根据本公开的第一方面,提供了一种由用户设备UE执行的方法,所述UE被配置提供多全球用户识别卡MUSIM辅助信息,在所述UE需要离开无线资源控制RRC连接态的情况下,执行以下步骤中的至少一项:所述UE发起传输UE辅助信息消息,以提供所述MUSIM辅助信息;启动定时器T,将所述定时器T的值设置为指示用于所述UE不等待网络应答而离开所述RRC连接态的时间或定时器musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer;启动定时器T346f,将所述定时器T346f的值设置为用于释放偏好辅助信息报告的禁止定时器releasePreferenceProhibitTimer。
在上述方法中,可以是,当所述UE被配置了musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer,则还需满足所述musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer未运行,才无先后顺序地执行所述步骤中的至少一项。
在上述方法中,可以是,当所述定时器T到期时,所述UE执行进入RRC空闲态时需要执行的操作。

下面结合附图和具体实施方式对本公开进行详细阐述。应当注意,本公开不应局限于下文所述的具体实施方式。另外,为了简便起见,省略了对与本公开没有直接关联的公知技术的详细描述,以防止对本公开的理解造成混淆。
下面描述本公开涉及的部分术语,术语的具体含义见3GPP最新相关文档,例如TS38.300、TS38.331、TS36.300、TS36.331等。
NAS:Non-access stratum,非接入层。
AS:access stratum,接入层。
RRC:Radio Resource Control,无线资源控制。
RRC_CONNECTED:RRC连接态。
RRC_INACTIVE:RRC非激活态。
RRC_IDLE:RRC空闲态。
RAN;Radio Access Network,无线接入层。
USIM:Universal Subscriber Identity Module,全球用户识别卡。
MUSIM:Multi-Universal Subscriber Identity Module,多全球用户识别卡。

本公开中,网络、基站和RAN可互换使用,所述网络可以是长期演进LTE网络、NR网络、增强的长期演进eLTE网络,也可以是3GPP后续演进版本中定义的其他网络。
本公开中,用户设备UE可指物理上支持多USIM卡(两个或两个以上USIM卡)的设备,所述设备装配了两个或两个以上USIM卡,每个USIM卡关联一个网络。所述多个USIM卡可以来自同一个运营商或不同的运营商。从网络的角度来看,不同的USIM卡对应不同的UE,每个USIM卡对应一个UE。如未特别说明,本公开不对此加以区分。本领域技术人员可以根据上下文容易地确定UE是指支持多USIM卡的UE还是支持多USIM卡的设备中每个USIM卡分别对应的UE。配置了多USIM卡的用户设备可以通过时分复用等方式利用单收单发或双收单发从多个网络接收和/或发送数据,对于具有两个Rx的UE,可以同时从两个网络接收数据。此外,本公开所述USIM可以是物理SIM或eSIM(USIM can be a physical SIM or eSIM)。
本公开实施例以UE配置两个USIM卡为例,本领域技术人员可以容易的扩展到多个USIM卡的情况。具有两个USIM卡的用户设备UE至少具有 单收单发(Single-Rx/Single-Tx)或双收单发(Dual-Rx/Single-Tx)能力。两个USIM对应的不同UE可以共用一对Tx和Rx或共用一个Tx但分别具有各自的Rx。
以下描述UE由于MUSIM目的发起向网络请求释放RRC连接的过程。
在MUSIM场景中,UE在网络A(即基站)处于RRC连接态,但是,UE需要/希望与网络B通信,例如与网络B建立RRC连接。此时,UE向网络A发送释放当前UE的RRC连接的指示信息。具体地,具有提供MUSIM辅助信息的UE需要离开RRC_CONNECTED状态时,如果UE被配置提供MUSIM辅助信息并且UE需要离开RRC_CONNECTED状态,则UE执行以下操作:
发起传输UEAssistanceInformation消息以提供MUSIM辅助信息;启动定时器T并将定时器的值设置为musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer。
需要说明的是,如果定时器T是可选配置,则只有在UE被配置了musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer时才启动定时器T。所述UE在需要离开RRC_CONNECTED状态(因MUSIM目的)时,可设置包含在UEAssistanceInformation消息中的musim-PreferedRRC-State为期望的RRC状态。UE可以根据是否被配置了musim-AssistanceConfig域来确定是否被配置提供MUSIM辅助信息,基站通过携带在RRC消息(例如RRCReconfiguration消息)中的所述musim-AssistanceConfig域来配置UE报告辅助信息。此外,UE被配置提供MUSIM辅助信息可以替换为UE被配置了为MUSIM目的指示偏好离开RRC连接态。
此外,如果UE发起传输UEAssistanceInformation消息以提供MUSIM辅助信息,执行以下操作:
如果UE需要离开RRC_CONNECTED状态,设置musim-PreferedRRC-State为期望的RRC状态。
以下描述UE由于节能等目的发起向网络请求释放RRC连接的过程。
