Each side wall 61 of the rib portion 60 extends longitudinally and rearward of the vehicle and connects a front wall 62 and a rear wall 63 .
When the seat cowl 50 is mounted on the saddle-ride type vehicle 10, the upper edge 61a of the side wall 61 extends rearward from the upper edge 56c of the front wall 56 of the base portion in a slightly raised rearward posture as viewed from the side of the vehicle. Further, an upper edge 61 a of the side wall 61 is bent downward at an intermediate portion between the front and rear sides of the side wall 61 when viewed from the side of the vehicle, extends rearward in a rearwardly downward posture, and is connected to an upper edge 63 a of the rear wall 63 .
That is, in a vehicle side view, the front portion of the upper edge 61a is a rearward rising portion 61b extending rearwardly upward, and the rear portion of the upper edge 61a is a rearwardly falling portion 61c extending rearwardly downward.
The rib portion 60 is covered from above by the cowl portion 52 , and the storage portion 58 defined by the rib portion 60 is positioned inside the cowl portion 52 .
The upper edges 61 a of the left and right side walls 61 are covered from above by the cowl upper surface portion 80 .
A rear rising portion 61b and a rear falling portion 61c of the upper edge 61a are spaced downward from the inner surface 80c of the cowl upper surface portion 80 and do not contact the inner surface 80c.
The rear descending portion 61c is formed along the rear descending inner surface 80c.
In the saddle-ride type vehicle 10, the cowl upper surface portion 80 of the seat cowl 50 is slanted rearward, so the running wind smoothly flows rearward along the cowl upper surface portion 80. Therefore, the air resistance of the seat cowl 50 can be reduced, and the aerodynamic characteristics of the saddle-ride type vehicle 10 are good.
Articles stored in the storage section 58 can be supported in the left-right direction by the left and right side walls 61 , and can be supported in the vehicle front-rear direction by the front wall 62 and the rear wall 63 . Therefore, the article can be well supported by the storage section 58 .
In the seat cowl 50 , the position of the upper edge 61 a of the side wall 61 indicates the maximum load capacity of the storage section 58 . For example, the manual for the seat cowl 50 describes that the position of the upper edge 61a of the side wall 61 serves as a guideline for the maximum load capacity of the storage portion 58. FIG.
With the cowl portion 52 removed, an occupant or the like can use the position of the upper edge 61a of the side wall 61 as a guide and store an article in the storage portion 58 up to the height of the upper edge 61a. After that, the occupant or the like attaches the cowl portion 52 to the base portion 51 .
In the seat cowl 50, by using the position of the upper edge 61a as a guide, the articles in the storage section 58 are prevented from being overloaded in terms of height, so that the articles do not interfere with the mounting of the cowl section 52. is suppressed, and the cowl portion 52 can be satisfactorily attached to the base portion 51 .
In the seat cowl 50, the cowl upper surface portion 80 is slanted rearwardly downward. Makes it easier to understand the maximum load capacity.
In addition, since the upper edge 61a of the side wall 61 is spaced downward from the inner surface 80c of the cowl upper surface portion 80, even if an article is stored in the storage section 58 slightly beyond the position of the upper edge 61a, the cowl will not move. The portion 52 can be satisfactorily attached to the base portion 51 .
Referring to FIG. 7, an upper edge 63a of the rear wall 63 of the rib portion 60 is formed along the inner surface 80c of the cowl upper surface portion 80 in a curved shape that protrudes upward. That is, the upper edge 63a is formed in an arch shape extending in the vehicle width direction. In the seat cowl 50, the position of the upper edge 63a of the rear wall 63 indicates the maximum load capacity at the rear end of the storage section 58. As shown in FIG. For example, the manual for the seat cowl 50 describes that the position of the upper edge 63a of the rear wall 63 serves as a guideline for the maximum load capacity of the storage portion 58. FIG.
In the seat cowl 50, since the upper edge 63a is arch-shaped, a large load capacity can be ensured. Therefore, it is possible to prevent objects from interfering with the mounting of the cowl portion 52 , and the cowl portion 52 can be satisfactorily attached to the base portion 51 .
