- BFD beam failure detection
- BFR beam failure recovery
- the communication device performs BFD based on the reference signal for BFD.

- the network can configure the communication device to perform BFD when the SCG is inactive (see Non-Patent Documents 2 and 3).
- resetting the MAC entity when making the SCG inactive is being considered (see Non-Patent Documents 3 and 4).
- the communication device In the case where the communication device is set to perform BFD when the SCG is inactive, if the communication device resets the BFD parameters (count value, timer) when the SCG is inactive, until then is initialized. As a result, the BFD will be delayed after the SCG becomes inactive, resulting in a poor beam setting during that time. Therefore, the current SCG deactivation method has room for improvement in terms of efficiently performing BFD when the SCG is inactive.

- conventional MAC reset processing is executed at the time of RRC Reconfiguration or the like, and is processing for resetting MAC parameters, and for example, the following is executed: - stop all timers managed by the MAC entity; - Cancel the SR (Scheduling Request), BSR (Buffer Status Report), PHR (Power Headroom Report), BFR, etc. that the MAC entity is executing; • Zero (ie, reset) the counters maintained by the MAC entity (including the BFI counter).
- the BFD parameters in particular, the BFI count value
- the detection state in the BFD up to that point will be initialized.
- the BFD after the SCG 201S becomes inactive will be delayed, during which a low quality beam will be set. Therefore, the current SCG 201S deactivation method has room for improvement in terms of efficiently performing BFD when the SCG 201S is in the inactive state.
- the method of controlling the LCP in a series of operations in which the UE 100 puts the SCG 201S in an inactive state and then puts the SCG 201S in an active state is undetermined.
- the value of the variable Bj in the LCP may increase.
- SCG 201S is activated, LCP will be performed with the variable Bj already accumulated. Therefore, there is a concern that inappropriate LCP will be performed when the SCG 201S is switched from the inactive state to the active state.

Abstract
Description
・MACエンティティが管理しているすべてのタイマを停止する;
・MACエンティティが実行しているSR(Scheduling Request)、BSR(Buffer Status Report)、PHR(Power Headroom Report)、及びBFRなどをキャンセルする;
