Definitions
- the present invention relates to catechol-modified metal organic frameworks (MOF: Metal Organic Frameworks).
- a metal-organic framework is a porous complex having a three-dimensional network structure containing a central metal and an organic ligand coordinated to the central metal, and is expected to be applied as a gas storage material, catalyst, separation, sensor, etc. It is
- Non-Patent Document 1 Japanese Patent Document 1
- the number of coordinations is deprived by bonding with organic ligands, and hydrogen that can interact is limited. be done.
- the organic ligand of the metal-organic framework is modified with a catechol site, and the catechol site is modified with a metal site such as iron, chromium, or gallium. It has been studied and reported to increase it (Non-Patent Documents 2 and 3).
- Non-Patent Document 4 a catechol complex of Mg 2+ .Ca 2+ interacts with hydrogen
- Non-Patent Document 2 when the present inventors catechol-modified the metal organic framework UiO-66(Zr) by the PSE (postsynthetic exchange) method, which facilitates catechol introduction, disclosed in Non-Patent Document 2, the catechol modification rate was There was a problem in the reproducibility of , and the catechol modification rate when obtained was as low as less than 20%. When the catechol modification rate is low, the amount of metal sites modified with catechol is also small, so the amount of gas adsorbed by the metal sites is also small.
- Non-Patent Document 3 which is a follow-up to Non-Patent Document 2 by the same laboratory, the catechol modification rate could not be reproduced.
- the purpose of the present invention is to increase the number of catechol sites that modify metal organic structures.
- Catechol-modified metal-organic framework A metal-organic framework containing a central metal and an organic ligand and having an average particle size of 100 nm or less, and a catechol site modified with the organic ligand, wherein the organic coordination A catechol-modified metal-organic structure, characterized in that the rate of modification of the catechol site to the molecule is 50% or more.
- Method for producing a catechol-modified metal-organic framework A metal-organic framework synthesis step of blending a central metal source, an organic ligand source, and an acid as a modifier to synthesize a metal-organic framework; a catechol modification step of modifying the organic ligand of the metal-organic structure with catechol, and in the metal-organic structure-synthesizing step, the concentration of the acid is adjusted so as to synthesize a metal-organic structure having an average particle size of 100 nm or less. 2.
- a method for producing a catechol-modified metal-organic structure characterized by adjusting to a low level.
- the modification ratio of the catechol site to the organic ligand after the catechol modification step is 50% or more.
- the catechol modification rate with respect to the organic ligand increases. This is presumably because when the metal-organic framework is modified with catechol, the metal-organic framework is so small that the catechol modification reactant diffuses into the interior of the metal-organic framework.
- the catechol site serves as a modification point for the metal site, and the metal site serves as an adsorption site for hydrogen. Therefore, if the catechol modification rate increases, an increase in the amount of metal sites and an increase in the adsorption amount of gas such as hydrogen can be expected.
- the number of catechol sites that modify the metal organic structure can be increased.
