Definitions

  • the invention relates to an aqueous lubricant intended to be used for metalworking, in particular for the deformation of metal parts, or the forming, cutting, stamping or rolling of metal parts, in particular aluminum or steel. .
  • the solvent generally serves as a vector allowing the fatty substance useful for lubrication to be deposited on the surface of the metal, the solvent evaporating during the operation.
  • these products containing non-aqueous solvents can be toxic and therefore present a potential health risk.
  • the presence of these non-aqueous solvents can also lead to the marketing of labeled products and the need, for people using these products, to wear protective equipment, particularly personal protective equipment, when handling the product.
  • An objective of the present invention is to provide a lubricating composition, in particular a lubricating composition for working metals, limiting the use of non-aqueous solvent, in particular toxic or potentially toxic solvent and thus presenting an improved ecodesign profile.
  • aqueous-based formulations currently on the market do not always meet the expectations of players for the deformation of metal parts, particularly aluminum, from a part quality point of view since they are likely to generate staining problems during a heat treatment, a heat treatment generally being carried out after the deformation of a metal part, in particular an aluminum part. Tests carried out with products intended primarily for steel may present limitations on aluminum, a softer material requiring the addition of specific additives.

Description

DESCRIPTION DESCRIPTION
TITRE : LUBRIFIANT AQUEUX POUR LE TRAVAIL DES METAUXTITLE: AQUEOUS LUBRICANT FOR METAL WORKING
DOMAINE TECHNIQUE DE L’INVENTION TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to an aqueous lubricant intended to be used for metalworking, in particular for the deformation of metal parts, or the forming, cutting, stamping or rolling of metal parts, in particular aluminum or steel. .
ETAT DE LA TECHNIQUE STATE OF THE ART
For metalworking, and in particular for deformation operations, particularly on aluminum, there are products based on formulas comprising a solvent and a fatty substance. The solvent generally serves as a vector allowing the fatty substance useful for lubrication to be deposited on the surface of the metal, the solvent evaporating during the operation.
However, these products containing non-aqueous solvents can be toxic and therefore present a potential health risk. The presence of these non-aqueous solvents can also lead to the marketing of labeled products and the need, for people using these products, to wear protective equipment, particularly personal protective equipment, when handling the product.
In addition, these non-aqueous solvent-based products can be difficult to clean and therefore require the use of specific cleaning products that are complex to handle. There is therefore an interest in providing a lubricating composition, in particular for metalworking, making it possible to address the disadvantages of the prior art and in particular limiting the use of solvent, in particular toxic or potentially toxic solvent.
An objective of the present invention is to provide a lubricating composition, in particular a lubricating composition for working metals, limiting the use of non-aqueous solvent, in particular toxic or potentially toxic solvent and thus presenting an improved ecodesign profile.
Water-based formulations have been proposed to limit the use of organic solvent.
The aqueous-based formulations currently on the market do not always meet the expectations of players for the deformation of metal parts, particularly aluminum, from a part quality point of view since they are likely to generate staining problems during a heat treatment, a heat treatment generally being carried out after the deformation of a metal part, in particular an aluminum part. Tests carried out with products intended primarily for steel may present limitations on aluminum, a softer material requiring the addition of specific additives.
Document WO 2017/114827 describes an aqueous formulation comprising an alkoxylated fatty alcohol and an anti-corrosion agent.
The present invention proposes a lubricating composition having improved lubricating properties for the deformation of metal parts, in particular aluminum and steel, composition generating little or no volatile organic compounds (VOC) when it is heated in particular up to 80°C.
