Description

情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び、記録媒体
 この開示は、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び、記録媒体の技術分野に関する。
 特許文献1には、人感センサー部が検知対象を検知し、操作部が操作指示を受け付け、制御部が人感センサー部を制御するための設定処理を実行する技術が記載されている。設定処理は、検知精度に応じて人感センサー部の検知度を調整する処理を示し、検知精度は、第1単位時間内に人感センサー部が検知対象を検知した回数と、操作部が操作指示を受け付けた回数との関係を示し、検知度は、検知対象に対する検知の度合いを示す。
 特許文献2には、電源制御手段がネットワークカメラ装置から受信する信号に応じて、省電力状態の第2の電力状態から画像形成可能な第1の電力状態へ復帰させ、かつ、ネットワークカメラ装置側で認証されたユーザ情報が通知された場合、画像形成装置に接近している人に対するログイン処理を完了させ、ユーザ情報が通知されない場合、人に対するログイン処理を実行させる技術が記載されている。
 特許文献3には、シールドケースに装着された赤外線透過フィルターと表面電極対が対向する領域の少なくとも一部分に、赤外線が反射する反射膜を少なくとも1箇所以上設け、赤外線透過フィルターと表面電極対を極近で配置する技術が記載されている。
 特許文献4は、分極方向が対向するように接続された2組の電極で構成され、入射された赤外線の光束に応じて電荷を発生する2素子の焦電型赤外線検出素子からなる赤外線検出体と、赤外線検出体を内部に収納し、赤外線検出体の前方位置に被検出物から放射される赤外線が入射する入射窓が設けられたケースとを備え、入射窓に赤外線を遮蔽する赤外線遮蔽体が2素子の並列方向に対し、傾いた状態で設けられる焦電型赤外線センサを開示している。

 この開示は、先行技術文献に記載された技術の改良を目的とする情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び、記録媒体を提供することを課題とする。
 情報処理装置の一の態様は、第1のセンサと、第2のセンサと、前記第1のセンサの検出範囲の一部、及び前記第2のセンサの検出範囲の一部を遮蔽する遮蔽物と、前記遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第1のセンサの検出結果、及び前記遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第2のセンサの検出結果に応じて対象を検出する検出手段とを備える。
 情報処理方法の一の態様は、第1のセンサの検出範囲の一部、及び第2のセンサの検出範囲の一部を遮蔽する遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第1のセンサの検出結果、及び前記遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第2のセンサの検出結果に応じて対象を検出し、前記対象を検出した場合、当該対象を撮像する撮像手段を制御する。
 記録媒体の一の態様は、コンピュータに、第1のセンサの検出範囲の一部、及び第2のセンサの検出範囲の一部を遮蔽する遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第1のセンサの検出結果、及び前記遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第2のセンサの検出結果に応じて対象を検出し、前記対象を検出した場合、当該対象を撮像する撮像手段を制御する情報処理方法を実行させるためのコンピュータプログラムが記録されている。

 以下、図面を参照しながら、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び、記録媒体の実施形態について説明する。
 [1:第1実施形態]
 情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び、記録媒体の第1実施形態について説明する。以下では、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び記録媒体の第1実施形態が適用された情報処理装置1を用いて、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び記録媒体の第1実施形態について説明する。
 [1-1:情報処理装置1の構成]
 図1を参照しながら、第1実施形態における情報処理装置1の構成について説明する。図1は、第1実施形態における情報処理装置1の構成を示す平面図である。
 図1に示すように、情報処理装置1は、第1のセンサ1aと、第2のセンサ1bと、遮蔽物Oと、検出部11とを備える。遮蔽物Oは、第1のセンサ1aの検出範囲の一部、及び第2のセンサ1bの検出範囲の一部を遮蔽する。検出部11は、遮蔽物Oに検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された第1のセンサ1aの検出結果、及び遮蔽物Oに検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された第2のセンサ1bの検出結果に応じて対象を検出する。
 [1-2:情報処理装置1の技術的効果]
