Definitions
- the present invention relates to a pants-type absorbent article, a package for a pants-type absorbent article, an absorbent pad, and a package for an absorbent pad.
- Patent Document 1 For absorbent articles, there is a known technique for improving leak-proofing properties and fit by deforming the absorbent body into a predetermined shape by bending or the like when worn.
- Patent Document 1 only describes that a mark is provided in order to quickly and reliably attach the pad and disposable diaper to an appropriate position. Therefore, when an inner pad (absorbent pad) is used in a layered manner inside a disposable diaper (pants-type absorbent article), there is a risk that the disposable diaper and the inner pad may be deformed differently. If this happens, the unevenness that occurs in different positions between the disposable diaper and the absorbent pad will overlap in the thickness direction, increasing the stiffness felt by the wearer, and canceling out the ideal deformation that conforms to the wearer's body. The fit to the body may deteriorate.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to reduce the stiffness that a wearer feels when using an absorbent pad layered on the inside of a pants-type absorbent article.
- the objective is to improve the fit to the wearer while reducing the discomfort.
- the main invention for achieving the above object is a pants-type absorbent article that has a longitudinal direction and a width direction in an unfolded state and includes an absorbent core, which has a longitudinal direction and a width direction in an unfolded state, and has an absorbent core.
- the absorbent pad including the elastic core When the absorbent pad including the elastic core is placed on the side of the skin and worn, the absorbent core contacts a convex portion of the absorbent pad that deforms in a convex shape toward the skin at the crotch area.
- the pants-type absorbent article is characterized in that a pants-side deformation guide portion that deforms the absorbent core in a convex shape toward the skin is provided inside the outer edge of the absorbent core.
- the fit to the wearer can be improved while reducing the stiff feeling felt by the wearer.

- the pad 2 can be placed on the skin side of the pants-type diaper 1 and worn. By stacking the pad 2 on the inside of the diaper 1, only the pad 2 can be replaced, and the diaper 1 can be used for a long period of time. Therefore, the number of times the pants-type diaper 1, which requires taking off pants, etc., can be reduced can be reduced. Moreover, even if excreted liquid overflows from the pad 2, the diaper 1 can catch the excreted liquid, so that leakage into pants or the like can be suppressed.

- the crotch area 1C of the diaper 1 is as shown in FIG. 9A.
- the absorbent core 31 of the diaper 1 is deformed in a convex manner toward the skin so that the absorbent cores 411 and 421 come into contact with the convex portion T2 of the pad 2, which deforms in a convex manner toward the skin.
- the guide portions 33 and 34 are provided.
- the pants-side deformation guiding parts 33 and 34 are provided inside the outer edge of the absorbent core 31, and as shown in FIG. It has a side deformation guiding region 33 and a central deformation guiding portion 34 extending in the longitudinal direction (details will be described later).
- the pad 2 of the present embodiment when the pad 2 of the present embodiment is placed on the skin side of a pants-type absorbent article such as the diaper 1 of the present embodiment and worn, the crotch area 2C of the pad 2 is as shown in FIG. 9A.
- the "pad side deformation guide part” deforms the absorbent cores 411 and 421 in a convex shape toward the skin so that the absorbent core 31 contacts the convex portion T1 of the diaper 1 that deforms in a convex shape toward the skin. 43, 44''.
- the pad-side deformation guiding parts 43 and 44 are provided inside the outer edges of the absorbent cores 411 and 421, and as shown in FIG. It has a pad-side deformation guiding region 43 and a central deformation guiding part 44 extending in the longitudinal direction (details will be described later).
- the crotch portion 2C of the pad 2 refers to a portion that overlaps the constricted portion 40c in the longitudinal direction when the central portion of the absorbent cores 411, 421 in the longitudinal direction is constricted.
- the crotch area is 2C.
- the two central regions (1/2 region) when the pad 1 is divided into four in the longitudinal direction are defined as the crotch region 2C.
- the skin side surface of the convex portion T1 formed on the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are At least a portion of the non-skin side surfaces of the convex portions T2 formed in the convex portions T2 are in contact with each other. That is, the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are deformed so that at least a portion of the protrusion T1 of the diaper 1 enters inside the protrusion T2 of the pad 2.
- the convex portions T1 and T2 having the same shape are formed at the same position on the diaper 1 and the pad 2 that are worn one on top of the other.
- the convex portions T2 and the convex portions T2 of the pad 2 can assist each other in deformation, making it easier to form the convex portions T1 and T2 that are larger and have desired shapes. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 9A, the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are easily deformed into a shape that conforms to the wearer's crotch area, improving the fit to the wearer.
- FIG. 9A the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are easily deformed into a shape that conforms to the wearer's crotch area, improving the fit to the wearer.
- the diaper 1 and pad 2 are folded in the width direction at the center in the width direction, and the width of the diaper 1 and pad 2 is reduced, resulting in a stiff feeling felt by the wearer (in the thighs). (feeling of pressure on the body) can be reduced.
- the convex portions T1 and T2 having similar shapes are formed in contact with each other, the convex portion T1 of the diaper 1 and the convex portion T2 of the pad 2 can maintain their convex shapes. Therefore, the protrusions T1, T2 are not easily crushed even by the movement of the wearer, and stable protrusions T1, T2 are easily formed. In other words, the fit to the crotch area is maintained even while the diaper 1 and pad 2 are being worn.
