Description

Sales promotion support system and sales promotion support method
The present invention relates to a sales promotion support system and a sales promotion support method that allow customers to try on products they wish to try on from among the products they are considering purchasing that are displayed and sold in a brick-and-mortar store.
When a prospective purchaser purchases clothes, accessories, shoes, etc. at a real store (hereinafter, the real store may be simply referred to as a store) rather than a virtual store, the purchaser often tries on the items at the store to check how they look when tried on. By doing so, the purchaser can see themselves in the mirror and check whether the items suit them or not, and can make a purchase only after they are satisfied.
On the other hand, in mail order sales using the Internet, you have to simply browse and purchase clothes, accessories, shoes, etc. on a sales site, which is a virtual store. If you don't like the product, you can return it, but the return procedure is complicated.
In view of this, patent documents 1 to 3 disclose techniques for enabling a customer to try on an item that he or she intends to purchase.
Patent document 1 describes a try-on vehicle system that includes a touch panel display that displays multiple products that are candidates for purchase and allows a customer to select a desired product from the multiple displayed products, and a vehicle arrangement unit that arranges for a vehicle carrying the product selected through the touch panel display.
Patent Document 2 describes a product sales system, a product sales method, and a recording medium that records the program for the system, in which a person wishing to try on a product sends from a user terminal the product they wish to try on and the convenience store where the product will be picked up to a content server as request information. The management server then obtains the request information from the content server and sends delivery instruction information to a collection and distribution center terminal installed in the collection and distribution center that has jurisdiction over the convenience store, allowing the person wishing to try on the product to pick up the product from the convenience store and try it on at home.
Patent Document 3 describes a method of selling products by shipping try-on items, in which when a purchaser selects multiple items of clothing from a catalog viewed by a browser, several try-on items corresponding to each requested item are shipped to the purchaser, and the purchaser can try on the delivered try-on items and then place an order with the seller for any items from the try-on items that the purchaser wishes to purchase.

The conventional technologies described in Patent Documents 1 to 3 allow prospective purchasers to try on products, such as clothing, simply by looking at the screen of a terminal device and selecting the product they wish to try on, which is highly convenient for prospective purchasers.
However, when a prospective purchaser decides to try on a product such as clothing, not only the appearance but also the feel of the product and the way the light hits it are important points. Also, while looking at the clothes on display in a store, prospective purchasers want to try out various combinations with other clothes.
A prospective purchaser can simply visit various brands, specialty stores, and other physical stores, try on the items they plan to purchase, and choose the one they like, just as they would in the past. However, if, while touring physical stores, they decide they want to try on an item from the first store again, they must return to that store.
In addition, when a prospective purchaser is wandering around a store alone, he or she may want a family member or friend to see him or her try on a product that they like. In such a case, the prospective purchaser must return to the store, which is inconvenient.
In addition, in the conventional technologies described in Patent Documents 1-3, prospective buyers select the products they want to try on, such as clothes, while looking at the screen of a terminal device, so customers do not need to visit a physical store; they only use virtual stores. As a result, it is not possible to bring back vitality to physical stores, which have seen a decline in customers due to the spread of infectious diseases.
The present invention aims to provide a sales promotion support system and method that can increase convenience for prospective purchasers and bring vitality back to physical stores by allowing them to try on products that they have decided to try on while wandering around the store.
The sales promotion support system of the present invention is characterized by comprising a first terminal device having an imaging means for taking an image to identify an item that the customer wishes to try on from among the items that are candidates for purchase and are sold at one or more brick-and-mortar stores, a second terminal device operated by staff who provide a fitting service for the item that the customer wishes to try on, and a sales promotion support device that instructs the second terminal device to transport the item to a fitting room located at a location other than the brick-and-mortar store, based on the item shown in the image sent from the first terminal device.