 第1実施形態における情報処理装置1は、第1のセンサ1aの検出範囲の一部、及び第2のセンサ1bの検出範囲の一部を遮蔽する遮蔽物Oを備え、遮蔽物Oに検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された第1のセンサ1aの検出結果、及び遮蔽物Oに検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された第2のセンサ1bの検出結果に応じて対象を検出するので、対象を精度よく検出することができる。
 [2:第2実施形態]
 情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び、記録媒体の第2実施形態について説明する。以下では、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び記録媒体の第2実施形態が適用された情報処理装置2を用いて、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び記録媒体の第2実施形態について説明する。
 本実施形態における情報処理装置2は、人感センサに適用されてもよい。また、情報処理装置2が適用される人感センサとして、焦電センサを採用してもよい。
 [2-1:焦電センサ]
 図2を参照しながら、焦電センサが人感センサとして機能する仕組みを示す。図2は、焦電センサを備える比較例の装置100の構成を示す平面図である。図2は、装置100、及び移動する対象者Pを上から見下ろした図である。
 図2に示すように、比較例の装置100は、第1のセンサ100a、第2のセンサ100b、及び検出部1001を含む。第1のセンサ100a、及び第2のセンサ100bの各々は、別々に赤外線を検出する。第1のセンサ100aは、第1の視野角範囲VRaを有し、赤外線を検出する。第2のセンサ100bは、第2の視野角範囲VRbを有し、赤外線を検出する。第1のセンサ100a、及び第2のセンサ100bの各々は、対象者Pが発生する赤外線に反応し、赤外線の変化を出力する。
 検出部1001は、第1のセンサ100aの検出結果と、第2のセンサ100bの検出結果との差を抽出する。検出部1001は、検知した赤外線の変化に応じて、対象者Pの存在を検出する。検出部1001は、第1のセンサ100a、及び第2のセンサ100bが出力する赤外線の変化に応じて、視野角範囲VRに対象者Pが存在することを検出する。検出部1001は、第1のセンサ100aの検出結果と、第2のセンサ100bの検出結果との差を、焦電センサの視野角範囲VRと視野角範囲外OVRとの境界Bにおいて最も抽出することができる。検出部1001は、対象者Pが焦電センサの視野角範囲VRと視野角範囲外OVRとの境界Bを跨ぐように移動をした場合に、最も精度よく対象者Pを検出することができる。
 対象者Pが視野角範囲外OVRから視野角範囲VRに移動し、視野角範囲外OVRと視野角範囲VRとの境界Bに到着した場合、比較例の装置100は、第1のセンサ100a、及び第2のセンサ100bが出力する赤外線の変化を感知し、対象者Pが視野角範囲VRに入ったことを検出することができる。また、対象者Pが視野角範囲VRから視野角範囲外OVRに移動し、視野角範囲VRと視野角範囲外OVRとの境界Bに到着した場合、比較例の装置100は、第1のセンサ100a、及び第2のセンサ100bが出力する赤外線の変化を感知し、対象者Pが視野角範囲VRから出たことを検出することができる。
 ところで、図2(a)に示すように、第1のセンサ100a、及び第2のセンサ100bが並ぶ方向(X軸方向)に沿って対象者Pが移動している場合は、比較例の装置100は、視野角範囲外OVRと視野角範囲VRとの境界Bに対象者Pの到着を検出できる。一方で、図2(b)に示すように、第1のセンサ100a、及び第2のセンサ100bが並ぶ方向とは異なる方向に向かって対象者Pが移動している場合、特に比較例の装置100の正面に向かって(Y軸方向に沿って)対象者Pが移動している場合は、対象者Pは、視野角範囲外OVRと視野角範囲VRとの境界Bに到着しないので、比較例の装置100は、対象者Pを検出することが困難になる。
 [2-2:情報処理装置2の構成]
 図3を参照しながら、第2実施形態における情報処理装置2の構成について説明する。図3は、第2実施形態における情報処理装置2の構成を示す平面図である。
 図2に示すように、情報処理装置2は、第1のセンサ1aと、第2のセンサ1bと、遮蔽物Oと、検出部11とを備える。情報処理装置2は、遮蔽物Oを導入した点において、上述した比較例の装置100と異なる。情報処理装置2は、さらに筐体Hと、保護スクリーンSとを備えていてもよい。但し、情報処理装置2は、筐体H、及び保護スクリーンSの少なくとも一方を備えていなくてもよい。
 第1のセンサ1aは、第1のセンサ100aと同様の部材であってもよい。また、第2のセンサ1bは、第2のセンサ100bと同様の部材であってもよい。第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1bは、並んで設けられる。第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1bが並ぶ方向をX軸方向とよぶ。また、情報処理装置2の正面に向かう方向をY軸方向と呼ぶ。第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1bは、電極であってもよい。情報処理装置2は、並んで設けられた一対の電極を備えていると言い換えてもよい。
 図3は、筐体Hを用いて、遮蔽物Oを実現する例を示している。すなわち、筐体Hの焦電センサの正面における一部を遮蔽物Oとしてもよい。
