Lines in each drawing indicate magnetic flux. Similarly, the arrow B indicates the driving force acting on the movable member 120 .
- 38(a) is a state in which the movable member 120 is located in the first position. No current flows through the wire 113 (de-energized state). Of the two magnets 114a and 114b of the fixed member 110, a large amount of magnetic flux of the magnet 114a (first magnet 114a) positioned on the first position side flows to the movable member 120 toward the first position side. A forward thrust is generated, and the movable member 120 is held in the first position.
- 38(b) is a state in which the movable member 120 is located in the first position.
- the electric wire 113 is energized in the second energization direction.
- the energization weakens the magnetic flux flowing through the movable member 120 by the first magnet 114a.
- a propulsive force directed toward the second position is generated by the magnetic force of the magnet 114b (the second magnet 114b) located on the side of the second position, and the movable member 120 moves from the first position to the second position.
- 38(c) is a transient state in which the movable member 120 is displaced.
- Magnetic flux by energization and magnetic flux of the first magnet 114a pass through the core 112 of the fixed member 110 and flow to the movable member 120, and the magnetic flux density of the movable member 120 increases. Therefore, the increase in the gap magnetic flux for imparting the driving force is suppressed, and the driving force gradually decreases. Thereby, the movable member 120 gently displaces from the first position toward the second position while weakening the acceleration.
- 38(d) is a state in which the movable member 120 has reached the second position. As the magnetic flux density of the movable member 120 further increases, the driving force of the movable member 120 decreases and the movable member 120 is maintained in the second position.
- the case where the movable member 120 is displaced from the second position to the first position is the same as the case where the movable member 120 is displaced from the first position to the second position, except that the displacement direction is opposite. Therefore, the description thereof is omitted.
- a two-dot chain line L4 shown in Fig. 37 indicates the driving force when the movable member has a magnet (mover side magnet) as a comparison object.
- the driving force is maximized near the place of displacement, and the size is also large. Therefore, the force or speed at which the movable member is displaced is too strong, and a loud impact sound is generated.
- the driving force decreases in the second half of the displacement and decreases as it approaches the target position, so that the force of the displacement of the movable member or You can speed up moderately.
- the actuator 100 of this embodiment and the comparison target were compared under the same conditions, a decrease in thrust of about 50% was recognized at most. Therefore, the actuator 100 of this embodiment can effectively suppress the impact sound.
- the movable member 120 has a mover-side magnet as in the comparison object, there is a possibility that the mover-side magnet is separated when the movable member 120 rotates at a high speed.
- the actuator 100 of this embodiment since there is no magnet on the mover side, there is no such concern. Therefore, the movable member 120 can rotate at high speed, which is advantageous for dehydration, for example.
- the actuator 100 of this embodiment is also advantageous in terms of ease of manufacture. That is, a normal magnet is magnetized after assembling a hard magnetic material to an object, rather than assembling the magnet itself to the object. When the magnet itself is assembled to the counterpart, manufacturing becomes difficult due to the influence of magnetism, for example, foreign matter such as iron powder adheres to the magnet or its surroundings in the subsequent manufacturing process.
- the actuator 100 of this embodiment Although it is difficult to magnetize the comparative mover-side magnet after assembling the hard magnetic material to the movable member, in the actuator 100 of this embodiment, by assembling the hard magnetic material to the stationary member 110 and then magnetizing the magnets 114a and 114b ) is relatively easy to form. Therefore, the actuator 100 of this embodiment has the advantage of being easy to manufacture. In the actuator 100 of this embodiment, since the core (iron core) with high processing accuracy becomes the main magnetic path for the air gap, that is, the gap G, the unevenness of magnetic flux due to the unevenness of magnetization in the core portion is reduced. This can be alleviated, and iron loss due to uneven magnetization can also be suppressed.
- the actuator 100 of this embodiment magnetic flux does not flow in a direction that demagnetizes the magnets 114a and 114b (see magnetic flux distribution in Fig. 3). Therefore, low-cost magnets can be used for these magnets 114a and 114b because the demagnetization resistance may be low.
