Description

제습기
본 발명은 제습기에 관한 것이다.
제습기는 원하는 공간의 공기를 흡입하여 열 교환을 통해 공기에 포함된 습기를 제거하고, 습기가 제거된 공기를 원하는 공간으로 토출함으로써, 원하는 공간의 습도를 낮추는 가전 기기의 일종이다.
상기 제습기는 원하는 공간의 공기를 흡입하여 응축기와 증발기로 이루어지는 열교환기를 통과시킴으로써, 응축기와 증발기를 유동하는 냉매와 통과하는 공기를 열 교환시켜 습기를 제거하게 된다.
상기 증발기는 액체 상태의 냉매를 증발시킴으로써 주위의 공기로부터 열을 흡수하게 되고, 상기 응축기는 기체 상태의 냉매를 응축시킴으로써 열을 방출하여 주의의 공기로 열을 전달하게 된다.
즉, 상기 열교환기를 통과하는 공기는 증발기를 통과하면서 냉매와 열 교환되어 습도가 낮아지게 되고, 습도가 낮아진 공기가 응축기를 통과하면서 냉매와 열 교환되어 건조되는 과정이 진행된다.
상기 열교환기를 통과하면서 건조된 공기는 원하는 공간으로 토출되어 원하는 공간의 공기 중의 습도를 낮추게 된다.
제습된 공기가 토출부를 통하여 배출되는 과정에서, 토출성능이 개선되고 소음이 크게 발생되는 것을 방지할 필요가 있다.
본 발명은 팬에서 토출되는 기류가 집중적으로 발생되도록 하여 기류의 유속을 증가시키고 토출성능을 개선할 수 있는 제습기를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 토출부에서의 데드 존을 감소시키기 위하여 토출부의 중심부에서 토출부의 에지까지 거리가 동일하거나 유사한 원형 또는 타원형 토출부를 구비하는 제습기를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 팬 및 팬 하우징의 구성과, 그 배치구조를 개선하여 유로 저항을 낮추고 상기 유로 저항에 의하여 발생되는 소음을 저감할 수 있는 제습기를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 열교환기가 팬 하우징의 토출측 유로에 더 가깝게 배치되고 토출부의 중심과 상기 토출측 유로의 중심을 인접하게 배치함으로써, 공기의 열교환 성능 및 유동성능을 개선할 수 있는 제습기를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 팬 유로가 원주 방향으로 확장되도록 하는 스크롤부를 구성하고, 컷오프부의 중심이 팬의 중심과 토출부의 중심 사이에 위치되도록 함으로써 팬에서 토출되는 공기가 재흡입되는 것을 방지할 수 있는 제습기를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 유동성능을 개선하기 위하여 컷오프부가 하우징 본체의 내면으로부터 토출부의 중심을 향하여 돌출하도록 구성되는 제습기를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 팬의 흡입측과 토출측의 경계를 명확하게 구분하기 위하여, 서로 다른 곡률 또는 방향으로 연장하는 다수의 파트를 가지는 컷오프부를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 팬에서 토출된 공기의 유로를 확대하기 위하여 팬 하우징의 토출측 부분에 깔때기 형상의 챔퍼부를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 팬을 거친 공기가 토출되는 과정에서 팬으로 재흡입 되는 것이 방지되도록 팬 하우징의 흡입부측에 가이드 리브를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 원형 토출부와 팬 하우징의 토출파트가 서로 대응되는 형상으로 결합될 수 있도록 컷오프부를 기준으로 팬 유로가 확장될 수 있는 스크롤부를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명의 실시예에 따른 제습기는 축방향으로 공기를 흡입하여 반경 방향으로 토출하는 팬 및 스크롤 하우징을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 팬에서 토출하는 기류가 토출부를 통하여 집중하여 배출될 수 있도록, 상기 스크롤 하우징의 토출파트의 중심과 토출부의 중심은 서로 인접하게 배치되거나, 동일한 중심선상에 배치될 수 있다.
상기 토출부는 상기 토출부의 중심으로부터 토출부의 외주면까지의 거리가 동일하거나 유사한 원형 또는 타원형 토출부를 포함할 수 있다.

상기 컷오프부는 상기 경계부와 연결되는 제1단부 및 상기 팬의 회전방향을 기준으로 상기 스크롤부가 시작되는 부분과 연결되는 제2단부를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제2단부는, 상기 컷오프부 중에서 상기 팬의 외주면과 가장 가깝게 위치되는 부분을 포함할 수 있다.

상기 팬 하우징은 상기 팬의 안착부를 가지는 하우징 본체 및 상기 하우징 본체에 결합되며 팬 흡입구를 형성하는 오리피스를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 오리피스는, 상기 토출측 유로에 구비되며 공기의 토출면적을 증가하는 방향으로 경사지게 연장하는 챔퍼부를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 챔퍼부는 깔때기 형상을 가질 수 있다.

상기 오리피스는 상기 팬의 축방향으로 돌출하는 가이드 리브를 포함하고, 상기 가이드 리브는, 상기 팬으로부터 토출된 공기가 상기 팬의 외주면 측으로 재흡입 하는 것을 차단하도록 상기 흡입구를 둘러싸도록 배치될 수 있다.

상기 제습기(10)는 외관을 형성하며, 제습된 공기를 토출하기 위한 다수의 부품을 수용하는 본체(100)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 본체(100)는 제1케이스(110) 및 제2케이스(120)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1,2케이스(110,120)에 의하여, 상기 본체(100)의 외면이 정의될 수 있다. 상세히, 상기 본체(100)는 전면부(101), 후면부(102), 제1측면부(103), 제2측면부(104), 상면부(105) 및 저면부(106)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1케이스(110)는 상기 제2케이스(120)의 상측에 배치되며, 상기 제1,2케이스(110,120)는 서로 결합될 수 있다. 상기 제1,2케이스(110,120)의 결합면에는 체결기구(115)가 제공될 수 있다. 일례로, 상기 체결기구(115)는 브라켓 및 체결부재를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1케이스(110)의 내부에는 기류를 발생시키기 위한 팬 어셈블리(200) 및 공기의 열교환을 위한 열교환기(180)가 배치될 수 있다.
상기 케이스(120)의 내부에는 압축기(161), 물통(130) 및 전장장치(170)가 배치될 수 있다.
상기 제1,2케이스(110,120)는 좌측 단부 및 우측 단부가 소정의 곡률로 라운드지게 연장하도록 구성되며, 매끄러운 면을 구성하여 디자인적으로 심미감을 개선할 수 있다. 즉, 상기 제1측면부(103) 및 제2측면부(104)는 매끄럽게 라운드진 곡면을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1측면부(103) 중 상면부(105)를 형성하는 부분의 곡률은 후술할 토출부(140)의 곡률에 대응하도록 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제습기(10)는 공기 중 응축된 물을 저장하는 물통(130)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 물통(130)은 상기 제습기(10)의 하부에 착탈 가능하게 제공될 수 있다. 일례로, 상기 물통(130)은 상기 제2케이스(120)에 착탈 가능하게 제공될 수 있다.
상기 물통(130)은 상기 제습기(10)의 측방으로 분리될 수 있다. 상기 물통(130)이 제습기의 하부에 위치하므로 제습기의 무게 안정성이 개선되며, 제습기에 저장된 물이 제습기 내부 부품으로 흘러들어갈 우려가 줄어든다.
