態様3.上記の態様1又は2において、前記第一表示画面の前記メータ表示部の数と、前記第二表示画面の前記メータ表示部の数とが同一であることが好ましい。
態様6.上記の態様4又は5において、前記メータ表示モード以外の他の表示モードを備え、前記メータ表示モードの画面サイズが前記第一縮小サイズ又は前記第二縮小サイズである場合に、前記他の表示モードを前記第一縮小サイズ及び前記第二縮小サイズの少なくとも一方の画面サイズで前記メータ表示モードと共に同一画面に表示することが好ましい。
図1は、実施例としての表示装置1の構成を示すブロック図である。この表示装置1は、図示しない車両に搭載され、車両に関する様々なコンテンツ情報を表示する装置である。コンテンツ情報には、例えば、車両の物理的な情報,車両の出力に関する情報,車両の操作に関する情報,車両のドライブスコアに関する情報,外気温や時刻などが含まれる。
表示装置1は、出力装置3に表示される情報の表示モード(表示態様)として、少なくとも、上述したコンテンツ情報をメータ表示部10(例えば図2参照)に表現するメータ表示モード4を備える。なお、表示装置1が、上述したその他の情報を表示する他の表示モード5を備えていてもよい。
メータ表示モード4は、予め設定されたプリセット表示画面6(第一表示画面)と、車両のユーザ(表示装置1の利用者)により設定されたカスタマイズ表示画面7(第二表示画面)とを有する。
図2に示すプリセット表示画面6Aでは、物理的な車両の状態という関連性を持つ。このプリセット表示画面6Aは、例えば、車両の三次元の位置情報(緯度,経度,高度)やGPS測位数等を示すメータ表示部10(図中左)と、車両の傾斜角度(前後傾斜角度,左右傾斜角度)を示すメータ表示部10(図中中央)と、進行方向の方位及び外気温を示すメータ表示部10(図中右)とが同一画面に並んで表示される。なお、上記の物理情報は、物理的な車両の状態という関連性を持つ情報である。このため、図2のプリセット表示画面6Aに、上記の物理情報を示すメータ表示部10が含まれてよい。
本実施形態のプリセット表示画面6(6A~6D)では、三つのメータ表示部10が横一直線かつ互いに重ならないよう隙間をあけて等間隔で表示される。
表示装置1は、ユーザの画面切替操作によりプリセット表示画面6とカスタマイズ表示画面7とを切り替え可能である。なお、複数種類のプリセット表示画面6A~6Eが用意されている場合には、プリセット表示画面6A~6Eの切り替えも、ユーザの画面切替操作により可能である。
(1)上述した表示装置1は、予め設定され、複数のメータ表示部10のうち互いに所定の関連性を持つ二つ以上のメータ表示部10を同一画面に並べて表示するプリセット表示画面6(第一表示画面)と、複数のメータ表示部10の中からユーザが任意に選択したメータ表示部10を表示するカスタマイズ表示画面7(第二表示画面)と、を有し、ユーザの画面切替操作によりプリセット表示画面6とカスタマイズ表示画面7とが切り替わる。このように、予め設定されたプリセット表示画面6と、ユーザが任意に設定可能なカスタマイズ表示画面7とを備え、これらの表示画面6,7をユーザの画面切替操作により切り替えることができるため、どのようなユーザに対しても利便性を高めることができる。
(3)上記の図2~図7では、プリセット表示画面6のメータ表示部10の数とカスタマイズ表示画面7のメータ表示部10の数とが同一(いずれも三つ)となっている。これにより、プリセット表示画面6とカスタマイズ表示画面7とを切り替えてもメータ表示部10の数が変わらないため、表示の切り替えの際に、ユーザに自然な印象を与えることができる。
上述した表示装置1は一例であって、上述したものに限られない。
例えば、図2~図6に示すプリセット表示画面6(6A~6E)は一例であり、例えば、同じ組合せ(例えば図2の位置,傾斜角度,方位及び外気温の組合せ)のメータ表示部10が別の配置になったプリセット表示画面6であってもよいし、上記の出力情報や操作情報等を表現するメータ表示部10が用意されていてもよい。また、一つのメータ表示部10に表現されるコンテンツ情報は、一種類(例えば、前後加速度のみ,ステアリング角度のみ等)でもよいし、二種類以上(例えば、方位と外気温と天気,出力トルクと回転速度等)のコンテンツ情報が含まれていなくてもよい。
また、上記のプリセット表示画面6は、三つのメータ表示部10が並んだ三連マルチメータとなっているが、メータ表示部10は二つ以上であればよく、横一直線の配置でなくてもよい。例えば、四つのメータ表示部10を縦横二つずつ配置してもよいし、五つのメータ表示部10を五輪マークのように配置してもよい。なお、プリセット表示画面6のメータ表示部10の数とカスタマイズ表示画面7のメータ表示部10の数とが異なっていてもよい。

Claims (7)
- 車両に関するコンテンツ情報をメータ表示部に表現するメータ表示モードを備える表示装置であって、
前記メータ表示モードは、
予め設定され、複数の前記メータ表示部のうち互いに所定の関連性を持つ二つ以上の前記メータ表示部を同一画面に並べて表示する第一表示画面と、
前記複数のメータ表示部の中から前記車両のユーザが任意に選択した前記メータ表示部を表示する第二表示画面と、を有し、
前記ユーザの画面切替操作により前記第一表示画面と前記第二表示画面とを切り替え可能である
ことを特徴とする、表示装置。 - 前記関連性が異なる複数種類の前記第一表示画面が予め設定されている
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第一表示画面の前記メータ表示部の数と、前記第二表示画面の前記メータ表示部の数とが同一である
ことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置。 - 前記第一表示画面の前記メータ表示部の数が3であり、
前記メータ表示モードの画面サイズは、前記ユーザのモード切替操作により、全画面サイズと、前記全画面サイズの約3分の2の割合の第一縮小サイズと、前記全画面サイズの約3分の1の割合の第二縮小サイズとのいずれか一つに変更可能に構成され、
前記第一縮小サイズでは、表示される前記メータ表示部の数が2に削減され、前記第二縮小サイズでは、表示される前記メータ表示部の数が1に削減される
ことを特徴とする、請求項1~3の何れか一項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記メータ表示モードの画面サイズが前記第一縮小サイズ又は前記第二縮小サイズの場合に、前記ユーザのメータ切替操作により、表示される前記メータ表示部が切り替わる
ことを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の表示装置。 - 前記メータ表示モード以外の他の表示モードを備え、
前記メータ表示モードの画面サイズが前記第一縮小サイズ又は前記第二縮小サイズである場合に、前記他の表示モードを前記第一縮小サイズ及び前記第二縮小サイズの少なくとも一方の画面サイズで前記メータ表示モードと共に同一画面に表示する
ことを特徴とする、請求項4又は5に記載の表示装置。 - 前記メータ表示モードは、
その画面サイズが全画面サイズである場合に、前記画面切替操作の受付が不可能な固定表示と前記画面切替操作の受付が可能な選択表示とが所定条件の成立により切り替わるように構成され、
前記選択表示では、前記画面切替操作を受け付ける受付領域と、アプリケーション起動用のランチャーが表示されるランチャー表示領域とが設けられ、
前記固定表示では、前記ランチャー表示領域が非表示であり、且つ、前記メータ表示部が前記選択表示での前記メータ表示部の大きさよりも拡大表示される
ことを特徴とする、請求項1~6の何れか一項に記載の表示装置。
