Cを参照しながら、第8実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイスの構成について説明する。第1実施形態と比べて、第8実施形態は、厚み方向において、伸縮性基材10が複数積層された伸縮性基材積層体10Aを構成している点が異なる。また、伸縮性配線20の第2部分の端面24上に表面電極27が設けられており、表面電極27と電子部品70とが接続されている点が異なる。
 図13Aは、本開示の第8実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)を模式的に示す上面図である。図13Bは、本開示の第8実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス(電子部品実装状態)を模式的に示す断面図(図13AのXIIIB-XIIIB断面における)である。図13Cは、本開示の第8実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイスにおける電子部品と伸縮性基材の接続部分の拡大図である。
 また、第8実施形態の伸縮性デバイスを作製する場合、伸縮性基材10を複数積層する工程を含む点、及び伸縮性基材10を積層するに伴い、伸縮性配線20、20αも複数設けられる工程を含む点、更に、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の端面24上に表面電極27を作製する工程を含む点が第1実施形態の作製方法と比較して異なる。本方法で作製することで、厚み方向において、伸縮性基材10が複数積層された伸縮性基材積層体10Aを構成する第8実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス200を作製することができる。
 本開示の第8実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイス200は、電子部品70、複数の伸縮性基材10及び伸縮性配線20、20αを備え、厚み方向において、伸縮性基材10が複数積層される伸縮性基材積層体10Aを構成する。また、伸縮性配線20の端面24に表面電極27を更に備える。
 具体的には、電子部品70が実装される伸縮性基材10に設けられる伸縮性配線20の第2部分23の端面24上に、表面電極27を更に有しており、表面電極27は、電子部品70と接続可能である。表面電極27は、伸縮性配線20の端面24上に設けられることが好ましいが、端面24の厚み方向に一部埋め込まれた構成をとってもよい。表面電極27が端面24上に設けられると、伸縮性基材10との接続が確保され、電気的接続の安定性が保持されるとともに、端面24上に配置されることにより製造プロセスが簡便になる。さらに、端面24上に配置された表面電極27は、外部接続部分としてアクセスしやすい。表面電極27が伸縮性配線20の端面24に一部埋め込まれる場合、伸縮性基材10内に少なくとも埋設された状態となり、表面電極27が伸縮性基材10と一体化され得る。したがって、伸縮時の応力が分散されて電極構造の耐久性が向上し、剥離などの故障を抑制することができる。
 特に、表面電極27上に電子部品70が実装される場合、電子部品70は、接続部材90(例えば、はんだ等)を介して、伸縮性基材10および伸縮性配線20と接続されているため、表面電極27との接続部分の外縁は応力が集中しやすい。しかしながら、本開示の構成を採ることで、伸縮性デバイス200の伸縮時において、上記外縁にかかる応力の集中を緩和し、電子部品70との接続部分の信頼性を高めることが可能となる。
 また、伸縮性配線20の第2部分の端面24の外輪郭は、上面視において、表面電極27の外輪郭と一致する、又は表面電極27の外輪郭の外側であり得る。係る構成とすることで、表面電極27が伸縮性配線20の端面24に支持されるため、機械的な安定性が高まり、応力分散効果がより一層促進される。これにより、電子部品70との接続部における応力集中が抑制され、剥離や破断などの不具合を低減でき得る。また、伸縮性配線20との接触面積が十分に確保されることで、電気的接続の信頼性も向上し、さらに、製造工程における位置ズレなどのばらつきに対しても安定した性能を確保しやすくなる。
 なお、第7実施形態において、上述した通り、ビア導体28は伸縮性配線20の構成要素の一部であることができるため、伸縮性配線20の第2部分23をビア導体28に代えてもよく、ビア導体28と伸縮性配線20の第1部分21が連続して、伸縮性配線20を構成していてもよい(図11参照)。第8実施形態においても、同様に、ビア導体28は伸縮性配線20の構成要素の一部であることができ、係るビア導体28の上に表面電極27が設けられる構成を採ることもできる。いずれの構成を採る場合でも、電気的接続といった所期の効果を得ることができる。
 実施例1+比較例1
 従前の伸縮性デバイス(デバイス主面に段差有り/電子部品を内部に配置可能なスペースを有する凹部分有)と本開示の伸縮性デバイス100(デバイス主面に段差無し)を用いて比較対照実験を実施した。
 まず、引張試験機(日本計測システム株式会社 型番:JSH-H1000)に、LED(電子部品70に相当)を実装した各試験片の両端保持部を固定した後、試験片のうち伸縮性基材部分に電圧印加を行い、LEDを点灯させた。
 その後、引張試験機で伸縮性デバイス100を伸長させた。LEDが消灯する、つまり伸縮性配線が断線したときの各試験片の長さを測定し、伸張する前の初期長さに対する伸張後の伸縮性デバイスの伸張率を算出した。
 その結果を図8に示す。図8の左側は従前の伸縮性デバイスに関する結果、右側は本開示の伸縮性デバイス100に関する結果を示す。従前の構造では伸張率が約20%であるのに対し、本開示の構造では約35%であった。この事から、伸張率が約15%向上し、伸縮性配線20の断線発生を抑制できたことが明らかになった。
実施例2+比較例2
