Description
CONNECTION SYSTEM WITH ADJUSTABLE LENGTH AND MOUNTING METHOD FOR SAID SYSTEM
Subject of the Invention
The invention relates to a connection system with adjustable length developed in order to prevent the mounting depth, which varies for various reasons in the mounting of the flushmounted (concealed) products, from affecting the length of the member providing the connection between the flush-mounted assembly and the surface-mounted assembly.
State of the Art
The flush-mounted products are among the products often preferred in the installations. A part of the product positioned inside the wall is joined with the surface-mounted members owing to the connection members that serve the function of a bridge in between. According to the state of the art, said fixing members have a fixed length and the mechanism obtained by bringing together said members is a system that does not allow the user to make any adjustment.
The walls inside which the flush-mounted products are positioned may be covered with various materials in order to provide an aesthetic appearance and/or functional characteristics. Such materials, e.g. ceramic and marble, have different thickness according to their properties and/or structure. For this reason, when the users wish to position a flush-mounted product inside a wall that has been or that will be covered with ceramic or marble, they have to determine the covering material in advance or they have to choose a covering material appropriate for the length of the connection member fixed to the flushmounted product. Otherwise, when the covering material is not suitable for the mounting conditions of the flush-mounted product, said connection member may remain embedded inside the wall or may form a protrusion outside the wall. This leads to both ergonomic and functional problems.
Besides the covering material, the rosettes and the similar members included in the surface-mounted assemblies also directly affect the required length of the connection member. Since said components are the members that are positioned outside the wall and that are generally engaged on the connection member, it is necessary to choose the length of the connection member taking these components into account.
In cases where the connection member remains embedded inside the wall, the mounting procedure becomes quite difficult. In order to overcome this difficulty, the users may use additional extension pieces. However, these pieces, in addition to being costly, bring about the problems of compatibility with the other components. In cases where the connection member forms a protrusion outside the wall, the difficulties are encountered when mounting the components that are to be fixed to the wall from the outside. Consequently, the connection members are needed, which will accommodate all kinds of thicknesses for the wall and/or the components and which will have dimensions that are possible to change.
Consequently, the presence of the above-mentioned problems and the inadequacy of the existing solutions have made it necessary to carry out an innovation in the related art. With the present invention, a connection system, in which it is possible to adjust the length of the members providing the connection between the flush-mounted assembly and the surface-mounted assembly, and a mounting method for said system have been developed.
Object of the Invention
An object of the invention is to develop a connection system, in which the fluid outlet is prevented from remaining embedded inside the wall as a result of the thickness of the material used on the wall and/or the measurement errors.
Another object of the invention is to develop a connection system, in which the fluid outlet is prevented from forming a protrusion towards the outside of the wall as a result of the thickness of the material used on the wall and/or the measurement errors.
Another object of the invention is to develop a connection system, in which the length of the fluid outlet may be adjusted without using additional components such as extension piece.
The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood owing to the figures provided below and the detailed description written with reference to said figures. Accordingly, the evaluation should be made taking these figures and detailed description into consideration.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The invention relates to a connection system with adjustable length developed in order to prevent the mounting depth, which varies for various reasons in the mounting of the flushmounted products, from affecting the length of the member providing the connection between the flush-mounted assembly and the surface-mounted assembly.
In this detailed description, the preferred alternatives of the connection system according to the invention are explained in a way only enabling a better understanding of the subject matter and not leading to any limiting effect.
The connection system developed within the scope of the invention comprises in its most basic form at least one adjustable shaft (5) fixed to the flush-mounted body (1) remaining inside the wall (2), at least one shaft housing (6), inside which the adjustable shaft (5) is supportably disposed, and at least one adjustment member (7) enabling the connection system, more specifically at least one fluid outlet (4) on which at least one movable rosette (3) is to be fitted, to be set to the desired length.
