  • Flap 108b is configured so that increased air pressure that results from a fire moves the curtain and urges the flap 108b into sealing engagement with foot 612b provided on the of leg 610b.
  • Legs 610a, 610b form a passage 611 in which the end portion 106 of curtain 100 is located.
  • the sealing engagement between the feet 612a, 612b and the respective flaps 108a, 108b provides protection against the passage of smoke. Flaps 108a, 108b are urged into contact with the respective feet 612a, 612b when there is a sufficient positive air pressure, such as occurs in the event of a fire.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil de barrière à la fumée. L'appareil de barrière à la fumée comprend un rideau mobile entre une position rétractée et une position déployée dans laquelle le passage de fumée est empêché, le rideau étant fixé à un rouleau qui peut tourner pour déplacer le rideau entre la position rétractée et la position déployée, le rouleau étant situé à l'intérieur d'un récipient ; et au moins un moyen d'étanchéité de récipient pour former un joint d'étanchéité avec une surface du récipient, empêchant ainsi le passage de fumée à travers celui-ci.
