Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer Batterie, welche mit einem Verbraucher und einer zentralen Steuer- und Überwachungseinheit des Verbrauchers verbunden ist, wobei die Batterie ein Batteriemanagementsystem (BMS) und mindestens eine Zellpackung aufweist, wobei in regelmäßigen Messperioden eine Einzelmessung der Temperatur der Batterie und/oder mindestens einer Zellpackung durchgeführt wird, wobei die Einzelmessung der Temperatur im Ruhebetrieb der Batterie erfolgt, wobei für den Ruhebetrieb zur regelmäßigen Überprüfung nach einer definierten Ruhedauer eine Weckfunktion durchgeführt wird. Hierbei werden die Einzelmessungen der Temperatur in einem nicht flüchtigen Datenspeicher gespeichert und aus den Einzelmessungen wird nachfolgend eine kontinuierliche Temperaturexposition im Ruhebetrieb (TER) der Batterie ermittelt und in dem nicht flüchtigen Datenspeicher gespeichert. Weiterhin ist von der Erfindung eine Batterie umfasst, auf der das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren durchführbar ist.