Owing to the connection system according to the invention, the fluid outlet (4) positioned on the flush-mounted body (1) is prevented from remaining embedded inside the wall (2) or from forming a protrusion towards the outside of the wall (2) as a result of the thickness of the material used on the wall (2) and/or the measurement errors. For this purpose, the connection system comprises at least one adjustment member (7). Said adjustment member (7) preferably has a threaded structure. Though not being limited to this option, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, the adjustment member (7) is set to have a length of 1 mm between two threads. In this way, it becomes possible to adjust the length of the fluid outlet (4) with a precision of 1 mm. It is possible to increase or decrease the adjustment precision by increasing or decreasing the length between the threads of the adjustment member (7) according to different preferences and needs. The adjustment member (7) is positioned on the flush-mounted body (1) and on the same axis as the adjustable shaft (5). Accordingly, the length of the adjustable shaft (5) may be adjusted by means of the threaded structure present on the adjustment member (7).
In addition to the adjustment member (7), the connection system according to the invention comprises at least one adjustable shaft (5). Like the adjustment member (7), the adjustable shaft (5) is positioned on the flush-mounted body (1) and in the same direction as the adjustment member (7). The adjustable shaft (5) is used to convey the fluid, which flows from the installation and passes through the flush-mounted body (1), to the fluid
outlet (4). In said connection system, said adjustable shaft (5) is supportably disposed in at least one shaft housing (6). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, said shaft housing (6) comprises an adjustment gap of 25 mm in the part where the adjustable shaft (5) is supportably disposed. It is possible to prefer a different size for the adjustment gap according to different preferences and needs. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the length of the fluid outlet (4) is enabled to be varied in the range of 0-25 mm owing to an adjustment gap size of 25 mm.
The shaft housing (6) is positioned inside at least one fluid outlet (4). In this way, the length of the fluid outlet (4), i.e., the distance between the fluid outlet (4) and the wall (2), is changed by way of moving the shaft housing (6) towards the adjustable shaft (5) or moving the shaft housing (6) away from the adjustable shaft (5). In order to be able to precisely adjust the length of the fluid outlet (4), the shaft housing (6) contacts the adjustment member (7). Owing to the threads of the adjustment member (7) having a precision of 1 mm, the shaft housing (6), and thus the fluid outlet (4), is able to move along a distance of 25 mm on the horizontal axis with a precision of 1 mm.
The connection system developed within the scope of the invention additionally comprises at least one locking member (8). Said locking member (8) is positioned on the fluid outlet (4) and enables the fluid outlet (4) to be fixed with the desired length. During the adjustment of the length, the locking member (8) is used in an uncompressed position. After the desired length is adjusted, the locking member (8) is compressed and fixes the fluid outlet (4). In this way, the fluid outlet (4) and/or the other components such as the adjustable shaft (5) and the shaft housing (6) are prevented from moving on the horizontal axis after the mounting is completed.
The mounting method for the connection system according to the invention comprises the process steps of
• positioning the flush-mounted body (1) inside the wall (2),
• fixing the adjustable shaft (5) to the flush-mounted body (1),
• fixing the adjustment member (7) to the flush-mounted body (1),
• positioning the shaft housing (6) inside the fluid outlet (4),
• supportably disposing the adjustable shaft (5) by sliding the same into the shaft housing (6),
• adjusting the length of the fluid outlet (4) on the horizontal axis, owing to the threaded structure included in the adjustment member (7) and the adjustment gap included in the shaft housing (6),
• compressing the locking member (8) to enable the same to fix the fluid outlet (4) after the length is brought into the desired level, and
• fixing the movable rosette (3) to the wall (2) by sliding the same on the adjustment member (7) and the fluid outlet (4).
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the adjustable shaft (5) is fixed to the flushmounted body (1) by way of screwing. Similarly, the adjustment member (7) is fixed to the flush-mounted body (1) preferably by way of screwing.
The locking member (8) is in the uncompressed position until the adjustment of the length of the fluid outlet (4) is complete.
Owing to the connection system with adjustable length developed within the scope of the invention, the above-mentioned problems and drawbacks of the state of the art encountered by the users are enabled to be eliminated.