제습기가 동작하면, 외부의 공기는 제습기(10)의 후면부(102)로 흡입되며, 상면부(105)를 통하여 배출될 수 있다. 상기 후면부(102)에는 공기 흡입을 위한 흡입부(112)가 구비되고, 상기 상면부(105)에는 토출부(140)가 구비될 수 있다.
상기 흡입부(112)는 상기 제1케이스(110)의 후면부(102)에 형성되며, 상기 토출부(140)는 상기 제1케이스(110)의 상면부(105) 중 일부분이 개구되어 형성될 수 있다.
상기 토출부(140)는 팬(230)을 통과한 공기가 제습기의 상방으로 배출될 수 있도록 가이드 할 수 있다. 상기 토출부(140)는 상기 팬(230)의 토출측 유로의 최대 폭과 실질적으로 동일한 폭을 가지도록 구성될 수 있다.
일례로, 상기 토출부(140)는 상기 폭을 지름으로 하는 원형 토출부를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 상면부(105)의 측면 테두리는 라운드진 곡선부를 포함하고, 상기 원형 토출부의 외주면 중 일부분은 상기 상면부(105)의 측면 테두리에 대응하는 곡률을 형성할 수 있다.
상기 원형 토출부의 외주면 중 일부분의 곡률중심은 상기 상면부(105)의 측면 테두리의 곡률중심과 동일하게 형성될 수 있다. 이와 같은 구성에 의하면, 상기 원형 토출부의 외주면 중 일부분은 상기 상면부(105)의 측면 테두리와 평행하도록 연장할 수 있다.
상기 토출부(140)는 상면부(105)의 좌우방향 중심에 대하여 일 측방으로 편심된 위치에 형성될 수 있다. 일례로, 상기 토출부(140)는 제1,2측면부(103,104) 중 제1측면부(103)에 더 가까운 위치에 형성될 수 있다.
상기 토출부(140)에는 토출되는 기류의 방향을 조절하는 토출베인(145)이 제공될 수 있다. 상기 토출베인(145)은 움직임 또는 회전 가능하게 제공될 수 있다.
상기 본체(100)의 내부에는 기류의 발생 및 열교환을 위한 부품이 배치되는 유동파트 및 제습기의 작동에 필요한 주요 구동부품과 처리부품이 배치되는 구동파트가 배치될 수 있다.
상기 유동파트와 구동파트는 상하로 배치될 수 있다. 일례로, 상기 유동파트는 상기 구동파트의 상측에 배치되며, 상기 유동파트와 구동파트의 사이에는 이들을 구획하는 내부 프레임(150)이 배치될 수 있다.
상기 유동파트는 흡입부(112)의 내측에 배치되는 열교환기(180) 및 상기 열교환기(180)의 전방에 배치되며 상기 열교환기(180)를 통과한 공기가 흡입되는 팬 어셈블리(200)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 열교환기(180)는 증발기(181) 및 응축기(183)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 증발기(181) 및 응축기(183)가 공기가 유동되는 방향, 즉 전후 방향으로 나란하게 배치될 수 있다.
상기 열교환기(180)는 상기 증발기(181)와 응축기(183)의 측방에 배치되며 상기 증발기(181)와 응축기(183)를 입출하는 냉매의 유동을 가이드 하는 배관부(185)를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 증발기(181)는 상기 흡입부(112)와 상기 응축기(183)의 사이에 배치되어, 흡입부(112)를 통하여 흡입된 공기는 상기 증발기(181)를 먼저 통과하여 냉각된 후 상기 응축기(183)를 통과하면서 가열될 수 있다.
공기가 상기 증발기(181)를 통과하면서 냉각되면, 공기 중에 포함된 수분은 응축되어 응축수를 발생시키며 공기는 제습될 수 있다. 상기 응축수는 물통(130)에 저장될 수 있다.
제습된 공기는 상기 응축기(183)를 통과하면서 가열되고 상기 팬 어셈블리(200)로 흡입될 수 있다. 상기 팬 어셈블리(200)를 통과한 공기는, 상기 팬 어셈블리(200)의 상단부에 마련된 토출부(140)를 통하여 배출될 수 있다.
상기 구동파트는 상기 증발기(181)에서 발생된 응축수를 저장하는 물통(130)을 포함할 수 있다. 일례로, 상기 물통(130)은 본체(100)의 제2측면부(104)에 노출되도록 배치될 수 있다. 사용자는 물통(130)을 제2측면부(104)의 측방으로 인출할 수 있다.
상기 구동파트는 냉동 사이클을 운전하기 위하여 냉매를 압축하는 압축기(161)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 압축기(161)에서 압축된 냉매는 상기 배관부(185)를 통하여 응축기(183)로 유입될 수 있다.
상기 배관부(185)는 상기 압축기(161)의 출구포트에 연결되며 상기 내부 프레임(150)을 관통 또는 우회하여 상기 응축기(183)에 연결될 수 있다.
상기 구동파트는 제습기의 전장부품이 구비되는 전장장치(170)를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 물통(130)과, 상기 압축기(161) 및 전장장치(170)는 좌우방향, 일례로 제2측면부(104)에서 제1측면부(103)를 향하는 방향으로 배열될 수 있다.
상기 내부 프레임(150)은 상기 유동파트와 상기 구동파트를 분리하도록 상기 본체(100)의 내부공간을 상하로 구획하는 구획판(151)을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 내부 프레임(150)은 상기 구획판(151)으로부터 상기 구동파트를 향하여 연장하며 상기 구동파트의 부품들의 수용공간을 분리하는 다수의 격벽(153,155)을 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 다수의 격벽(153,155)은 상기 물통(130)의 수용공간을 정의하기 위한 제1격벽(153)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제1격벽(153)은 상기 구획판(151)으로부터 하방으로 연장하여 저면부(106)에 지지될 수 있다. 상기 본체(100)와, 상기 제1격벽(153) 및 구획판(151)은 상기 물통(130)의 수용공간을 정의할 수 있다.

도 4를 참조하면, 제습기(10)를 위에서 내려다 볼 때, 토출부(140)는 상면부(105)의 좌우방향 중심(C1)으로부터 일측으로 편심될 수 있다.
상세히, 상기 좌우방향 중심(C1)을 전후 방향으로 연장한 중심선(ℓc)을 정의할 때, 상기 중심선(ℓc)은 상기 상면부(105)를 상기 토출부(140)가 위치하는 제1영역 및 반대편 제2영역으로 구분할 수 있다.

상기 토출부(140)의 중심은 팬(230)의 중심에 대하여 편심되며, 열교환기(180)의 중심 또는 제습기의 중심을 지나는 상하방향의 중심선(ℓc', 도 18 참조)은 토출부(140)의 중심을 지나는 상하방향의 중심선(ℓ4, 도 18 참조)과 팬의 중심을 지나는 상하방향의 중심선 사이에 위치할 수 있다.
팬 하우징(201)은 팬(230)의 흡입측과 토출측의 경계를 이루는 컷오프부(215)를 포함하며, 상기 컷오프부(215)의 중심을 지나는 상하방향의 중심선(ℓ5, 도 18 참조)은 상기 상면부(105)의 제1영역을 지날 수 있다.
상기 토출부(140)의 전체 영역은 상기 제2측면부(104)보다 상기 제1측면부(103)에 더 인접하게 형성될 수 있다.
