Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a bundle pack (10) of packages (11) for products of the cigarette industry. Adjacent packages (11) of the bundle pack (10) are connected together at least partly by glue (12) in order to form a bundle pack (10) with a stable formation. The invention is characterized by the following steps: a) the packages (11) for the bundle pack (10) are first transported along a first conveyor section (19), wherein glue (12) is applied onto first lateral surfaces of at least some packages (11), and the first lateral surfaces are oriented parallel to the first conveyor section (19), b) the packages (11), which are at least partly provided with glue (12) on the first lateral surfaces, for the bundle pack (10) are then transported transversely to the first conveyor section (19) along a second conveyor section (21), c) at least some adjacent packages (11) are brought into contact with one another during the transport along the second conveyor section (21) so that at least some packages (11) for the bundle pack (10) are connected together by means of the glue (12) on the first lateral surfaces, d) glue (12) is applied onto second lateral surfaces of at least some packages (11) in the second conveyor section (21), said second lateral surfaces being oriented parallel to the second conveyor section (21), e) the packages (11), which are at least partly provided with glue (12) and which are at least partly connected together, for the bundle pack (10) are then transferred to a third conveyor section (28) transversely to the second conveyor section (21), and f) adjacent packages (11) for the bundle pack (10) are brought into contact with one another in the region of the second lateral surfaces during the transport along the third conveyor section such that adjacent packages (11) for the bundle pack (10) are connected together by means of the glue (12) on the second lateral surfaces in order to form the bundle pack (10) with a stable formation.