- the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are folded in the width direction and their width is reduced, contact between the diaper 1 and the pad 2 on the thighs of the wearer can be reduced. Therefore, when putting on the diaper 1 and the pad 2, it becomes easier to pull up the diaper 1 and the pad 2, improving the ease of putting on the diaper. Furthermore, while wearing the diaper 1 and the pad 2, the wearer can easily close their legs, making it easier for the wearer to perform movements such as walking or standing up.
- the diaper 1 and the pad 2 may be deformed, for example, when worn, following the diaper 1 being deformed in a convex shape toward the skin, and the pad 2 may be deformed in a convex shape toward the skin. That is, the pad 2 may be pushed up toward the skin side by the convex portion T1 of the diaper 1, thereby forming the convex portion T2 of the pad 2.
- the pad 2 may first be deformed into a convex shape by the force from the wearer's thigh, and the diaper 1 may be deformed into a convex shape following the deformation.
- the diaper 1 and the pad 2 may be deformed into a convex shape at the same timing.
- the diaper 1 of this embodiment includes the pants-side deformation guide parts 33 and 34, the deformation direction can be changed after wearing an absorbent pad such as the pad 2 of this embodiment by placing it on the side of the skin.
- a deformation direction identification test (details will be described later) is performed, the following results are obtained. That is, the pants-side deformation guiding parts 33 and 34 adjust the absorbency of the diaper 1 so that the deformation direction in the thickness direction of the diaper 1 is the same as the deformation direction in the thickness direction of the pad 2 with a probability of 75% or more. Core 31 is deformed.
- the pad 2 of this embodiment includes the pad-side deformation guide parts 43 and 44, it can be deformed after being placed on the skin side of a pants-type absorbent article such as the diaper 1 of this embodiment and worn.
- a deformation direction identification test is performed to identify the direction, the following results are obtained. That is, the absorbency of the pad 2 is adjusted by the pad-side deformation guiding parts 43 and 44 so that the deformation direction of the pad 2 in the thickness direction is the same as the deformation direction of the diaper 1 in the thickness direction with a probability of 75% or more. Cores 411 and 421 are deformed.
- the convex portion For example, the determination is made based on the number of convex portions T1) that are convex toward the skin side.
- the determination is made based on the number of convex portions (for example, convex portions T2 convex toward the skin side) formed on the pad 2 after being attached to the skin side of the diaper 1.
- the fact that there is only one convex portion means that the diaper 1 and the pad 2 cancel out each other's deformation, and instead of forming multiple small concave and convex portions as shown in FIG. 8, as shown in FIG. 9A.
- the diaper 1 and the pad 2 have convex portions formed in the same position and in the same deformation direction. Therefore, when the number of convex portions formed on the diaper 1 or the pad 2 is one, it is assumed that the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are deformed in the same direction in the thickness direction.
- the heights h1 and h2 of the highest projections formed on the diaper 1 or pad 2 are as follows:
- the height of the convex portion shall be 50% or more of the height of In other words, when the number of protrusions formed other than the highest protrusion is zero, or when only protrusions with a height of less than 50% are formed other than the highest protrusion, the thickness of the diaper 1 and the pad 2 Assume that the deformation direction in the horizontal direction is the same.
- the diaper 1 and the pad 2 inhibit each other's deformation compared to a diaper in which the probability of deforming in the same direction as the pad 2 in the deformation direction identification test is less than 75%.
- the probability is low, and the probability is high that the diaper 1 and the pad 2 have convex portions of the same shape (same deformation direction) formed at the same position. Therefore, in the diaper 1, the convex portions T1 and T2 having a desired shape (a shape that follows the wearer's crotch area) are easily formed by the pants side deformation guide portions 33 and 34 together with the pad 2 that is worn overlappingly, and the diaper 1 is easily worn. This improves the fit for the individual. Further, in the diaper 1, one relatively large convex portion T1, T2 is formed together with the pad 2, so the width of the diaper 1 and the pad 2 is reduced, and the stiffness can be reduced.
- the probability that the diaper 1 and the pad 2 inhibit each other's deformation is higher than that of a pad that has a less than 75% probability of deforming in the same direction as the diaper 1 in the deformation direction identification test.
- the diaper 1 and the pad 2 have convex portions of the same shape (same deformation direction) formed at the same position. Therefore, in the pad 2, the convex portions T1 and T2 having a desired shape (a shape that follows the wearer's crotch area) are easily formed by the pad-side deformation guide portions 43 and 44 together with the diaper 1 that is worn overlappingly, and the pad 2 is easily worn. This improves the fit for the individual.
- one relatively large convex portion T1, T2 is formed together with the diaper 1, so the width of the diaper 1 and the pad 2 is reduced, and the feeling of stiffness can be reduced.
- the diaper 1 of the present embodiment like the pad 2 of the present embodiment, has a certain area I3 of the six equally divided areas in the longitudinal direction (I1 to I6 in FIG. 10) in the unfolded and stretched state.
- I4 having pad-side deformation guide portions 43, 44 can be placed on the side of the skin.
- the diaper 1 includes at least a portion of the pant-side deformation guide portions 33 and 34 in a region overlapping with certain regions I3 and I4 of the pad 2.
- the pad 2 is folded in half in the longitudinal direction so that the lower end (longitudinal center CL1) is in contact with the longitudinal center (longitudinal CL) of the diaper 1. 2 is inserted into the diaper 1. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 10, the pad 2 is easily set in the diaper 1 so that the longitudinal and widthwise centers of the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are aligned.
- the pad side deformation guide parts 43, 44, the pants side deformation guide part 33, 34 are likely to be located in the same area.