상기 토출부(140)의 외주면 중 상기 제1측면부(103)에 가장 인접한 제1만곡부(140a, curve portion)는 상기 제1측면부(103)의 제2만곡부(103a)에 대응하는 곡률을 가지도록 형성되며, 제1,2만곡부는 동일한 곡률중심을 가질 수 있다.

상기 토출부(140)에는 다수의 토출베인(145)이 움직임 가능하게 제공되며, 상기 다수의 토출베인(145)은 좌우 방향으로 연장하는 베인 링크(144)에 의하여 연결될 수 있다. 상기 베인 링크(144)는 상기 좌우방향 중심선(ℓo) 상에 위치될 수 있다.
상기 베인 링크(144)의 좌우방향 움직임에 의하여, 상기 다수의 토출베인(145)은 함께 회전하여 상기 토출부(140)를 선택적으로 개폐할 수 있다. 일례로, 상기 다수의 토출베인(145)은 수동으로 조작될 수 있다.
상기 본체(100)의 내부에는 팬(230)의 유로를 형성하는 팬 하우징(201)이 배치될 수 있다. 상기 팬 하우징(201)은 팬(230)의 회전방향으로 공기 유로를 확장시키는 "스크롤 하우징"으로서 이해될 수 있다.

상기 팬 하우징(201)은 상기 하우징 본체(210)와 상기 오리피스(220)의 인터페이스를 정의하는 결합부(202)를 포함하며, 상기 결합부(202)를 통하여 상기 하우징 본체(210)와 상기 오리피스(220)는 면접촉 할 수 있다.
상기 하우징 본체(210)와 상기 오리피스(220)의 접촉면은 상기 좌우방향 중심선(ℓo) 상에 위치할 수 있다.
이와 같은 구성에 의하면, 열교환기(180)와 팬(230)이 제습기의 전후 방향으로 대략 대칭된 위치에서 안정된 무게중심을 이루고, 팬(230)을 통과한 공기가 토출부(140)의 전체 영역에 걸쳐 고르게 배출되기에 용이할 수 있다.
도 5는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 제습기의 분해 사시도이다.
도 5를 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 제습기(10)는 흡입부(112)와 토출부(140)를 형성하는 제1케이스(110)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 흡입부(112)는 상기 제1케이스(110)의 후면에 형성되고, 상기 토출부(140)는 상기 제1케이스(110)의 상면에 형성될 수 있다.
상기 흡입부(112)를 통하여 흡입된 공기는 열교환기(180)와 팬(230)을 통과한 후 상방으로 유동하여 토출부(140)를 통하여 배출될 수 있다.
상기 토출부(140)에는 베인 조립체(142)가 장착될 수 있다. 상기 베인 조립체(142)는 상기 토출부(140)의 내주면에 맞춰 끼워지도록 원판의 형상을 가질 수 있다.
상기 베인 조립체(142)는 링 형상의 지지 림(143) 및 상기 지지 림(143)의 내측에 움직임 가능하게 제공되는 토출베인(145)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 토출베인(145)의 중앙부에는 좌우 방향으로 움직이는 베인링크(144)가 제공되어 상기 토출베인(145)의 움직임을 가이드 할 수 있다.
상기 제1케이스(110)의 내부에는 유동파트가 설치될 수 있다. 상기 유동파트는 상기 흡입부(112)의 내측에 배치되는 열교환기(180)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 열교환기(180)는 증발기(181)와, 상기 증발기(181) 출구측의 응축기(183) 및 상기 증발기(181)와 응축기(183) 측방의 배관부(185)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 유동파트는 상기 열교환기(180)의 출구측에 배치되며 팬 유로를 형성하는 팬 어셈블리(200)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 팬 어셈블리(200)의 구성에 대하여는 이후의 도면을 참조하여 상세하게 설명할 것이다.
상기 본체(100)의 내부에는, 유동파트와 구동파트를 상하로 분리하는 내부 프레임(150)이 설치될 수 있다. 상기 내부 프레임(150)은 열교환기(180)와 팬 어셈블리(200)를 지지하는 구획판(151)을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 구획판(151)은 상기 열교환기(180)의 하부를 지지하는 열교환기지지부(152a) 및 상기 팬 어셈블리(200)의 하부를 지지하는 팬지지부(152b)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 열교환기지지부(152a)와 상기 팬지지부(152b)는 전후 방향으로 구비될 수 있다.
상기 열교환기지지부(152a)는 열교환기(180)의 저면을 지지하는 지지브라켓(152d)을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 열교환기지지부(152a)에는, 상기 열교환기(180)에서 발생되는 응축수가 배출되는 배수포트(152c, 도 18 참조)가 형성될 수 있다.
상기 내부 프레임(150)은 상기 구획판(151)으로부터 하방으로 연장하는 제1격벽(153) 및 상기 제1격벽(153)으로부터 좌우 방향으로 이격되는 제2격벽(155)을 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1격벽(153)과 본체(100)의 사이에는 물통(130)이 위치하는 물통수용공간(157)이 형성될 수 있다. 상기 물통수용공간(157)은 제2측면부(104)에 인접하게 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제2격벽(155)과 본체(100) 사이에는 전장장치(170)가 위치하는 전장수용공간(158)이 형성될 수 있다. 상기 전장수용공간(158)은 제1측면부(103)에 인접하게 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제1,2격벽(153,155)의 사이에는 압축기(161)가 위치하는 압축기 수용공간(156)이 형성될 수 있다. 상기 압축기 수용공간(156)은 상기 물통수용공간(157)과 상기 전장수용공간(158)의 사이에 형성될 수 있다.
상기 제2케이스(120)의 내부에는 구동파트, 즉 물통(130), 압축기(161) 및 전장장치(170)가 수용되는 수용공간(122)이 형성될 수 있다. 상기한 바와 같이, 상기 물통(130), 압축기(161) 및 전장장치(170)는 좌우 방향으로 배열될 수 있다.
상기 제2케이스(120) 중에 제2측면부(104)를 형성하는 부분에는, 상기 물통(130)의 인출입을 위하여 측방으로 개방된 케이스개구부(123)가 형성될 수 있다. 상기 케이스개구부(123)는 상기 물통수용공간(157)과 연통될 수 있다.
상기 제2케이스(120)의 저면은 상기 물통(130), 압축기(161) 및 전장장치(170)를 지지하는 베이스(121)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 베이스(121)는 물통(130)을 지지하는 제1베이스파트와, 상기 압축기(161)를 지지하는 제2베이스파트 및 상기 전장장치(170)를 지지하는 제3베이스파트를 포함할 수 있다.

도 6 내지 도 10을 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 팬 어셈블리(200)는 팬(230)을 수용하며 후단부가 개방된 하우징 본체(210)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 하우징 본체(210)는 상기 팬(230)이 안착되는 팬 안착부(211)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 팬(230)의 회전을 위하여, 상기 팬(230)은 상기 팬 안착부(211)로부터 약간 이격하여 설치될 수 있다.
상기 팬 안착부(211)를 형성하는 면은 하우징 본체(210)의 "바닥면"을 형성할 수 있다.
상기 팬 안착부(211)의 대략 중앙부에는 팬 모터(237, 도 16 참조)를 지지하기 위한 모터 지지부(212)가 제공될 수 있다. 상기 모터 지지부(212)는 상기 팬 안착부(211)로부터 후방으로 돌출되며, 상기 팬 모터(237)의 외주를 둘러싸도록 링 형상을 가질 수 있다.
