Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a biological information measurement device, a biological information measurement method, and a program.
  • Patent Document 1 discloses technology that automatically switches impedance measurement modes depending on the measurement state of the subject.
  • Patent Document 2 discloses technology that automatically determines whether the subject is a human or animal based on the contact state between the soles of the subject's feet and the measurement electrodes, measures the appropriate impedance for each, and calculates body composition data based on the impedance.
  • Patent Document 3 discloses technology that measures the user's cardiovascular characteristics.
  • Patent Document 4 discloses a visceral fat meter that displays visceral fat information, equipped with a setting registration key for setting and registering unique biometric information about the body and time, a personal key for calling up and measuring unique biometric information about the body, and a dedicated weight key for measuring weight only.
  • a typical body composition scale has a load cell and electrodes that contact the human body. These measure weight and bioimpedance, which then display weight and various body composition-related results. These measurements take only a few seconds, and body movements such as head movements during the measurement to check the measurement progress displayed at the user's feet have little effect on the measurement results.
  • body composition scale is equipped with features such as BCG (ballistocardiogram) measurements from the load cell and IPG (impedance pulse wave) measurements from the electrodes to provide cardiovascular status information to the user, body movements caused by head or arm movements during measurement can significantly affect the measurement results, resulting in longer measurement times or even measurement errors requiring remeasurements.
  • body composition scales typically collect a series of data simultaneously, with all measurement results displayed in order after a specified measurement time has elapsed. Therefore, the more measurement items are added, the longer the measurement takes, including the time required to display the results.
  • the only item being monitored may be weight, and the measurement items may be limited to weight.
  • a body composition scale is provided with a dedicated key for weight, as in Patent Document 4, an additional key is required, and key operation before measurement is tedious, reducing usability.
  • it is expected that the person being measured will stand on the body composition scale while wearing socks. In this case, the person's bioimpedance cannot be measured, resulting in a measurement error and reducing usability.
  • the present invention was made in consideration of the above situation, and aims to improve usability in measuring biological information.
  • One aspect of the present invention provides a biological information measuring device having a placement surface on which a person to be measured can stand, the biological information measuring device comprising: a first measurement unit that performs at least one of a first measurement process that measures the condition of the soles of the feet of the person to be measured while placed on the placement surface and a second measurement process that measures the body movements of the person to be measured while placed on the placement surface; and a second measurement unit that selects at least one measurement item from a plurality of measurement items related to the body of the person to be measured based on at least one of the measurement results of the first measurement process and the measurement results of the second measurement process, and measures the biological information of the person to be measured.
  • At least one measurement item from a plurality of measurement items related to the body of the person to be measured is selected in accordance with the condition of the soles of the feet of the person to be measured and the body movements of the person to be measured, thereby improving usability in measuring biological information.
  • the multiple measurement items include a measurement item for measuring the weight of the person being measured who is placed on the placement surface, and the sensor for measuring the body movement of the person being measured who is placed on the placement surface is used as both a sensor and a sensor for measuring the weight of the person being measured who is placed on the placement surface. This allows for cost reductions.
  • the plurality of measurement items include measurement items that are measured using a sensor that measures the body movement of the person being measured who is placed on the placement surface.
  • the sensor that measures the body movement of the person being measured may be a load cell.
  • Measurement items that are measured using a load cell include measurement items that measure weight, measurement items that measure standing balance, and measurement items that measure cardiovascular status.

  • the measurement items that can be measured without using the measurement results of bioimpedance are the measurement item that measures body weight and the measurement item that measures standing balance. • the soles of the feet of the subject placed on the placement surface of the biological information measuring device are at a low temperature, the accuracy of measuring the condition of the soles of the feet of the subject using multiple electrodes decreases, and there is a possibility that the subject may be erroneously determined to be not barefoot even when they are.

制御部20は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)、メモリ、ストレージ等のハードウェア資源を備えている。メモリは、RAM(Random Access Memory)であってもよい。