在为节能等目的的场景中,具有提供辅助信息以离开(transition out of)RRC连接态的UE,在确定偏好离开RRC连接态或改变(revert)其偏好(prefered)的RRC状态时,将发起UEAssistanceInformation消息传输过程。例如,处于RRC连接态的UE没有上行数据需要发送,为节能目的, UE可发起UEAssistanceInformation消息传输过程以提供释放偏好。如果UE发起UEAssistanceInformation消息传输以提供UE的释放偏好,在所述UEAssistanceInformation消息中包含releasePreference域,设置包含在releasePreference域中的preferredRRC-State域为发送UEAssistanceInformation消息时期望的RRC状态(set preferredRRC-State to the desired RRC state on transmission of the UEAssistanceInformation message)。基站可以通过携带在RRC消息(例如RRCReconfiguration消息)中的ReleasePreferenceConfig域来指示/配置UE上报其释放偏好,ReleasePreferenceConfig域用于配置UE通过报告辅助信息来通知网络(或基站)关于UE离开RRC_CONNECTED状态的偏好(Configuration for the UE to report assistance information to inform the gNB about the UE′s preference to leave RRC_CONNECTED state)。但是,基站在接收到来自UE的所述包含释放偏好指示的UEAssistanceInformation消息后,是否立即释放当前的RRC连接是由基站根据当前UE的下行业务信息等确定。换言之,在这种情况下,如果UE有下行数据,即使基站收到来自UE的包含释放偏好的UEAssistanceInformation消息(即所述消息中包含用于指示UE偏好的RRC状态的preferredRRC-State域),也不一定会立即释放当前UE的RRC连接。具体的,如果UE被配置提供其释放的偏好并且定时器T346f未运行,则执行以下操作:
如果UE确定其偏好离开RRC连接态,或者如果UE被配置了connectedReporting并且UE确定其偏好修改先前指示的离开RRC连接态(it would prefer to revert an earlier indication to transition out of RRC_CONNECTED state),则启动定时器T346f,将定时器的值设置为releasePreferenceProhibitTimer,发起传输UEAssistanceInformation消息以提供释放偏好。
上述传输UEAssistanceInformation消息以提供释放偏好具体包括以下操作:
在UEAssistanceInformation消息中包含releasePreference,设置preferredRRC-State为传输UEAssistanceInformation消息所期望的RRC状态。
对于被配置了ReleasePreferenceConfig域和musim-AssistanceConfig域的UE,当UE由于MUSIM的目的向网络A发送请求释放RRC连接的RRC消息后(即所述RRC消息UEAssistanceInformation中包含musim-Prefere dRRC-State域),在UE接收到来自网络A的释放RRC连接的RRCRelease消息前或者UE在定时器T到期前,又由于节能的目的(例如,没有上行数据)触发了提供辅助信息以离开RRC状态的过程(即确定偏好离开RRC_CONNECTED状态)。此时,由于UE已经向网络指示其希望网络释放当前RRC连接,故不需要再次向网络发送请求释放RRC连接的RRC消息,以节省信令开销。以下提供实施方式来实现所述目的。
实施例一
图1表示基于本公开的实施例的用户设备UE中的方法的流程图。
由于MUSIM目的向网络发送包含请求离开RRC连接态指示信息的UEAssistanceInformation消息后启动定时器T346f。
具体的,具有提供MUSIM辅助信息的UE需要离开RRC_CONNECTED状态(因为MUSIM目的需要离开RRC连接态)时,如果UE被配置提供MUSIM辅助信息(或者被配置了musim-AssistanceConfig)并且UE需要离开RRC_CONNECTED状态,则执行以下操作至少一项:
(1)UE发起传输UEAssistanceInformation消息以提供MUSIM辅助信息。
(2)启动定时器T,将定时器的值设置为musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer。(UE被配置了musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer才执行此操作)
(3)启动定时器T346f,将定时器的值设置为releasePreferenceProhibitTimer。(UE被配置了releasePreferenceProhibitTimer才执行此操作)
需要说明的是,变换上述(1)-(3)的执行顺序得到的实施例也是本公开保护的范围。
可选的,当UE被配置了musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer,则上述实施例还需满足musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer对应的定时器T346x未运行才能执行上述操作(1)-(3),和/或执行以下操作(4):
(4)启动禁止定时器T346x,将禁止定时器T346x的值设置为musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer(UE被配置了musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer才执行此操作)。