상기 하우징 본체(210)는 상기 팬(230)의 외주면을 둘러싸도록 팬의 원주 방향으로 연장하는 스크롤부(213)를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 스크롤부(213)는 팬(230)의 회전방향으로 팬 유로(205)가 확장(팽창)될 수 있도록, 상기 팬(230)의 중심으로부터 팬의 회전방향으로 점점 멀어지는 내주면을 포함할 수 있다. 일례로, 상기 스크롤부(213)는 볼류트(volute) 형상의 스크롤부를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 하우징 본체(210)는 상기 팬 안착부(211)에 연결되며 상기 팬 유로(205) 중 팬(230)의 하류측 유로(205b, 도 15 참조)를 형성하는 토출 가이드부(214)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 하류측 유로(205b)는 상기 토출부(140)에 연결되는 점에서 "토출측 유로"라 이름할 수 있다.
상기 팬(230)의 중심을 기준으로 상류측 유로(205a)와 상기 하류측 유로(205b)가 구분될 수 있다.
상기 토출 가이드부(214)는 상기 스크롤부(213)의 토출측 부분에 연결될 수 있다. 상기 스크롤부(213)의 토출측 부분은 상기 팬 유로(205)가 최대로 확장된 부분을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 토출 가이드부(214)는 하류측 유로(205b)의 면적을 증가시키도록 전방으로 함몰되도록 구성될 수 있다. 상기 함몰되는 크기만큼 하류측 유로(205b)의 면적이 증가될 수 있다. 상기 증가된 유로 면적에 의하여, 상기 토출부(140)로 배출될 공기의 충분한 유량을 확보할 수 있다.
상기 토출 가이드부(214)는 라운드지게 연장되는 만곡부를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 토출 가이드부(214)는 상기 토출부(204)의 형상(원형)에 대응하여, 상기 토출부(204)의 곡률반경에 대응하는 곡률반경을 가질 수 있다.
상기 토출 가이드부(214)의 단부는 상기 토출부(140)에 연결되는 제1토출파트(216)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제1토출파트(216)는 상기 스크롤부(213)의 끝단부에 형성될 수 있다.
상기 하우징 본체(210)는 상기 팬 안착부(211)와 상기 토출 가이드부(214)의 인터페이스를 정의하는 경계부(217)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 경계부(217)는 상기 팬 하우징(201)의 상하 방향으로 리니어하게 연장될 수 있다.
상기 경계부(217)를 기준으로, 상기 팬(230)과 상기 토출 가이드부(214)간의 거리는 상기 팬(230)과 상기 팬 안착부(211)간의 거리보다 크게 형성될 수 있다.
상기 하우징 본체(210)는 공기 유동의 토출과 재흡입의 경계면이 되는 컷오프부(215)를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 컷오프부(215)는 팬(230)의 중심을 지나는 상하방향의 중심선에 대하여 경사지게 형성될 수 있다. 상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 팬 유로(205)의 시작점을 정의할 수 있다. 상기 컷오프부(215)와 상기 팬(230) 사이의 거리는 상기 팬 유로(205) 중 가장 작은 폭에 대응될 수 있다.
상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 팬(230)의 회전방향을 기준으로, 상기 스크롤부(213)가 시작되는 부분 및 상기 경계부(217)가 형성되는 부분에 걸쳐 배치될 수 있다.
일례로, 상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 경계부(217)와 연결되는 제1단부(215a) 및 상기 스크롤부(213)가 시작되는 부분과 연결되는 제2단부(215b)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제1단부(215a)는 상기 컷오프부(215)의 경사진 형상 중 상기 토출 가이드부(214)에 가장 인접한 단부로서 이해될 수 있다. 상기 경계부(217)는 상기 단부(215a)를 시작점으로 하여, 상기 팬 하우징(201)의 하방으로 연장할 수 있다.
상기 토출 가이드부(214)의 상단은 상기 컷오프부(215)의 상단에 대응할 수 있다. 상기 토출 가이드부(214)의 상단에는 베인 조립체(142)가 안착되며, 상기 베인 조립체(142)의 토출베인(145)은 상기 토출부(140)를 개방 또는 폐쇄하도록 작동할 수 있다.
상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 하우징 본체(210)의 내면으로부터 상기 팬(230)을 향하여 샤프하게 돌출하도록 구성될 수 있다. 일례로, 상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 하우징 본체(210)의 내면으로부터 상대적으로 작은 곡률반경을 가지고 돌출될 수 있다.
상기 컷오프부(215)의 곡률반경은 상기 하우징 본체(210)의 내면이 팬(230)의 회전방향으로 연장하는 곡률반경보다 작게 형성될 수 있다.
또한, 상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 팬(230)의 중심을 기준으로 상기 상류측 유로(205a) 보다 하류측 유로(205b)로 편심하여 배치될 수 있다.
이와 같은 구성에 의하면, 상기 컷오프부(215)가 돌출되는 구성에 의하여 상기 팬(230)에서 토출되는 공기, 즉 하류측 유로(205b)를 유동하는 공기가 상기 팬(230)의 흡입측으로 재흡입되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
특히, 원형 토출부(140) 및 원형 토출파트(216,226)를 형성하는 본 발명의 구조상, 부드럽게 라운드진 토출측 부분의 곡면을 따라 팬(230)으로의 재흡입이 발생하고 유동 저항이 증가하는 문제점이 발생할 수 있다.
그러나, 상기 컷오프부(215)가 팬(230)의 중심을 기준으로 토출측 유로를 향하여 편심되고 하우징 본체(210)의 내면으로부터 샤프하게 돌출하도록 구성됨에 따라 이러한 문제점을 방지할 수 있다.
상기 팬 어셈블리(200)는 상기 하우징 본체(210)의 개방된 단부의 일부분을 덮는 오리피스(220)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 오리피스(220)는 상기 하우징 본체(210)의 전방에 결합될 수 있다.
상기 오리피스(220)는 열교환기(180)를 거친 공기가 흡입되는 흡입구(223)를 형성하는 오리피스 본체(221)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 흡입구(223)는 상기 팬(230)의 축방향 일측에 형성되며, 대략 원형의 형상을 가질 수 있다.
상기 오리피스(220)는 상기 오리피스 본체(221)의 상단에 제공되며 상기 하우징 본체(210)의 제1토출파트(216)와 맞춰지는 제2토출파트(226)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제1,2토출파트(216,226)가 조립되면, 상기 토출부(140)와 대응하는 형상(원형)을 가지는 토출파트를 구성할 수 있다.
상기 제1토출파트(216) 및 상기 제2토출파트(226)가 조립된 부분에는, 베인 조립체(142)가 장착될 수 있다. 상기 제1,2토출부(216,226)의 상단에 상기 베인 조립체(142)가 안착될 수 있다.
상기 오리피스(220)는 상기 흡입구(223)의 상부에 제공되며 상기 열교환기(180)의 상단을 지지하는 상부지지판(228)이 제공될 수 있다. 상기 열교환기(180)는 상기 상부지지판(228)과 상기 구획판(151) 사이의 공간에 배치될 수 있다.
상기 상부지지판(228)은 상기 팬(230)을 통과한 공기가 상기 토출부(140)를 향하여 배출되는 하류측 유로(205b)의 일부분과 대응되는 위치에 배치될 수 있다. 다른 관점에서, 상기 상부지지판(228)은 컷오프부(215)와 대응되는 위치에 배치될 수 있다.
