- the bulky silyl group included in the compounds represented by chemical formulas 1 to 3 of the present specification has a structural feature that stabilizes excited and polaronic states by participating in the conjugation system through the hyperconjugation effect.
- luminescence is induced through the Förster energy transfer process to a singlet, and the stress on a non-radiative triplet is reduced, so that efficiency can be improved and the lifespan can be improved.
- the chemical formula 6 having a narrow half-width exhibits a high color purity effect when included in an organic layer of an organic light-emitting device.
- Figure 1 illustrates an organic light-emitting device according to one embodiment of the present specification.
- FIG. 2 illustrates an organic light-emitting device according to one embodiment of the present specification.
- the energy transfer process can be represented as shown in the table above.
- An excited host molecule containing both singlet and triplet excitons is formed, which induces energy transfer to phosphor through the Förster and Dexter energy transfer processes.
- the singlet of phosphor can be converted into a triplet by the ISC process (black line).
- the triplet of phosphor generates a large amount of singlet excitons of the fluorescent emitter through the Förster energy transfer process (purple line). This is because the Förster energy transfer dominates the energy transfer process to the emitter due to the spatial separation of the phosphor and the emitter since the doping concentration of the fluorescent emitter is low. Therefore, the accumulated triplet generation due to the Dexter energy transfer (blue line) is reduced compared to the case where there is no phosphor or fluorescent emitter, which improves the device efficiency and lifespan.
