Abstract

L'invention concerne un brûleur (12) pour un tuyau d'échappement (10) à travers lequel les gaz d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne d'un véhicule à moteur peuvent s'écouler, comprenant : une chambre de combustion (16) dans laquelle un mélange contenant de l'air et du carburant peut être enflammé et ainsi brûlé ; une chambre de turbulence interne (20) dans laquelle une première partie de l'air peut s'écouler, et qui comporte un premier dispositif de génération de turbulences (55) permettant de produire un écoulement tourbillonnaire (50) de la première partie de l'air, ainsi qu'une première ouverture de sortie (22) par laquelle la première partie de l'air s'écoulant dans la chambre de turbulence interne (20) peut s'écouler et par laquelle la première partie de l'air peut être évacuée hors de la chambre de turbulence interne (20) ; et un élément d'admission (24) à travers lequel le carburant peut s'écouler et au moyen duquel le carburant peut être introduit dans la chambre de turbulence interne (20), le carburant évacué par l'élément d'admission (24) pouvant également s'écouler par la première ouverture de sortie (22) de la chambre de turbulence interne. Le premier dispositif de génération de turbulences (55) ainsi qu'un second dispositif de génération de turbulences (57) comportent un revêtement (66) sur les surfaces (26, 33, 38, 64, 65) qui délimitent au moins en partie directement la chambre de turbulences interne (20) et/ou la chambre de turbulences externe (30), ledit revêtement (66) étant appliqué sur la partie principale (68) du brûleur (12) et ayant une action catalytique.
