Abstract

L'invention fait référence à un appareil de protection (100) sur la base d'un fusible (3, 3') doté d'un élément de fusion, qui est approprié pour recevoir un fusible en tandem double (3') avec des éléments de fusion. L'objectif de l'invention est d'empêcher l'insertion d'un fusible unique inapproprié (3') dans un appareil de protection (100), ce qui conduirait à un dépassement essentiel d'une capacité nominale du fusible (3, 3') avec la possibilité de brûler un arc en raison d'une pression de contact insuffisante entre les capuchons de fusible (32', 32'') et les sièges de repos électro-conducteurs associés (17, 18) à l'intérieur du boîtier d'appareil (1). À cet effet, un siège (23) est prévu à l'intérieur du couvercle (2), qui est conçu pour recevoir un fusible (3, 3') et comprend deux chambres (23', 23''), qui sont chacune conçues pour recevoir un fusible unique (3'). Lesdits sièges de repos (17, 18) sont agencés de manière adjacente à la paroi arrière (12) du boîtier (1), de sorte que seul le fusible (3, 3'), qui est inséré à l'intérieur de la chambre adjacente (23'') peut être amené en contact électrique avec ceux-ci, mais pas le fusible (3, 3'), qui est inséré à l'intérieur de l'autre chambre (21').