- the pants side deformation guide portion 33, 34 preferably has a region that overlaps with the pad-side deformation guide portions 43 and 44.
- the center deformation guide part 34 of the pants side deformation guide part has a region that overlaps with the center deformation guide part 44 of the pad side deformation guide part. Further, the pants side deformation guiding region 33 on the front side in the longitudinal direction has a region overlapping with the pad side deformation guiding region 43 on the front side in the longitudinal direction.
- the pad 2 of this embodiment for example, like the diaper 1 of this embodiment, can be placed in one of six equally divided areas in the longitudinal direction (for example, O1 to O6 in FIG. 10) in the unfolded and stretched state. It can be placed on the skin side of the diaper 1, which includes the pant-side deformation guide portions 33 and 34 in the regions O3 and O4.

- the pad-side deformation guide portion 43, 44 preferably has a region that overlaps with the pants-side deformation guiding parts 33 and 34. As described above, in FIG. 10, the central deformation guide portions 34 and 44 overlap, and the front deformation guide regions 33 and 43 in the longitudinal direction overlap with each other. By doing so, when the wearer wears the pad 2 on the inside of the diaper 1, the pad side deformation guide parts 43, 44 and the pants side deformation guide parts 33, 34 are further positioned in the same area. It becomes easier to do.
- the pad-side deformation guide parts 43 and 44 and the pants-side deformation guide parts 33 and 34 are located in the same area, so that the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are stacked against each other.
- convex portions T1 and T2 having a desired shape are formed at the same position on the diaper 1 and the pad 2 by the respective deformation guide portions (33, 34, 43, 44). It becomes easier. Therefore, the fit to the wearer can be improved. Further, by forming the convex portions T1 and T2 having desired shapes as shown in FIG. 9A, the widths of the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are reduced, and the feeling of stiffness can be reduced.
- the pants-side deformation guide parts 33 and 34 that deform the absorbent core 31 in the same deformation direction as the deformation direction of the pad 2 with a probability of 75% or more; the pad-side deformation guide part 43, 44 are located)), it is sufficient that at least one of the conditions is satisfied.
- the pad 2 also has the above three characteristic parts (pad-side deformation guide parts 43 and 44 that deform the absorbent cores 411 and 421 so as to come into contact with the convex parts of the diaper 1), and has a probability of 75% or more that the diaper 1 pad-side deformation guide parts 43 and 44 that deform the absorbent cores 411 and 421 in the same deformation direction as the deformation direction of 43 and 44), it is sufficient that at least one of them is satisfied.

- the diaper 1 may include an absorbent pad that does not include a deformation inducing portion that deforms the absorbent core in the crotch region, or a deformation inducing portion that has a shape or configuration different from the pad side deformation inducing portions 43 and 44 of this embodiment.
- the convex part T1 of the same shape shape along the wearer's crotch area
- T2 is easily formed, which reduces the feeling of stiffness and improves the fit to the wearer.
- the pad 2 of this embodiment can be used by being placed inside another pants-type absorbent article different from the diaper 1 of this embodiment.
- the pad 2 may be used in a pants-type absorbent article that does not include a deformation guide that deforms the absorbent core in the crotch area, or a deformation guide that has a shape or configuration different from the pants-side deformation guide parts 33 and 34 of this embodiment. It can be used in combination with a pants-type absorbent article.
- the pad 2 has the above-described pad-side deformation guiding parts 43 and 44, so that the pants-type absorbent article and the pad 2 are placed in the same position and have a similar shape (desired shape along the wearer's crotch area).
- the convex portions T1 and T2 are easily formed, which reduces the feeling of stiffness and improves the fit to the wearer.
- the diaper 1 of this embodiment and the pad 2 of this embodiment constitute a group of articles having the same brand name (description given to products with the same concept). Therefore, the shapes, configurations, and arrangement positions of the pants-side deformation guide parts 33 and 34 and the pad-side deformation guide parts 43 and 44 are similar (approximately the same). Therefore, by stacking and using the pad 2 of this embodiment on the inside of the diaper 1 of this embodiment, the above effects (convex portions of similar shapes at the same positions of the diaper 1 and pad 2) are further enhanced. The effect of making it easier to form) is easier to obtain.
- the package 211 includes a brand display section 212 that shows the common brand name of the diaper 1 and the pad 2 (for example, "Lifree (registered trademark)"), and an identification display section 213 that identifies the diaper 1 and the pad 2 (for example, It is preferable to include the name of the product or an indication such as "pants diaper”.
- the package 214 includes a brand display section 215 that shows the common brand name of the diaper 1 and the pad 2, and an identification display section 216 that identifies the diaper 1 and the pad 2 (for example, the name of the product, "urine absorbing pad", etc.). etc.).
- the "diaper 1 package 201" in which the diaper 1 is housed in the package 211 and the "pad 2 package 202" in which the pad 2 is housed in the package 214 constitute a packaging group.
- the package group is distributed, consumers who are considering the combination of pants-type diapers and absorbent pads will be able to purchase the diaper 1 of this embodiment and the pad 2 of this embodiment by using the same brand display parts 212 and 215. It becomes easier to use by selecting a set. Therefore, the above effects can be easily obtained when the diaper 1 of this embodiment and the pad 2 of this embodiment are used in a stacked manner.
- the identification display sections 213 and 216 can prevent the diaper 1 and the pad 2 from being purchased by mistake.
- the package 201 of the diaper 1 contains only the diaper 1 without containing the pad 2 in the package 211, and the package 201 contains only the pad 2 without containing the diaper 1 in the package 214.
