Description

TITLE OF THE INVENTION: AN APPARATUS FOR MASTING OF TISANE
The present disclosure is a combined complete specification of the cognate disclosures, in our earlier provisional specifications, filed with Indian Patent Applications Numbered 202241025688 and 202341029344, dated May 3, 2022, and April 23, 2023, respectively.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present disclosure is generally related to tisane. The present disclosure is particularly related to masting of tisane. The present disclosure is more particularly related to an apparatus, for: masting of tisane.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Apparatuses, for masting of tisanes, are known in the art. In some apparatuses, premix powders and hot water are mixed. However, the tisanes, masted through such apparatuses: are watery; have an artificial taste; and/or are very sweet.
Some other apparatuses dispense hot milk and water, into (or onto) a cup, into which, dips (for example, tea tips) are dipped, multiple times. However, the tisanes, masted through such apparatuses: are watery; and/or non-homogeneous, as all ingredients are not boiled together. Additionally, the tisanes, masted through such apparatuses, are lukewarm.
In some other apparatuses, liquor (for example, tea liquor) is prepared, and stored, in a chamber, with hot milk being stored, in another chamber. Upon press of a button, they are mixed, and dispensed, onto (or into) a cup. However, the tisanes, masted through such apparatuses: are not homogeneous; and/or are not strong, as the ingredients are not boiled. Additionally, the tisanes, masted through such apparatuses, are not consistent, as: the liquor becomes bitter, with time; and/or the milk thickens, with time.
In some other apparatuses, a user has to pour: milk manually; water manually; and/or both manually. These apparatuses require manual effort, with the tisanes, masted through such apparatuses, lacking consistency.
There is, therefore, a need in the art, for: an apparatus, for masting of tisane, which overcomes the aforementioned drawbacks and shortcomings.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An apparatus, for masting of tisane, is disclosed. Said apparatus broadly comprises: an at least a seething member; an at least a seething receptacle; an at least a propulsion generating member; an at least a straining member; an at least a water bestowing member; an at least a sweetening agent and spices bestowing member; a sweetening agent and spices bestowing mechanism; an at least a tisane bestowing member; a tisane bestowing mechanism; an at least a milk bestowing member; an at least a tisane pouring member; an at least a disposal receptacle; an at least a visual interfacing member; and an at least a surveying member that is configured to monitor and control said apparatus.

An apparatus, for masting of tisane (also referred to as “apparatus”), is disclosed. In an embodiment of the present disclosure, as illustrated, in Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 3, the apparatus broadly comprises: an at least a surveying member; an at least a seething member (19); an at least a seething receptacle (7); an at least a tisane pouring member; an at least a milk bestowing member (not shown); an at least a water bestowing member (not shown); an at least a sweetening agent and spices bestowing member (2 and 3); an at least a tisane bestowing member (1); an at least a disposal receptacle (9); and an at least a visual interfacing member.
Components of said apparatus may be enclosed within (or may be enclosed by, or may be housed within) an at least an enclosure. The at least one seething member (19; for example, a stainless steel boiler or a copper boiler) stores pressurised steam (for example, at a pressure of about 1 bar gauge pressure). A heating member (27; for example, an immersion heater or an induction heater) is disposed in (or is disposed within, or is associated with) the at least one seething member (19).
The heating member (27) heats water (for example, partially filled, in the at least one seething member (19)), and converts the same, to the steam.
The at least one seething member (19) broadly comprises a plurality of sensing members, and may also comprise: a thermostat (33; for example, one that switches off, at about 135 degrees Centigrade); and a plurality of fluid flow regulating members (21 and 22; for example, valves, said valves being disposed on (or being disposed at, or being associated with) an at least a plate (20)). The at least one seething member (19) also comprises a heat exchanging member (62) that heats the water. The at least one heat exchanging member (62) may be of any suitable type known in the art.
The plurality of sensing members includes, but is not limited to: an at least a temperature sensing member (29); at least a water level sensing member (28); and/or an at least a switching member (34; for example, a pressure switch that operates at pressures ranging between about 0.8 bar gauge pressure and about 1 bar gauge pressure). Safety features include, but are not limited to: an anti-vacuum regulating member (32; for example, an anti-vacuum valve) that prevents the at least one seething member (19), from imploding; and/or a safety regulating member (31; for example, a safety valve that blows up, at a pressure of about 1.4 bar gauge pressure).
