- the macro-maintenance plan can be scheduled to minimize maintenance costs for clustered power generation facilities. Since maintenance costs include maintenance losses due to power loss, estimating the maintenance loss costs requires estimating the power loss of clustered power generation facilities.
- Power plants can be designed to generate a specific amount of electricity when provided with a specific intensity of renewable resources.
- Clustered power plants can interact with each other, where one generator influences the intensity of the renewable resources provided to another. For example, when an object moves through a fluid, the fluid flow behind the object can affect the intensity of the renewable resources provided to a subsequent generator, resulting in a decrease in the intensity of the subsequent generator. Furthermore, the maintenance or shutdown of a preceding generator can restore the intensity of the renewable resources provided to a subsequent generator.