- a package in which the diaper 1 of this embodiment and the pad 2 of this embodiment are housed in the same package may be distributed.
- the pants-side deformation guide section includes a pair of deformation guide regions 33 that are inclined outward in the longitudinal direction from the widthwise end side of the absorbent core 31 toward the center side, and are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction. There are two sets with one space between them.
- the pad-side deformation guide section includes a pair of deformation guide regions 43 that slope outward in the longitudinal direction from the widthwise end sides of the absorbent cores 411, 421 toward the center. , there are two sets spaced apart in the longitudinal direction.
- the deformation induction regions 33 and 43 of this embodiment are compressed grooves formed by compressing (embossed) at least a part of the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 in the thickness direction. It is made up of. Therefore, the deformation guiding regions 33, 43 have higher rigidity than the surrounding areas, and serve as starting points for deformation (bending) of the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421.
- the present invention is not limited to the above, and the deformation guiding region may have a rigidity difference from the surrounding area by, for example, lowering the basis weight of the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 compared to the surrounding area.
- the pair of deformation guiding regions 33 and 43 have a symmetrical shape with respect to the center line in the width direction of the diaper 1 or the pad 2. Further, the pair of deformation guiding regions 33, 43 on the front side and the pair of deforming guiding regions 33, 43 on the rear side form symmetrical shapes with respect to the longitudinal center lines CL, CL1 of the diaper 1 or the pad 2. are doing. Specifically, the deformation guiding region 33 of the diaper 1 is a linear region inclined with respect to the width direction, and the deformation guiding region 33 on one side in the width direction and the deformation guiding region 33 on the other side in the width direction are continuous. ing.
- the deformation inducing region 43 of the pad 2 is composed of two linear regions with different inclination angles from the end side in the width direction toward the center, and the deformation inducing region 43 on one side in the width direction and the deformation inducing region 43 on one side in the width direction and The deformation guiding regions 43 on the other side are spaced apart in the width direction.
- the shapes of the deformation guiding regions 33 and 43 illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 4 are merely examples, and the shape is not limited thereto.
- the deformation guiding regions 33 and 43 may be arc-shaped curved regions, good.
- the pair of deformation guiding regions 33 and 43 are provided on one side (front side) and the other side (rear side) in the longitudinal direction, a substantially diamond-shaped area surrounded by them can be formed as shown in the figure.
- convex portions T1 and T2 are formed to protrude toward the skin side. Due to the deformation guiding regions 33, 43, the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 do not simply bend in the width direction, but deform to protrude into a dome shape.
- the dome-shaped convex portions T1 and T2 are in close contact with each other over a wide area along the shape of the wearer's body, making it difficult to form a gap between them and the wearer's body. As a result, leakage can be suppressed.
- the pair of deformation guiding regions 33, 43 on the front side and the pair of deforming guiding regions 33, 43 on the rear side are arranged on both sides of the longitudinal center lines CL, CL1 of the diaper 1 or the pad 2. . Therefore, dome-shaped convex portions T1 and T2 are likely to be formed in the diaper 1 and the pad 2 at the portions that contact the wearer's crotch area.
- the deformation guiding regions 33 and 43 serve as starting points for folding when the convex portions T1 and T2 are formed due to the force acting to close the wearer's legs. Furthermore, the contraction force in the longitudinal direction of the leak-proof wall elastic member 14 of the diaper 1, the leak-proof wall elastic member 51 of the pad 2, and the non-skin side elastic member 52 also acts on the deformation guiding regions 33, 43, and the absorbent core 31, 411, and 421 are deformed using the deformation guiding regions 33, 43 as bending starting points, and convex portions T1, T2 are easily formed.
- the pad 2 has non-skin side elastic members 52 that expand and contract in the longitudinal direction on both sides in the width direction, but at least a part of the non-skin side elastic members 52 can be expanded and expanded. It is preferable that the absorbent cores 411 and 421 of the pad 2 do not overlap with each other.
- two non-skin-side elastic members 52 are lined up in the width direction on each side of the pad 2 in the width direction, and the outer non-skin-side elastic member 52 is connected to the absorbent cores 411, 421. They don't overlap. Therefore, the contraction of the non-skin side elastic member 52 can be prevented from being inhibited by the highly rigid absorbent cores 411, 421.
- the pad 2 has non-skin It is preferable that at least a portion of the side elastic member 52 (in FIG. 4, the outer non-skin side elastic member 52) does not overlap not only the pad 2 but also the absorbent core 31 of the diaper 1. By doing so, it is possible to suppress the contraction of the non-skin side elastic member 52 from being inhibited by the highly rigid absorbent core 31 of the diaper 1 that is supported from below the pad 2.
- the pad 2 can easily fit around the wearer's legs, and can easily deform using the deformation guiding region 43 of the pad 2 as a starting point for folding.
- the dome-shaped convex portion T2 is easily formed.
- a design for example, a grid pattern
- a design sheet 7 may also be provided.
- the pants-side deformation guide part has a central deformation guide part 34 extending in the longitudinal direction at the center portion of the diaper 1 in the longitudinal direction and the width direction.
- the central deformation guide portion 34 has a lower basis weight (g/m 2 ) of the absorbent core 31 than the area adjacent from the outside in the width direction.
- the pad-side deformation guide part has a central deformation guide part 44 extending in the longitudinal direction at the central portion of the pad 2 in the longitudinal and width directions.