In addition, since the upper edge 63a of the rear wall 63 is spaced downward from the inner surface 80c of the cowl upper surface portion 80, even if an article is stored in the storage section 58 slightly beyond the position of the upper edge 63a, The cowl portion 52 can be satisfactorily attached to the base portion 51 .
At least a portion of the upper edge 63a may be formed in an arch shape along the inner surface 80c.
6, the cross member 39 of the rear frame 20 (FIG. 2) is provided with a seat stay 43 to which the rear end portion of the seat 17 is fixed. The seat stay 43 extends rearward and upward from the upper surface of the cross member 39 .
The seat 17 has a mounting portion 17f extending from the lower surface of the rear portion of the seat 17 to the rear of the seat rear surface 17d. The mounting portion 17f is fixed to the seat stay 43 by a seat fastener 17g inserted through the mounting portion 17f from above.
The front portion of the bottom wall 55 of the base portion 51 covers the sheet fastener 17g and the mounting portion 17f from above. Thereby, the sheet fastener 17g and the mounting portion 17f can be hidden by the bottom wall 55, and the appearance is good.
Referring to FIG. 6, the base front wall 56 approaches the seat rear surface 17d from behind. The inclined portion 56a of the base portion front wall 56 extends forward and upward along the seat rear surface 17d that is inclined forward and upward.
A lower end portion of the cowl front surface portion 82 overlaps an upper portion of the base portion front wall 56 from the front behind the seat rear surface 17d. A lower end portion of the cowl front surface portion 82 is spaced forward from an upper portion of the base portion front wall 56 .
A lower edge 82a of the cowl front surface 82 is located below an upper end 17e of the seat rear surface 17d and is spaced upward and rearward from the seat rear surface 17d.
Near the lower end of the cowl front surface 82, a labyrinth structure is formed by the upper end 17e, the lower edge 82a positioned below the upper end 17e, and the upper edge 56c positioned above the lower edge 82a. Thereby, the waterproofness of the front surface of the seat cowl 50 can be improved.
FIG. 9 is an enlarged sectional view of a portion of FIG. 6 where the seat cowl 50 is close to the seat rear surface 17d.
A distance L1 between the inclined portion 56a of the base front wall 56 and the seat rear surface 17d is smaller than a distance L2 between the front edge 82b of the cowl front surface 82 and the seat rear surface 17d. Here, the distance L1 is substantially constant over the entire height direction of the inclined portion 56a. Further, the front edge 82b is the front edge of the lower end of the cowl front portion 82. As shown in FIG.
For example, when the seat 17 is deformed by an occupant sitting on the seat 17, the seat rear surface 17d is displaced rearward. In the saddle type vehicle 10, the distance L1 is smaller than the distance L2. Therefore, when the seat rear surface 17d is displaced rearward, the seat rear surface 17d moves to the front surface of the inclined portion 56a before the front edge 82b of the cowl front surface portion 82. Contact. Therefore, the front edge 82b of the cowl front surface portion 82 is prevented from strongly contacting the seat rear surface 17d, and the occurrence of scratches on the seat rear surface 17d and the front edge 82b can be suppressed.
Since the inclined portion 56a is located in a complicated place below the cowl front portion 82, it is difficult to be visually recognized from the outside. On the other hand, since the front edge 82b of the cowl front surface portion 82 is exposed to the outside, for example, if the coating of the front edge 82b is damaged, the damage is easily noticeable. In this embodiment, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of scratches on the front edge 82b.
As described above, according to the embodiment to which the present invention is applied, the storage portion structure includes the seat cowl 50 provided behind the seat 17 for the occupant of the saddle type vehicle 10, and the seat cowl 50 provided inside the seat cowl 50. The seat cowl 50 is inclined rearwardly downward when viewed from the side of the vehicle, and the seat cowl 50 includes a base portion 51 attached to a bracket 53 which is a vehicle body, and a cowl portion covering the base portion 51 from above. 52. The base portion 51 includes a bottom wall 55 and a rib portion 60 extending upward from the bottom wall 55 to partition the storage portion 58 . A cowl upper surface portion 80, which is the upper surface of the cowl portion 52 when viewed from the side of the vehicle, is formed downwardly rearward, and at least a portion of the upper edge 61a of the side wall 61 when viewed from the side of the vehicle. is formed along the inner surface 80c of the cowl upper surface portion 80 so as to descend rearwardly.
