Abstract

Um ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Bipolarplattenlage für eine Bipolarplatte einer elektrochemischen Einheit einer elektrochemischen Vorrichtung mit den Verfahrensschritten - Bereitstellen eines Ausgangsmaterials für die Bipolarplattenlage; und - Umformen des Ausgangsmaterials derart, dass ein ein Strömungsfeld der Bipolarplattenlage berandender Randsteg gebildet wird; zu schaffen, welches auch bei großen Stückzahlen herzustellender Bipolarplattenlagen einfach und zuverlässig durchführbar ist, wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Verfahren Folgendes umfasst: - Heraustrennen von Gasdurchtrittsöffnungen aus einem Randstegabschnitt des Ausgangsmaterials, wobei der Randstegabschnitt nach dem Heraustrennen der Gasdurchtrittsöffnungen so umgeformt wird, dass aus dem Randstegabschnitt der Randsteg gebildet wird.