- the basis weight of the absorbent cores 411, 421 is lower than in the area adjacent from the outside in the width direction.
- the central deformation guide portions 34, 44 of this embodiment are slits (areas of zero basis weight) that penetrate the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 in the thickness direction, but are not limited to this. 411 and 421 may partially exist. Moreover, the central deformation guide portion 34 of the diaper 1 has a rectangular shape that is long in the longitudinal direction. Since the absorbent cores 411 and 421 of the pad 2 have a two-layer structure, the first absorbent core 411 and the second absorbent core 421 have central deformation guide portions 441 and 442, respectively.
- the skin-side central deformation guide portion 441 has an oval shape along the longitudinal direction, and a substantially hourglass shape with a constricted central portion in the longitudinal direction.
- the central deformation guide portion 442 on the non-skin side has an oval shape along the longitudinal direction.
- the shapes of the central deformation guide portions 34 and 44 illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 4 are merely examples, and the present invention is not limited thereto.
- the central deformation guide portions 34 and 44 serve as the starting points for folding, and the widthwise central portions of the absorbent cores 31, 411, and 421 fold in the width direction, as shown in FIG. 9A.
- Convex portions T1 and T2 are formed. Therefore, the crotch portions of the diaper 1 and pad 2 can easily fit to the wearer's crotch portion. Furthermore, since the widths of the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are shortened, the feeling of stiffness can be reduced.
- the central deformation guide portions 34 and 44 are composed of low basis weight portions, urine can be quickly drawn into and diffused into the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the accumulation of liquid on the surfaces of the diaper 1 and the pad 2, and to suppress leakage.
- the present invention is not limited to this, and the central deformation guide portions 43 and 44 may be compressed grooves formed by embossing or the like.
- the central deformation guide portions 34, 44 are located between the pair of deformation guide regions 33, 43 on the front side and the pair of deformation guide regions 33, 43 on the rear side. Therefore, in the dome-shaped protrusions T1 and T2 raised by the deformation guide regions 33 and 43, portions corresponding to the peaks of the protrusions T1 and T2 are formed by the central deformation guide parts 34 and 44, respectively. Therefore, the protrusion of the convex portions T1 and T2 can be promoted.
- the width of the second absorbent core 422 on the non-skin side is the same as that of the first absorbent core 421 on the skin side. It should be smaller than the width.
- the pants-side deformation guide parts 33, 34 and the pad-side deformation guide parts 43, 44 have been described above, but these are just examples, and the pants-side deformation guide parts and the pad-side deformation guide part are the absorbent cores 31, 411 , 421 is not particularly limited as long as it promotes convex deformation toward the skin side.
- the diaper 1 or the pad 2 may be provided with only one of the pair of deformation guiding regions 33 and 43 and the central deformation guiding portions 34 and 44, or the pair of deformation guiding regions 33 and 43 may be provided only on one side in the longitudinal direction. Regions 33 and 43 may also be provided.
- the pair of diapers 1 when the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are positioned so that their longitudinal and widthwise centers are aligned in the unfolded and stretched state, the pair of diapers 1 have in the longitudinal direction
- the inner end P2 of the top of the deformation guide region 33 is located outside the inner end P1 of the top of the pair of deformation guide regions 43 of the pad 2, or the inner end P2 of the diaper 1 and the inner end P1 of the pad 2 It is good if they match (not shown).
- the deformation guiding region 33 of the diaper 1 is more likely to be located on the outside in the longitudinal direction than the deforming guiding region 43 of the pad 2, and a large dome-shaped convex portion T1 is formed in the diaper 1 in the longitudinal direction. It becomes easier. Therefore, the pad 2 is pushed up by the convex portion T1 of the diaper 1, and the convex portion T2 of the pad 2 is easily formed.
- the inner end P2 of the top of the pair of deformation guiding regions 33 of the diaper 1 may be located inside the inner end P1 of the top of the pair of deformation guiding regions 43 of the pad 2.
- the deformation guiding region 33 of the diaper 1 is more likely to be located inside in the longitudinal direction than the deforming guiding region 43 of the pad 2, and a large dome-shaped convex portion T2 is formed in the pad 2 in the longitudinal direction. It becomes easier. Therefore, the convex part T1 of the diaper 1 easily enters inside the convex part T2 of the pad 2, and the convex part T1 of the diaper 1 stably supports the convex part T2 of the pad 2 from below, and the convex part of the pad 2 Displacement of T2 in the longitudinal direction can be suppressed.
- the pair of deformation guidance regions 43 (FIG. 4) of the pad 2
- the inner ends of the tops of regions 33 and 43 are determined as follows. That is, a virtual line L is formed that connects the outer end pa in the width direction and the inner end pb in the width direction among the inner ends of the deformation guiding regions 33 and 43 in the longitudinal direction. The intersection of the virtual lines L is defined as the inner end of the top of the pair of deformation guiding regions 33 and 43.
- the diaper 1 has the following relationship with the pad 2 (absorbent pad) that is worn overlappingly. That is, as shown in FIG. 11, the widthwise length W1 of the absorbent core 31 of the diaper 1 at the longitudinal center CL of the diaper 1 in the unfolded and stretched state is equal to the widthwise length W1 of the absorbent core 31 of the diaper 1 in the longitudinal direction of the pad 2 in the unfolded and stretched state. It is preferable that the length in the width direction of the absorbent cores 411, 421 of the pad 2 at the center CL1 is equal to or less than W2 (W1 ⁇ W2).
