Definitions
- the invention relates to a deformation element, an assembly with a deformation element and the use of a deformation element.
- the object underlying the invention is to improve a deformation element and an assembly with a deformation element and a use of a deformation element.
- a deformation element comprises an at least partially elastically deformable deformation body, wherein the deformation body has two contact sections arranged offset from one another at least in a vertical direction and a connecting section connecting the contact sections, wherein the deformation body has at least one stabilizing structure on the connecting section, i.e. exactly one stabilizing structure or several stabilizing structures.
- An advantage of the solution according to the invention is in particular that the at least one stabilizing structure provides overload protection for the deformation body and in particular the deformation element in order to at least reduce the risk of excessive deformation.
- the solution according to the invention at least avoids excessive plasticization of the connecting section.
- the connecting section is stiffened by the at least one stabilizing structure, so that even in the case of greater loads on the deformation body in the vertical direction, at least largely elastically deformable regions of the deformation body are deformed instead of the connecting section.
- the connecting section is essentially subjected to a tensile stress when the deformation body is subjected to a load in the vertical direction and can advantageously withstand this better due to the at least one stabilizing structure.
- the at least one stabilizing structure on the connecting section has an advantageous effect on the stability of the deformation body without impairing its function at least too much.
- the connecting section is one of the regions of the deformation body that is subjected to less stress, so that by attaching the at least one stabilizing structure to the connecting section, a counterforce of the deformation body against adjacent components between which the deformation element is arranged does not become too great and thus a low inertia of the deformation body is achieved.
- this is advantageous if the deformation body is arranged between moving parts of a control device, for example a control rod, and the low inertia is important in order to at least not have too great a negative influence on the control effect.
- an advantage of providing the at least one stabilizing structure on the connecting section is that the deformation body can be made more compact, since it generally has the connecting section anyway and thus the deformation element can also be used when there is little available installation space.
- the connecting body can be specifically designed and formed with regard to its counterforce against deformation, for example by the targeted selection and design of a thickness of the material of the deformation body and/or the geometry of the deformation body.
- the at least one stabilizing structure at least reduces an excessively damaging influence on the deformation body and increases the service life of the deformation body even under load.
- the deformation element is designed to be arranged between two components, wherein one of the two contact sections is advantageously provided and designed to be in contact with a respective one of the two components.
- the deformation element is designed to form a connection between the two components.

- At least some of the plurality of stabilizing structures are designed differently with respect to at least one feature.
- At least one stabilizing structure increases a counterforce of the deformation body against deformations in the vertical direction at least in some deformation regions, in particular increases a counterforce against plastic deformations.

- At least one stabilizing structure is designed such that the elasticity range of the deformation body is increased. It is particularly advantageous if at least one stabilizing structure is designed such that the deformation threshold value of the deformation body is increased.
- one of the above embodiments is achieved in that the connecting section, which is in particular at least substantially only plastically deformable, is made more stable by the at least one stabilizing structure and thus, when the deformation body is subjected to stress, regions of the deformation body which are at least substantially elastically deformable are deformed rather than this connecting section.

