Abstract

La présente invention concerne un nanocomposite élastomère pour bande de roulement de pneu comprenant des nanotubes de carbone revêtus de polymère (CNT) sous forme de billes en tant que nanocharge qui offre une stabilité thermique supérieure, un module élevé et une faible perméabilité aux gaz. Le CNT revêtu de polymère fournit une excellente dispersion des charges dans le composé de caoutchouc. La présente invention concerne des nanocomposites à haute performance avec un remplacement partiel de charge de noir de carbone par une petite dose de CNT revêtu de polymère dans un système chargé de noir de carbone. L'invention utilise de 1,0 à 20,0 phr de NTC d'un diamètre allant jusqu'à 1 à 30 nm ; d'une longueur de 50 nanomètres à 500 micromètres.