- the pad 2 has the following relationship with the diaper 1 (pants-type absorbent article) that is worn overlappingly. That is, the widthwise length W2 of the absorbent cores 411, 421 of the pad 2 at the longitudinal center CL1 of the pad 2 in the unfolded and stretched state is equal to the length W2 in the longitudinal direction of the diaper 1 in the unfolded and stretched state.
- the widthwise length of the absorbent core 31 of the diaper 1 is preferably at least W1 (W2 ⁇ W1).
- the pad 2 is more likely to have a large protrusion T2 in the width direction. Therefore, the convex part T1 of the diaper 1 easily enters inside the convex part T2 of the pad 2, and the convex part T1 of the diaper 1 stably supports the convex part T2 of the pad 2 from below, and the convex part of the pad 2 Misalignment of T2 in the width direction can be suppressed.
- the absorbent core 31 of the diaper 1 has a substantially hourglass shape, and has a constricted portion 30c between both ends in the longitudinal direction, which is narrower in the width direction than both ends.
- the pants-side deformation guide parts 33 and 34 have a portion that overlaps the constriction part 30c in the longitudinal direction.
- the absorbent cores 411, 421 of the pad 2 also have a substantially hourglass shape, and have a constricted portion 40c between both ends in the longitudinal direction, which is narrower in the width direction than both ends.
- the pad-side deformation guide parts 43 and 44 have a portion that overlaps the constricted part 40c in the longitudinal direction. Note that when both the first absorbent core 411 and the second absorbent core 421, which have a two-layer structure, have a constricted portion, the pad-side deformation guide portions 43 and 44 are arranged in the constricted portion with the longer length in the longitudinal direction. It suffices to have at least a portion that overlaps with 40c, preferably a portion that overlaps with both of the constrictions.
- the constricted portions of the absorbent cores 31, 411, 412 transmit the force that closes the wearer's legs more easily than the unconstricted portions. Further, in the constricted portions 30c, 40c, the presence of the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 itself (basis weight) is small, so the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 are easily deformed. Therefore, the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 are easily deformed into a desired shape by the pants side deformation guide parts 33, 34 and the pad side deformation guide parts 43, 44, and the convex parts T1, T2 along the wearer's crotch area are formed. is more likely to form.
- the absorbent core 31 of the diaper 1 extends in the longitudinal direction at least at one longitudinal end (the front end in FIG. 2) of the pants-side deformation guide parts 33 and 34. It is preferable to have an end deformation guide portion 35 that exists and serves as a deformation starting point.
- the absorbent cores 411, 421 of the pad 2 are located at at least one longitudinal end (the front and rear ends in FIG. 4) of the pad-side deformation guide portions 43, 44. , it is preferable to have end deformation guide portions 45 and 46 extending in the longitudinal direction and serving as deformation starting points.
- the end deformation guide portions 35, 45, and 46 are portions where the absorbent cores 31, 411, and 421 begin to bend due to the difference in rigidity between the widthwise adjacent regions.
- the end deformation guide portion 35 of the diaper 1 and the end deformation guide portion 46 of the pad 2 are compressed grooves obtained by compressing at least a portion of the absorbent core 31, 411, 421 in the thickness direction.
- the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 since the density of the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 is high in the end deformation guiding parts 35, 46, which are compression grooves, the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 also function to diffuse the excreted liquid, and the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 can be effectively utilized.
- another end deformation guiding portion 45 of the pad 2 has a single layer of absorbent core (a portion where only the first absorbent core 411 exists) and has a low basis weight.
- the end deformation guiding parts 35 and 46 which are compressed grooves, serve as the starting points for folding, and the edges in the width direction of the end deformation guiding part 45, which have low rigidity (the boundary between the region with two layers of absorbent core and the region with one layer) ) is the starting point of the bend. Therefore, the longitudinal end portions of the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 are easily bent in the width direction using the end deformation guide portions 35, 45, 46 extending in the longitudinal direction as bending points. Thereby, the front end portions of the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 are easily deformed to follow the roundness of the wearer's lower abdomen. Similarly, the rear end portions of the absorbent cores 31, 411, 412 are easily deformed to follow the roundness of the wearer's buttocks. Therefore, the fit of the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 to the wearer is improved.
- the end deformation inducing portion 35 of the diaper 1 is provided at both sides in the width direction at the longitudinal end (the front end in FIG. 2) of the absorbent core 31. It is preferable that a pair of grooves are provided at the center side in the longitudinal direction and inclined outward in the width direction from the center side in the longitudinal direction to the outer side.
- the absorbent core 31 (absorbent main body 10) easily deforms into a shape similar to the shape that spreads in the width direction from the wearer's crotch region toward the groin region (or buttocks). Therefore, the absorbent core 31 can more easily conform to the wearer's inguinal region (lower abdomen) and buttocks.
- the end deformation guide portion 35 of the diaper 1 has a region overlapping with the end deformation guide portions 45 and 46 of the pad 2.
- the absorbent core 31 of the diaper 1 and the absorbent cores 411, 421 of the pad 2 are connected to the end deformation guide portion 35 located at the same position or close to each other. , 45 and 46 as the starting points for bending. Therefore, both the absorbent core 31 of the diaper 1 and the absorbent cores 411, 421 of the pad 2 are easily deformed into shapes that follow the wearer's groin and buttocks. Therefore, the fit is improved and the feeling of stiffness can be reduced.
- a pair of end deformation guide portions 35, 45, and 46 are provided on both sides in the width direction at the ends in the longitudinal direction, but the invention is not limited thereto.