- a distance between the two component surfaces 322, 324 in the arrangement region 318 in the arrangement direction 316 is smaller, advantageously only a little smaller, than a height extension of the deformation body 110 in the vertical direction 162, so that the deformation body 110 is at least slightly elastically deformed in the vertical direction 162 in this basic position.
- the two components 312 and 314 are components arranged in the assembly 310 so as to be movable relative to one another.
- the two components 312, 314 move relative to one another at least in the arrangement direction 316 during use of the assembly 310, so that the gap 315 between the two components 312 and 314 has a varying gap height during use, the gap height being measured in the arrangement direction 316.
- the two components 312, 314a are arranged very close to each other, so that the deformation body 110 is already strongly deformed in its vertical direction 162 and essentially only rests against the respective corresponding component 112 and 114a at the respective transition of the two contact sections 112 and 114 into the connecting section 116.
- preferred embodiments and features and, for example, a mode of operation of the deformation element 100 and an assembly 310 with the deformation element 100 and, in particular, advantages of the solution according to the invention are briefly summarized as follows.
- the deformation element 100 comprises the deformation body 110, which has two contact sections 112 and 114 arranged offset from one another in the vertical direction 162, which are in particular also arranged offset from one another transversely to the vertical direction 162.
- the deformation body 110 further comprises the connecting section 116, which connects the two contact sections 112 and 114 to one another in a connecting direction 172, which runs obliquely to the vertical direction 162.
- the deformation body 110 is formed from a flat product and a thickness of the contact sections 112, 114 and the connecting section 116 is smaller, in particular significantly smaller, than their extension at least approximately perpendicular to their respective thickness direction 208.
- the deformation body 110 is shaped such that a free space 216 and 218 is formed transversely to the vertical direction 162 on both sides of the connecting section 116, wherein the free spaces 216, 218 are free of material and one of the contact sections 112, 114 is arranged adjacent to each of the free spaces.
- the contact sections 112, 114 can thus move into the respective adjacent free space 216, 218.
- the deformation body 110 is arranged in a gap 315 between two components 312, 314 of an assembly 310 and in particular rests against a respective component surface 322, 324 of the two components 312, 314.
- the two components 312, 314 are mounted so as to be movable relative to one another at least in the arrangement direction 316 in which they are arranged opposite one another, and when the assembly 310 is in use, the two components 312 and 314 move towards and away from one another in the arrangement direction 316. For example, they move in a pulsating manner relative to one another.
- the deformation body 110 between the two components 312 and 314 is preferably essentially elastically deformed and thus preferably has a damping effect on the relative movement.
- the deformation body 110 deforms when loaded in the vertical direction 162 such that the contact sections 112 and 114 initially detach only slightly and, when loaded later, essentially largely from the respective component surface 322, 324, against which they rest in a basic position in the assembled state of the assembly 310, and extend into the respective free space 216, 218. The deformation body 110 then essentially rests against the respective component surface 322, 324 with a respective transition region from the respective contact section 112, 114 to the connecting section 116.
- the connecting section 116 is at least substantially not deformed during the deformation due to the load in the vertical direction 162.
- the transition regions from the connecting section 116 into one of the two contact sections 112, 114 are pulled apart transversely to the vertical direction 162, as is indicated by way of example in Fig. 7 with the arrows PI and P2.
- the connecting section 116 is thereby under tensile stress.
- the two transition regions from one of the two contact sections 112, 114 into the connecting section 116 are the most heavily stressed areas of the deformation body 110 when deformed by a load in the vertical direction 162.
- the connecting section 116 Since the connecting section 116 essentially has no elasticity, it would be at least largely plastically deformed if it were to be deformed. In particular, there is a risk of plasticization if the connecting section 116 is under tensile stress.
- the connecting portion 116 advantageously has the at least one stabilizing structure 252, the connecting portion 116 resists deformation more strongly and thus the deformation body 110 deforms even under greater loads in the vertical direction 162, in particular in the transition regions, and at least substantially elastically.
- the connecting section 116 is stiffened by the at least one stabilizing structure 252 and thus stabilizes the deformation body 110.
- the stabilized connecting section 116 also at least reduces the risk of so-called folding over of the deformation body 110.
- the folding can occur if the deformation body 110 is subjected to too great a load in the vertical direction 162, whereby the angular arrangement between the connecting section 116 and at least one of the two contact sections 106, 114 folds into an opposite angular arrangement due to the excessive tension. For example, an angle measured in the respective free space 216, 218 between the contact section 112, 114 and the connecting section 116 is increased from less than 180° to more than 180°.
- the folding can occur in particular in one-sided system configurations, as shown by way of example in Fig. 6, in which no section of the oppositely arranged component surface 324, 322 is arranged opposite the section of the component surface 322, 324 against which the deformation body 110 rests in the arrangement direction 316.
- the deformation body 110 acts at least partially to seal between the two components 312, 314 due to its particularly prestressed contact with one of its contact sections 112, 114 on each of the two components 312, 314.