According to this configuration, the storage section 58 can hold articles by a pair of left and right side walls 61 extending upward from the bottom wall 55 . In addition, since the upper edge 61a of the side wall 61 is formed along the inner surface 80c of the cowl upper surface portion 80 so as to descend rearwardly, the upper edge 61a of the side wall 61 serves as a guideline for the maximum load capacity of the storage portion 58. Even if 80 is rearwardly lowered, the maximum load capacity is easy to understand. Therefore, the articles can be well held in the storage section 58 inside the seat cowl 50 and the articles can be easily stored in the storage section 58 .
Also, the upper edge 61a of the side wall 61 is spaced downward from the inner surface 80c.
According to this configuration, there is a margin in the load capacity with respect to the maximum load capacity indicated by the upper edge 61 a of the side wall 61 , so articles can be easily stored in the storage section 58 . Further, since it is not necessary to control the contact between the upper edge 61a of the side wall 61 and the inner surface 80c, the cowl portion 52 can be easily assembled to the base portion 51. As shown in FIG.
Further, the rib portion 60 includes a front wall 62 that partitions the storage portion 58 from the front, and a rear wall 63 that partitions the storage portion 58 from the rear.
According to this configuration, the storage section 58 is partitioned by the front wall 62 , the rear wall 63 , and the left and right side walls 61 , so articles can be held in the storage section 58 satisfactorily.
At least part of the upper edge 63a of the rear wall 63 is formed in an arch shape along the inner surface 80c of the cowl upper surface portion 80. As shown in FIG.
According to this configuration, the upper edge 63a of the rear wall 63 of the rib portion 60 can be used as a guide for the maximum load capacity of the storage section 58, and the maximum load capacity can be easily recognized. For this reason, the articles can be well held in the storage section 58 inside the seat cowl 50 and the articles can be easily stored in the storage section 58 .
Further, the base portion 51 includes outer ribs 57 extending upward from the side edge portions and the rear edge portion of the bottom wall 55 outside the rib portion 60 in plan view, and the lower edge portion 86 of the cowl portion 52 is flat. It is located outside the outer rib 57 when viewed and covers the outer rib 57 from the outside.
According to this configuration, the labyrinth structure formed by the outer rib 57 and the lower edge portion 86 of the cowl portion 52 and the rib portion 60 extending upward from the bottom wall 55 can enhance the waterproofness of the storage portion 58 . .
A front fastener 65 and a rear fastener 66 for fixing the base portion 51 to the bracket 53 are arranged between the rib portion 60 and the outer rib 57 .
According to this configuration, since the front fastener 65 and the rear fastener 66 are positioned outside the storage section 58 , the front fastener 65 and the rear fastener 66 interfere with articles stored in the storage section 58 . hard. Therefore, it is easy to store articles in the storage section 58 .
The base portion 51 includes a base portion front wall 56 that faces the seat rear surface 17d, which is the rear surface of the seat 17, from behind. 82, the cowl front portion 82 overlaps the upper portion of the base portion front wall 56 from the front behind the seat rear surface 17d, and the lower edge 82a of the cowl front portion 82 is positioned below the upper end 17e of the seat rear surface 17d. do.
According to this configuration, a labyrinth structure is formed by the seat rear surface 17d, the lower edge 82a of the cowl front surface 82, and the upper portion of the base front wall 56, so that the waterproofness of the storage unit 58 can be improved.
Further, the distance L1 between the base front wall 56 and the seat rear surface 17d is smaller than the distance L2 between the front edge 82b of the cowl front surface 82 and the seat rear surface 17d.
According to this configuration, when the seat 17 is largely deformed due to seating of an occupant, the seat rear surface 17d hits the base portion front wall 56 before the front edge 82b of the cowl front portion 82 does. As a result, contact between the seat rear surface 17d and the front edge 82b of the cowl front surface 82 can be suppressed, and damage to the seat rear surface 17d and the cowl front surface 82 can be suppressed.