- one end deformation guide portion may be provided at the center in the width direction at the end of the diaper 1 or pad 2 in the longitudinal direction. Further, the diaper 1 and the pad 2 do not need to have the end deformation guide portions 35, 45, and 46.
- the diaper 1 has a "pants side alignment display section" that is visible from the skin side
- the pad 2 has a "pad side alignment display section” that is visible from the skin side.
- the pants-side deformation guiding parts 33 and 34 are used as the pant-side alignment display parts
- the pad-side deformation guiding parts 43 and 44 are used as pants-side alignment display parts.
- the pair of deformation guiding regions 43) is used as a pad-side alignment display section.
- the topsheets 11, 3 may be compressed together with the absorbent cores 31, 411, 421 so that the visibility of the deformation guiding regions 33, 43 from the side of the skin is increased.
- the user can overlay the diaper 1 and pad 2 in appropriate positions using the pants side alignment display section (33, 34) and the pad side alignment display section (43, 44). . Therefore, the convex portions T1 and T2 having similar shapes (desired shapes created by the respective deformation guide portions) are easily formed at the same positions on the diaper 1 and the pad 2, and the fit to the wearer is improved. It can reduce the feeling of stiffness.
- the user is likely to be conscious of aligning the diaper 1 and the pad 2 so that the pants side alignment display section (33, 34) and the pad side alignment display section (43, 44) overlap. Therefore, when the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are positioned so that their longitudinal and widthwise centers are aligned in the unfolded and stretched state (FIG. 10), when viewed from above, the pant side alignment display portions (33, 34 ) and the pad-side alignment display section (43, 44) preferably have regions that overlap with each other.
- the diaper 1 and the pad 2 overlap.
- the pads 2 are likely to have an appropriate positional relationship (FIG. 10).
- the pants side positioning display section (33, 34) and the pad side positioning display section (43, 44) may not have an overlapping area. .
- the diaper 1 and pad 2 can be The configuration can be simplified.
- the pants side deformation guide parts 33 and 34 and the pad side deformation guide parts 43 and 44 of this embodiment have similar shapes, so that the user can easily recognize them as alignment marks.
- the pants-side deformation guide parts 33, 34 and the pad-side deformation guide parts 43, 44 there may be a pattern that serves as a mark for positioning (for example, the same mark or an arrow indicating the attachment position) or an attachment mark.
- the characters indicating the position may be the pants side positioning display section and the pad side positioning display section.
- the positioning display section may be provided only on one of the diaper 1 and the pad 2, or the positioning display section may not be provided on both the diaper 1 and the pad 2.

- a pad absorbent pad
- the subject sits on a chair with his or her feet shoulder-width apart. For example, the length from the outer edge of the left leg to the outer edge of the right leg should be equal to shoulder width. Then, pass your legs through the diaper 1 and pull it up to below your knees (see Figure 6).
- the subject inserts the folded pad into two through the waist opening BH of the diaper 1 while sitting on the chair. When the folded position of the pad comes into contact with the skin side of the diaper, the pad is unfolded and the non-skin side of the pad is aligned with the skin side of the diaper. When the pad or the diaper has bonding members 15 and 6, the pad and the diaper are fixed by the bonding members 15 and 6.
- the lower end of the diaper 1 is held with a jig 60 (for example, a jig 60 that holds the absorbent body from both sides in the width direction) so that the lower end (center position in the longitudinal direction) of the diaper 1 is maintained at the measurement width W3. ) to fix it.
- the jig 60 is preferably fixed to the diaper 1 at the lower side of the exterior member 20 (leg gathers) located on the outer side in the width direction than the absorbent main body 10.
- the pad 2 is removed from the diaper 1, and the width of the absorbent body 40 at the crotch area (center position in the longitudinal direction) of the pad 2 is maintained at the measurement width W3 as shown in FIG. 13C.
- the pad 2 is also fixed with a jig 60. (7)
- the width of the crotch of the diaper 1 and the pad 2 is maintained at the measured width W3, that is, when the unevenness formed on the diaper 1 and the pad 2 is maintained when worn, the convexity protrudes toward the skin side. Observe the parts (measure the number of protrusions and the height of the protrusions).
- the observation range of the convex portion is defined as a range of 20 mm longitudinally from the longitudinal center line CL of the absorbers 30, 40, and the convex portion is formed within the observation range.
- the heights h1 and h2 of the convex portions formed within the observation range (from the ground plane of the test table and the lower end of the diaper 1 or pad 2 to the apex of the convex portions T1 and T2) Measure the height of the
- the convex portion T1 (skin side) of the diaper 1 and the convex portion T2 (non-skin side) of the pad 2 are in contact with each other.
- a method for checking whether or not they are in contact for example, there is a method of checking based on the heights h1 and h2 of the convex portions of the diaper 1 and the pad 2. That is, when the height h1 of the convex portion T1 of the diaper 1 is equal to or greater than the value obtained by subtracting the thickness of the pad 2 from the height h2 of the convex portion T2 of the pad 2, it is assumed that they are in contact.
- the thickness of the pad 2 is the maximum thickness of the portion of the crotch portion 2C of the pad 2 where the absorbent cores 411 and 421 are present.
- the thickness can be measured by a well-known method, for example, using a measuring device (for example, PEACOCK DIALTHICKNESS GAUGE model T06795 or equivalent) using the pad 2 in the unfolded and stretched state, and the load at the time of measurement being 3 g/cm 2
- a measuring device for example, PEACOCK DIALTHICKNESS GAUGE model T06795 or equivalent
- An example of this method is to measure the Alternatively, when the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are overlapped, when the convex portion T2 is pressed from the skin side of the pad 2, there is a part where a dent is not formed in the pad 2 (a space is created between the pad 2 and the diaper 1). If there is a part that does not exist, it may be said that they are in contact with each other.