- the movable member 120 can be formed only with a thin iron plate, the movable member 120 can be reduced in weight. Energy required to displace the movable member 120 is reduced and noise can be reduced.
- the embodiment of the actuator 100 described above may be applied to the driving unit 10 of the washing machine 1 described above.
- the actuator 100 may be used for the clutch 60 of the aforementioned drive unit 10 .
- the stator 68 (fixed member 110) and the mover 67 (movable member 120) of the clutch 60 (actuator 100) have a circular shape concentric, and are formed in an annular shape.
- the wire group forms the clutch coil 68a.
- the structure of the washing machine 1 is the same as that described in FIGS. 1 to 8 .
- an example in which the actuator 100 is applied to the clutch 60 of the drive unit 10 will be described.
- the clutch 60 is disposed around the reducer 50. Clutch 60 is housed in rotor case 46 . 39, 40, and 41 are partially cut-away perspective views of the reducer 50 and the clutch 60 according to an embodiment.
- the clutch 60 may include a movable part 65, fixed claws 62r and 62s on the rotor and stator sides, and a driving part (clutch driver) 66.
- the drive unit 66 has a mover 67 and a stator 68. Then, these movers 67 and stators 68 are constructed using the actuator 100 described above.
- the movable part 65 is a cylindrical member having a larger diameter than the internal gear 53.
- a plurality of outer slide guides 65a made of linear protrusions extending in the direction of the rotation axis are formed over the entire circumference at regular intervals, as shown only in part in FIG. 39 .
- These outer slide guides 65a mesh with a plurality of inner slide guides 53b formed on the outer circumferential surface of the internal gear 53.
- the movable part 65 is disposed around the internal gear 53 in a state where each of its outer slide guides 65a is engaged with each of the inner slide guides 53b of the internal gear 53. Thereby, the movable part 65 is slidable in the direction of the rotational axis.
- Rotor side and stator side movable claws 65r and 65s are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the movable part 65 .
- the rotor side and stator side movable claws 65r and 65s include a plurality of projections (movable side projections) protruding in the direction of the rotation axis, and are formed on the outer circumferential surface of the movable part 65 at regular intervals over the entire circumference.
- the rotor-side movable claw 65r is disposed at the lower end of the movable portion 65, and each projection protrudes downward.
- the stator-side movable claw 65s is disposed at the upper end of the movable portion 65, and each projection protrudes upward.
- a mover accommodating portion 65b for accommodating the mover 67 is formed between the rotor side and stator side movable claws 65r and 65s on the outer peripheral surface of the movable portion 65 .
- the rotor side fixing claw 61r is attached to the annular rotor base portion 61a mounted on the rotor case 46.
- the rotor side fixing claws 61r include a plurality of protrusions (fixing side protrusions) projecting in the direction of the rotational axis at regular intervals over the entire circumference of the annular rotor base portion 61a. These projections protrude upward.
- these protrusions may be integrally formed with other components constituting the rotor 45 when integrally molding the rotor 45, and may be integrally formed with the rotor case 46. .
- the stator-side fixing claw 62s is attached to an annular stator-side base portion 62a attached to the stator 41.
- the stator-side fixing claw 62s may include a plurality of protrusions (fixed-side protrusions) protruding in the rotational axis direction at regular intervals over the entire circumference of the annular stator-side base portion 62a. These projections protrude downward. Also, these protrusions may be integrally formed with the insulator.
- the rotor-side fixing claws 61r and the stator-side fixing claws 62s are arranged to face each other at a distance from each other in the rotation axis direction.
- the rotor side fixed claws 61r are configured to engage with the rotor side movable claws 65r.
- the stator-side fixed claws 62s are configured to engage with the stator-side movable claws 65s.
- the distance between the rotor-side fixing claw 61r and the stator-side fixing claw 62s is set larger than the distance between the rotor-side movable claw 65r and the stator-side movable claw 65s. Therefore, when the rotor-side fixed claws 61r engage and connect with the rotor-side movable claws 65r, the stator-side fixed claws 62s do not engage with the stator-side movable claws 65s. When the stator-side fixing claws 62s engage and connect with the stator-side movable claws 65s, the rotor-side fixing claws 61r do not engage with the rotor-side movable claws 65r.