 また、上記引張試験実験を更に数値的又は視覚的に確認するために、従前と本開示の構造を立体的に表した図面を用いて構造解析を実施した。
 その結果、従前の構造においては、段差部分から露出した伸縮性配線20に応力が局所的にかかっており、その応力は約60MPaであった。一方で、本開示の構造においては、電子部品70と伸縮性基材10とが接する界面に応力がかかっているものの、その応力は約20MPaであり、従前に比べてかかる応力が1/3に軽減されたことが確認できた。
 また、本開示の構造に比べて、従前の構造にかかる応力のほうが、広範囲で大きな応力がかかっていることが明らかになった。以上のことから、本開示の構造によると、従前の伸縮性配線20の露出部分を伸縮性基材10が覆うことにより、伸縮性配線20にかかる応力が覆った伸縮性基材10に分散して応力緩和されたことが確認的に示された。本構造解析の結果は、上記の引張試験の結果と一致しているといえる。
 以上、本開示の実施形態について説明してきたが、あくまでも典型例を例示したに過ぎない。本開示はこれに限定されず、本開示の要旨を変更しない範囲において種々の態様が考えられることを、当業者は容易に理解されよう。
 なお、上述のような本開示の一実施形態に係る伸縮性デバイスは、次の好適な態様を包含している。
第1態様:
 伸縮性基材と、
 前記伸縮性基材上に実装された電子部品と、
 少なくとも前記伸縮性基材内に設けられた伸縮性配線を複数備え、
 前記伸縮性基材は、厚み方向から見て伸縮性配線と重なる第1領域と、前記伸縮性配線と重ならず、前記電子部品と重なる第2領域とを有し、及び前記伸縮性配線の配置箇所における断面視にて、前記第2領域の厚さが前記第1領域の厚さよりも大きく、
 前記複数の伸縮性配線のうち少なくとも1つは、前記伸縮性配線の伸縮方向である第1方向に延在する第1部分と、前記第1部分に連続しかつ前記電子部品に電気的に接続可能に前記第1方向とは異なる第2方向に延在する第2部分を有する、伸縮性デバイス。
第2態様:
 上記第1態様において、前記伸縮性配線が屈曲形態を有する、伸縮性デバイス。
第3態様:
 上記第1態様又は上記第2態様において、前記伸縮性配線の前記第2部分と前記伸縮性基材の前記第2領域とが接する、伸縮性デバイス。
第4態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第3態様のいずれかにおいて、前記第2部分の前記端面に連続し、前記伸縮性基材の厚み方向に延在する側面と前記電子部品の側面とが面一である、伸縮性デバイス。
第5態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第4態様のいずれかにおいて、前記伸縮性配線の第2部分の厚みが、前記第1部分の厚みより大きい、伸縮性デバイス。
第6態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第5態様のいずれかにおいて、前記伸縮性配線の第2部分の端面は前記伸縮性基材の最上面に位置するまたは前記最上面よりも上側に位置する、伸縮性デバイス。
第7態様:
 上記第6態様において、前記伸縮性基材の主面に段差がなく同じ平面上にある、伸縮性デバイス。
第8態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第7態様のいずれかにおいて、前記伸縮方向において、前記伸縮性配線の第1部分の一部が露出している、伸縮性デバイス。
第9態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第8態様のいずれかにおいて、前記第1部分の一部が露出している部分が電極として用いられる、伸縮性デバイス。
第10態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第9態様のいずれかにおいて、前記伸縮性基材及び前記伸縮性配線を被覆する伸縮性基材カバー部材を更に備える、伸縮性デバイス。
第11態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第9態様のいずれかにおいて、前記伸縮性基材及び前記伸縮性配線を被覆する遮光性シート又は断熱性シートを更に備える、伸縮性デバイス。
第12態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第9態様のいずれかにおいて、前記伸縮性基材及び前記伸縮性配線を被覆するカラーシートを更に備える、伸縮性デバイス。
第13態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第12態様のいずれかにおいて、前記電子部品を被覆する電子部品カバー部材を更に備える、伸縮性デバイス。
第14態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第13態様のいずれかにおいて、前記伸縮性基材の主面上に、前記電子部品を取り囲む封止材を更に備える、伸縮性デバイス。
第15態様:
 上記第14態様において、前記封止材のヤング率は、前記伸縮性基材のヤング率よりも大きい、伸縮性デバイス。
第16態様:
 上記第14又は15態様において、前記封止材のヤング率は300MPa以上である、伸縮性デバイス。
第17態様:
 上記第14態様~上記第16態様のいずれかにおいて、平面視において、前記封止材の外輪郭は、前記電子部品の外輪郭よりも外側である、伸縮性デバイス。
第18態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第17態様のいずれかにおいて、厚み方向において、前記伸縮性基材が複数積層された伸縮性基材積層体を含み、
 前記第1部分及び前記第2部分を有する前記伸縮性配線は、前記電子部品が実装された前記伸縮性基材の内部に少なくとも設けられ、
 前記電子部品が実装された前記伸縮性基材以外の他の前記伸縮性基材に、複数の伸縮性配線が設けられ、
