La présente invention concerne un équipement d'exercice de type grand baril ("Ladder Barrel"). L'équipement d'exercice de type grand baril selon un mode de réalisation de la présente invention peut comprendre : un cadre de base ; une unité d'échelle qui est disposée sur un côté du cadre de base et dans laquelle une pluralité de barres horizontales sont accouplées ; une unité de baril qui est disposée sur l'autre côté du cadre de base et a une partie supérieure en forme de dôme ; au moins une unité d'élévation/abaissement pour élever et abaisser l'unité de baril ; et au moins une unité de commande d'élévation/abaissement qui est disposée en dessous de l'au moins une unité d'élévation/abaissement et commande l'au moins une unité d'élévation/abaissement.