需要说明的是,变换上述(1)-(4)的执行顺序得到的实施例也是本 公开保护的范围。
此外,当定时器T到期时,UE执行进入RRC_IDLE时需要执行的操作(perform the actions upon going to RRC_IDLE)。UE进入RRC_IDLE态执行的操作可包括重置媒体访问控制MAC、释放所有的无线资源(包括释放无线链路控制RLC实体、回程适配协议BAP实体、MAC配置和所有已建立的无线承载的分组数据汇聚协议PDCP实体和服务数据适配协议SDAP实体、回程BH RLC信道)、向上层指示RRC连接的释放及释放原因等。
实施例二
只有定时器T和定时器T346f均未运行,具有提供辅助信息以离开RRC连接态的UE才能发起UEAssistanceInformation消息以指示其偏好离开RRC连接态(为节能目的请求离开RRC连接态)或改变其偏好的RRC状态。
具体的,如果UE被配置提供其释放的偏好并且定时器T346f未运行,并且定时器T未运行(UE被配置了musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer才执行此此判断条件),则执行以下操作:
如果UE确定其偏好离开RRC连接态,或者如果UE被配置了connectedReporting并且UE确定其偏好修改先前指示的离开RRC连接态(it would prefer to revert an earlier indication to transition out of RRC_CONNECTED state),则启动定时器T346f,将定时器的值设置为releasePreferenceProhibitTimer,发起传输UEAssistanceInformation消息以提供释放偏好。
本公开中,传输UEAssistanceInformation消息以提供释放偏好具体包括以下操作:
在UEAssistanceInformation消息中包含releasePreference,设置releasePreference域中的preferredRRC-State为传输UEAssistanceInformation消息所期望的RRC状态。
实施例三
只有禁止定时器T346x和定时器T346f均未运行,具有提供辅助信息以离开RRC连接态的UE才能发起UEAssistanceInformation消息以指示其偏好离开RRC连接态(为节能目的请求离开RRC连接态)或改变其偏好 的RRC状态
具体的,如果UE被配置提供其释放的偏好并且定时器T346f未运行,并且禁止定时器T346x未运行(UE被配置了musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer才执行此判断条件),则执行以下操作:
如果UE确定其偏好离开RRC连接态,或者如果UE被配置了connectedReporting并且UE确定其偏好修改先前指示的离开RRC连接态(it would prefer to revert an earlier indication to transition out of RRC_CONNECTED state),则启动定时器T346f,将定时器的值设置为releasePreferenceProhibitTimer,发起传输UEAssistanceInformation消息以提供释放偏好。可选的,在启动定时器T346f时还启动定时器T346x。
传输UEAssistanceInformation消息以提供释放偏好具体包括以下操作:
在UEAssistanceInformation消息中包含releasePreference,设置releasePreference域中的preferredRRC-State为传输UEAssistanceInformation消息所期望的RRC状态。
实施例四UE不能被同时配置ReleasePreferenceConfig域和musim-AssistanceConfig域
在本实施例中,UE不能被同时配置ReleasePreferenceConfig域和musim-AssistanceConfig域。换言之,当且仅当UE没有被配置ReleasePreferenceConfig域时才可以被配置musim-AssistanceConfig域,反之亦然。
需要说明的是,本公开中关于定时器是否正在运行的判断操作和启动定时器的操作是只有在所述定时器对应的参数被配置了才执行,否则不执行相应的操作。
图2表示基于本公开的实施例的用户设备的框图。
以下说明本公开涉及的部分消息或字段的含义。
UEAssistanceInformation消息用于向网络指示UE辅助信息。
musim-AssistanceConfig域(也可记为musim-AssistanceConfig-Leave域)配置UE报告辅助信息,即配置UE报告其为MUSIM目的的释放偏好。基站可以通过携带在RRC消息(例如RRCReconfiguration消息)中的musim-AssistanceConfig域来指示UE上报其为MUSIM目的的释放偏好。
preferredRRC-State域(filed)用于指示UE偏好(prefer)/期望的RR C状态(Indicates the UE′s preferred RRC state),即UE偏好从RRC连接态释放到的RRC状态。例如,如果这个域设置为idle,则指示UE偏好从RRC连接态释放到RRC空闲态(The value idle is indicated if the UE prefers to be released from RRC_CONNECTED and transition to RRC_IDLE);如果这个域设置为inactive,则指示UE偏好从RRC连接态释放到RRC非激活态;这个域设置为connected,则指示UE偏好改变(revert)先前离开RRC_CONNECTED的指示;如果这个域设置为outOfConnected,则指示UE偏好释放RRC连接并且没有偏好进入的RRC状态(has no preferred RRC state to transition to)。
