It relates in particular to a reception structure for a child transport device of the foldable stroller type taking substantially the form of an aircraft cabin suitcase, closed, in its folded position.
Arrière-plan technique Technical background
Various foldable pushchairs for children are known which take the form of cabin luggage in order to facilitate transport by plane or during various trips in town, on the stairs of buildings, etc. These strollers include a child-receiving structure that can occupy an extended position and a folded position. This reception structure generally comprises a lower part provided with wheels intended to rest on the ground and an upper part articulated with respect to the lower part. The lower part forms the seat and the backrest in one piece, and the upper part forms the child's headrest. In some embodiments, the headrest is completely absent. The reception structure may include a footrest that is movable relative to the lower part. An example of this stroller is described in documents US-A1 -2018/146757, US-A-3679223, W0-A1 -2014/057238, CN-A-111994162 and EP-B1 -3057846.
However, this type of childcare facility is not suitable for all children. Indeed, some children require sufficient comfort with, among other things, a headrest and a backrest.
The object of the present invention is to provide a seat structure that is adaptable to all children and compact in the folded position while being easy to use and aesthetic.
Résumé de l’invention Summary of the invention

Description détaillée de l’invention Detailed description of the invention
Figures 1-3 illustrate a child carrier for carrying a child. The transport device is of the foldable, compact and lightweight stroller type. The stroller 1 can occupy an unfolded position in which a child can be transported and a folded position in which it has the form of a “suitcase or cabin luggage on wheels” for its own storage or transport. In general, a cabin suitcase on wheels has dimensions of the order of 55x35x20 cm to facilitate its storage in the cabin of an aircraft, here an airplane.
The stroller 1 comprises a convertible reception structure 2 intended to receive the child to be transported and a frame 3 on which is mounted on the reception structure 2. The reception structure 2 is configured to occupy a deployed position and a bent position. In the deployed position, the reception structure 2 is configured for the installation of the child. In the folded position, the receiving structure 2 has a generally parallelepipedic shape similar to a closed aircraft suitcase called "cabin luggage", closed. In Figure 1, the stroller 1 is unfolded and the reception structure 2 is located in the deployed position. In Figures 2 and 3, the stroller 1 is folded and the reception structure is in the folded position.
In the present invention, we mean by the expression "convertible reception structure" the fact that the reception structure can be used either as a means of receiving and transporting a seated or lying child, or as a closed suitcase having the dimensions compact size of a cabin suitcase so that it can be transported on its own and stored easily.
The frame 3 carries at least one front wheel 4 and a rear wheel 5 intended to roll on the ground S. Advantageously, the frame 3 comprises two front wheels and two rear wheels in order to better support the frame and the stroller 1 . The latter comprises a link mechanism 6 arranged between the frame 3 and the host structure 2 to allow passage from the folded position to the unfolded position or vice versa. The link mechanism 6 is configured so as to allow the sliding of the frame 3 relative to the host structure 2 in a longitudinal direction. A thrust member 7 makes it possible to maneuver and push the stroller 1 when the latter is in the unfolded position but also, for example, to pull the stroller with the wheels rolling on the ground in a "trolley" fashion when the latter is in the folded position. .
Referring to Figure 4, the receiving structure 2 extends globally in the longitudinal direction L. The receiving structure 2 comprises various shells which are referred to below as headrest shell 8, backrest shell 9, and seat shell 10. These shells 8, 9, 10 are rigid or semi-rigid. In particular, these are made of a polymer material. An example of polymer material is expanded polypropylene (PP-E) or expanded polystyrene (EPS). Such polymer materials bring density and lightness to the hulls while providing rigidity. They can be made by molding. Each headrest, backrest and seat shell comprises an external surface 8a, 9a, 10a (oriented towards the external environment of the stroller) and an internal surface 8b (opposite to the external surface).
La première direction transversale T 1 est perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale L. Advantageously, but not limitatively, each internal surface 8b is intended to receive a pad 11 for the child's comfort. The trim 11 can be formed in one piece to cover all the headrest, backrest and seat shells. Alternatively, the lining 11 is formed of several different parts to respectively cover a shell. The shells 8, 9, 10 are separate from each other and are arranged adjacently. They are juxtaposed one after the other in the present example. In particular, the seat shell 10 and the headrest shell 8 are respectively movable relative to the backrest shell 9. Advantageously, the headrest shell 8 is connected to the backrest shell 9 via a pivot connection . The back shell 9 is elongated and extends along the longitudinal direction L between a first end 12a and a second end 12b. The back shell 9 also has a width along a first transverse direction T1. The first transverse direction T 1 is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L.
De la sorte, la portion creuse tourne autour de la tige suivant l’axe de rotation I. In Figure 5, the back shell 9 comprises at its first end 12a an axis I which extends in the first transverse direction T1. The back shell 9 comprises at its first end 12a a rod 13 which extends in the first transverse direction T1. The rod comprises two free ends which are opposite in the first transverse direction T 1 . The ends of the rod 13 are fixed to projections of the back shell 21 . The rod defines the axis of rotation I. The headrest shell 8 comprises an end 14 which is equipped with a cylindrical hollow portion 15 intended to be traversed by the rod 13. In this way, the hollow portion rotates around the rod along the axis of rotation I.
Advantageously, but not limitatively, the hollow cylindrical portion 15 is integral with the headrest shell. Alternatively, the back shell 9 comprises two studs which are arranged at the level of the first end 12a and which are spaced from each other in the first transverse direction T1. The nipples are in this case facing each other and are intended to be housed in holes arranged in the projections. According to an alternative, the end 14 comprises two lugs spaced from each other and each traversed by the rod 13 (or the axis I) or by a stud. Of course, the headrest shell 8 can include the pin I or the studs and the backrest shell 9 can include the hollow cylindrical portion or the lugs to form the pivot connection.
As we can see in Figure 5, the headrest shell 8 has a curved or curvilinear shape. The shell is made in one piece (made from the material). Similarly, the seat shell 10 has a curved or curvilinear shape. This is also made in one piece. In particular, the headrest shell 8 comprises different parts such as a first main (main) portion and a second portion which form a substantially L-shaped longitudinal section. The second portion is connected to the backrest shell 9 via the pivot link. The headrest shell 8 further comprises a third portion allowing the first main portion to be extended and which can be movable relative to the first portion along a pivot axis substantially parallel to the first transverse direction.
In Figures 1, 6 and 7, the host structure 2 also includes a support shell 18 forming the main body of the host structure 2. The support shell 18 is also rigid. This is made of a polymer material or a composite material. Preferably, the material of the support shell 18 is a composite material which comprises a polymer matrix and a fibrous reinforcement densified by the polymer matrix. The polymer matrix is for example a polyamide 12 (PA 12). The fibrous reinforcement comprises for example long carbon fibers. The seat shell 10 and the back shell 9 are pivotally mounted (in a pivot connection) on the support shell 18. For this purpose, the support shell 18 extends globally in the longitudinal direction L. support shell 18 has a general U-shape. This is equipped with a first lateral flange 19 and a second lateral flange 20. These first and second lateral flanges 19, 20 each extend in the longitudinal direction L between a first end 21a and a second end 21b. The flanges 19, 20 are parallel. The first and second flanges 19, 20 are opposite in the first transverse direction T1. The first and second flanges 19, 20 also extend along a second transverse direction T2 between an upstream side 22a and a downstream side 22b. The second transverse direction T2 is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L and also to the first transverse direction T 1 .
Chaque premier et deuxième flasque 19, 20 comprend une plaque 24 et un capot 25 monté sur la plaqueAccording to an advantageous characteristic, but not limitingly, the first and second flanges 19, 20 are connected by a frame 23 which extends along the first transverse direction T 1 . The reinforcement 23 is intended to provide rigidity to the support shell 18. The first flange 19, the second flange 20 and the reinforcement 23 are formed separately and then are assembled together. Alternatively, the flanges 19, 20 and the armature 23 are formed in one piece (or are integral). The armature 23 is arranged at the level of the second ends 21b of the first and second flanges 19, 20. Referring to Figures 6 and 7, each first and second flange 19, 20 comprises an outer surface 20a (turned towards the external environment of the stroller) and an inner surface 19b (turned towards the inside of the support shell 18) . Each first and second flange 19, 20 comprises a plate 24 and a cover 25 mounted on the plate
24 by forming at least in part an internal cavity 26. For this purpose, the plate 24 is generally planar. Cover 25 has a substantially C-shaped cross-section. Each plate 24 carries internal surface 19b and each cover 25 carries at least part of external surface 20a. In the present example, the cover 25 has an opening 25a which passes through its wall on either side in the transverse direction T 1 . The opening 25a also has an elongated shape in the longitudinal direction L. Furthermore, the opening 25a is delimited by a curvilinear border 25b.
As shown in Figure 6, the cover 25 includes a notch 27 at one of its ends. When the cover 25 is mounted on the plate 24, the notch 27 delimits an opening emerging inside the internal cavity 26. This internal cavity 26 is intended to receive at least partly the thrust member 7. The cavity internal 26 is closed and is only accessible at the level of the notch. The flanges, and in particular the covers, make it possible to at least partly hide the organs of the link mechanism 6. This gives an aesthetic appearance to the reception structure and to the pushchair 1 .
Suivant le mode de réalisation illustré sur la figure 7, chaque premier et deuxième flasque 19, 20 comprend un profilé longitudinal 28 qui est logé au moins en partie entre le capotAccording to the embodiment illustrated in Figure 7, each first and second flange 19, 20 comprises a longitudinal profile 28 which is housed at least in part between the cover
Each longitudinal profile 28 is arranged at least partly in the cavity 26. Each longitudinal profile 28 is also configured so as to form means for guiding guide pads of the link mechanism 6. In particular, each profile 28 extends along the longitudinal direction L between a first end and a second end. The length of each longitudinal section 28 is substantially identical to that of the plate and of the cover. Each section 28 also comprises a central portion 29 forming a cavity 290. This central portion 29 comprises walls having a cross section of substantially rectangular shape. The central portion 29 comprises an outer wall 29a which is visible through the opening 25a of the cover 25. In this way, the outer surface of this outer wall 29a also forms part of the outer surface 19a of each first and second flange 19 , 20.
In the present example and advantageously, each profile 28 also comprises a first wing 28a and a second wing 28b which extend on both sides. other side of the central portion 29 along the second transverse direction T2. Advantageously, the first wing 28a extends the outer wall 29a of the central portion 29. According to another advantageous characteristic, the longitudinal section 28 is made of a metallic material.
The shells 8, 9, 10, 18 of the assembled reception structure 2 (in particular in the folded position) form the faces of a "cabin bag" i.e. a front face, a rear face, a top face, a side bottom and two side faces. In particular, the external faces 20a, 19a of the first and second flanges 19, 20 form the side faces. The outer face 8a, 10a of the headrest and seat shells form the front face. The outer face 9a of the back shell 9 forms the rear surface. The outer surfaces of the second portions of the headrest and seat shells respectively form the top face and the bottom face.
Referring to Figures 4 and 6, the first flange 19 and the second flange 20 each comprise a first pivot shaft 30 which extends from their internal surface 19b in the first transverse direction T1. The axis of the first pivot shafts 30 form the pivot axis B of the seat shell 10 with respect to the support shell 18. The seat shell 10 comprises two first pivot orifices 31 each intended to receive a first pivot shaft 30. Advantageously, each pivot orifice 31 is arranged towards a proximal end 32 of the seat shell 10 and on a lateral wing 33 of the seat shell 10. The lateral wings 33 extend transversely by relative to a main portion of the seat shell 10 and are opposite in the first transverse direction T 1 .
According to an advantageous, but non-limiting feature, the host structure 2 comprises centering means 34 in position of the seat shell 10 relative to the support shell 18. The centering means 34 comprise a prominence 35 which is extends along the first transverse direction T1 from the inner surface 19b of each first and second flanges 19, 20 and towards the inside of the support shell 18. Each prominence 35 has a circular section. The first pivot shafts 30 are each mounted centrally on each prominence 35. The centering means 34 also comprise receiving holes 36 intended to receive the prominences 35 and which are of complementary shape to the prominences. The reception holes 36 are provided on the seat shell 10 and in particular each on a side wing 33 thereof. The receiving holes 36 are each centered on a pivot hole 31 and are blind. This makes it possible to better center the seat shell 10 with respect to the support shell 18 and to improve stability.
The first and second flanges 19, 20 also each include a second pivot shaft 40 extending from the internal surface, in the first transverse direction T 1 . The axis of the second pivoting shafts 40 defines the pivoting axis C of the backrest shell 9 with respect to the support shell 18. The backrest shell 9 comprises second pivoting orifices 41 each intended to receive a second shaft 40. These second pivot orifices 41 are arranged on the side walls 42 of the backrest shell 9, and more particularly at the level of the second end 12b of the backrest shell 9.
The backrest shell 9 can be positioned according to different inclinations and on a determined angular range for better comfort for the child. The back shell 9 can move between a first so-called “lying down” position and a second so-called “seated” position. In the present example, when the back shell 9 is in the seated position, the latter is inclined at an angle of the order of 25° with respect to a vertical axis (in the plane of FIG. 4 and which is perpendicular to a horizontal axis in the plane of this same figure). In this configuration, the direction of the back shell 9 is substantially parallel to the main longitudinal direction of the first and second side flanges 19, 20. When the back shell 9 is in the second position, it is inclined along an angle of the order of 75° with respect to the vertical axis. The back shell 9 occupies several intermediate positions between the first and the second position. Advantageously, the predetermined range of inclination of the back shell 9 is between 15° and 90° with respect to a vertical axis.
Advantageously, but not limitatively, the reception structure 2 comprises means 50 for adjusting the position of the different angular positions of the backrest shell 9. In particular, as can be seen in FIG. 5, the adjustment means 50 come in the form of a dog. The adjustment means 50 comprise a cylindrical sleeve 51, hollow, which extends from the internal surface of the first and second flanges. Cylindrical sleeve 51 includes a plurality of notches 52 which extend radially from the inner cylindrical surface of sleeve 51 . These notches 52 are arranged regularly on at least one angular sector of the cylindrical surface, forming grooves between the notches. The adjustment means 50 comprise a connecting element 53 which is mounted on the back shell 9 and which has a circular wall delimiting a housing. Means of adjustment 50 include a toothed pinion which is installed in the housing. The teeth of the toothed pinion are intended to engage in each corresponding groove of the cylindrical sleeve 51 . The connecting element 53 is centered with the axis of a second pivot hole 41 of one of the second shafts. Likewise, the cylindrical sleeve 51 is centered with the second pivot shaft corresponding to the receiving orifice.
In Figure 8, the host structure 2 includes a locking system in position 54 to lock the back shell 9 in one of the different angular positions. The position locking system includes a handle 54a which is mounted on the back shell 9 and cables (not shown) which connect the handle 54a and the pivot shaft 40.
As we explained above, the reception structure 2 is configured so as to occupy a deployed position and a folded position. In the deployed position, the seat 10 and headrest 8 shells are deployed relative to the back shell 9 so that the reception structure 2 forms a volume for receiving the child. In other words, the headrest shell 8 and the seat shell 10 have pivoted towards the outside of the support shell 18 and to extend transversely to the backrest shell 9. The external surfaces of the seat shell headrest and the seat shell extend in planes which are each transverse to the plane in which the outer surface of the backrest shell is defined.
In the folded position, the seat and headrest shells 10, 8 are substantially pressed against the backrest shell 9 so that the reception structure 2 forms a closed suitcase. In particular, the internal surfaces 8b of the seat and headrest shells face the internal surface of the backrest shell 9. The planes of the external surfaces 8a, 10a of the seat and headrest shells are substantially parallel to the plane of the outer surface of the back shell. The planes are parallel to the longitudinal direction L in the bent position. The trim 11 (for the headrest, backrest and seat shell) is arranged inside the shells. Advantageously, the outer surface 8a of the headrest shell 8 has surface continuity with the outer surface 10a of the seat shell 10 in the folded position. The outer surfaces 8a, 10a are flush. In an embodiment not illustrated, the headrest shell 8 also comprises two side wings which extend transversely from the sides of the main portion. These side wings are opposite in the first transverse direction T 1 . Portions of these side wings are arranged inside (or between) the first flange and the second flange of the support structure 18 in the folded position. The side wings 33 of the seat shell 10 are also inside (or between) the first and second flanges 19, 20.
Referring to Figures 2 and 3, the host structure 2 also includes a mechanism 70 for locking and unlocking the headrest and seat shells relative to each other. The mechanism 70 comprises an operating member 71 movable relative to the headrest shell 8 between at least one unlocked position allowing the opening of the headrest shell and at least one locking position allowing the shell to be closed. headrest 8. The operating member 71 comprises a panel 72 which is pivotally mounted on the seat shell 10 along a pivot axis extending in the first transverse direction T1. Mechanism 70 comprises two jaws (not shown) which are carried by panel 72 and which are movable relative to panel 72 along an axis substantially perpendicular to the plane of the panel. The jaws each include one end and these ends are connected via a spring. The panel 72 also includes two holes each receiving a stud, the two studs being provided in a housing formed in the seat shell 10. The holes are mounted opposite the spring.
Advantageously, the housing is also configured to receive part of the mechanism 70 and is covered or closed by the panel 72. To pass from the locked position to the unlocked position, the user actuates the maneuvering member 71 (the panel 72) which, by pivoting outwards, compresses the spring which in turn causes the jaws to pivot. This action releases the nipples that are received in the holes. Of course, the mechanism 70 can be mounted on the headrest shell.
According to another embodiment, the maneuvering member 71 comprises a push button which is movably mounted on the seat cover 10. The seat shell 10 comprises a reinforcement oriented towards the inner surface thereof. The recess defines a curved reception surface and a bottom with a surface defined in a plane perpendicular to the plane of the outer surface 10a of the seat shell 10. The reception surface comprises an orifice which passes through the bottom from and the other in the longitudinal direction. The push button is housed in this orifice and is movable in translation in a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction when the host structure 2 is in the folded position. The head rest shell 8 comprises a lug which extends transversely from the inner surface 8b and which is mounted so as to pivot around an axis parallel to the first transverse direction T 1 . To pass from the locked position to the unlocked position, the user activates the push button by pushing it in which causes the lug of the headrest shell 10 to pivot. The shells are released and unlocked.
Advantageously and as shown in Figure 5, the host structure 2 comprises means 80 for automatic return to the deployed position of the seat shell 10 and the headrest shell 8. The return means 80 comprise springs (return springs for example) which are respectively mounted at the level of the pivot axes of the seat and headrest shells. The reception structure 2 also includes a mechanism (not shown) for slowing down the rotation of the seat shell or of the headrest shell relative to the backrest shell. In particular, this slowing mechanism is intended to counter the effect of the spring. Advantageously, but not limitatively, the slowing mechanism comprises a gear immersed in an oil which is contained in a casing which houses the spring so as to slow down the movement of the spring.
Referring to Figures 1, 3 and 6, the thrust member 7 comprises a first upright 90a and a second upright 90b longitudinal. These amounts 90a, 90b are parallel. The posts each also include a proximal end 92a and a distal end (not shown). Pusher 7 includes a handle 91 which is pivotally attached to each proximal end 92a of the uprights. The handle 91 can pivot around a pivot axis perpendicular to the elongation axis of the uprights. Each first and second upright slides in the internal cavity 26 of the flanges 19, 20, and in particular in the cavity 290 of the profile, between a storage position and a functional position. The distal end of the uprights is always housed inside the flanges. In the storage position, the handle 91 is flush with the second end 19b of the flanges while in the functional position, the handle 91 is at a distance from the second end 19b of the flanges.
Figures 9 to 11 show the passage of the host structure 2 from the folded position to the deployed position. In the folded position, the host structure 2 has the shape of a closed suitcase where the trim 11 is protected from the external environment by the shells. When a user wishes to deploy the reception structure 2 to install a child, the user activates the locking and unlocking mechanism 70 of the shells. Automatically, the return springs cause the rotation of the headrest shell and the seat shell towards the deployed position. In the deployed position, the reception structure forms a volume for receiving the child with the headrest shell which extends substantially in the longitudinal direction and the seat shell which extends in a position transverse to the longitudinal direction.
Prior to the opening of the reception structure 2, the user will unfold the stroller to put it in a service situation (unfolded position) and so as to stabilize the stroller on the chassis. The chassis 3 comprises front legs 116 and rear legs 117 (cf. FIG. 1) which respectively carry the front wheels 4 and the rear wheels 5. The front and rear legs are at a distance from each other and form a V whose vertex carries the hub. To unfold the stroller, the user will turn the handle 91 which unlocks the sliding of the uprights. These can slide from the storage position to the functional position. In the functional position, unlocking means make it possible to unlock the link mechanism 6 so as to allow rotation of the rear legs to open the frame. The unlocking means are also configured to allow the sliding of the frame 3 relative to the host structure 2 and in particular the first and second flanges 19, 20. The unlocking means can comprise a nose mounted on the distal end of one of the uprights 90a, 90b which activates a stop arranged on the plate 24 of the flanges. The stop pivots so as to release the axes of rotation of the guide pads. The user can pull the reception structure 2 so that it passes from the folded position to the deployed position.