Left and right fastening portions 71 for fastening the cowl portion 52 and the base portion 51 to the left and right are provided in the front and rear intermediate portions of the base portion 51 as viewed from the side of the vehicle.
According to this configuration, the rear-down shape of the cowl portion 52 can reduce the capacity of the storage portion 58 and easily cause overloading. .

According to this configuration, the storage section can hold articles by the pair of left and right side walls extending upward from the bottom wall. In addition, since the upper edge of the side wall is formed along the inner surface of the upper surface of the cowl, the upper edge of the side wall serves as a guideline for the maximum load capacity of the storage compartment, and when the upper surface of the cowl is lowered rearward. Even so, the maximum load capacity is easy to understand. Therefore, the articles can be well held in the storage section inside the seat cowl, and the articles can be easily stored in the storage section.
(Arrangement 2) The storage structure according to Arrangement 1, wherein the upper edge of the side wall is spaced downward from the inner surface.
According to this configuration, there is a margin in the load capacity with respect to the maximum load capacity indicated by the upper edge of the side wall, so it is easy to store the articles in the storage section. Moreover, since it is not necessary to control the contact between the upper edge of the side wall and the inner surface, it is easy to assemble the cowl portion to the base portion.
(Configuration 3) The storage structure according to configuration 1 or 2, wherein the rib includes a front wall that partitions the storage from the front and a rear wall that partitions the storage from the rear.
According to this configuration, since the storage section is defined by the front wall, the rear wall, and the left and right side walls, the articles can be held well in the storage section.
(Configuration 4) The storage structure according to configuration 3, wherein at least a part of the upper edge of the rear wall is formed in an arch shape along the inner surface of the upper surface.
According to this configuration, the upper edge of the rear wall of the rib portion can be used as a guide for the maximum load capacity of the storage section, making it easy to understand the maximum load capacity. Therefore, the articles can be well held in the storage section inside the seat cowl, and the articles can be easily stored in the storage section.
(Arrangement 5) The base portion includes an outer rib extending upward from the side edge portion and the rear edge portion of the bottom wall outside the rib portion in a plan view, and the lower edge portion of the cowl portion is flat. 5. The storage portion structure according to any one of configurations 1 to 4, wherein the storage portion structure is positioned outside the outer ribs in view and covers the outer ribs from the outside.
According to this configuration, the labyrinth structure formed by the outer rib and the lower edge of the cowl and the rib portion extending upward from the bottom wall can improve the waterproofness of the storage portion.
(Arrangement 6) The storage section structure according to Arrangement 5, wherein a fastener for fixing the base section to the vehicle body is arranged between the rib section and the outer rib.
According to this configuration, since the fasteners are positioned outside the storage section, the fasteners are less likely to interfere with articles stored in the storage section. Therefore, it is easy to store articles in the storage section.
(Configuration 7) The base portion includes a base portion front wall facing the rear surface of the seat from behind, the cowl portion includes a cowl front surface portion extending downward from the front edge of the upper surface, and the cowl front surface 6, wherein the cowl front portion overlaps the upper portion of the front wall of the base portion from the front behind the rear surface, and the lower edge of the cowl front portion is located below the upper end of the rear surface. The storage section structure according to any one of the above.
According to this configuration, a labyrinth structure is formed by the rear surface of the seat, the lower edge of the front cowl portion, and the upper portion of the front wall of the base portion, so that the waterproofness of the storage portion can be improved.
(Structure 8) The storage structure according to structure 7, wherein the distance between the front wall of the base portion and the rear surface is smaller than the distance between the front edge of the cowl front surface portion and the rear surface.
According to this configuration, when the seat is largely deformed due to, for example, an occupant sitting on the seat, the rear surface of the seat hits the front wall of the base portion before the front edge of the front cowl portion. As a result, contact between the rear surface of the seat and the front edge of the cowl front surface can be suppressed, and the occurrence of scratches on the rear surface of the seat and the cowl front surface can be suppressed.