상기 오리피스(220)는 상기 흡입구(223)의 양측에 제공되며 상기 열교환기(180)의 좌측단부 및 우측단부를 지지하는 측지지판(229a,229b)이 제공될 수 있다. 상기 측지지판(229a,229b)은 상기 흡입구(223)의 좌측에 배치되는 제1측지지판(229a) 및 상기 흡입구(223)의 우측에 배치되는 제2측지지판(229b)을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 열교환기(180)는 상기 상부지지판(228)과 상기 제1,2측지지판(229a,229b)에 의하여 정의되는 공간 내에 배치될 수 있다. 상기 열교환기(180)는 지지판(228,229a,229b)에 의하여 상기 흡입구(223)의 전방에 안정적으로 지지될 수 있다.
상기 제1,2측지지판(229a,229b) 사이의 거리는 상기 흡입구(223)의 직경보다 크게 형성될 수 있다. 따라서, 상기 제1,2측지지판(229a,229b) 사이에 제공되는 열교환기(180)는 상기 흡입구(223)를 덮도록 배치될 수 있다.
상기 오리피스(220)는 상기 상부지지판(228)으로부터 상기 제2토출파트(226)를 향하여 공기의 토출면적을 증가시키는 방향으로 확장되는 챔퍼부(227, chamfer portion)를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 챔퍼부(227)는 상기 하류측 유로(205b)를 통하여 배출되는 공기가 상기 토출부(140)를 향하여 팽창하여 토출될 수 있도록, 상방을 향하여 확장된 유로 단면적을 가질 수 있다.
일례로, 상기 챔퍼부(227)는 상기 챔퍼부(227)의 하단부로부터 상방을 향하여 깔때기 형상으로 확장하도록 구성될 수 있다.
상세히, 상기 챔퍼부(227)는 상기 챔퍼부(227)의 내부 유로 중 가장 작은 유로 단면적을 정의하는 챔퍼하단부(227a) 및 상기 챔퍼부(227)의 내부 유로 중 가장 큰 유로 단면적을 정의하는 챔퍼상단부(227b)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 챔퍼부(227)는, 상기 챔퍼하단부(227a)로부터 상기 챔퍼상단부(227b)를 향하여 상하 방향의 기준선에 대하여 제1각도(α1)만큼 경사지게 연장할 수 있다.
상기 챔퍼부(227)는 상기 상부지지판(228)으로부터 제2토출파트(226)를 향하여 유로 단면적을 증가하도록 확장된 형상을 가지도록 구성될 수 있다.
이를 위하여, 상기 챔퍼부(227)의 챔퍼하단부(227a)는 상기 상부지지판(228)과 대응되는 위치에 형성되며, 일례로 상기 상부지지판(228)에 연결될 수 있다.
상기 챔퍼부(227)의 챔퍼상단부(227b)는 제2토출파트(226)에 연결될 수 있다. 즉, 상기 챔퍼상단부(227)에서의 유로 단면적은 상기 제2토출파트(226)의 유로 단면적에 대응될 수 있다. 이와 같은 구성에 의하여, 토출되는 공기의 토출면적을 증대시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다.
상기 팬 어셈블리(200)는 상기 하우징 본체(210)와 상기 오리피스(220)가 정의하는 공간에 설치되는 팬(230)을 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 팬(230)은 축방향으로 공기를 흡입하여 반경 방향으로 토출하는 원심팬을 포함할 수 있다. 일례로, 상기 원심팬은 시로코 팬을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 팬(230)은 팬모터(237)의 모터축에 결합하는 주판(231)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 주판(231)은 일례로, 원판 형상을 가질 수 있다.
상기 팬(230)은 상기 주판(231)의 대략 중심부에 배치되며 상기 팬(230)에 회전력을 제공하는 허브(232)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 허브(232)는 상기 모터축이 결합되는 축 결합부(232a)를 포함할 수 있다.

도 11 및 도 12를 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 하우징 본체(210)의 내면(210a)과 팬(230)의 외주면 사이에는 팬 유로(205)가 형성될 수 있다.
상기 팬(230)으로 흡입된 공기가 팬(230)의 회전방향으로 유로 확장되면서 유동할 수 있도록, 상기 하우징 본체(210)는 스크롤부(213)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 스크롤부(213)는 상기 하우징 본체(210)의 외주면부를 형성할 수 있다.
상기 스크롤부(213)의 시작점은 상기 스크롤부(213)와 상기 팬(230) 사이의 거리가 가장 짧은 지점으로서 이해될 수 있다. 상기 스크롤부(213)의 시작점에는 상기 토출부(140)를 향하는 공기가 상기 팬(230)으로 재흡입 되는 것을 방지하도록 컷오프부(215)가 제공될 수 있다.

상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 팬(230)을 향하여 가까워지는 방향으로, 그리고 하우징 본체(210)의 토출 가이드부(214)에 가까워지는 방향 및 제1토출파트(216)에 가까워지는 방향으로 연장하는 3차원 형상을 가질 수 있다.
상세히, 상기 컷오프부(215)는 경계부(217)에 연결되는 제1단부(215a) 및 상기 팬(230)의 외주면으로부터의 거리가 가장 짧은 부분을 가지는 제2단부(215b)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제2단부(215b)는 상기 컷오프부(215)가 돌출된 형상 중 가장 많이 돌출된 부분을 형성할 수 있다.
이를 위하여, 상기 제2단부(215b)는 상기 하우징 본체(210)의 내면(210a)을 기준으로 가장 많이 돌출된, 컷오프부(215)의 최대 두께(Wc)를 형성할 수 있다. 그리고, 상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 제2단부(215b)의 양측으로 두께가 얇아지는 형상을 가질 수 있다.
상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 제1단부(215a)로부터 상기 제2단부(215b)의 사이에서 연장하는 유동 가이드파트를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 유동 가이드파트는 토출파트(216,226)를 향하여 토출되는 공기의 유동방향을 기준으로 선단부(가장 먼저 닿는 부분)를 형성하는 제1곡면부(215c)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제1곡면부(215c)는 팬(230)의 회전방향을 기준으로 공기의 팽창이 시작되는 부분을 정의할 수 있다.
상기 유동 가이드파트는 상기 제1곡면부(215c)로부터 토출파트(216,226)를 향하는 방향으로 리니어하게 연장하는 직면부(215d)를 더 포함할 수 있다. 상기 직면부(215d)는 토출되는 공기가 제1곡면부(215c)를 향하여 말려 들어가지 않고 토출부(140)를 향하여 상방 유동할 수 있도록 가이드 하는 기능을 수행할 수 있다.
상기 유동 가이드파트는 상기 직면부(215d)로부터 공기가 토출되는 방향으로 라운드지게 연장하는 제2곡면부(215e)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 제2곡면부(215e)는 상기 제1토출파트(216)에 연결될 수 있다. 상기 제2곡면부(215e)는 제1토출파트(216)와 컷오프(215)를 매끄럽게 연결하여 유동 저항을 줄이는 기능을 수행할 수 있다.
상기 제1곡면부(215c)의 곡률반경과 제2곡면부(215e)의 곡률반경은 상이하게 형성될 수 있다.
상기 하우징 본체(210)는, 상기 토출파트(216,226)에서의 유로 단면적을 증가시키는 방향으로 라운드지게 연장하는 토출 가이드부(214)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 토출 가이드부(214)는 상기 경계부(217)에 의하여 팬 안착부(211)와 구분될 수 있다.