The sales promotion support method of the present invention includes the steps of: taking an image, using a first terminal device having an imaging means, of identifying an item that the customer wishes to try on from among the items that are candidates for purchase and are sold at one or more brick-and-mortar stores; and, based on the item shown in the image sent from the first terminal device to the sales support device, instructing a second terminal device operated by a staff member who provides a fitting service for the item that the customer wishes to try on to transport the item to a fitting room located at a location different from the brick-and-mortar store.
According to the present invention, a prospective purchaser visits various brands, specialty stores, and other physical stores as in the conventional manner and takes pictures of products using a first terminal device, and the sales promotion support device instructs the transport of the products to a second terminal device operated by staff who provide a fitting service for the products that the prospective purchaser wishes to try on. This allows the prospective purchaser to try on the clothes that they wish to try on, photographed at multiple stores, in a fitting room. Furthermore, if a prospective purchaser visits a store alone and takes pictures of the clothes they wish to try on, they can enjoy trying them on with family or friends.
The first terminal device may transmit the image including an overall image of the product and a tag image attached to the product that has been given identification information for identifying the product. By capturing an image using the first terminal device that includes an overall image of the product and a tag image attached to the product that has been given identification information for identifying the product, a prospective purchaser can pick out the product they wish to try on without misidentifying it.
The first terminal device transmits an overall image of the product as the image,
The sales promotion support device has a memory means for storing information on the types and colors of multiple products sold at the physical store, and based on the information stored in the memory means and an overall image of the product transmitted from the first terminal device, can transmit information about products sold at the physical store that are related to the product depicted in the overall image to the first terminal device.
This allows the prospective purchaser to know information about products that appear in the overall product image transmitted from the first terminal device, that is, products that are related to the product of interest photographed by the prospective purchaser.
The imaging means of the first terminal device captures an image of an identification graphic displayed on a tag attached to the product that the customer wishes to try on,
The sales promotion support device has a memory means for storing the identification figures of multiple products sold at the physical store, and can identify the product and store based on the information stored in the memory means and the identification figure indicated by the image transmitted from the first terminal device, and instruct the second terminal device to transport the product to a fitting room located in a location different from the physical store.
This allows the sales promotion support device to instruct the second terminal device to transport the product even if the prospective purchaser photographs only the identification figure displayed on the tag attached to the product he or she wishes to try on.
The first terminal device has a function of displaying a diagrammed reservation figure showing an image of the photographed product, and the second terminal device has a function of transmitting reservation information generated by analyzing the reservation figure to a sales promotion support device, and the sales promotion support device can instruct the second terminal device to transport the product based on the reservation information.
When a prospective purchaser requests to try on an item, the prospective purchaser is required to have the reservation figure displayed on the first terminal device read by the second terminal device, so that it is possible to prevent the prospective purchaser who has requested to try on an item from canceling by not showing up for the try-on.
When transmitting the image to the sales promotion support device, the first terminal device may be configured to associate the image with store identification information generated by analyzing a diagrammed identification graphic installed in the physical store to identify the physical store, and then transmit the image.
This makes it possible to determine which store an image of a product comes from without any misunderstanding.
The physical store may include a third terminal device operated by a staff member, and the sales promotion support device may transmit reservation information indicating the product instructed to be transported to the third terminal device and display it. Since the sales promotion support device transmits reservation information indicating the product instructed to be transported to the third terminal device operated by a staff member at the store and displays it, the product can be prepared in advance for pickup.
The sales promotion support device can display the status of the product on the third terminal device based on status information indicating whether the product is being tried on or being returned. Store staff can easily understand the status of the product that has been tried on and removed from the store.
The present invention allows prospective purchasers to try on clothes that they have photographed at multiple stores in a fitting room, and if they visit a store alone and take photos of the clothes they want to try on, they can enjoy trying them on with family and friends. A sales promotion support method using the sales promotion support system according to the embodiment of the present invention configured as above will be described with reference to the drawings.