 遮蔽物Oは、第1のセンサ1aの検出範囲の一部、及び第2のセンサ1bの検出範囲の一部を遮蔽する。本実施形態において「範囲」とは、鉛直方向(Z軸方向)に垂直な面における範囲であってもよい。また、本実施形態において、検出範囲とは、センサの視野角の範囲であってもよい。遮蔽物Oは、焦電センサの正面中央を遮り、焦電センサの検出範囲を制限する。遮蔽物Oに遮蔽されている範囲を、遮蔽範囲ORとよぶ。遮蔽物Oは、第1のセンサ1aの検出範囲DRと、第2のセンサ1bの検出範囲DRとの共通の共通範検出囲の一部を遮蔽する。焦電センサの正面は、遮蔽物Oにより遮蔽範囲ORとなる。遮蔽物OのX軸方向の寸法、及び遮蔽物OのY軸方向の寸法は、調整することができてもよい。遮蔽物OのX軸方向の寸法は、第1のセンサ1aと第2のセンサ1bとの間の距離より大きくてもよい。
 第1のセンサ1aの遮蔽物Oに遮蔽されていない範囲を第1の検出範囲DRaとよぶ。遮蔽物Oにより、第1のセンサ1aの第1の視野角範囲VRaは、第1の検出範囲DRaに絞られる。第1の検出範囲DRaは、少なくとも第1の第1検出範囲1DRa、及び第1の第2検出範囲2DRaを含んでいてもよい。また、第2のセンサ1bの遮蔽物Oに遮蔽されていない範囲を第2の検出範囲DRbとよぶ。遮蔽物Oにより、第2のセンサ1bの第2の視野角範囲VRbは、第2の検出範囲DRbに絞られる。第2の検出範囲DRbは、少なくとも第2の第1検出範囲1DRb、及び第2の第2検出範囲2DRbを含んでいてもよい。
 検出部11は、遮蔽物Oに検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された第1のセンサ1aの検出結果、及び遮蔽物Oに検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された第2のセンサ1bの検出結果に応じて対象を検出する。検出部11は、遮蔽物Oに検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された第1のセンサ1aの検出結果、及び遮蔽物Oに検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された第2のセンサ1bの検出結果の差に応じて対象者Pを検出してもよい。検出部11は、第1のセンサ1aの出力と、第2のセンサ1bの出力との差分に基づいて、対象者Pを検出してもよい。
 検出部11は、遮蔽範囲ORと、第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの少なくとも一方との境界に存在する対象者Pを検出してもよい。対象者Pが遮蔽範囲ORから第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方に移動し、遮蔽範囲ORと第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方との境界Bに到着した場合、検出部11は、第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1bが出力する赤外線の変化を感知し、対象者Pが第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方に入ったことを検出することができる。検出部11は、情報処理装置2の正面の遠くから近づいてくる対象者Pを、検出することができる。
 検出部11は、第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方と、第1の検出範囲DRaと第2の検出範囲DRbとが重なる重なり領域との境界に存在する対象者Pを検出してもよい。少なくとも一部が重なっている領域を重なり領域とよぶ。
 第1の第1検出範囲1DRaと第2の第1検出範囲1DRbとは、少なくとも一部が重なっていてもよい。また、第1の第2検出範囲2DRaと第2の第2検出範囲2DRbとは、少なくとも一部が重なっていてもよい。検出部11は、第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方と、第1の第1検出範囲1DRaと第2の第1検出範囲1DRbとが重なる重なり領域との境界に存在する対象者Pを検出してもよい。検出部11は、第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方と、第1の第2検出範囲2DRaと第2の第2検出範囲2DRbとが重なる重なり領域との境界に存在する対象者Pを検出してもよい。図3に示す例では、第2の第1検出範囲1DRb、及び第1の第2検出範囲2DRaが、重なり領域に該当する。
 すなわち、検出部11は、遮蔽範囲ORと、第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方と、第1の検出範囲DRaと第2の検出範囲DRbとが重なる重なり領域とを用いて対象者Pを検出してもよい。また、検出部11は、第1のセンサ1aの視野角範囲外OVR、かつ、第2のセンサ1bの視野角範囲外OVRの検出範囲外領域と、第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの少なくとも一方との境界に存在する対象者Pを検出してもよい。つまり、情報処理装置2は、焦電センサの検出範囲DR内に対象者Pが入ったことも、焦電センサの検出範囲DR内から対象者Pが出たことも検出することができる。
 保護スクリーンSは、第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1bの正面側に設けられる。保護スクリーンSは、第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1bを覆い、第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1bの傷付きを防止し、ゴミの進入を防ぐことができる。
