- the conditions may not be suitable for the other treatment mode.
- the frequencies can be set for each treatment mode, there is an advantage that no matter which treatment mode is selected, the user is less likely to feel uncomfortable, that is, the feeling of the treatment is less likely to be impaired.
- control unit 35a may select the first mode when a treatment for percutaneously permeating beauty ingredients into the user's skin is performed.
- the first mode when performing a transdermal penetration treatment such as iontophoresis, the first mode is adopted as a treatment mode in which electric current is applied to a wide area of the user's face, so the beauty ingredients penetrate more into the entire face. You can make it easier to do so.
- the frequency of the current applied by the electrode 21 may be in the range of 100 Hz or more and less than 1 MHz.
- the electrodes 21 are set to approximately apply a high-frequency current, making it easier to suppress stimulation of undesired areas such as nerves.
- control unit 35a may select the second mode when a treatment that promotes muscle movement is performed on the user's skin.
- the second mode when performing a treatment such as EMS that promotes muscle movement, is adopted as a treatment mode in which electric current is applied to a limited area on each side of the face, so that unwanted nerves etc. It is possible to stimulate a desired region while avoiding stimulation of the region.
- the frequency of the current applied by the electrode 21 may be in the range of 1 Hz or more and less than 300 Hz.
- the electrodes 21 are set to approximately apply a low frequency current, so that the desired region can be further stimulated.
- the two or more electrodes 21 in the electrode group 22 may be arranged at positions spanning at least one muscle selected from the orbicularis oculi, the zygomaticus major and minor, and the levator labii superioris.
- control unit 35a can select an appropriate electrode 21 from the plurality of electrodes 21 so that the current flow range matches the area on the face that is desired to be stimulated.
- the beauty device 1 according to the present embodiment may also be defined as follows.
- the beauty device 1 includes a mask main body that is attached to the user's face, and two or more devices that are provided on the mask main body in accordance with the positions of the left and right cheeks of the user, and that each apply an electric current to the user's skin.
- Two electrode group parts having electrodes may be included.
- the electrode polarity changing section that can change the polarity of the electrodes of the two electrode group sections may include a mode switching control section that can switch between the first mode and the second mode. In the first mode, the polarity of the electrodes included in one of the two electrode group parts is the same, and the polarity of the electrodes is changed to be different for each electrode group part, and the polarity of the electrodes is different. energize between the parts. In the second mode, current is passed between at least two electrodes included in one electrode group.
- the electrode polarity changing section may increase the frequency of the current that is passed between the electrode group sections having different electrode polarities in the first mode.
- the electrode polarity changing section selects the electrodes in the first mode so that the distance between the electrodes to be energized is larger among the electrode group sections having different electrode polarities. may be possible.
- the electrode polarity changing section detects a painless region between painless regions that does not involve unpleasant stimulation (pain) in the second mode, and further detects at least two painless regions that are close to the painless region. Current may be passed between two electrodes.
- the above mask main body portion corresponds to the mask main body 10
- the above two electrode group portions are components corresponding to an electrode group 22 having two or more electrodes 21.
- the electrode polarity changing section and the mode switching control section described above are components that can be included in the control section 35a.
- each electrode group 22 includes four electrodes 21: the first electrode 21a, the second electrode 21b, the third electrode 21c, and the fourth electrode 21d.
- each electrode group 22 only needs to include two electrodes 21, a positive electrode and a negative electrode, which can constitute at least one channel.
- three electrodes 21 may be included, or five or more electrodes 21 may be included.
- the present disclosure is applicable to beauty devices. Specifically, the present disclosure is applicable to various beauty devices for home or business use, for example.