- the mover 67 of the driving unit 66 includes a movable member 120 .
- the movable member 120 is installed in the mover accommodating portion 65b.
- the stator 68 of the drive unit 66 includes a fixing member 110 . That is, the stator 68 includes a clutch coil 68a, an inner core 112, an outer core 111, and two magnets 114a and 114b.
- the outer core 111 is formed by a pair of upper and lower annular holder supports 68c.
- the holder support 68c is fixed to the stator 41.
- Both the inner core 112 and the two magnets 114a and 114b are formed in an annular shape.
- the movable member 120 faces the stationary member 110 with a slight gap (G) in the radial direction in a state located inside the stationary member 110.
- 42 is a diagram for explaining one embodiment of switching of clutches.
- Energization to the clutch coil 68a is controlled by the controller 15.
- the movable member 120 is linearly displaced with respect to the stationary member 110 when the controller 15 supplies switching currents, that is, currents in opposite directions to the clutch coil 68a.
- the controller 15 executes a process for sliding the movable part 65 in one of the rotation axis directions (switching process). 42, the first mode in which the stator-side movable claws 65s engage the stator-side fixed claws 62s, and the rotor-side movable claws 65r engage the rotor-side fixed claws 61r. Physing is switched to the second mode.
- the internal gear 53 is supported by the stator 41 via the movable part 65.
- the rotation of the rotor 45 and the sun gear 52 is transmitted to the shaft 30 and the carrier 51 through the reducer 50 .
- the drive unit 10 outputs a high-torque rotational force at low rotation.
- the internal gear 53 is supported by the rotor 45 through the movable part 65.
- the rotation of the rotor 45 and the sun gear 52 is transmitted to the shaft 30 and the carrier 51 without passing through the reducer 50 . That is, since the rotor 45, the sun gear 52, and the internal gear 53 rotate integrally, each satellite gear 54 does not revolve. Thereby, the shaft 30 and the carrier 51 also rotate integrally with them.
- the drive unit 10 outputs low-torque rotational force at high rotation.
- the motor 40, the reducer 50 and the clutch 60 are arranged side by side in a line in a direction substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis J.
- the clutch 60 is built in efficiently and they are integrally constituted.
- by switching the clutch 60 it is possible to output high-torque rotational force at low rotation and high-rotation rotational force at low torque but high rotation through one shaft 30.
- the driving unit 10 can output rotational force suitable for a washing machine with a compact size.
- the drive unit 10 is suitable for a washing machine.
- step S1 laundry is initially put into the rotary tub 4 (step S1). Detergent and the like are also put into the drug inlet 5c. Then, an instruction to start washing is input to the control unit 15 by operating the operation unit 2c (Yes in step S2). Thereby, the controller 15 automatically starts a series of washing processes including washing, rinsing, and spin-drying.
- the controller 15 Prior to the washing process, the controller 15 measures the weight of laundry to set the water supply amount (step S3). The control unit 15 sets an appropriate amount of water supply based on the measured laundry weight (step S4). After setting the water supply amount, the controller 15 starts the washing process (step S5). When the washing process starts, the controller 15 controls the water supply valve 5b to supply a predetermined amount of water to the fixed tub 3. At that time, the detergent accommodated in the drug input unit 5c is put into the fixing tank 3 together with the water supplied.
- control unit 15 drives the drive unit 10 to start rotation of the rotary tub 4 .
- control unit 15 determines whether it is a washing or rinsing process as shown in FIG. 18 prior to rotation of the rotating tub 4 (step S10). As a result, if it is a washing or rinsing process, the controller 15 controls the clutch 60 to switch to the first mode (step S11). If it is not a washing or rinsing process, that is, a spin-drying process, the controller 15 controls the clutch 60 to switch to the second mode (step S12).
- the controller 15 switches the clutch 60 to the first mode. Thereby, the rotational force of high torque is output by the drive unit 10 at low speed. Therefore, the relatively heavy rotary tub 4 can be efficiently rotated at a low speed.
- step S6 the controller 15 starts a rinsing process.