musim-PreferredRRC-State指示UE离开RRC_CONNECTED状态时偏好的RRC状态(或者指示UE偏好离开RRC状态),其取值可以为IDLE或INACTIVE或outOfRRCConnected。如果这个域设置为IDLE,则指示UE偏好从RRC连接态释放到RRC空闲态;如果这个域设置为INACTIVE,则指示UE偏好从RRC连接态释放到RRC非激活态;如果这个域设置为outOfRRCConnected,则指示UE偏好释放RRC连接并且没有偏好进入的RRC状态。outOfRRCConnected仅用于指示UE希望网络释放当前RRC连接但不指示期望释放RRC连接后进入的RRC状态。此外,musim-PreferredRRC-State域的取值可以与preferredRRC-State域相同,或者是preferredRRC-State域取值的子集,例如,musim-PreferredRRC-State域的取值为{idle,inactive}或者{idle,inactive,outOfConnected}。
定时器T的取值由基站通过在发送给UE的RRC消息中携带的musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer域为UE配置,musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer指示用于UE不等待网络应答而离开RRC_CONNECTED状态的时间(或定时器)。当定时器T到期,UE为MUSIM目的自动离开RRC_CONNECTED状态和进入RRC_IDLE。如果musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer是必选配置(mandatory),那么可以不需要配置musim-AssistanceConfig域,相应的,是否配置了musim-AssistanceConfig域的判断都可以替换为是否配置了musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer域。
定时器T346x的取值由基站通过在发送给UE的RRC消息中携带的musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer域为UE配置,musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer是用于为MUSIM目的的释放偏好辅助信息报告的禁止定时 器,即用于禁止UE频繁向基站发送包含musim-PreferredRRC-State域的UEAssistanceInformation消息。
定时器T346f的取值由基站通过在发送给UE的RRC消息中携带的releasePreferenceProhibitTimer域为UE配置,releasePreferenceProhibitTimer是用于释放偏好辅助信息报告的禁止定时器(Prohibit timer for release preference assistance information reporting),即用于禁止UE频繁向基站发送包含preferredRRC-State域的UEAssistanceInformation消息。
connectedReporting指示UE可以在报告离开RRC连接态之后报告偏好保持在RRC连接态(Indicates that the UE can report a preference to remain inRRC_CONNECTED state following a report to leave RRC_CONNECTEDstate)。
用于实现本公开各实施例功能的计算机可执行指令或程序可以记录在计算机可读存储介质上。可以通过使计算机系统读取记录在所述记录介质上的程序并执行这些程序来实现相应的功能。此处的所谓“计算机系统”可以是嵌入在该设备中的计算机系统,可以包括操作系统或硬件(如外围设备)。“计算机可读存储介质”可以是半导体记录介质、光学记录介质、磁性记录介质、短时动态存储程序的记录介质、或计算机可读的任何其他记录介质。

Claims (9)

  1. 一种由用户设备UE执行的方法,
    所述UE被配置提供多全球用户识别卡MUSIM辅助信息,
    在所述UE需要离开无线资源控制RRC连接态的情况下,执行以下步骤中的至少一项:
    所述UE发起传输UE辅助信息消息,以提供所述MUSIM辅助信息;
    启动定时器T,将所述定时器T的值设置为指示用于所述UE不等待网络应答而离开所述RRC连接态的时间或定时器musim-LeaveWithoutResponseTimer;
    启动定时器T346f,将所述定时器T346f的值设置为用于释放偏好辅助信息报告的禁止定时器releasePreferenceProhibitTimer。
  2. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,
    当所述UE被配置了musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer,则还需满足所述musim-PreferedRRCStateProhibitTimer未运行,才无先后顺序地执行所述步骤中的至少一项。
  3. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,其中,
    当所述定时器T到期时,所述UE执行进入RRC空闲态时需要执行的操作。
  4. 根据权利要求1-3中任一项所述的方法,其中,
    如果所述UE被配置提供释放偏好releasePreference并且所述定时器T346f未运行,并且所述定时器T未运行,则执行以下操作:
