2019年4月,在第三代合作伙伴计划(3rd Generation Partnership Project:3GPP)RAN#86次全会上批准了一个5G技术标准的新的研究项目(参见非专利文献:RP-193255:New WID on enhancement of data collection for SON/MDT in NR)。其研究目的之一在版本16的NR系统中的移动信息报告机制的基础上进行增强。
本公开的目的在于实现在NR系统中增强的移动信息报告机制,更进一步地,针对在DC场景下UE如何记录移动信息的问题提出解决方法。
发明内容
本公开实施例的目的在于在实现在版本16的NR系统中增强的移动信息报告机制,更进一步地,针对在DC场景下UE如何记录关于主辅小区组小区(Primary Secondary Cell Group Cell,PSCell)的移动信息的问题提出解决方法。本公开实施例提供了在用户设备中执行的移动信息报告方法以及相应的用户设备。
根据本公开的第一方面,提供了一种由用户设备UE执行的方法,包括:
第一步,所述UE接收来自网络侧的第一UEInformationRequest消息,该第一UEInformationRequest消息包含用于请求所述UE上报移动历史信息MHI的指示;
第二步,所述UE在生成响应给所述网络侧的第二UEInformationResponse消息时,执行第一操作,该第一操作是包含mobilityInformationReport信息元素,并将该mobilityInformationReport信息元素设置为包含保存所述MHI的UE变量中的条目的操作,
在生成响应给所述网络侧的所述第二UEInformationResponse消息时,执行下述操作的一种或多种:
包含所述mobilityInformationReport信息元素,并将该mobilityInformationReport设置为包含保存所述MHI的所述UE变量中的条目;
判断当前PCell是否与保存所述MHI的所述UE变量中的最后一个条目中的所述PCell相同;以及
第三步,所述UE向所述网络侧发送所述第二UEinformationResponse消息,其中,该第二UEinformationResponse消息包含在所述第二步中生成的MHI。

下文以长期演进系统(Long Term Evolution,LTE)/NR移动通信系统及其后续的演进版本作为示例应用环境,具体描述了根据本公开的多个实施方式。然而,需要指出的是,本公开不限于以下实施方式,而是可适用于更多其它的无线通信系统。若无特殊说明,在本公开中, 小区和基站的概念可以互相替换;LTE系统也用于指代5G及其之后的LTE系统(如称为eLTE系统,或者可以连接到5G核心网的LTE系统),同时LTE可以用演进的通用陆地无线接入(Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access,E-UTRA)或演进的通用陆地无线接入网E-UTRAN来替换。本公开中,RRC inactive状态也可对应于LTE系统中的RRC连接被挂起的RRC空闲状态。取消、释放、删除、清空和清除等可以替换。执行、使用和应用可替换。配置和重配置可以替换。链路和连接可以替换。监测(monitor)和检测(detect)可替换。
下述先简要描述本公开实施例所涉及到的在先技术。
DC下的辅小区组SCG和PSCell
DC场景下,UE可以同时通过两个基站获取无线资源。其中一个是主基站(Master Node,MN),是UE维持RRC连接的基站,通过初始接入过程或切换过程而接入的基站;另外一个称为辅基站(Secondary Node,SN),可以为UE提供额外的无线资源。对于一个UE,MN可以包含一个或多个服务小区,称为主小区组(Master Cell Group,MCG),其中包含一个主小区(PCell);SN也可包含一个或多个服务小区,称为辅小区组(Secondary Cell Group,SCG),其中包含一个主辅小区组小区/或主辅小区PSCell。PCell和PSCell又可统称为特殊小区spCell。本公开中,SN和SCG、PSCell可以替换,MN和MCG、PCell可以替换。SN添加/变更/释放、SCG添加/变更/释放、MR-DC添加/变更/释放、PSCell添加/变更/释放在一定程度上可以替换。
现有机制中的移动信息报告机制:
当前的LTE系统和版本16的NR系统中,UE会记录移动历史信息(Mobility History Information,MHI),在本公开中,也简称作移动信息或移动历史报告。所述MHI记录了UE所经历的服务小区/主小区(Primary Cell,PCell))的变更信息。网络侧通过获取UE的MHI,可以获知UE的移动轨迹并在一定程度上确定UE的移动速度。网络 侧在决定该UE的移动性操作如切换参数的配置、切换目标小区的选择时可以结合所获取的信息进行更优化的配置,从而确保UE的移动性能。
在RRC空闲态和RRC连接态下的UE当发生服务小区/主小区变更时,在UE变量VarMobilityHistoryReport中增加一个条目(entry),在visitedCellId信息元素中记录之前的服务小区/PCell的小区标识(全局小区标识global cell identity或物理小区标识physical cell identity和小区的载波频率),还包括在该小区所停留/花费的时间(以timeSpent信息元素标识)。在LTE系统中,当UE进入E-UTRA时若之前处于out of service状态或者使用的是其他接入技术(Radio Access Technology,RAT),UE也会在变量VarMobilityHistoryReport中增加一个条目,在其中的timeSpent信息元素中记录UE处于E-UTRA之外的之间。这里的E-UTRA之外即包括out of service状态或使用其他RAT。在NR系统中,当UE进入正常驻留状态(camped normally state)或E-UTRA时,若之前处于LTE或NR的“any cell selection”或“camped on any cell”状态,则UE在变量VarMobilityHistoryReport中增加一个条目,并设置其中timeSpent元素为处于LTE或NR的“any cell selection”或“camped on any cell”状态所经历的时间。3GPP协议中定义了UE所保存的MHI的条目的最大数,比如16,当UE在执行上述增加一个新条目的操作时,若所保存的条目数量已达到最大值,则UE在增加新条目之前,删除所保存的MHI条目中最旧的条目。
处于RRC连接状态下的UE,若UE支持保存MHI且VarMobilityHistoryReport变量中有可用的MHI,则UE在上行RRC消息(如RRC连接建立完成、RRC连接恢复完成、RRC链接重配置完成)中包含一个用于告知基站其有保存的MHI的指示(mobilityHistoryAvail信息元素),设置该信息元素的值为TRUE。UE在随后的UE information过程中将所保存的MHI上报给基站。具体地,基站通过在UEInformationRequest消息中携带置为TRUE的mobilityHistoryReportReq信息元素来请求UE上报所保存的MHI,UE 则在响应的UEInformationResponse消息中将相关的移动历史信息包含在mobilityHistoryReport信息元素中上报给基站。在生成UEInformationResponse消息中的mobilityHistoryReport信息元素时,UE除了将所保存的UE变量VarMobilityHistoryReport中的历史小区相关的所有条目包含在mobilityHistoryReport信息元素中外,还会在该信息元素中新创建一个条目用来记录当前的小区信息,即设置该条目的visitedCellId信息元素为当前小区的小区标识和设置timeSpent信息元素为在当前小区所经历的时间。
现有机制中所述小区信息是对于空闲态或RRC inactive非活动态的服务小区或RRC连接态的PCell而言的。在LTE/NR系统中的DC场景下,除了PCell的移动性,UE同时执行PSCell的移动性。对于PSCell的变更,辅基站SN可以自行发起PSCell的变更,而无需主基站MN参与。首先,现有MHI机制中,SN无法获取PCell/服务小区的MHI;其次,考虑到MN和SN的网络部署情况的不同(比如在EN-DC的场景下,MN和SN为不同的RAT),即使SN可以从MN获取PCell/服务小区的MHI,因为SN缺乏对相关PCell/服务小区的网络部署信息,如小区范围大小等,SN可能无法从MHI中获取有帮助的信息。考虑到上述原因,一种可行的方法是,对MHI进行增强,所述增强包括UE记录对于SCG PSCell的MHI,该MHI可以上报给MN,以用于MN触发的PSCell添加/变更时的参数优化,也可以通过MN上报给SN以用于SN触发的PSCell变更时的PSCell选择或参数优化。为了便于描述,本公开中,将现有机制中的MHI称为M-MHI,而将基于PSCell变更而记录的PSCell的MHI称为S-MHI。