 [2-3:遮蔽物Oの変形例]
 遮蔽物Oは、筐体Hの一部でなくてもよい。例えば、図4に例示するように、情報処理装置2’は、保護スクリーンSの第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1b側に遮蔽物Oを備えてもよい。この場合、例えば保護スクリーンSの第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1b側に遮蔽物Oを印刷することにより、遮蔽物Oを実現してもよい。
 また、遮蔽物Oは複数設けられてもよい。例えば、図5には、情報処理装置2’’が、2個の遮蔽物O1、及びO2を備える場合を例示した。遮蔽物Oを増やすことにより、対象者Pを検出する機会を増やすことができる。
 また、遮蔽物OのX軸方向の寸法、及び遮蔽物OのY軸方向の寸法を調整することにより、第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbが調整され、焦電センサの検出範囲DRを調整することができる。また、遮蔽物OのX軸方向の寸法、及び遮蔽物OのY軸方向の寸法を調整することにより、重なり領域が調整され、対象者Pを検出するタイミングを調整することができる。
 本実施形態における情報処理装置2は、図3に例示する対象者PがY軸方向に沿って移動している場合だけでなく、対象者PがX軸方向に沿って移動している場合にも、対象者Pを検出することができる。すなわち、情報処理装置2は、情報処理装置2の正面から対象者Pが近付いてくること、及び情報処理装置2の前を対象者Pが横切ったことを検出することができる。
 [2-2:情報処理装置2の技術的効果]
 焦電センサを人感センサに採用した場合、例えば画像カメラを人感センサとして用いた場合と比較して、例えばコスト面において優れている。焦電センサの検出範囲を制御する目的として、フレネルレンズを用いることが多い。フレネルレンズを用いる場合、フレネルレンズの形状を半球形状にすると、好ましいレンズ特性をもたせることができる。一方で、このようなフレネルレンズを用いると、焦電センサを搭載する装置の薄型化、デザインの自由度等に対して制約が生じる場合が多い。
 第2実施形態における情報処理装置2は、遮蔽物Oを備えるので、焦電センサが搭載される装置を大型化をさせることなく、正面から近づいてくる対象者Pを検出することができる。情報処理装置2は、共通検出範囲の一部を遮蔽するので、情報処理装置2の正面から近づいてくる対象者Pを精度よく検出することができる。情報処理装置2は、複数の場所において対象者Pを検出することができるので、対象者Pの存在を精度よく検出することができる。情報処理装置2は、複数の異なる種類の領域を用いて対象者Pを検出するので、対象者Pの存在を精度よく検出することができる。
 情報処理装置2を人感センサに適用することにより、部品削減となりコスト削減につなげうることができる。また、焦電センサを搭載する装置の薄型化を実現することができる。また、焦電センサを搭載する装置のデザインの自由度を上げることができる。
 [3:第3実施形態]
 情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び、記録媒体の第3実施形態について説明する。以下では、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び記録媒体の第3実施形態が適用された撮像システム3を用いて、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び記録媒体の第3実施形態について説明する。
 撮像システム3は、撮像システム3に近付いてくる対象者Pを撮像する。撮像システム3は、例えば、施設のゲートを通過する対象者Pの撮像に適用されてもよい。撮像システム3がゲートを通過する対象者Pの撮像に適用される場合、行先としてのゲートがあるので、対象者Pは、撮像システム3に向かって移動し易い。また、撮像システム3を注目し易いデザインにし、対象者Pを撮像システム3に向かって移動し易くしてもよい。また、撮像システム3は、例えば、カメラ付きインターホンに適用されてもよい。
 [3-1:撮像システム3の構成]
 図6、及び図7を参照しながら、第3実施形態における撮像システム3の構成について説明する。図6は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3の構成を示す断面図である。図7は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3の構成を示すブロック図である。
 図6は、対象者PがY軸方向(第3実施形態において撮像システム3の正面に向かう方向)に沿って移動している例を示している。図6に示すように、撮像システム3は、カメラCと、人感センサHSとを搭載していてもよい。図6における符号SRはカメラCの視野角範囲を例示している。第3実施形態において、カメラCは可視光カメラであってもよい。または、カメラCは赤外線カメラであってもよい。カメラCは、回転軸CAを有していてもよい。回転軸CAは、様々な身長の人物を追尾するための機構であってもよい。カメラCは、回転軸CAを有することで、低身長な子供も、高身長な大人も撮像することができてもよい。