상기 팬 안착부(211)는 상기 팬(230)의 안착을 위하여 편평한 플레이트 형상을 가질 수 있다.
반면에, 상기 토출 가이드부(214)는 하류측 유로(205b)에 배치되어 토출되는 공기의 유로 면적을 증가시키도록 상기 팬(230)으로부터 멀어지는 방향으로 함몰되는 형상을 가질 수 있다.
상기 토출 가이드부(214)의 상단부는 제1토출파트(216)를 형성할 수 있다. 상기 토출부(140)와 상기 제1,2토출파트(216,226)는 원형의 형상을 가지므로, 상기 토출 가이드부(214)는 상기 토출부(140)와 상기 제1토출파트(216)와 동일한 곡률반경을 가지도록 구성될 수 있다.
도 12를 참조하면, 상기 하우징 본체(210) 중 상기 토출 가이드부(214)를 형성하는 부분의 전후방향 폭은 상기 팬 안착부(211)를 형성하는 부분의 전후방향 폭보다 클 수 있다.
상세히, 하우징 본체(210)를 상방에서 바라 보았을 때, 상기 토출 가이드부(214) 및 제1토출파트(216)는 제1높이(△H1)만큼 팬 안착부(211)보다 전방으로 더 돌출될 수 있다. 상기 더 돌출되는 제1높이에 대응하여, 토출 유로의 단면적이 증가하는 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
상기 제1토출파트(216)는 대략 반원 형상을 가질 수 있다. 그리고, 오리피스(220)의 제2토출파트(226) 또한 대략 반원 형상을 가지며, 상기 제1,2토출파트(216,226)가 결합하여 원형의 토출파트(216,226)를 형성할 수 있다.
반원 형상을 가지는 제1토출파트(216)는 토출부(140)의 제1만곡부(140a)측에 인접하게 위치하는 제1파트단부(216a) 및 상기 컷오프부(215)와 인접하게 위치하는 제2파트단부(216b)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제2파트단부(216b)와 제습기(10)의 중심 사이의 거리는, 상기 제1파트단부(216a)와 제습기(10)의 중심 사이의 거리보다 짧게 형성될 수 있다. 그리고, 상기 제1,2파트단부(216a216b) 사이의 거리는 토출파트(216,226) 및 토출부(140)의 지름에 대응할 수 있다.
이와 같이, 원형의 토출부에 대응하여 라운드진 제1,2토출파트(216,226)를 구성하고 컷오프부(215)를 라운드진 제1,2토출파트(216,226)의 일측 단부에 위치하여 배치함으로써, 공기의 토출 면적을 증가시키고 팬으로의 재흡입을 방지할 수 있다.
도 13은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 오리피스의 후면 구성을 보여주는 도면이고, 도 14는 도 6의 14-14를 따라 절개한 단면도이다.
도 13 및 도 14를 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 오리피스(220)는 토출되는 공기가 팬의 흡입측으로 역류하는 것을 방지하는 회풍 방지구조를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 회풍 방지구조는 흡입구(223)를 따라 공기의 흡입방향으로 돌출하는 가이드 리브(224)를 포함할 수 있다.
상세히, 상기 오리피스(220)는 팬 하우징(201)의 전면 외관을 형성하는 오리피스 본체(221)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 오리피스 본체(221)의 테두리부에는 하우징 본체(210)와 조립되는 조립 리브(225)가 제공될 수 있다. 상기 조립 리브(225)는 상기 오리피스 본체(221)로부터 상기 오리피스(220)의 후방으로 돌출할 수 있다.
상기 오리피스 본체(221)는 흡입구(223)를 형성하는 벨마우스(222)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 벨마우스(222)는 상기 흡입구(223)의 주변 영역으로서 이해되며, 상기 흡입구(223)를 향하여 공기가 부드럽게 흡입될 수 있도록 소정의 곡률을 가지는 라운드부를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 벨마우스(222)의 이면에는 흡입구(223)를 둘러싸도록 링 형상을 가지며, 팬(230)의 축방향으로 돌출하는 가이드 리브(224)가 제공될 수 있다.
상기 가이드 리브(224)는 상기 팬(230)의 외주면 일부를 차폐하도록 배치될 수 있다. 따라서, 상기 가이드 리브(224)는 공기가 팬(230)의 외주면 측으로 유동하는 것을 차단할 수 있다.
상기 가이드 리브(224)의 구성에 의하여, 상기 팬(230)으로부터 토출되는 공기가 팬(230)의 흡입구(223) 주변에서 상기 팬(230)으로 재흡입되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
도 15는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 팬 하우징의 스크롤부 및 컷오프부의 구성을 보여주는 도면이고, 도 16은 도 15의 16-16을 따라 절개한 단면도이고, 도 17은 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 팬의 회전방향으로 스크롤 팽창각도의 증가에 따라 변화되는 유로 면적을 보여주는 그래프이다.
도 15 및 도 16을 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 팬 하우징(201)은 팬 유로를 형성할 수 있다. 상기 팬 유로는 상기 팬(230)의 중심을 지나는 상하 방향 의 중심선(ℓ3)을 기준으로 구분되는 상류측 유로(205a) 및 하류측 유로(205b)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 상류측 유로(205a)는 팬(230)으로 흡입된 공기가 팽창하기 시작하는 유로로서 "흡입측 유로"로 이해되며, 상기 하류측 유로(205b)는 팬(230)의 회전방향으로 팽창이 이루어져 토출되기 시작하는 "토출측 유로"로서 이해될 수 있다.
상기 팬(230)의 중심을 지나는 중심선(ℓ3)을 기준으로, 컷오프부(215)는 상기 하류측 유로(205b)로 편심하여 배치될 수 있다.
상기 컷오프부(215)가 상기 하류측 유로(205b)에서 상기 팬(230)의 중심을 지나는 중심선(ℓ3)을 넘어가는 위치, 즉 상류측 유로(205a)에 배치되지 않음으로써 팬으로의 공기 재흡입이 방지될 수 있다.
이는, 원형 토출부(140)가 제습기 상면의 측단부측으로 편심하여 배치되는 것에 따라, 공기의 토출과 재흡입의 경계를 정의하는 컷오프부(215)를 하류측 유로(205b)에 가깝게 배치할 수 있기 때문이다.
상기 팬(230)의 중심과 상기 컷오프부(215)를 연결하는 제1중심선(ℓ51)을 정의할 수 있고, 상기 제1중심선(ℓ51)의 위치를 기준각도(0도)의 위치라 이름할 수 있다.
상기 제1중심선(ℓ51)은 위치상 하류측 유로(205b)에 위치하는 것으로 볼 수 있으나, 상기 컷오프부(215)가 위치하는 영역이므로 팬(230)의 흡입이 시작되는 위치로서도 이해될 수 있다.
상기 제1중심선(ℓ51)을 팬(230)의 회전방향으로 소정 각도(α) 만큼 회전시켜 경계부(217)와 만나기 시작하는 스크롤부(213)의 일 지점에서 제2중심선(ℓ52)을 정의할 수 있다.
그리고, 상기 제2중심선(ℓ52)을 팬(230)의 회전방향으로 계속 회전시켜 컷오프부(215)의 상단부와 대응하는 높이에서 스크롤부(213)와 만나는 제3중심선(ℓ53)을 정의할 수 있다.