当前的3GPP结论中,UE的S-MHI和M-MHI不是作为独立的两个UE变量保存或上报,而是S-MHI和M-MHI关联在一起,保存在同一个UE变量中如VarMobilityHistoryReport。这种关联的S-MHI和M-MHI的报告方式,使得网络侧可以获知UE所经历的各个PCell和PSCell的关系,如某个PSCell当时对应的PCell是那个小区,从而得到更精确的移动信息或移动轨迹。一种实现方式A是,每一次PSCell 变更时,UE创建一个新的条目,记录PSCell的标识、其对应的PCell,及其对应的在该PSCell或PCell停留的时间,也就是每一个条目中最多仅包含一个PSCell的标识和一个PCell的标识。另一种实现方式B是,每一个条目中仅包含一个PCell,以及零个或几个PSCell的子条目。其中的几个PSCell的子条目是UE在该PCell时所经历的一个或多个PSCell所对应的子条目,所述子条目中包含UE在该PSCell中所停留的时间。本公开针对第二种实现方式。在这种实现方法下,为了记录PSCell的信息,对于一个PCell,当UE在该PCell第一次添加PSCell或第一个执行PSCell的变更时,UE就需要记录PSCell添加或变更之前的PSCell信息,一种可行的方法是,此时UE在用于记录MHI的UE变量VarMobilityHistoryReport中创建一个该PCell的条目,并将该次PSCell添加或变更记录。但若在此之后,UE收到网络侧的用于上报MHI的请求,根据现有系统的机制,UE在UEInformationResponse消息中的MobilityHistoryReport中除了包含MHI对应的UE变量中的内容外,还要为当前的小区PCell创建一个新的条目,用于包含该PCell的小区标识及在该PCell中所停留的时间。此时在前述方式下就可能会出现当前主小区记录条目重复的问题。如图1中所示,UE当前的服务PCell为PCell1,当UE进入PCell1时同时添加了PSCell A,然后经历了PSCell变更将PSCell变更为PSCell B,此时在PSCell变更时,UE在其用于保存MHI的UE变量VarMobilityHistoryReport中,添加一个新条目,其中记录了PCell 1和PSCell A以及在PSCell A和PCell 1中所停留的时间。当UE的PSCell为PSCell B时,若收到了网络侧请求其上报MHI的UEInformationRequest信息,则按照现有机制,UE除了将保存MHI的UE变量VarMobilityHistoryReport中的内容包含在要在上报的mobilityHistoryReport中外,还要在mobilityHistoryReport中为当前小区PCell 1创建一个新的条目,记录该PCell 1的信息。因为UE变量VarMobilityHistoryReport中已有该PCell 1的条目,这就使得UE实际上报的mobilityHistoryReport信息元素中包含了当前小区PCell 1的两 个条目,从而造成重复,也使得基站在收到该报告后,还需要结合着两个条目,才能得到当前小区PCell及对应的PSCell的移动信息,带来一些复杂性。本公开基于该问题提出解决方法。与PCell不同的是,UE的PSCell不是总是存在的。在一些情况下,比如处于RRC连接态的UE的业务量较小时,网络侧可以选择释放UE的SCG或者不配置SCG,使得UE处于单连接状态,此时UE没有配置的PSCell。本公开中也同样考虑了PSCell配置不连续的情况。另外,当记录了S-MHI的UE处于连接态时的服务小区是一个早于版本17的基站,如版本16的基站,那么该基站并不支持该UE上报包含S-MHI的移动历史信息,若UE上已经记录了对于之前PCell小区或当前PCell相关联的MHI时,UE如何上报当前PCell的移动历史信息也是本公开所关注的问题。
下述是本公开中基于上述问题在UE上执行的实施例。图2是实施例1~3所涉及的由用户设备执行的方法的流程图。
实施例1
该实施例提出了一种UE在配置了DC且支持PSCell的MHI情况下的MHI上报方法。根据本公开所述方法,在运用前述MHI实现方式B时,使得UE在上报MHI时,可以避免对当前小区的MHI信息重复上报的问题,减小信令开销,降低网络侧解析重复MHI而带来的复杂性。
如图2所示,包括以下步骤:
步骤1:UE接收来自网络侧的UEInformationRequest消息,其中包含用于请求UE上报移动历史信息MHI的指示(如mobilityHistoryReportReq置为True)。可选地,所述指示使能了UE上报包含S-MHI的移动历史信息MHI。
步骤2:UE在生成响应给网络侧的UEInformationResponse消息时,执行下述操作的一种或多种:
-包含mobilityInformationReport信息元素,并将其设置为包含保存移动历史信息的UE变量(如VarMobilityHistoryReport)中的条目;mobilityInformationReport信息元素用于包含向网络侧上报的UE的移动历史信息,此处该信息元素的名称仅为示例,并不限定其名称。

◆增加一个用于记录当前PSCell信息的子条目,在该子条目中,包含该PSCell的小区标识或在该PSCell所停留时间。所述在该PSCell所停留的时间指的是在该PSCell所对应的PCell是当前这个PCell下UE在该PSCell所停留的时间。考虑UE此时没有被配置PSCell的情况,此时UE增加的用于记录PSCell信息的子条目中不包含任何PSCell小区标识,仅包含一个时间信息,用于记录UE处于没有被配置PSCell的时间。
■如果不同,则UE在mobilityInformationReport信息元素中为当前PCell包含一个新的条目,并在该条目中执行下述一项或多项:
◆包含当前PCell的小区标识;
◆包含在当前PCell中所停留的时间信息(如设置timeSpent信息元素为在当前PCell中所停留的时间);
◆增加一个用于记录当前PSCell信息的子条目,在该子条目中,包含该PSCell的小区标识或在该PSCell所停留时间。可选地,增加一个用于记录当前PSCell信息的子条目仅在UE被使能了上报S-MHI时执行。可选地,考虑UE此时没有被配置PSCell的情况,此时UE增加的用于记录PSCell 信息的子条目中不包含任何PSCell小区标识,仅包含一个时间信息,用于记录UE处于没有被配置PSCell的时间。
所述UE判断当前PCell是否与保存移动历史信息的UE变量中的最后一个条目中的PCell相同,是基于小区标识或小区频率。
步骤3:UE向网络侧发送UEinformationResponse消息,其中包含步骤2中生成的移动历史信息。
实施例2
该实施例提出了一种UE在配置了DC且支持PSCell的MHI情况下的MHI上报方法。根据本公开所述方法,在运用前述MHI实现方式B时,若网络侧不支持包含S-MHI的MHI(如网络侧为版本16的基站),使得UE在上报MHI时,可以避免对当前小区的MHI信息重复上报的问题,减小信令开销的同时,也避免网络侧错误解析对当前小区的重复MHI而带来的问题。
如图2所示,包括以下步骤:

实施例4
该实施例对本公开的用户设备UE进行说明。图3是表示本发明所涉及的用户设备UE的框图。如图3所示,该用户设备UE30包括处理器301和存储器302。处理器301例如可以包括微处理器、微控制器、嵌入式处理器等。存储器302例如可以包括易失性存储器(如随机存取存储器RAM)、硬盘驱动器(HDD)、非易失性存储器(如闪速存储器)、或其他存储器等。存储器302上存储有程序指令。该指令在由处理器301运行时,可以执行本发明中详细描述的上述移动信息报告方法等的各种方法。
本公开中,一些不同实施例之间可以协同工作,除非特别指出,实施例之间的概念或定义可以通用。
在本公开中,“基站”是指具有较大发射功率和较广覆盖面积的移动通信数据和控制交换中心,包括资源分配调度、数据接收发送等功能。“用户设备”是指用户移动终端,例如包括移动电话、笔记本等可以与基站或者微基站进行无线通信的终端设备。

Claims (10)

  1. 一种由用户设备UE执行的方法,包括:
    第一步,所述UE接收来自网络侧的第一UEInformationRequest消息,该第一UEInformationRequest消息包含用于请求所述UE上报移动历史信息MHI的指示;
    第二步,所述UE在生成响应给所述网络侧的第二UEInformationResponse消息时,执行第一操作,该第一操作是包含mobilityInformationReport信息元素,并将该mobilityInformationReport信息元素设置为包含保存所述MHI的UE变量中的条目的操作,
    在生成响应给所述网络侧的所述第二UEInformationResponse消息时,执行下述操作的一种或多种:
    包含所述mobilityInformationReport信息元素,并将该mobilityInformationReport设置为包含保存所述MHI的所述UE变量中的条目;
    判断当前PCell是否与保存所述MHI的所述UE变量中的最后一个条目中的所述PCell相同;以及
    第三步,所述UE向所述网络侧发送所述第二UEinformationResponse消息,其中,该第二UEinformationResponse消息包含在所述第二步中生成的MHI。