 ところで、カメラCを常時駆動し続けると、電力消費量が大きくなる。また、回転軸CA等の部品の稼働時間が長くなり、部品の消耗が早くなる。これに対し、第3実施形態における撮像システム3は、人感センサHSを搭載しているので、対象者Pが近付いてきたか否かを判定することができる。撮像システム3は、対象者Pが近付いてきた場合、カメラCを駆動させることができる。人感センサHSには、第2実施形態における情報処理装置2が適用されてもよい。図6における検出範囲DRは、人感センサHSの視野角範囲を例示している。
 撮像システム3は、保護スクリーンSを備えていてもよい。保護スクリーンSは、カメラC、及び人感センサHSの正面側に設けられる。保護スクリーンSは、カメラC、及び人感センサHSを覆い、カメラC、及び人感センサHSの傷付きを防止し、ゴミの進入を防ぐことができる。
 図7に示すように、撮像システム3は、演算装置31と、記憶装置32とを備えている。更に、撮像システム3は、通信装置33と、入力装置34と、出力装置35とを備えていてもよい。但し、撮像システム3は、通信装置33、入力装置34及び出力装置35のうちの少なくとも一つを備えていなくてもよい。演算装置31と、記憶装置32と、通信装置33と、入力装置34と、出力装置35と、人感センサHSと、カメラCとは、データバス36を介して接続されていてもよい。
 演算装置31は、例えば、CPU(Central Processing Unit)、GPU(Graphics Proecssing Unit)及びFPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)のうちの少なくとも一つを含む。演算装置31は、コンピュータプログラムを読み込む。例えば、演算装置31は、記憶装置32が記憶しているコンピュータプログラムを読み込んでもよい。例えば、演算装置31は、コンピュータで読み取り可能であって且つ一時的でない記録媒体が記憶しているコンピュータプログラムを、撮像システム3が備える図示しない記録媒体読み取り装置(例えば、後述する入力装置34)を用いて読み込んでもよい。演算装置31は、通信装置33(或いは、その他の通信装置)を介して、撮像システム3の外部に配置される不図示の装置からコンピュータプログラムを取得してもよい(つまり、ダウンロードしてもよい又は読み込んでもよい)。演算装置31は、読み込んだコンピュータプログラムを実行する。その結果、演算装置31内には、撮像システム3が行うべき動作を実行するための論理的な機能ブロックが実現される。つまり、演算装置31は、撮像システム3が行うべき動作(言い換えれば、処理)を実行するための論理的な機能ブロックを実現するためのコントローラとして機能可能である。
 図7には、情報処理動作を実行するために演算装置31内に実現される論理的な機能ブロックの一例が示されている。図6に示すように、演算装置31内には、検出判定部311と、後述する付記に記載された「制御手段」の一具体例である制御部312とが実現される。検出判定部311、及び制御部312の各々の動作の詳細については、図8を参照しながら後に説明する。
 記憶装置32は、所望のデータを記憶可能である。例えば、記憶装置32は、演算装置31が実行するコンピュータプログラムを一時的に記憶していてもよい。記憶装置32は、演算装置31がコンピュータプログラムを実行している場合に演算装置31が一時的に使用するデータを一時的に記憶してもよい。記憶装置32は、撮像システム3が長期的に保存するデータを記憶してもよい。尚、記憶装置32は、RAM(Random Access Memory)、ROM(Read Only Memory)、ハードディスク装置、光磁気ディスク装置、SSD(Solid State Drive)及びディスクアレイ装置のうちの少なくとも一つを含んでいてもよい。つまり、記憶装置32は、一時的でない記録媒体を含んでいてもよい。
 通信装置33は、不図示の通信ネットワークを介して、撮像システム3の外部の装置と通信可能である。通信装置33は、イーサネット(登録商標)、Wi-Fi(登録商標)、Bluetooth(登録商標)、USB(Universal Serial Bus)等の規格に基づく通信インターフェースであってもよい。
 入力装置34は、撮像システム3の外部からの撮像システム3に対する情報の入力を受け付ける装置である。例えば、入力装置34は、撮像システム3のオペレータが操作可能な操作装置(例えば、キーボード、マウス及びタッチパネルのうちの少なくとも一つ)を含んでいてもよい。例えば、入力装置34は情報処理装置2に対して外付け可能な記録媒体にデータとして記録されている情報を読み取り可能な読取装置を含んでいてもよい。
 出力装置35は、撮像システム3の外部に対して情報を出力する装置である。例えば、出力装置35は、情報を画像として出力してもよい。つまり、出力装置35は、出力したい情報を示す画像を表示可能な表示装置(いわゆる、ディスプレイ)を含んでいてもよい。例えば、出力装置35は、情報を音声として出力してもよい。つまり、出力装置35は、音声を出力可能な音声装置(いわゆる、スピーカ)を含んでいてもよい。例えば、出力装置35は、紙面に情報を出力してもよい。つまり、出力装置35は、紙面に所望の情報を印刷可能な印刷装置(いわゆる、プリンタ)を含んでいてもよい。
 [3-2:撮像システム3が行う情報処理動作]
 図8を参照しながら、第3実施形態における撮像システム3が行う情報処理動作について説明する。図8は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3が行う情報処理動作の流れを示すフローチャートである。
