Abstract

Divers aspects de la présente divulgation concernent un équipement utilisateur (UE) et un procédé de communication sans fil. Le procédé consiste à recevoir, en provenance d'une première station de base, un signal de référence transmis sur une fréquence porteuse connue, avec un nombre entier inconnu, N, de cycles entre la première station de base et l'UE. Le procédé consiste à recevoir, en provenance d'un serveur de localisation, un message contenant des informations d'assistance correspondant à une pluralité d'unités de référence de positionnement (PRU) ayant des emplacements connus à proximité de l'UE.