  2. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,
    在生成响应给所述网络侧的所述第二UEInformationResponse消息时,执行下述操作的一种或多种:
    包含所述mobilityInformationReport信息元素,并将该mobilityInformationReport设置为包含保存所述移动历史信息的所述UE变量中的条目;
    判断保存所述移动历史信息的所述UE变量中的最后一个条目中的所述PCell是否与所述当前PCell是同一个小区;以及
    删除所述mobilityInformationReport信息元素中用于记录PSCell移动历史信息的所有子条目。
  3. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,
    在生成响应给所述网络侧的所述第二UEInformationResponse消息时,执行下述操作的一种或多种:
    包含所述mobilityInformationReport信息元素,并将该mobilityInformationReport设置为包含保存所述移动历史信息的所述UE变量中的条目;
    判断保存所述移动历史信息的所述UE变量中的最后一个条目中的所述PCell是否与所述当前PCell是同一个小区;
    在所述mobilityInformationReport信息元素中为所述当前PCell包含一个新的条目,并在该条目中执行下述一项或多项:包含所述当前PCell的小区标识;包含在所述当前PCell中所停留的时间信息;以及
    删除所述mobilityInformationReport信息元素中用于记录所述PSCell移动历史信息的所有子条目。
  4. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,
    所述指示是指示所述UE上报不包含S-MHI的所述MHI。
  5. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,
    所述指示使能了所述UE上报包含所述S-MHI的所述MHI。
  6. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,
    判断所述当前PCell与保存所述移动历史信息的所述UE变量中的最后一个条目中的所述PCell相同,则所述UE在所述mobilityInformationReport信息元素的最后一个条目中执行下述一项或多项:
    包含在所述当前PCell中所停留的时间信息;以及
    增加一个用于记录所述当前PSCell信息的子条目,在该子条目中,包含该PSCell的小区标识或在该PSCell所停留时间。
  7. 根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,
    判断所述当前PCell与保存所述移动历史信息的所述UE变量中的最后一个条目中的所述PCell不同,则所述UE在所述mobilityInfor mationReport信息元素中为所述当前PCell包含一个新的条目,并在该条目中执行下述一项或多项:
    包含所述当前PCell的小区标识;
    包含在所述当前PCell中所停留的时间信息;以及
    增加一个用于记录所述当前PSCell信息的子条目,在该子条目中,包含该所述PSCell的小区标识或在该PSCell所停留时间。
  8. 根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,
    判断保存所述移动历史信息的所述UE变量中的最后一个条目中的所述PCell与所述所述当前PCell是同一个小区,则所述UE删除所述mobilityInformationReport信息元素中最后一个条目。
  9. 根据权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,
    判断保存所述移动历史信息的所述UE变量中的最后一个条目中的所述PCell与所述当前PCell是同一个小区,则所述UE在所述mobilityInformationReport信息元素中最后一个条目包含在所述当前PCell中所停留的时间信息。
  10. 一种用户设备,包括:
    处理器;以及
    存储器,存储有指令;
    其中,所述指令在由所述处理器运行时执行根据权利要求1至9中的任一项所述的方法。