상기 제2,3중심선(ℓ52,ℓ53)은 하류측 유로(205b)를 정의하는 스크롤부(213)와 만날 수 있다. 그리고, 상기 제1중심선(ℓ51)에서 상기 제3중심선(ℓ53)을 향하는 방향으로 공기의 팽창이 이루어질 수 있다.
일례로, 상기 제2중심선(ℓ52)은 상기 기준각도 위치로부터 대략 210~230도의 범위에 형성되고, 상기 제3중심선(ℓ53)은 상기 기준각도 위치로부터 대략 300~320도의 범위에 형성될 수 있다.
도 17을 참조하면, 그래프의 가로축은 제1중심선(ℓ51)에 대응하는 기준각도 위치로부터 팬(230)의 회전방향으로 증가하는 팽창 각도(α)를 나타내며, 세로축은 변화하는 팽창 각도에 따라 증가하는 유로 면적을 나타낸다.
팬(230)에 흡입되기 시작하는 기준각도 위치에서의 면적은 2,000(mm2) 이하이며, 이후 상기 팽창각도는 지속적으로 증가한다.
이 때, 제2중심선(ℓ52)에 대응하는 팽창 각도에서, 면적이 급격하게 증가하기 시작하며 제3중심선(ℓ52)에 대응하는 팽창 각도까지 그 증가량이 매우 큰 것을 알 수 있다.
이는, 상기에서 설명한 토출면적의 증가 및 팬으로의 재흡입 방지를 위하여, 컷오프부(215), 토출 가이드부(217) 및 챔퍼부(227)의 구조에 기인한 것으로 볼 수 있다.
도 18은 도 1의 18-18을 따라 절개한 단면도이고, 도 19는 도 1의 19-19을 따라 절개한 단면도이다.
도 18 및 도 19를 참조하면, 상기 팬 유로(205)의 상류측 유로(205a) 및 하류측 유로(205b)는 상기 팬(230)의 중심을 지나는 상하방향 중심선(ℓ3)에 대하여 서로 반대편에 형성될 수 있다.
상기 컷오프부(215)의 중심을 지나는 상하방향의 중심선(ℓ5)은 상기 팬(230)의 중심을 지나는 상하방향의 중심선(ℓ3)과 상기 토출부(140)의 중심을 지나는 상하방향의 중심선(ℓ4)의 사이에 위치할 수 있다.
상기 상면부(105)의 좌우방향 중심을 상하 방향으로 지나는 중심선(ℓc')은 상기 팬(230)의 중심을 지나는 중심선(ℓ3)과 상기 컷오프부(215)의 중심을 상하 방향으로 지나는 중심선(ℓ5)의 사이에 위치할 수 있다.
상기 하류측 유로(205b)는 상기 팬(230)의 측방에서 상방으로 연장하여 상기 베인 조립체(142)에 연결될 수 있다. 상기 하류측 유로(205b)의 최상단은 하우징 본체(210)의 제1토출파트(216) 및 오리피스(220)의 제2토출파트(226)를 정의하며, 상기 베인 조립체(142)는 상기 제1토출파트(216)에 결합될 수 있다.
상기 제1토출파트(216) 및 제2토출파트(226)가 정의하는 토출파트의 유로 폭(w1)은 상기 하류측 유로(205b)의 최대 폭을 형성할 수 있다.
상기 토출파트의 직상방에는 토출부(140)가 위치될 수 있다. 그리고, 상기 토출부(140)의 유로 폭(w2)은 상기 토출파트(216,226)의 유로 폭(w1)과 실질적으로 동일할 수 있다.
상기 토출부(140)의 중심은 상기 토출파트(216,226)의 중심과 동심을 이룰 수 있다.
일례로, 상기 토출부(140)는 원형 토출부를 구성하고, 상기 토출파트는 원형의 형상을 가질 수 있으므로, 상기 폭(w1,w2)은 각각 원형의 지름으로 정의될 수 있다. 이와 같은 구성에 의하면, 상기 토출파트를 지난 공기는 상기 토출부(140)를 통하여 집중적으로 배출될 수 있다.
상기 하류측 유로(205b)와 상기 상류측 유로(205a)의 인터페이스 영역에는, 상기 하류측 유로(205b)를 통하여 배출되는 공기가 상기 상류측 유로(205a)로 재흡입되는 것을 방지하도록 컷오프부(215)가 제공될 수 있다.
상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 경계부(217)에 연결되는 제1단부(215a) 및 상기 상류측 유로(205a)의 시작점을 정의하는 제2단부(215b)를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 컷오프부(215)는 상기 제1단부(215a)로부터 상기 제2단부(215b)를 향하여, 상하방향의 기준선에 대하여 경사지게 연장될 수 있다.
제습기의 공기 유동에 대하여 설명한다.
상기 팬 모터(237)가 구동하여 팬(230)이 회전하면, 외부의 공기는 상기 흡입부(112)를 통하여 제습기의 내부로 흡입될 수 있다. 흡입된 공기는 열교환기(180)를 통과할 수 있다.
상세히, 공기는 열교환기(180) 중 먼저 증발기(181)를 통과하여 냉각되고 이 과정에서 발생되는 응축수는 열교환기지지부(152a)의 배수 포트(152c)를 통하여 물통(130)으로 낙하할 수 있다.
상기 증발기(181)를 통과한 공기는 상기 증발기(181)의 하류측에 배치되는 응축기(183)를 통과하면서 가열될 수 있다. 상기 응축기(183)를 지난 공기는 팬(230)의 축방향으로 흡입되며, 팬(230)의 블레이드(234)를 지나 반경방향으로 배출될 수 있다.
상기 배출된 공기는 스크롤부(213)와 팬(230) 사이의 팬 유로(205)를 지나면서 팬(230)의 회전방향으로 유동하고 팽창될 수 있다. 공기는 토출 가이드부(214)를 지나면서 확장된 유로를 지날 수 있으며, 이 과정에서 충분한 유량을 확보할 수 있다.
상기 토출 가이드부(214)를 지나는 공기는 컷오프부(215)에 의하여 재흡입되는 것이 방지되며, 상기 토출부(140)로의 배출이 용이하게 이루어질 수 있다.
한편, 오리피스(220)에 구비되는 챔퍼부(227)에 의하여, 토출측 유로의 면적이 증가될 수 있다. 상기 챔퍼부(227)는 상기 토출 가이드부(214)를 마주보는 위치에 제공되고, 상방을 향하여 유로 단면적을 증가시키도록 경사지게 연장될 수 있다.
이와 같은 구성에 의하면, 팬(230)의 토출측 유로의 면적을 증가함으로써 토출유량을 확보할 수 있고, 상기 토출측 유로에 연결되는 토출부(140)를 통하여 집중적인 공기의 토출이 가능할 수 있다. 결국, 건조 대상물에 대한 제습성능이 향상될 수 있다.
위에서 제습기의 각 부품에 대하여, 부품의 중심을 지나는 가상의 선을 "중심선"이라 칭하였으나, 설명의 편의를 위하여 "연장선"이라 이름할 수도 있을 것이다.
본 발명은 제습기에 관한 것으로서, 팬에서 토출되는 기류가 집중적으로 발생하여 기류의 유속을 증가시키고 토출성능을 개선할 수 있으므로 산업상 이용가능성이 현저하다.

