Definitions
- the present invention relates to a lamp mounting structure, and for example, to a lamp mounting structure for attaching a vehicle lamp to a vehicle body.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a structure in which four brackets are provided that protrude from a lamp body toward the rear of the vehicle, and a headlamp is attached to the vehicle body by fixing each bracket to the vehicle body.
- the present invention has been made in view of these circumstances, and one exemplary purpose thereof is to provide a new lamp mounting structure that can improve the vibration resistance of the lamp.
- a lamp mounting structure includes a vehicle lamp, a first member that constitutes the frame of the vehicle body, and a second member that constitutes the exterior of the vehicle body.
- the vehicle lamp includes a first mounting part that is attached to the first member or the second member directly or through another part, and a second mounting part that is attached to the first member directly or through another part. It has an attachment part, a third attachment part, and a fourth attachment part attached to the second member directly or via another part.
- the light fixture mounting structure connects the respective mounting positions of the first mounting part, the second mounting part, the third mounting part, and the fourth mounting part when the vehicle light fixture is viewed from above in the vertical direction.
- a lamp unit or an electronic control unit constituting the vehicle lamp is included in the rectangular area.
- a relatively heavy unit such as a lamp unit or an electronic control unit is included in a rectangular area connecting the mounting positions of the four mounting parts when the vehicle lamp is viewed from above in the vertical direction. There is. Therefore, even if vertical vibrations are applied to the vehicle lamp, the entire vehicle lamp is less likely to tilt, and vibration resistance is improved.
- This lamp mounting structure includes a vehicle lamp, a first member that constitutes the frame of the vehicle body, and a second member that constitutes the exterior of the vehicle body.
- the vehicle lamp includes a first mounting part that is attached to the first member or the second member directly or through another part, and a second mounting part that is attached to the first member directly or through another part. It has an attachment part, a third attachment part, and a fourth attachment part attached to the second member directly or via another part.
- the vehicle lamp is configured such that its center of gravity is located therein.
- the center of gravity of the vehicle lamp is included in a rectangular area connecting the mounting positions of the four mounting portions when the vehicle light is viewed from above in the vertical direction. Therefore, even if vertical vibrations are applied to the vehicle lamp, the entire vehicle lamp is less likely to tilt, and vibration resistance is improved.
- the vehicle lamp is provided with a first mounting part, a second mounting part, and a third mounting part in order from the rear of the vehicle, and the fourth mounting part is provided with the first mounting part and the third mounting part. It may be arranged further forward of the vehicle than the line connecting the parts. This makes it possible to realize a relatively wide rectangle that includes each unit and the center of gravity.
- the second attachment part may be arranged on the vehicle rear side with respect to the line connecting the first attachment part and the third attachment part. This makes it possible to realize a relatively wide rectangle that includes each unit and the center of gravity.
- the second member may be arranged to cover the vehicle lamp from above. Thereby, the fourth mounting portion can be fixed to the second member above the vehicle lamp.
- the first mounting part is mounted from the side of the vehicle, the second mounting part is mounted from above the vehicle, and the third mounting part is mounted from above the vehicle.
- the mounting direction of the fourth mounting portion may be from the front of the vehicle. This improves workability when attaching the vehicle lamp to the first member and the second member.
- the vibration resistance of the lamp can be improved.
- FIG. 2 is a top view schematically showing main parts of the lamp mounting structure according to the present embodiment.
- FIG. 2 is a side view of the lamp mounting structure shown in FIG. 1 when viewed from the direction of arrow A.
- FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB of the headlamp unit shown in FIG. 1.
- FIG. 1 is a top view schematically showing main parts of the lamp mounting structure according to the present embodiment.
- FIG. 2 is a side view of the lamp mounting structure shown in FIG. 1 when viewed from the direction of arrow A.
- FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB of the headlamp unit shown in FIG. 1.
- the vehicular lamp according to this embodiment is a headlamp placed on the left and right sides of the front of the vehicle.
- the light fixture mounting structure for mounting this headlamp on the vehicle body will be described below.
- Vehicle lights such as headlamps are relatively large and heavy units that are attached to a vehicle. Therefore, depending on the location where the vehicle lamp is attached to the vehicle body, the weight balance of the entire unit may be biased, making it susceptible to vehicle vibrations. Therefore, the inventor of the present application conducted extensive studies regarding the vehicle body parts and the position to which the vehicle lamp is attached, and came up with the present invention.
- FIG. 1 is a top view schematically showing the main parts of the lamp mounting structure according to the present embodiment.
- FIG. 2 is a side view of the lamp mounting structure shown in FIG. 1, viewed from the direction of arrow A.
- FIG. 3 is a BB sectional view of the headlamp unit shown in FIG. 1. Note that the vehicle lamp shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is a right side headlamp.
- the light fixture mounting structure 10 shown in FIG. 1 includes a headlamp 12, a radiator core support 14 as a first member constituting the frame of the vehicle body, and a fender 16 as a second member constituting the exterior of the vehicle body. Be prepared.
- the first member may be a front cross member.
- the second member may be another part around the fender.
- the headlamp 12 includes a lamp body 18 made of resin, a transparent cover 20 that covers the opening of the lamp body 18, a lamp unit 22 disposed inside the lamp body 18, and a lamp.
- An electronic control unit 24 fixed to the lower part of the body 18 is provided.
- the lamp unit 22 is, for example, a unit that uses a light emitting element such as an LED as a light source.
- the lamp body 18 which constitutes a part of the headlamp 12 , has a first bracket 26 as a first attachment part attached to the fender 16 and a second bracket 26 as a second attachment part attached to the radiator core support 14 . It has a bracket 28, a third bracket 30 as a third attachment part, and a fourth bracket 32 to which the fender 16 is attached.
- Each bracket provided at a predetermined position on the lamp body 18 is attached to the radiator core support 14 or fender 16 directly or via other parts. Thereby, the lamp body 18 is fixed to the vehicle body.
- the second bracket 28 is fastened to the radiator core support 14 with bolts or the like.
- the fourth bracket 32 is fastened to a fender bracket 34 fixed to the tip of the fender 16 with a bolt 36.
- the lamp mounting structure 10 includes a first bracket 26, a second bracket 28, a third bracket 30, and a
- the lamp unit 22 and electronic control unit 24 that constitute the headlamp 12 are included in a rectangular region R connecting the mounting positions of the fourth brackets 32.
- the region R may include all or a part of the lamp unit 22 and the electronic control unit 24.
- the shape and weight balance of the headlamp 12 and the arrangement of each bracket may be selected so that the center of gravity G of the headlamp 12 is included in the rectangular region R.
