Definitions
- the present invention relates to a female water sports urination device and restraint system; in which neoprene suits or other fabrics are used, through which urine cannot freely escape to the outside, that is, outside the interior space delimited between the user's skin and the neoprene suit.
- neoprene suits or other fabrics are used, through which urine cannot freely escape to the outside, that is, outside the interior space delimited between the user's skin and the neoprene suit.
- Some female urinary devices are also known, but none specifically designed for use with wetsuits in water activities. Its use would not be applicable in this type of medium, due to its size, shape, hardness, form of attachment to the body, position of the user when urinating, etc.
- the invention proposes a female urination device for water sports and a fastening system; where the urination device comprises a receiving body with a collecting hole, and an evacuation tube whose internal conduit flows into the collector hole; where the receiving body and the evacuation tube are made of elastic and flexible materials.
- the receiving body has a perimeter edge that is configured to seal against a user's perimeter area around the user's vulva.
- the perimeter edge delimits an mouth of the collecting hole that is configured so that the user's urine passes into the collecting hole, and from there to the evacuation tube.
- the evacuation tube includes sealing means that block the passage of liquid fluid, at least from the outside to the inside of the collecting hole.
- said means for sealing the evacuation tube comprise a non-return valve that allows the passage of liquid fluid in the direction from inside the collecting hole to the outside.
- the receiving body and the evacuation tube comprise a single integral piece, while in a second embodiment of the invention the receiving body and the evacuation tube are two independent pieces; where in this second embodiment the evacuation tube is fitted tightly in an orifice of the receiving body.
- the evacuation tube includes a first inlet end that opens into the collecting hole and a second outlet end that includes a slotted narrowing and a perimeter flange located around the evacuation tube; where the function of said perimeter flange is to act as a stop to prevent the evacuation tube from entering the interior of the neoprene suit.
- the evacuation tube can also comprise a tubular structure without the slotted narrowing, while the perimeter flange can be located at the second outlet end or in another part of the evacuation tube.
- the receiving body of the urination device is secured by a garment that It may be an undergarment such as a swimsuit/panties, or a neoprene water sports garment; where the internal conduit of the evacuation tube of the urination device passes through the neoprene water sports garment in both cases, protruding from the outside of it.
- a garment that It may be an undergarment such as a swimsuit/panties, or a neoprene water sports garment; where the internal conduit of the evacuation tube of the urination device passes through the neoprene water sports garment in both cases, protruding from the outside of it.
- the receiving body of the urination device is integrated into the undergarment; while in another embodiment of the invention, the receiving body of the urination device is integrated into the neoprene water sports garment; so that in both cases the receiving body and the corresponding garment form a single piece where the garment is fused with said receiving body. It is also possible that the user's corresponding garment is attached or attached to the receiving body of the urination device in ways other than the fusion described.
- the evacuation tube of the urination device fits tightly in a perforation of the neoprene water sports garment; so that in a first option when the receiving body is attached to the undergarment, the evacuation tube fits in said perforation, while in a second option, the undergarment is dispensed with, with which the evacuation tube fits in said perforation of the neoprene water sports garment.
- the device of the invention can be used both in a vertical and horizontal position, since the pressure of the water and its anatomical coupling to the user's body favors the urine to be evacuated through the evacuation tube.
- the device of the invention can be made in a single piece and with materials of elasticity/flexibility/softness, etc., more suitable for comfortable use.
- the design of the device of the invention can be varied depending on where it is attached: neoprene suit, swimsuit, thong, straps, shorts, etc.
- the receiving body is made of a soft, flexible and waterproof material and suitable for skin and mucous membranes, which adapts around the vulva, but adding a small cavity or internal cavity, the bottom of which opens into the evacuation tube in its central part, so that the urine-receiving body seals the entire perimeter (helped by the pressure of the water and the curved-convex perimeter edge) and favors the exit of urine through the evacuation tube with a flexible structure.
- the use of the device of the invention represents a great advance in hygiene, since each user could Use your own urinary device inside the wetsuit provided.
- the device of the invention is very simple, using water and an appropriate cleaning/disinfection product (depending on the fabric/material from which it is made).