 図8に示す様に、検出判定部311は、人感センサHSが対象者Pを検出したか否かを判定する(ステップS30)。人感センサHSが対象者Pを検出した場合(ステップS30:Yes)、制御部312は、カメラCを制御し、対象者Pを撮像する(ステップS31)。
 図6は、対象者PがY軸方向に沿って移動している状況を例示しているが、人感センサHSは、Y軸方向とは異なる方向に移動する対象者Pを検出してもよい。また、人感センサHSは、X軸方向(第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1bが並ぶ方向)に沿って移動する対象者Pを検出してもよい。
 上述した通り、人感センサHSは、焦電センサの検出範囲DR内に対象者Pが入ったことも、焦電センサの検出範囲DR内から対象者Pが出たことも検出することができる。例えば、人感センサHSが、対象者Pが検出範囲DR内に入ってから、所定の時間内に、対象者Pが検出範囲DR内から出たことを検出した場合、撮像システム3は、対象者Pが第1のセンサ1a、及び第2のセンサ1bが並ぶ方向に沿って移動していると推定することができる。この場合、撮像システム3は、例えば、対象者Pに撮像システム3の方向を向くことを促してもよい。
 [3-3:撮像システム3の技術的効果]
 例えば防犯等を目的として、周囲に居る人物を把握するためにカメラCが採用される場合が多い。この場合、カメラCを常に駆動させておくと、電力の消費量が増大したり、人物を追従するための駆動部品の消耗が早くなったりする。消費電力を抑制し、駆動部品の寿命延長のために、安価な人感センサの需要がある。
 第3実施形態における撮像システム3は、第2実施形態における情報処理装置2を人感センサHSとして採用する。撮像システム3は、人感センサHSが対象者Pを検出した場合に対象者Pを撮像するので、不必要にカメラCが駆動することを抑制することができる。
 [4:第4実施形態]
 情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び、記録媒体の第4実施形態について説明する。以下では、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び記録媒体の第4実施形態が適用された撮像システム4を用いて、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び記録媒体の第4実施形態について説明する。
 [4-1:撮像システム4の構成]
 図9に示すように、第4実施形態における撮像システム4は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3と同様に、演算装置31と、記憶装置32とを備えている。また、第4実施形態における撮像システム4は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3と同様に、人感センサHS、及び撮像手段としてのカメラCが搭載していてもよい。更に、第4実施形態における撮像システム4は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3と同様に、通信装置33と、入力装置34と、出力装置35とを備えていてもよい。但し、撮像システム4は、通信装置33、入力装置34及び出力装置35のうちの少なくとも1つを備えていなくてもよい。第4実施形態における撮像システム4は、演算装置31内に、後述する付記に記載された「誘導手段」の一具体例である誘導部413が更に実現される点で、第3実施形態における撮像システム3と異なる。撮像システム4のその他の特徴は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3のその他の特徴と同一であってもよい。このため、以下では、すでに説明した各実施形態と異なる部分について詳細に説明し、その他の重複する部分については適宜説明を省略するものとする。
 第4実施形態において、人感センサHSに備わる第1のセンサ1a、第2のセンサ1b、及び、遮蔽物Oは、第1の検出範囲DRaと、第2の検出範囲DRbとが重なる重なり領域が、カメラCの焦点範囲になるように設けられる。
 [4-2:撮像システム4が行う情報処理動作]
 図10を参照しながら、第4実施形態における撮像システム4が行う情報処理動作について説明する。図10は、第4実施形態における撮像システム4が行う情報処理動作の流れを示すフローチャートである。
 図10に示す様に、検出判定部411は、人感センサHSが、第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方において対象者Pを検出したか否かを判定する(ステップS40)。人感センサHSが第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方において対象者Pを検出した場合(ステップS40:Yes)、誘導部413は、重なり領域に対象者Pを誘導する(ステップS41)。
 検出判定部411は、人感センサHSが、重なり領域において対象者Pを検出したか否かを判定する(ステップS42)。人感センサHSが重なり領域において対象者Pを検出した場合(ステップS42:Yes)、制御部412は、カメラCの撮像を制御し、対象者Pを撮像する(ステップS43)。重なり領域はカメラCの焦点範囲であるので、カメラCは、カメラCの焦点範囲に存在する対象者Pを撮像することができる。
 [4-3:撮像システム4の技術的効果]
 第4実施形態における撮像システム4は、対象者PをカメラCの焦点範囲に誘導するので、高品質の対象者Pの画像を撮像することができる。
 [5:第5実施形態]