First, when a prospective purchaser M1 shown in Fig. 1 visits one of the physical stores S1 to S7 (for example, store S1), the identification figure Q, which is a QR code (registered trademark), is photographed and read using the photographing function of the first terminal device 2 (smartphone) (see step S10). The first terminal device 2 analyzes the read identification figure Q to generate store identification information (see step S20). The first terminal device 2 stores the store identification information that identifies the store.
Next, the prospective purchaser M1 looks at various products, for example clothes, displayed in the store S1, and when he finds clothes he likes, he takes a picture of the clothes with the first terminal device 2 (see step S30).
When taking a photograph of clothing, the prospective purchaser M1 first taps the “Camera” button B1 displayed on the screen 2a of the first terminal device 2 shown in FIG. 5 (A) to launch the digital camera and enable the photography function.
Next, as shown in Figures 5(B) and 5(C), prospective purchaser M1 presses shutter button B2 to capture an overall image P11 of the clothing (product) and a tag image P12 attached to the clothing, on which identification information for identifying the clothing is printed, as a candidate image to be tried on. The tag image P12 can be a photograph of a tag printed with the name of the clothing manufacturer, a product code for identifying the clothing, an identification graphic P12a such as a barcode indicating this product code, the size and price of the clothing, etc.
In this way, the try-on candidate images taken by the first terminal device 2 shown in Fig. 2 are stored in the first terminal device 2 and are also transmitted to the sales promotion support device 5 via the Internet W. At this time, try-on candidate information is generated in which the store identification information obtained by analyzing the identification figure in step S20 shown in Fig. 4 is associated with the image file name that identifies the try-on candidate image.
In this way, since the try-on candidate information includes store identification information, it is easy to determine in which store the try-on candidate image was taken.
In the sales promotion support device 5, the image management means 52 receives the try-on candidate information via the communication means 51 and stores it in the storage means 57 (see step S40).
In the sales promotion support device 5, the reservation management means 53 reads the try-on candidate information from the storage means 57 and transmits it as a try-on candidate to the third terminal device 4 installed in the store based on the store identification information via the communication means 51. As shown in Fig. 6, in the third terminal device 4, the whole image P11 and the tag image P12 registered as the try-on candidate are displayed on the screen 4a.
This allows the store clerk operating the third terminal device 4 to know the clothes that the prospective purchaser M1 shown in FIG. 1 has selected as candidates to try on.
In this way, clothes that are candidates for trying on (candidates for trying on) are accumulated after touring stores S1 to S7 and other stores within facility S, and the clothes can be tried on that same day or on the next day off with friends or family.
When the prospective purchaser wishes to try on the clothes selected as candidates for trying on, as shown in FIG. 7(A), the prospective purchaser operates the first terminal device 2 to display the candidate selection screen P2 on the screen 2a. This operation causes the store name P21 and the try-on candidate image P22 to be displayed on the candidate selection screen P2 based on the try-on candidate information.
The prospective purchaser scrolls through the candidate selection screen P2 and selects the try-on candidate image he or she desires to select from among the try-on candidate images displayed on the candidate selection screen P2 (see step S50).Then, the prospective purchaser presses the "OK" button B3.
By pressing the “OK” button B3, the first terminal device 2 displays a QR code (registered trademark) that represents the try-on candidate information (image file name identifying the try-on candidate image, store identification information) based on the selected try-on candidate image P22 as a reservation figure Q1 on the screen 2a (see step S60).
The prospective purchaser presents the reservation symbol Q1 displayed on the first terminal device 2 at the counter D shown in Fig. 1. At the counter D, the staff member M2 operates the second terminal device 3 to read the reservation symbol Q1 (see step S70).
In this way, by presenting the reservation figure Q1, which is a graphic representation of candidate try-on information as a QR code (registered trademark), at the counter D, it is possible to prevent a prospective purchaser who has requested a try-on from canceling by not showing up for the try-on.
In addition, while the staff member M2 is preparing the clothes that the customer wishes to try on, the customer may enter a nearby store and begin shopping while looking at other products. This can further stimulate the customer's desire to make a purchase.