 前記第1部分及び前記第2部分を有する前記伸縮性配線は、前記他の伸縮性基材に設けられる前記伸縮性配線と電気的に接続可能である、伸縮性デバイス。
第19態様:
 上記第1態様~上記第18態様のいずれかにおいて、前記伸縮性配線の前記第2部分の端面上に、表面電極を更に有し、
 前記表面電極は、前記電子部品と接続される、伸縮性デバイス。
第20態様:
 上記第19態様において、平面視において、前記伸縮性配線の前記第2部分の端面の外輪郭は、前記表面電極の外輪郭と一致する、又は前記表面電極の外輪郭の外側にある、伸縮性デバイス。

Claims (20)

  1. 伸縮性基材と、
    前記伸縮性基材上に実装された電子部品と、
    少なくとも前記伸縮性基材内に設けられた伸縮性配線を複数備え、
    前記伸縮性基材は、厚み方向から見て伸縮性配線と重なる第1領域と、前記伸縮性配線と重ならず、前記電子部品と重なる第2領域とを有し、及び前記伸縮性配線の配置箇所における断面視にて、前記第2領域の厚さが前記第1領域の厚さよりも大きく、
    前記複数の伸縮性配線のうち少なくとも1つは、前記伸縮性配線の伸縮方向である第1方向に延在する第1部分と、前記第1部分に連続しかつ前記電子部品に電気的に接続可能に前記第1方向とは異なる第2方向に延在する第2部分を有する、伸縮性デバイス。
  2. 前記伸縮性配線が屈曲形態を有する、請求項1に記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  3. 前記伸縮性配線の前記第2部分と前記伸縮性基材の前記第2領域とが接する、請求項1又は2に記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  4. 前記伸縮性配線の前記第2部分の端面に連続し、前記伸縮性基材の厚み方向に延在する側面と前記電子部品の側面とが面一である、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  5. 前記伸縮性配線の第2部分の厚みが、前記第1部分の厚みより大きい、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  6. 前記伸縮性配線の第2部分の端面は、前記伸縮性基材の最上面に位置するまたは前記最上面よりも上側に位置する、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  7. 前記伸縮性基材の主面に段差がなく同じ平面上にある、請求項6に記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  8. 前記伸縮方向において、前記伸縮性配線の第1部分の一部が露出している、請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  9. 前記第1部分の一部が露出している部分が電極として用いられる、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  10. 前記伸縮性基材及び前記伸縮性配線を被覆する伸縮性基材カバー部材を更に備える、請求項1~9のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  11. 前記伸縮性基材及び前記伸縮性配線を被覆する遮光性シート又は断熱性シートを更に備える、請求項1~9のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  12. 前記伸縮性基材及び前記伸縮性配線を被覆するカラーシートを更に備える、請求項1~9のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  13. 前記電子部品を被覆する電子部品カバー部材を更に備える、請求項1~12のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  14.  前記伸縮性基材の主面上に、前記電子部品を取り囲む封止材を更に備える、請求項1~13のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  15.  前記封止材のヤング率は、前記伸縮性基材のヤング率よりも大きい、請求項14に記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  16.  前記封止材のヤング率は300MPa以上である、請求項14又は15に記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  17.  平面視において、前記封止材の外輪郭は、前記電子部品の外輪郭よりも外側である、請求項14~16のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  18.  厚み方向において、前記伸縮性基材が複数積層された伸縮性基材積層体を含み、
     前記第1部分及び前記第2部分を有する前記伸縮性配線は、前記電子部品が実装された前記伸縮性基材の内部に少なくとも設けられ、
     前記電子部品が実装された前記伸縮性基材以外の他の前記伸縮性基材に、複数の伸縮性配線が設けられ、
     前記第1部分及び前記第2部分を有する前記伸縮性配線は、前記他の伸縮性基材に設けられる前記伸縮性配線と電気的に接続可能である、請求項1~17のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  19.  前記伸縮性配線の前記第2部分の端面上に、表面電極を更に有し、
     前記表面電極は、前記電子部品と接続される、請求項1~18のいずれかに記載の伸縮性デバイス。
  20.  平面視において、前記伸縮性配線の前記第2部分の端面の外輪郭は、前記表面電極の外輪郭と一致する、又は前記表面電極の外輪郭の外側にある、請求項19に記載の伸縮性デバイス。