 情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び、記録媒体の第5実施形態について説明する。以下では、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び記録媒体の第5実施形態が適用された認証システム5を用いて、情報処理装置、情報処理方法、及び記録媒体の第5実施形態について説明する。
 [5-1:認証システム5の構成]
 図11に示すように、第5実施形態における認証システム5は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3、及び第4実施形態における撮像システム4と同様に、演算装置31と、記憶装置32とを備えている。更に、第5実施形態における認証システム5は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3、及び第4実施形態における撮像システム4と同様に、通信装置33と、入力装置34と、出力装置35とを備えていてもよい。但し、認証システム5は、通信装置33、入力装置34及び出力装置35のうちの少なくとも1つを備えていなくてもよい。また、第5実施形態における認証システム5は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3及び第4実施形態における撮像システム4と同様に、人感センサHSを搭載していてもよい。また、第5実施形態における認証システム5は、第1の撮像手段としての可視カメラVC、及び、第2の撮像手段としての赤外線カメラICを搭載していてもよい。第5実施形態における認証システム5は、演算装置31内に、後述する付記に記載された「第1制御手段」の一具体例である第1制御部512と、後述する付記に記載された「特定手段」の一具体例である特定部514と、後述する付記に記載された「第2制御手段」の一具体例である第2制御部515と、後述する付記に記載された「認証手段」の一具体例である認証部516とが更に実現される点で、第3実施形態における撮像システム3、及び第4実施形態における撮像システム4と異なる。認証システム5のその他の特徴は、第3実施形態における撮像システム3、及び第4実施形態における撮像システム4の少なくとも1つのその他の特徴と同一であってもよい。このため、以下では、すでに説明した各実施形態と異なる部分について詳細に説明し、その他の重複する部分については適宜説明を省略するものとする。
 第5実施形態において、人感センサHSが備える第1のセンサ1a、第2のセンサ1b、及び、遮蔽物Oは、第1の検出範囲DRaと、第2の検出範囲DRbとが重なる重なり領域が、赤外線カメラICの焦点範囲になるように設けられてもよい。
 [5-2:認証システム5が行う情報処理動作]
 図12を参照しながら、第5実施形態における認証システム5が行う情報処理動作について説明する。図12は、第5実施形態における認証システム5が行う情報処理動作の流れを示すフローチャートである。
 図12に示す様に、検出判定部511は、人感センサHSが、第1のセンサ1aの遮蔽物Oに遮蔽されていない第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2のセンサ1bの遮蔽物Oに遮蔽されていない第2の検出範囲DRbの一方において対象者Pを検出したか否かを判定する(ステップS50)。人感センサHSが第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方において対象者Pを検出した場合(ステップS50:Yes)、第1制御部512は、可視カメラVCを制御し、対象者Pの顔の顔画像を撮像させる(ステップS51)。特定部514は、顔画像を用いて対象者Pの目領域の位置を特定する(ステップS52)。
 検出判定部511は、人感センサHSが、第1の検出範囲DRaと、第2の検出範囲DRbとが重なる重なり領域において対象者Pを検出したか否かを判定する(ステップS53)。人感センサHSが重なり領域において対象者Pを検出した場合(ステップS53:Yes)、第2制御部515は、赤外線カメラICを制御し、対象者Pの目領域の目画像を撮像させる(ステップS54)。認証部516は、目画像を用いて対象者Pを虹彩認証する(ステップS55)。
 なお、本実施形態において、可視カメラVCと赤外線カメラICとを用いているが、単一のカメラCを用いて、顔画像の取得、及び目画像の取得をしてもよい。また、人感センサHSが第1の検出範囲DRa、及び第2の検出範囲DRbの一方において対象者Pを検出した場合、顔画像の取得と伴に、第4実施形態のように重なり領域に対象者Pを誘導してもよい。
 また、認証システム5は、可視カメラVCが撮像した画像を用いて、顔認証をしてもよい。すなわち、認証システム5は、マルチモーダル認証を実施してもよい。
 [5-3:認証システム5の技術的効果]
 第5実施形態における認証システム5は、遮蔽物Oに検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された第1のセンサ1aの検出結果、及び遮蔽物Oに検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された第2のセンサ1bの検出結果に応じて対象者Pを検出する人感センサHSを用いて精度よく対象者Pを検出することができるので、認証に適した画像を撮像することができ、精度よく対象者Pを認証することができる。認証システム5は、認証システム5から比較的遠くに居る対象者Pの顔画像から目領域を特定し、対象者Pが比較的近くに近づいた際に目領域を撮像するので、対象者Pが歩いている場合にも、虹彩認証に適した目画像を取得することができ、精度よく虹彩認証を行うことができる。