When the reservation symbol Q1 is read, the second terminal device 3 analyzes the reservation symbol Q1 and transmits the reservation information generated to the sales promotion support device 5.
In the sales promotion support device 5, the transport instruction means 54 searches for the try-on candidate information stored in the storage means 57 based on the reservation information, and reads the corresponding try-on candidate image and store name.
For example, if the storage means 57 stores master data (product management data) from each store S1 to S7, the store where the image to be tried on was taken and the type, size, color, etc. of the clothing can be identified by referring to the master data from the product code obtained by analyzing the identification figure P12a (see FIG. 5(C)) displayed on the tag image P12 of the image to be tried on.
The store may be identified by the sales promotion support device 5 from the tag image P12, or the tag image P12 may be transmitted to the third terminal device 3 and the staff member M2 at the counter D may identify the store.
Each store S1 to S7 is divided into different brands, and if the brand can be identified from the tag image P12, even without master data, the sales promotion support device 5 can identify the store from the brand of the clothing, and staff M2 at counter D can identify the brand just by looking at the overall image P11 of the clothing or the tag image P12.
Then, the transport instruction means 54 instructs the second terminal device 3 to transport the clothes that the customer wishes to try on (see step S80).
In addition, the sales promotion support device 5 notifies the customer that a reservation for trying on has been made by having the reservation management means 53 display an overall image and a tag image on the screen 4a of the third terminal device 4 based on the reservation information corresponding to the clothes that the customer wishes to try on (see step S90).
6, a whole image P31 based on the reservation information and a candidate image for trying on based on a tag image P32 are displayed on the screen 4a. Therefore, the store clerk can prepare the requested clothes for pick-up by hanging them on a rack or the like.
On the second terminal device 3, the clothes that the customer wishes to try on, sent from the sales promotion support device 5, are displayed as items to be picked up (see step S100). At counter D, staff member M2 goes to the store that displays the clothes that the customer wishes to try on, based on the store name and the clothes that the customer wishes to try on (whole image and tag image) displayed on the second terminal device 3, picks up the clothes, and places them in fitting rooms R1 and R2.
Staff member M2 can grasp the shape and color of the clothing from the overall image of the clothing. Staff member M2 can also reliably identify the clothing from the identification graphic, such as a barcode, captured in the tag image. Therefore, staff member M2 can pick up the clothing from the store without making a mistake.
In this way, prospective purchasers can try on the clothes they wish to try on, which have been photographed at multiple stores, in fitting rooms R1 and R2. Also, if prospective purchasers visit a store alone and take photos of the clothes they wish to try on, they can enjoy trying them on with family or friends.
The sales promotion support system 10 allows customers to try on products they have decided to try on while wandering around the store, thereby increasing convenience for potential buyers and bringing vitality back to physical stores.
When the customer has finished trying on the clothes, the customer notifies staff member M2 at counter D shown in Fig. 1 that the customer has finished trying on the clothes, and staff member M2 collects the clothes from fitting rooms R1 and R2. Staff member M2 notifies sales promotion support device 5 through second terminal device 3 that the customer has finished trying on the clothes and has returned the clothes.
Then, staff member M2 returns the clothes collected from fitting rooms R1 and R2 to the store.
If the prospective purchaser wishes to purchase the clothes he or she has tried on, he or she can make a request to staff member M2 at counter D to purchase the clothes.
The purchase of this clothing may be made by providing a payment means in the sales promotion support device 5 and paying via the second terminal device 3 installed at the counter D, or by using a system separate from the sales promotion support device 5.
The sales promotion support device 5 can manage clothing, which is a product that can be tried on.
The product management means 55 of the sales promotion support device 5 displays a status screen P4 on the screen 4a of the third terminal device 4 operated by a store clerk, as shown in Figure 8, on which the product status can be viewed as "trying on" P41, "returning" P42, or "sold" P43.
When the transport instruction means 54 instructs the second terminal device 3 to transport the clothes that the customer wishes to try on in step S80 shown in FIG. 4, the product management means 55 changes the status information of the reservation information for the requested try-on, stored in the memory means 57, to status information indicating that the customer is trying on, so that "trying on" can be displayed on the third terminal device 4.
