Description

SILENCER SYSTEM FOR THE LONG-BARRELED FIREARMS
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to a silencer system for the long-barreled firearms, which has been designed for use in the long-barreled firearms, and includes a return spring mechanism, and the length and internal volume of which can be changed during firing.
STATE OF THE ART
The silencers are the equipment used in the firearms to hide the flame that occurs with the effect of the burst and to reduce the sound. Hiding the flame and reducing the sound are important in order that the location of the sniper cannot be detected. When the weapon is fired, the sound produced by the burst spreads out in the form of a pressure wave. The main focus in the silencer designs is to reduce the pressure of the bursting gases in a controlled manner and to reduce the temperature and speed thereof. For this purpose, the expansion chambers and gas directing fins which act as the flame and sound traps are used in the silencers used in the state of the art.
Although the silencers in the state of the art reduce, to some extent, the barrel rearing which occurs during shooting, especially in the short-barreled weapons such as pistols, due to the additional weight that they create in front of the barrel, they have not completely eliminated the problem of the barrel rearing.
In the utility model application with the priority number CN201721878647U in the state of the art, there is a compact structure consisting of a flexible silencer, including a separation chamber, a rear expansion chamber sleeve and a front expansion chamber sleeve, wherein the rear expansion chamber sleeve and the front expansion chamber sleeve are hollow sleeves, and the separation chamber is arranged in the rear expansion chamber sleeve and the front expansion chamber sleeve, and it is intended to solve the problem of excess length. In another document, US201715499430A, a firearm adapter is described, which is easy to attach and align and which allows a muzzle device, such as a silencer, to be attached safely to a broad range of firearm sizes and shapes with a single device.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Silencer; barrel noise, rearing; firearm
An object of the silencer according to the invention is to compress the spring with the spring mechanism with the effect of increasing pressure in the silencer after firing and to increase the total length in direct proportion to the compression amount of the spring.
Another object of the invention is to increase the total volume of the silencer with increasing length, to further reduce the pressure of the gases resulting from the burst, to reduce the velocity and to allow time for the temperature to decrease.
Another object of the invention is to provide the center of gravity of the silencer to move forward simultaneously with increasing length, and to increase the moment effect of this weight with the increase in length by ensuring that the weight of the silencer moves away from the end point of the barrel, and to reduce the barrel rearing by creating a force against the barrel rearing.
Another object of the invention is to provide the kinematic balance by creating a movement in the opposite direction to the movement of the mechanism in the semiautomatic rifles.
Another object of the invention is that, when the silencer is mounted on the barrel in terms of design, the weapon can have more volume without extending its total length since it has a volume at a distance further back from the barrel exit.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The silencer system according to the invention for the long-barreled weapons comprises
- a cylindrical main silencer body 4 on which all the components of the silencer are mounted, and which allows the silencer to be attached to the barrel,
- a slide mechanism which can be moved forward by the pressure generated during firing and is formed by screwing a rear body 2 and a front body 5 together,
- a spring 3 which will store the energy released by the burst while the slide mechanism moves forward and will return the slide to its original position, - a rear cover 1 which has the holes thereon for the evacuation of the de-energized gases after the slide mechanism reaches a certain position, and which also provides the sealing of the slide rear body and will be screwed to the main silencer body,
- air and flame traps 7 which are mounted inside the slide front body 5 and designed angularly to prevent the bursting gases from escaping directly and to direct the air,
- a mounting bushing 6 which will be used to fix the position of the air and flame traps 7 inside the slide front body 5, and
- a front cover 8 which will be screwed to the slide front body for easily mounting and fixing all parts which are mounted inside the slide front body 5.
The operating mode of the silencer system according to the invention is as follows during use:
After the weapon is fired, some of the air included and compressed between the bullet and the barrel exit in the barrel is filled into the slide rear body 2 through the air flow holes 10 located in the main silencer body 4 and absorbed, and the front of the bullet is substantially cleared. The flame and pressurized gases coming from behind the bullet are filled into the silencer and cause the slide mechanism to move forward with the bursting pressure that they apply to the air and flame traps 7. During this movement, both the volume of the silencer increases and the gas pressure decreases, and the spring 3 is compressed and stores some of the bursting energy thereon. After the slide mechanism is moved by a certain distance, the front of the air evacuation holes 11 on the rear cover 1 is cleared and some of the energy-absorbed gases are discharged. Thus, the pressure inside decreases and the slide mechanism returns to its original position with the effect of the spring force. This operation systematic is repeated sequentially each time the trigger is pulled.
Since all parts of the silencer system can be easily and completely disassembled and reassembled, the parts can be easily disassembled and cleaned. In addition, the capacity of the system can be easily increased or decreased for the weapons for the different needs by using a longer slide front body 5, a higher number of air and flame traps 7, and a spring with a higher spring constant.
The movable body structure allows the high-pressure hot gas to be cooled and the pressure thereof to be decreased by its forward movement after bursting and which provides a controlled low-noise evacuation of the air. In addition, the forward movement provides the weapon system with the kinematic balance by creating a movement in the opposite direction to the movement of the mechanism in the semiautomatic or fully automatic weapons. The spring rate can be selected according to the weapon system in which the silencer will be used, and the type of the ammunition used.
The location and number of the holes can be arranged according to the application platform and the type of the ammunition to be used on this platform.
It is necessary to deflect the flow direction of the air coming out of the barrel in order to provide the mechanism in the silencer to be operated properly. For this reason, these air and flame traps is necessarily positioned at a certain angle.