 なお、第3実施形態における撮像システム3、及び第4実施形態における撮像システム4は、第5実施形態における認証システム5と同様に、カメラCが撮像した画像を用いて、顔認証、及び虹彩認証の少なくとも一方を実施してもよい。つまり、撮像システム3、及び撮像システム4は、顔認証を行ってもよく、虹彩認証を行ってもよく、顔認証、及び虹彩認証を含むマルチモーダル認証を実施してもよい。

Claims (10)

  1.  第1のセンサと、
     第2のセンサと、
     前記第1のセンサの検出範囲の一部、及び前記第2のセンサの検出範囲の一部を遮蔽する遮蔽物と、
     前記遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第1のセンサの検出結果、及び前記遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第2のセンサの検出結果に応じて対象を検出する検出手段と
     を備える情報処理装置。
  2.  前記第1のセンサ、及び前記第2のセンサは、並んで設けられ、
     前記検出手段は、前記遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第1のセンサの検出結果、及び前記遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第2のセンサの検出結果の差に応じて対象を検出する
     請求項1に記載の情報処理装置。
  3.  前記遮蔽物は、前記第1のセンサの検出範囲と、前記第2のセンサの検出範囲との共通の共通検出範囲の一部を遮蔽する
     請求項1又は2に記載の情報処理装置。
  4.  前記検出手段は、
      前記遮蔽物に遮蔽されている遮蔽範囲と、前記第1のセンサの前記遮蔽物に遮蔽されていない第1の検出範囲、及び前記第2のセンサの前記遮蔽物に遮蔽されていない第2の検出範囲の少なくとも一方の検出範囲との境界、並びに、
      前記第1のセンサの検出範囲外、かつ、前記第2のセンサの検出範囲外の検出範囲外領域と、前記少なくとも一方の検出範囲との境界に存在する前記対象を検出する
     請求項1又は2に記載の情報処理装置。
  5.  前記検出手段は、前記遮蔽物が遮蔽している遮蔽範囲と、前記第1のセンサの前記遮蔽物に遮蔽されていない第1の検出範囲、及び前記第2のセンサの前記遮蔽物に遮蔽されていない第2の検出範囲の一方と、前記第1の検出範囲と、前記第2の検出範囲とが重なる重なり領域とを用いて前記対象を検出する
     請求項1又は2に記載の情報処理装置。
  6.  前記検出手段が前記対象を検出した場合、当該対象を撮像する撮像手段を制御する制御手段と、
     を更に備える請求項1又は2に記載の情報処理装置。
  7.  前記第1のセンサ、前記第2のセンサ、及び、前記遮蔽物は、前記第1のセンサの前記遮蔽物に遮蔽されていない第1の検出範囲と、前記第2のセンサの前記遮蔽物に遮蔽されていない第2の検出範囲とが重なる重なり領域が、前記撮像手段の焦点範囲になるように設けられ、
     前記検出手段が、前記第1の検出範囲、及び前記第2の検出範囲の一方において前記対象を検出した場合、前記重なり領域に前記対象を誘導する誘導手段を更に備え、
     前記検出手段が、前記重なり領域において前記対象を検出した場合、前記制御手段は、前記撮像手段の撮像を制御する
     請求項6に記載の情報処理装置。
  8.  前記検出手段が、前記第1のセンサの前記遮蔽物に遮蔽されていない第1の検出範囲、及び前記第2のセンサの前記遮蔽物に遮蔽されていない第2の検出範囲の一方において前記対象を検出した場合、前記対象の顔を撮像する第1の撮像手段を制御し、前記対象の顔の顔画像を取得する第1の制御手段と、
     前記顔画像を用いて前記対象の目領域の位置を特定する特定手段と、
     前記検出手段が、前記第1の検出範囲と、前記第2の検出範囲とが重なる重なり領域において前記対象を検出した場合、前記特定手段により特定された前記対象の目領域を撮像する第2の撮像手段を制御し、前記対象の目領域の目画像を取得する第2の制御手段と、
     前記目画像を用いて虹彩認証をする認証手段と
     を更に備え、
     前記第1のセンサ、前記第2のセンサ、及び、前記遮蔽物は、前記重なり領域が、前記第2の撮像手段の焦点範囲になるように設けられる
     請求項1又は2に記載の情報処理装置。
  9.  第1のセンサの検出範囲の一部、及び第2のセンサの検出範囲の一部を遮蔽する遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第1のセンサの検出結果、及び前記遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第2のセンサの検出結果に応じて対象を検出し、
     前記対象を検出した場合、当該対象を撮像する撮像手段を制御する
     情報処理方法。
  10.  コンピュータに、
     第1のセンサの検出範囲の一部、及び第2のセンサの検出範囲の一部を遮蔽する遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第1のセンサの検出結果、及び前記遮蔽物に検出範囲の一部が遮蔽された前記第2のセンサの検出結果に応じて対象を検出し、
     前記対象を検出した場合、当該対象を撮像する撮像手段を制御する
     情報処理方法を実行させるためのコンピュータプログラムが記録されている記録媒体。