In addition, when staff member M2 at counter D is informed by prospective purchaser M1 that the try-on is complete, he or she can operate second terminal device 3 to notify sales promotion support device 5 that the try-on is complete, causing product management means 55 to change the status information of the reservation information for the item requested to be tried on, stored in memory means 57, from "trying on" to "returning," thereby displaying the status information on third terminal device 4.
When an item is returned, the store clerk can operate the third terminal device 4 to notify the sales promotion support device 5 that the item has been returned, and the item management means 55 can reset the status information indicating that the item is being returned.
Furthermore, when a prospective purchaser who has finished trying on the item informs staff member M2 at counter D of the purchase and completes payment, the second terminal device 3 operated by staff member M2 notifies the sales promotion support device 5 of this fact, and the product management means 55 can record the status information indicating that the item has been sold.
In this way, the state of the clothes brought from the store to the fitting room, such as "trying on,""returning," or "sold," is known, so store staff can lend out the clothes with peace of mind.
Here, in the sales promotion support device 5, the customer can select the product he/she wishes to try on based on the products recommended by the product guide means 56, in addition to selecting the product he/she wishes to try on based on the images taken in the store.
As shown in Figures 9 (A) to (C), by accessing the sales promotion support device 5 from the first terminal device 2 and requesting product information, various products are displayed on the screen 2a of the first terminal device 2.
For example, in the screen 2a shown in FIG. 9(A), the brand name of the clothing is displayed along with the store name and categorized. In the screen 2a shown in FIG. 9(B), the clothing is categorized by type. Furthermore, in the screen 2a shown in FIG. 9(C), a photo of a model wearing the clothing is displayed.
By selecting clothes as shown in FIG. 7(A) from screen 2a shown in FIG. 9(A) to FIG. 9(C), a prospective purchaser can request to try on the clothes.
In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, when the reservation symbol Q1 displayed on the first terminal device 2 is presented at the counter D, the second terminal device 3 reads it and notifies the sales promotion support device 5 of the reservation information indicated by the reservation symbol Q1, and the sales promotion support device 5 instructs the second terminal device 3 to transport the item that the customer wishes to try on.
For example, when a candidate item to be tried on is selected and confirmed on the first terminal device 2, reservation information may be directly notified to the sales promotion support device 5, and the sales promotion support device 5 may then instruct the second terminal device 3 to transport the item that the customer wishes to try on.
In this way, the prospective purchaser M1 can request to try on the clothes from his/her home or a facility other than the facility S without going to the counter D.
However, as mentioned above, there is a possibility that a prospective purchaser who has requested a try-on may not show up and cancel the request, so it is preferable to display the reservation figure Q1 shown in FIG.
Then, by notifying the sales promotion support device 5 of the reservation information indicated by the reservation figure Q1 from the second terminal device 3, the sales promotion support device 5 can determine that the prospective purchaser has visited the counter D, and can send transportation instructions to the second terminal device 3 at that timing.
In this case, if the first terminal device 2 notifies the sales promotion support device 5 of the candidate images to be tried on and the reservation number, the reservation information indicated by the reservation figure Q1 can be information that identifies the reservation, such as the reservation number. Furthermore, the second terminal device 3 that reads the reservation figure Q1 can send transport instructions to the sales promotion support device 5 simply by notifying the second terminal device 3 of the reservation number.
In FIG. 1, the counter D and fitting rooms R1 and R2 are located in the same facility S as the stores S1 to S7, but they may be located in a different building.
FIG. 10 is an example of a screen of the first terminal device of the sales promotion support system shown in FIG. 1, and is a screen on which an identification graphic displayed on a tag attached to an item that the customer wishes to try on is photographed.