The at least one temperature sensing member (29) senses temperature of the at least one seething member (19), continuously, in real-time, with sensed data being transmitted, to the at least one surveying member.
Likewise, the at least one water level sensing member (28) senses level of the water, in the at least one seething member (19), continuously, in real-time, with sensed data being transmitted, to the at least one surveying member. For example, the apparatus is configured to maintain an about 1 : 1 ratio of the water to the steam, through the at least one water level sensing member (28). The at least one seething receptacle (7 ; for example, a cylindrical cup) is configured to be of non-sticking nature. Boiling of all ingredients (for example, tea, sugar, spices, water, and/or milk) takes place, within (or in) the at least one seething receptacle (7). The at least one seething receptacle (7) is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) a propulsion transmitting member (for example, a shaft) of an at least a propulsion generating member (16; for example, a motor).
The at least one seething receptacle (7) is associated with the at least one seething member (19), through a plurality of fluid flow facilitating members (for example, pipes). For example, each fluid flow facilitating member, among the plurality of fluid flow facilitating members, is configured to have a plurality of holes (for example, four holes that are 90 degrees apart), on its curved surface.
Another side of said each fluid flow facilitating member, among the plurality of fluid flow facilitating members, is associated with the at least one seething member (19). The steam exits (from the plurality of holes), in a direction that is parallel, to a bottom horizontal surface of the at least one seething receptacle (7).
The at least one seething receptacle (7) is separately filled with water, following which, the at least one seething receptacle (7) is turned upside down. The steam mixes with the water that is filled, in the at least one seething receptacle (7), to create a vortex (and/or whirlpool). The vortex facilitates cleaning of the at least one seething receptacle (7; internal surface). All the water that cleaned the internal surface, flows down, into (or onto) the at least one disposal receptacle (9).
The at least one seething receptacle (7) may also be cleaned, through an at least a pump (75). Said at least one pump (75) is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) the at least one plate (20). This cleaning may be achieved, through any suitable technologies known in the art.
The at least one disposal receptacle (9) is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) a side portion of the at least one seething receptacle (7).
An at least a straining member (for example, a strainer) is removably disposed on (or is removably disposed at, or is removably associated with) a bottom portion of the at least one seething receptacle (7), for example, through an at least a joint. The at least one straining member accumulates residues and/or waste. Alternatively, the at least one straining member may be removably disposed on (or may be removably disposed at, or may be removably associated with) the apparatus. In this case, the tisane pouring may be achieved, through tilting and gravity.
The at least one milk bestowing member is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) a side portion of the apparatus. The at least one milk bestowing member is configured to bestow milk, as and when required, through an at least a milk flow facilitating member (for example, a pipe that is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) an at least a fitting (12)).
The at least one milk bestowing member may be associated with an at least a fluid flow constricting member (for example, a venturi member or a venturi system). The at least one fluid flow constricting member, in turn, may be disposed above the at least one seething receptacle (7).
The at least one fluid flow constricting member may be configured to be of a geometry, which creates: a negative pressure; and suction. The suction causes the bestowing of the milk, from the at least one milk bestowing member, to (or into, or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7), through the at least one milk flow facilitating member.
Alternatively, the bestowing of the milk, from the at least one milk bestowing member, to the at least one seething receptacle (7), through the at least one milk flow facilitating member, may be facilitated, by another peristaltic pumping member (5).
An at least a milk flow sensing member may be associated with the at least one milk bestowing member. The at least one milk flow sensing member senses flow of the bestowed milk, continuously, in real-time, with sensed data being transmitted, to the at least one surveying member.
The at least one water bestowing member bestows water, through an at least a water pumping member (30), to the heat exchanging member (62), and, subsequently, to (or into, or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7), through an at least a water flow facilitating member (for example, a pipe that is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) the at least one fitting (12)). The at least one water pumping member (30) may be disposed on (or may be disposed at, or may be associated with) an at least one another plate (23). An at least a valve (71) may be disposed on (or may be disposed at, or may be associated with) the at least one another plate (23).
