Definitions
- the present invention relates to a chest tube inserter that facilitates chest tube insertion and allows injection of drugs to control pain at the chest tube insertion site, and a kit containing the same.
- the chest tube is provided to penetrate the chest wall and penetrates the inside of the body. (chest tube) can be easily inserted without pain, and the drug injection part for pain control drug injection is connected.
- a chest tube inserter and a chest tube inserter for drug injection and chest tube insertion that allows the drug to be easily delivered to the chest cavity where the kit is inserted This is about the kit included.
- Chest tube insertion surgery which involves inserting a chest tube into the chest cavity, is one of the widely performed procedures. It is performed to remove air, blood, or pus that occurs inside the chest cavity.
- Conventional chest tube insertion surgery involves making an incision in the chest wall of a certain size, holding the end of the chest tube with forceps, inserting it into the incision, and then opening the incision with forceps and inserting the chest tube into the thoracic cavity. It was carried out by pushing it inside.
- chest tubes incorporating a dilator that widens the incision area to facilitate easy insertion of the chest tube have been used.
- the current dilator has limitations in applicability because it is dependent on the diameter of the chest tube, and it still has no choice but to incise the chest and insert a chest tube based on the doctor's arbitrary judgment.
- the air injection stopper for a thoracic catheter in the prior art literature can perform the function of guiding the catheter to be easily inserted, but during the air injection process, air leaks through the gap between the catheter and the chest, reducing air intake efficiency. Since the main purpose is to prevent injury, the initial incision of the ribcage must be made arbitrarily by the doctor, and there is a limitation in that there is a lack of consideration for inflammation occurring at the incision site or pain felt by the patient.
- the present invention was developed to solve the above-mentioned problems. It stably inserts a chest tube into the thoracic cavity, minimizes the incision in the rib cage, reduces the patient's pain, and controls the pain caused by placing the chest tube at the incision site.
- the purpose is to provide a chest tube inserter for drug injection and chest tube insertion that can continuously supply drugs and stably fix the chest tube to prevent it from moving, and a kit containing the same.