- the urination device When the urination device is not attached to the neoprene suit or pants, it is necessary to make a hole in it to be able to remove the urine evacuation tube to the outside.
- the material of the device of the invention must be suitable so as not to cause irritation in the area of contact with the user's skin. In addition, it must be soft and flexible to avoid discomfort when walking, flapping or performing any movement, so that if the appropriate material is not used, the device could cause discomfort or friction on the skin.
- the dimensions of the urination device must be appropriate, there being different sizes.
- the urine collection hole found in the receiving body must be reduced (approximately 1 cm away from the exit of the urethra) so that its use does not cause discomfort in the area. If the evacuation tube that carries urine to the outside is open, the evacuation of urine will be effective and without difficulty. In summary, each user must find the appropriate size of the device of the invention and become familiar with its use.
- Figure 1. Shows a perspective view of the female urination device for water sports, object of the invention.
- Figure 2. Shows a front view of the application of the device of the invention to a user wearing a neoprene suit.
- Figure 3. Represents a plan view that basically shows the contact area of the device of the invention on the user's skin, around her vulva.
- the female urination device for water sports comprises a urine receiving body 1 9 and an evacuation tube 2 that can be assembled together in a sealed manner, or can form a single integral piece.
- the device of the invention is applicable to users 7 who use neoprene suits 8 while practicing water sports.
- the receiving body 1 has a container structure with a collecting hole 4; where said container structure is delimited by a perimeter edge 3 with a closed contour.
- the receiving body 1 has an oval-shaped plantar configuration and is configured to be mounted around the vulva 7a of the user 7, surrounding it and coupling to the anatomy of the user through the perimeter edge 3 of the receiving body 1 that seals an area 6 closed contour around the vulva 7a of user 7, approximately 1 cm. of it all around it.
- the perimeter edge 3 of the receiving body 1 has a rounded curved-convex profile.
- the receiving body 1 is made of a flexible, soft and waterproof material, so as to make it difficult for the urine 9 to escape through the coupling and perimeter contact area around the vulva 7a of the user 7.
- the receiving body 1 with its collecting hole 4 has adequate dimensions so that it does not bother or cause friction on the legs or groin of the user 7 when she is practicing water sports by moving her legs and other parts of her body.
- the bottom of the collecting hole 4 of the receiving body 1 has a hole 5 in which the evacuation tube 2, which is made of a flexible tube, fits tightly. that goes through the wetsuit 8 or pants.
- the receiving body 1 does not include said hole 5, so that in this case the internal conduit of the evacuation tube 2 opens directly into the collecting hole 4.
- the evacuation tube 2 preferably narrows at its mouth to the outside to make it difficult for water to enter when the user is practicing water sports.
- it is made of a flexible material that allows it to be easily bent so that it does not cause friction or discomfort between the user's legs 7, so that it can be discreetly camouflaged if desired and/or to prevent the entry of water from the outside (which could also be achieved with other methods, such as the use of a flapper or a non-return valve.
- the part of the device that is attached to the undergarment 13, or the wetsuit 8 is the receiving body 1.
- the evacuation tube 2 includes a first inlet end that opens into the collection hole 4 and a second outlet end that includes a slotted narrowing 12 and a pehmetral flange 11 around the evacuation tube 2; where the function of said pehmetral flange 11 is to act as a stop to prevent the evacuation tube 2 from being introduced into the neoprene suit 8, mainly when the user bends down.
- the receiving body 1 of the urination device is supported by a garment selected from an undergarment 13, or a garment for water sports of neoprene 8 (wetsuit); where in all cases the internal conduit of the evacuation tube 2 passes through the neoprene water sports garment 8, protruding from the outside of it.
- the receiving body 1 of the urination device is integrated into the undergarment 13, while in another embodiment the receiving body 1 of the urination device is integrated into the neoprene water sports garment.
- the evacuation tube 2 of the urination device fits tightly in a perforation 10 of the neoprene water sports garment 8; so that in a first option when the receiving body 1 is attached to the undergarment 13, the evacuation tube 2 fits in said perforation 10, while in a second option, the undergarment 13 is dispensed with, whereby the evacuation tube 2 fits in said perforation 10 of the neoprene water sports garment 8.
