La présente invention concerne le système de sécurité utilisé dans les aéroports pour distribuer les bagages au passager propriétaire de ceux-ci et et son procédé de fonctionnement. La présente invention concerne en particulier le composant lisible d'un passager (10) donné au passager, comprenant des informations spécifiques au passager du passager; le composant lisible de bagages (20), placé sur les bagages du passager; le lecteur de composant (30) lisant et recevant des informations selon lesquelles les bagages s'approchent du transporteur en vue d'être livrés par lecture du composant lisible de bagages (20) sur les bagages du passager, et envoyant celles-ci de sorte à informer le passager; le système de sécurité et le procédé d'application comprenant le système de commande et d'avertissement de correspondance (40) qui lit et met en correspondance le composant lisible du passager (10) et un composant lisible de bagages (20), garantissant que le passager reçoit les bons bagages en toute sécurité, et effectuant une commande en temps réel; et stérilisant également les bagages au moyen de lampes UV (43).
