Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an actuator control system that controls an actuator mounted on a vehicle, and a steering device that uses this system.
  • Patent Document 1 describes a redundant motor drive system in which a first and second actuator are each controlled by two control and calculation units.
  • the control and calculation units of the paired systems between each actuator communicate with each other to drive and control the motor. If a communication system fails, information about the failed system is obtained through communication between the control and calculation units and transmitted via the communication line of the normal system.
  • Patent Document 1 when a failure occurs in the communications system, information about the failed system is acquired between the corresponding control and calculation units of the first and second systems, and communication is carried out via the communications line of the normal system, which creates delays and reduces controllability.

Description

 更に、通信にはCAN(Controller Area Network)、イーサネット(登録商標)及びFlexRay(登録商標)など、様々な車載通信ネットワークを適用できる。
第1操舵量信号及び第2操舵量信号は、ラックバー113の位置に応じたアナログ信号が、SENT(Single Edge Nibble Transmission)ベースのSPC(Short PWM Code)プロトコルに基づいてSENTメッセージにエンコードされたデジタル信号である。
