Abstract
L'invention concerne une plateforme à réaction autonome (PRA) servant pour le décollage et l'atterrissage d'appareils dépourvus de train d'atterrissage. Cette plateforme consiste en une structure faite d'un cadre rigide double sur les côtés duquel sont disposés des moteurs à réaction. A l'intérieur se trouvent des récipients de carburant et un système de commande. Le système de commande sert à la déviation de la poussée de réaction des moteurs, que ce soit les moteurs proprement dits ou en utilisant un vecteur de poussée. Le nombre de moteurs dépend de la taille et du poids de l'appareil devant s'élever et de la capacité d'emport de la plateforme, et peut varier (4 ou plus). Pour le décollage, la PRA vient se placer sous un engin spatial et, par la poussée de ses moteurs, élève ce dernier à une hauteur voulue et, si nécessaire, le fait accélérer à une vitesse voulue. On assiste en suite à une déconnexion et un déplacement jusqu'à l'endroit voulu. L'atterrissage comprend un amarrage aérien (récupération) de la PRA avec un engin dépourvu de train d'atterrissage, après quoi toute la structure effectue un atterrissage.