- FIG. 15A to 15C are diagrams showing the results of the deformation direction identification test.
- FIG. 16 is a diagram showing the results of stiffness during wear. Diapers and pads were actually manufactured and tests were conducted to determine the direction of deformation.
- the diaper and pad of the example are the diaper 1 of this embodiment and the pad 2 of this embodiment.
- the diaper and pad of the comparative example are pants-type disposable diapers that do not have the pants-side deformation inducing parts 33 and 34 of this embodiment, and are absorbent pads that do not have the pad-side deformation inducing parts 43 and 44 of this embodiment. be.
- the test was conducted with 35 subjects (28 adult males and 7 adult females).
- the breakdown of the waist sizes of the subjects was as follows: 6 subjects had size S to M, 5 subjects had size M, 15 subjects had size M to L, 5 subjects had size L, 3 subjects had size L to LL, and 1 subject had size LL. It is a name.
- Figure 15A shows that the highest convexity among the convexities formed within the observation range was identified, and convexities whose height was less than 50% of the height of that convexity were not counted as convexities. These are the results of the deformation direction identification test according to the present invention.
- Figure 15B shows that the highest convexity among the convexities formed within the observation range was identified, and convexities whose height was less than 20% of the height of that convexity were not counted as convexities. This is the result of the time.
- FIG. 15C shows the result of counting all the protrusions formed within the observation range, regardless of the height of the protrusions. That is, FIGS. 15B and 15C are the results of a deformation direction identification test conducted under stricter standards than the present invention (results of a test method in which multiple convex portions are easily identified and it is easy to determine that the deformation directions are different).
- the combination of the diaper 1 of this embodiment having the pants side deformation inducing parts 33 and 34 and the pad 2 of this embodiment having the pad side deformation inducing parts 43 and 44 is better than the diaper of the comparative example. It was found that the diaper and pad were more likely to deform in the same thickness direction in the crotch area than a combination of pads. Therefore, according to the combination of the diaper 1 and the pad 2 of this embodiment, convex portions having the same shape (convex toward the skin side) are easily formed in the same position without canceling out each other's convex portions, making it easy to wear. It can be said that the fit to the crotch area of the wearer is improved.
- test subjects 22 people who conducted the deformation direction identification test were shown the difference between when wearing the diaper 1 and pad 2 of the present embodiment in combination and when wearing the diaper and pad of the comparative example in combination. , and evaluated the feeling of stiffness. The stiffness was evaluated on a five-point scale (1 to 5 points), and the less stiff the product was, the lower the score was given.
- the stiffness evaluation score (3.64) for the combination of diaper 1 and pad 2 of this embodiment was higher than that for the combination of diaper and pad of the comparative example.
- the score (2.82) was lower, giving an evaluation result of less stiffness.
- the deformation direction of the diaper 1 in the thickness direction is the same as the deformation direction of the pad 2 in the thickness direction with a probability of 75% or more (preferably a probability of 83% or more in FIG. 15A).
- the diaper of the comparative example a diaper with a 69% probability of being deformed in the same direction as the deformation direction of the pad
- the deformation direction of the pad 2 in the thickness direction is the same as the deformation direction of the diaper 1 in the thickness direction with a probability of 75% or more (preferably a probability of 89% or more in FIG. 15A).
- the pad of the comparative example a diaper with a 60% probability of deforming in the same direction as the diaper
- the diaper 1 has a probability of 75% or more (preferably 83% in FIG. 15B) that the deformation direction of the diaper 1 in the thickness direction is the same as the deformation direction of the pad 2 in the thickness direction. It is preferable to include pants-side deformation guiding parts 33 and 34 that deform the absorbent core 31 so that the absorbent core 31 can be deformed.
- the deformation direction of the pad 2 in the thickness direction is the same as the deformation direction of the diaper 1 in the thickness direction with a probability of 75% or more (preferably 89% in FIG. 15B). It is preferable to include pad-side deformation guide parts 43 and 44 that deform the absorbent cores 411 and 421 so that the absorbent cores 411 and 421 are deformed.
- the diaper 1 has a probability of 75% or more (preferably 77% in FIG. 15C) that the deformation direction of the diaper 1 in the thickness direction is the same as the deformation direction of the pad 2 in the thickness direction. It is preferable to include pants-side deformation guiding parts 33 and 34 that deform the absorbent core 31 so that the absorbent core 31 can be deformed.
- the deformation direction of the pad 2 in the thickness direction is the same as the deformation direction of the diaper 1 in the thickness direction with a probability of 75% or more (preferably 83% in FIG. 15C). It is preferable to include pad-side deformation guide parts 43 and 44 that deform the absorbent cores 411 and 421 so that the absorbent cores 411 and 421 are deformed.
- the diaper 1 and the pad 2 are easily deformed into the ideal shapes of the convex portions T1 and T2, which improves the fit to the wearer and reduces the feeling of stiffness.
- the deformation direction will be the same as that of the pad or diaper that is worn overlappingly, compared to the comparative diaper and the pad of the comparative example, and the evaluation results of actually wearing the diaper show that it is less likely to be stiff. The results were obtained. From this point of view as well, it can be said that the feeling of stiffness can be reduced in the above case.

Abstract