Claims (20)

  1. 흡입부가 형성되는 후면부 및 토출부가 형성되는 상면부를 포함하는 본체;
    상기 본체의 내부에 구비되며, 상기 흡입부를 통하여 흡입된 공기와 열교환 하는 열교환기;
    상기 열교환기의 출구측에 배치되며, 상기 열교환기를 지난 공기를 축방향으로 흡입하고 반경방향으로 토출하는 팬; 및
    상기 팬을 수용하는 팬 하우징을 포함하고,
    상기 팬 하우징은,
    상기 팬의 외주면을 둘러싸도록 배치되며, 상기 팬의 중심을 기준으로 흡입측 유로 및 토출측 유로로 구분되는 팬 유로를 형성하는 스크롤부;
    상기 스크롤부의 단부를 형성하며, 상기 토출부에 연결되는 토출파트; 및
    상기 토출파트를 향하는 공기가 상기 흡입측 유로로 재흡입되지 않도록, 상기 팬의 중심으로부터 상기 토출측 유로의 방향으로 편심하여 배치되는 컷오프부를 포함하는 제습기.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 토출부 및 상기 컷오프부는,
    상기 컷오프부의 중심을 상하방향으로 지나는 제1중심선이, 상기 팬의 중심을 상하방향으로 지나는 제2중심선과 상기 토출부의 중심을 상하방향으로 지나는 제3중심선의 사이에 위치하도록 구성되는 제습기.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 팬 하우징은,
    상기 팬이 안착되는 팬 안착부; 및
    상기 토출측 유로를 정의하며, 공기의 토출면적이 증가하는 방향으로 상기 팬 안착부로부터 함몰되는 토출 가이드부를 포함하는 제습기.
  4. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 하우징 본체 중, 상기 토출 가이드부를 형성하는 부분의 전후방향 폭은 상기 팬 안착부를 형성하는 부분의 전후방향 폭보다 크게 형성되는 제습기.
  5. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 토출부는 설정된 곡률을 가지도록 구성되고,
    상기 토출 가이드부는 상기 토출부의 곡률과 실질적으로 동일한 곡률을 가지도록 라운드지게 연장하는 제습기.
  6. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 토출파트는 상기 토출 가이드부의 단부를 형성하고, 상기 토출부 및 상기 토출파트는 원형으로 구성되는 제습기.
  7. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 팬 하우징은 상기 팬 안착부와 상기 토출 가이드부의 인터페이스를 형성하는 경계부를 포함하고,
    상기 컷오프부는 상기 경계부에 직접 연결되는 제습기.
  8. 제7항에 있어서,
    상기 컷오프부는 상기 경계부와 연결되는 제1단부 및 상기 팬의 회전방향을 기준으로 상기 스크롤부가 시작되는 부분과 연결되는 제2단부를 포함하는 제습기.
  9. 제8항에 있어서,
    상기 제2단부는, 상기 컷오프부 중에서 상기 팬의 외주면과 가장 가깝게 위치되는 부분을 포함하는 제습기.
  10. 제8항에 있어서,
    상기 컷오프부는 상기 제1단부로부터 상기 제2단부까지 컷오프 기준선(ℓf)을 따라 연장하며,
    상기 컷오프 기준선(ℓf)은 상기 팬의 중심을 전후 방향으로 지나는 제1중심선(ℓ3) 및 상기 팬의 측단부를 전후 방향으로 지나는 제2중심선(ℓ2)과 서로 교차하도록 형성되는 제습기.
  11. 제8항에 있어서,
    상기 컷오프부는 상기 제1단부로부터 상기 제2단부의 사이에서 연장하는 유동 가이드파트를 포함하고,
    상기 유동 가이드파트는,
    상기 토출파트를 향하여 토출되는 공기의 유동방향을 기준으로 선단부를 형성하는 제1곡면부;
    상기 제1곡면부로부터 상기 토출파트를 향하는 방향으로 리니어하게 연장하는 직면부; 및
    상기 직면부로부터 공기가 토출되는 방향으로 라운드지게 연장하며, 제1곡면부와 다른 곡률반경을 가지는 제2곡면부를 포함하는 제습기.
  12. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 팬 하우징은 상기 팬의 안착부를 가지는 하우징 본체 및 상기 하우징 본체에 결합되며 팬 흡입구를 형성하는 오리피스를 포함하고,
    상기 오리피스는, 상기 토출측 유로에 구비되며 공기의 토출면적을 증가하는 방향으로 경사지게 연장하는 챔퍼부를 포함하는 제습기.
  13. 제12항에 있어서,
    상기 챔퍼부는 깔때기 형상을 가지는 제습기.
  14. 제12항에 있어서,
    상기 오리피스는 상기 열교환기를 지지하도록 상기 열교환기를 향하여 돌출하는 지지판을 포함하고, 상기 챔퍼부는 상기 지지판으로부터 상기 토출파트를 향하여 연장하는 제습기.
  15. 제14항에 있어서,
    상기 오리피스는 상기 팬의 축방향으로 돌출하는 가이드 리브를 포함하고,
    상기 가이드 리브는, 상기 팬으로부터 토출된 공기가 상기 팬의 외주면 측으로 재흡입 하는 것을 차단하도록 상기 흡입구를 둘러싸도록 배치되는 제습기.
  16. 흡입부가 형성되는 후면부 및 토출부가 형성되는 상면부를 포함하는 본체;
    상기 본체의 내부에 구비되며, 상기 흡입부를 통하여 흡입된 공기와 열교환 하는 열교환기;
    상기 열교환기의 출구측에 배치되며, 상기 열교환기를 지난 공기를 축방향으로 흡입하고 반경방향으로 토출하는 팬; 및
    상기 팬을 수용하는 팬 하우징을 포함하고,
    상기 팬 하우징은,
    상기 팬이 놓여지는 팬 안착부;
    상기 팬의 외주면을 둘러싸도록 배치되며, 상기 팬의 중심을 기준으로 흡입측 유로 및 토출측 유로로 구분되는 팬 유로를 형성하는 스크롤부; 및
    상기 토출측 유로를 정의하도록 상기 스크롤부로부터 연장되며, 유로 단면적이 증가하는 방향으로 상기 팬 안착부로부터 함몰되는 토출 가이드부를 포함하고,
    상기 토출 가이드부는 상기 토출부에 유동적으로 연결되는 제습기.
  17. 제16항에 있어서,
    상기 토출 가이드부는 상기 팬으로부터의 거리가 멀어지는 방향으로 함몰 형성되는 제습기.
  18. 제16항에 있어서,
    상기 팬 하우징은, 상기 스크롤부 및 상기 토출 가이드부의 단부를 형성하며 상기 팬 하우징으로부터 공기를 배출하는 토출파트를 더 포함하고,
    상기 토출파트 및 상기 토출부는 공기의 집중 토출이 가능하도록 실질적으로 서로 동일한 폭을 가지고 결합되는 제습기.
  19. 제18항에 있어서,
    상기 토출파트 및 상기 토출부는 동일한 중심을 가지고, 원형의 형상으로 이루어지는 제습기.
  20. 제18항에 있어서,
    상기 팬 하우징은,
    상기 팬 안착부와 상기 토출 가이드부의 인터페이스를 형성하는 경계부; 및
    상기 경계부에 연결되는 단부를 포함하고, 상기 토출측 유로의 공기가 상기 흡입측 유로로 재흡입되는 것을 방지하는 컷오프부를 더 포함하는 제습기.
