Abstract

Disclosed is a rotation device, which is provided at a general cylinder lift so as to apply rotational force to a cylinder lift rod. The rotation device according to an embodiment comprises: a housing having a case shape with an opened upper surface, and having a hole formed in the center thereof; a geared motor which is provided in the housing, and which has an output shaft that is parallel to the center axis of the hole; a pinion coupled to the output shaft; a first ring, which is provided in the housing so as to encompass the hole, has, on the outer periphery thereof, a plain gear part engaging with the pinion, and has a ratchet gear part formed on the inner periphery thereof; a second ring which is disposed inside the first ring, and which has a vertical width larger than that of the first ring, has a ratchet gear part formed at the outer periphery thereof, and has a cut portion; and a stopper which is provided in the housing, and which presses the outer periphery of the second ring toward the center of the hole by means of a control signal.