Said at least one water pumping member (30) may be switched on, for example, for a time, which ranges between about 2 seconds and about 6 seconds.
The at least one valve (71) facilitates directing of the water, to (or onto) the at least one heat exchanging member (62), or the at least one seething member (19).
An at least a water flow sensing member is associated with the at least one water bestowing member. The at least one water flow sensing member senses flow of the bestowed water, continuously, in real-time, with sensed data being transmitted, to the at least one surveying member.
The at least one water flow facilitating member is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) a top portion of the at least one seething receptacle (7). The at least one water flow facilitating member facilitates flow of the water, from a refillable receptacle, or from a water line, to the heat exchanging member (62), and, subsequently, to the at least one seething receptacle (7). The refillable receptacle is disposed in (or is disposed within) the apparatus.
The at least one sweetening agent and spices bestowing member (2 and 3) stores: a sweetening agent (for example, sugar); and spices. The sugar, and the spices (for example, ground spices), may be stored, in respective chambers (or in a chamber), and bestowed, to (or into, or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7), through a sweetening agent and spices bestowing mechanism (for example, a bestowing facilitating member or a gliding facilitating member or a sliding facilitating member (4), screw extruders, which are operated, by respective motors (73 and 74), and an at least one another propulsion generating member (15; for example, a motor)), upon rotation.
The at least one sweetening agent and spices bestowing member (2 and 3) may comprise a grinding mechanism, for grinding fresh spices.
Weight of the bestowed sweetening agent and spices may be sensed continuously, in realtime, by a plurality of second load sensing members, with sensed data being transmitted, to the at least one surveying member.
A person skilled in the art will appreciate the fact that more chambers may be involved, to accommodate more than one type of spice.
The bestowing facilitating member (4) may be of any suitable type known in the art, onto which, the sweetening agent and the spices get dropped, before gliding (or sliding) into (or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7).
In an alternative embodiment, the apparatus may comprise only a sweetening agent bestowing member, with spice drops (concentrated liquid spice) being dropped into (or being dropped onto) a cup (11).
The at least one tisane bestowing member (1) is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) a top portion of the apparatus. The at least one tisane bestowing member (1) stores leaves (for example, tea leaves). The leaves are bestowed, to (or into, or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7), through a tisane bestowing mechanism (for example, the bestowing facilitating member (4), another screw extruder, which is operated, by a respective motor (72), and said at least one another propulsion generating member (15)).
Alternatively, or in addition to the above, the leaves may be packed, in non-plastic, biodegradable material (for example, cotton bags, cellulose-based paper bags, and/or the like), and may be bestowed, to (or into, or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7), when an at least a user disposes the leaves, within the apparatus.
Alternatively, or in addition to the above, the at least one tisane bestowing member (1) stores bags and/or powder (for example, tea bags and/or tea powder). The bags and/or powder are bestowed, to (or into, or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7). An at least a load sensing member may be associated with the at least one tisane bestowing member (1). The at least one load sensing member senses weight of the bestowed leaves (or senses weight of the bestowed bags, or senses weight of the bestowed powder), continuously, in real-time, with sensed data being transmitted, to the at least one surveying member.
The at least one disposal receptacle (9) is configured to: be removable; and broadly comprise a plurality of small holes, which is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) a bottom portion of the at least one disposal receptacle (9). In yet another embodiment of the present disclosure, a method of operating the apparatus broadly comprises following steps:
The at least one user fills: the at least one milk bestowing member; the at least one water bestowing member; and the at least one sweetening agent and spices bestowing member (2 and 3). The at least one user switches ON the apparatus.
The at least one surveying member transmits instructions, to the at least one visual interfacing member, to prompt the at least one user, to: select an existing recipe; configure a recipe, from an existing recipe; and/or create a new recipe. If the at least one user creates a new recipe, the mixing of the sugar, the milk, and/or the spices, may be dispensed with, by the at least one user, if these are not required, by the at least one user. The at least one visual interfacing member may also prompt the at least one user, to make a payment.
For example, the existing recipe may be as follows: about 4.5 grams, from the at least one tisane bestowing member (1); about 0.6 grams of cardamom, from the at least one sweetening agent and spices bestowing member (2 and 3); and typical quantities of the sweetening agent (for non-diabetic people), from the at least one sweetening agent and spices bestowing member (2 and 3).
Once the at least one user makes a selection, through the at least one visual interfacing member, the at least one surveying member transmits instructions, to the at least one seething member (19), to generate the steam. The heating member (27) causes the generating of the steam, which flows, through the plurality of fluid flow facilitating members, into (or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7).
Then, the at least one surveying member transmits instructions, to: the at least one tisane bestowing member (1), to bestow the leaves (or the bags, or the powder), from the at least one tisane bestowing member (1), into (or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7); and the at least one water bestowing member, to bestow the water, from the at least one water bestowing member, into (or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7). The bestowed leaves (or the bestowed bags, or the bestowed powder) are seethed, together with the water, with the help of the steam.
The at least one load sensing member senses weight of the bestowed leaves (or senses weight of the bestowed bags, or senses weight of the bestowed powder), continuously, in real-time, with sensed data being transmitted, to the at least one surveying member. Likewise, the at least one water flow sensing member senses flow of the bestowed water, continuously, in real-time, with sensed data being transmitted, to the at least one surveying member.
Thereafter, the at least one surveying member transmits instructions, to: the at least one milk bestowing member, to bestow the milk, from the at least one milk bestowing member, into (or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7); and the at least one sweetening agent and spices bestowing member (2 and 3), to bestow the sweetening agent and the spices, from the at least one sweetening agent and spices bestowing member (2 and 3), into (or onto) the at least one seething receptacle (7). The mixture of leaves (or bags, or powder), water, milk, sweetening agent, and spices, is boiled together.
The at least one milk flow sensing member senses flow of the bestowed milk, continuously, in real-time, with sensed data being transmitted, to the at least one surveying member. For example, the milk may be bestowed, for a time, which ranges between about 4 seconds and about 8 seconds.
Alternatively, if the mixing of the sugar, the milk, and the spices, are dispensed with, by the at least one user, the above step is dispensed with. Next, once the at least one surveying member determines that the tisane masting is completed (may take between about 40 seconds and about 60 seconds), it transmits instructions, to: the at least one tisane pouring member (the peristaltic pumping member (6)). This causes pouring of the bestowed tisane that is masted, in the apparatus, through the at least one tisane pouring member, for example, through a pipe that is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) an at least one another fitting (18). The pipe may comprise an in-built straining mechanism.
For example, the bestowed tisane that is masted, in the apparatus, is poured into (or onto) the cup (11).
The at least one straining member accumulates the residues and/or waste. When the at least one seething receptacle (7) is rotated, by the at least one propulsion generating member (16), through the propulsion transmitting member, it bestows the residues and/or waste. An at least a shielding member (8) collects any flying tea particles.
At any stage, during operations of the apparatus, if the at least one surveying member determines that said sensed temperature is above the pre-defined temperature value, or is not within the pre-defined temperature range, it transmits instructions, to: stop the operations of the apparatus.
Likewise, at any stage during operations of the apparatus, if the at least one surveying member determines that said water level value is below the pre-defined water level value, or is not within the pre-defined water level range, it transmits instructions, to: stop the operations of the apparatus.
Last, the apparatus is cleaned, through the vortex. The vortex facilitates cleaning of the at least one seething receptacle (7; internal surface). The pipe that is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) the at least one another fitting (18) is cleaned, through an at least a third propulsion transmitting member (14).
The at least one third propulsion transmitting member (14) rotates the pipe that is disposed on (or is disposed at, or is associated with) the at least one another fitting (18), towards the at least one disposal receptacle (9). The at least one third propulsion transmitting member (14) is communicatively associated with the at least one surveying member. Now, the apparatus is ready, for masting tisane again. A person skilled in the art will appreciate the fact that the apparatus and its various components may be made of any suitable materials known in the art. Likewise, a person skilled in the art will also appreciate the fact that the configuration of the apparatus and its various components may be varied, based on requirements.