As described above, master data of the stores S1 to S7 (management data of products sold at the stores S1 to S7) is stored in the storage means 57. In addition, the storage means 57 stores, as master data, identification figures P12a (e.g., barcodes) displayed on tags attached to products sold at the stores S1 to S7 in association with store and product information.
For example, an identification figure P12a as shown in FIG. 10 is captured by the imaging means of the first terminal device 2, and the captured image is transmitted to the sales promotion support device 5. The sales promotion support device 5 then refers to the information stored in the memory means 57 to determine the store (stores S1 to S7) and product associated with the identification figure P12a shown in the captured image. In other words, the sales promotion support device 5 identifies information about the name of the product, the store in which the product tagged with the identification figure is sold, and so on.
As a result, even if the prospective purchaser M1 photographs only the identification figure P12a displayed on the tag attached to the product that he or she wishes to try on, the sales promotion support device 5 can instruct the second terminal device 3 to transport the product.
Therefore, the prospective purchaser M1 can try on the product (the clothing he/she wishes to try on) having a tag with the identification figure P12a photographed in the store with a simpler operation.
In addition, by centrally managing information on products sold at stores S1 to S7 in the storage means 57, it is possible to accurately identify the target product from among multiple products that have tags showing the identification graphic P12a, even if the identification graphic (barcode) specifications are different.
The master data is updated in the storage means 57 by the person in charge (person in charge) of each of the stores S1 to S7, for example, when new products arrive or when products are sold.
FIG. 11 shows an example of a screen of the first terminal device of the sales promotion support system shown in FIG. 1, where (A) is a screen showing an overall image of clothing, and (B) is a screen showing information about products related to the product shown in the overall image.
Here, the storage means 57 stores master data for stores S1 to S7, as well as information on the types, brands, sizes, colors, etc. of multiple products sold at stores S1 to S7.
Information on the type of product is, for example, information such as outerwear, knitwear, shirts, etc. as shown in Figure 9 (B). Furthermore, when the type is outerwear, information on more specific types such as jackets, coats, jumpers, etc. can also be stored. Of course, information on types that are even more specific (for example, coats can be subdivided into trench coats, peacoats, duffle coats, etc.) can also be stored.
Moreover, the size information of a product is information such as S/M/L if the product is clothing, and information such as 24 cm/24.5 cm/25 cm if the product is shoes.
In addition, the color information of the product can be categorized not only by color such as navy/gray/beige/black, but also by broader concepts such as warm colors and cool colors.
In addition, the storage means 57 also stores product information such as whether the item is men's/women's/unisex, material, and whether it is long sleeved or short sleeved.
Then, based on this information stored in the storage means 57 and the overall image of the product sent from the first terminal device 2, the sales promotion support device 5 extracts information on products related to (similar to) the product shown in the overall image from among the products whose information exists in the master data (i.e., products sold at stores S1 to S7). The extracted information is sent to the first terminal device 2, and an image P23 of the similar product is displayed on the screen 2a (see FIG. 11 (B)).
This allows the prospective purchaser M1 to know information about products that appear in the overall product image transmitted from the first terminal device 2, i.e., products that are similar to the product of interest photographed by the prospective purchaser M1.
Therefore, if the prospective purchaser M1 finds an item that interests him/her among the item information provided by the sales promotion support device 5, he/she can try it on immediately on the spot, thereby increasing the possibility that the prospective purchaser M1 will come across the item he/she wants.
When extracting information on related products, the sales promotion support device 5 can use recommendations based on information such as product type, brand, size, and color stored in the storage means 57, or can use AI (Artificial Intelligence), etc.
For example, if a khaki trench coat appears in the overall image of a product sent from the first terminal device 2, the sales promotion support device 5 can extract products that are of the type trench coat and khaki in color based on the information stored in the memory means 57.
At this time, as shown in FIG. 11 (B), information on multiple products (image P23 of multiple similar products) can be extracted and transmitted to the first terminal device 2 (displayed on the screen 2a of the first terminal device 2).
The present invention is suitable for stores that sell products that can be tried on, such as clothing, accessories, and shoes.
