Abstract

Les dispositifs d'occlusion temporaire de la présente invention peuvent être utilisés en tant que garrot interne focalisé sur une région ou un vaisseau cible spécifique constituant une variante à un garrot classique pour contrôler un saignement majeur d'une extrémité suite à un traumatisme. Les dispositifs d'occlusion temporaire de l'invention peuvent fournir un procédé plus efficace, fiable et hautement ciblé pour contrôler une hémorragie d'un vaisseau sanguin majeur. En outre, contrairement à un garrot classique, le dispositif d'occlusion temporaire de la présente invention peut être utilisé même en présence d'une lésion de tissu mou.