- the washing water accumulated in the fixed tub 3 is drained by driving the drain pump 6 .
- the control unit 15 performs water supply and agitation processing like a washing process.
- the drive unit 10 is driven while the clutch 60 is maintained in the first mode.
- step S7 the controller 15 executes a dehydration process.
- the rotating tub 4 is driven to rotate at high speed for a predetermined time. Accordingly, the control unit 15 switches the clutch 60 to the second mode prior to the spin-drying process. In the second mode, rotational force of low torque can be output at high rotation. Therefore, the relatively lightweight rotary tub 4 can be efficiently rotated at high speed.
- the controller 15 executes a switching process to stop the supply of switching current to the clutch 60 (braking process) immediately before the movable section 65 is connected to the fixed claws 61r and 62s.
- a graph G1 shows a change in current flowing through the clutch 60 .
- Graph G2 shows the speed of the movable part 65.
- Graph G3 shows the driving force of the movable part 65.
- MP is a target position at which the fixed claws 61r, 62s and the movable claws 65r, 65s engage (corresponding to the first position and the second position).
- the control part 15 turns off the energization to the clutch coil 68a. Even when the current to the clutch coil 68a is turned off, the movable part 65 is displaced by inertia and the magnetic force of the magnet. When the power supply to the clutch coil 68a is turned off, the speed of the movable part 65 is suppressed by a sharp decrease in propulsive force and braking by regenerative current. Thereby, an impact sound can be suppressed. Since the supply of the switching current to the clutch 60 is simply stopped, it can be easily controlled. The impact sound can be effectively suppressed only by adjusting the stopping timing.
- the switching process fails, such as that the clutch 60 is not switched or is not in an appropriate position even if it is switched, and the motor 40 is driven in that state, problems such as generation of abnormal noise or damage to the clutch 60 may occur. . Taking this into account, the success or failure of each switching process can be determined.
- Successful switching of the clutch 60 can be determined by using the structure of the drive unit 66, specifically the actuator 100. Specifically, the controller 15 compares the current flowing through the clutch coil 68a with a predetermined judgment value immediately after the switching process is executed. By doing this, the controller 15 can execute a process for determining whether switching of the clutch 60 is successful (a switching determination process).
- the clutch coil 68a is energized based on the predetermined voltage command value for judgment immediately before the switching process is executed, and thus the current flowing through the clutch coil 68a can be set as the judgment value.
- the judgment value may be influenced by external factors such as the environmental temperature and the usage condition of the clutch 60 .
- the switching judgment processing can be performed with high precision. In this way, the switching judgment processing may be executed by comparing the judgment value with the current flowing through the clutch coil 68a based on the voltage command value for judgment immediately after the switching processing is executed.
- the control unit 15 controls the clutch coil 68a based on a predetermined voltage command value (voltage command value that allows a current of a magnitude not to affect the state of the clutch 60 to flow) immediately prior to the start of the switching process. ) to the current.
- a predetermined voltage command value voltage command value that allows a current of a magnitude not to affect the state of the clutch 60 to flow
- the current value Ia flowing through the clutch coil 68a is obtained, and the current value Ia is set as a judgment value (step S20).
- a predetermined voltage is applied for a short period of several milliseconds to which the clutch 60 cannot respond.
- the voltage may be applied by PWM modulated with a carrier frequency of several tens of kHz using an inverter, or the voltage may be applied by one pulse.
- control unit 15 executes switching processing (step S21). As a result, the movable part 65 is displaced, and the clutch 60 is switched to either the first mode or the second mode.
- the control unit 15 energizes the clutch coil 68a based on the same voltage command value for judgment as before to determine whether switching of the clutch 60 has been properly performed, and obtains a current value Ib to be compared ( Step S22). Then, the controller 15 compares whether the current value Ib is larger than the judgment value Ia (step S23).
- the magnetic field generated by the current flowing through the clutch coil 68a forms a magnetic path mainly through the iron core of the movable part and the fixed part having low magnetic permeability and low magnetic resistance.
- the magnetic flux density when current flows in the same direction is different depending on the position of the clutch mover.
- Soft magnetic materials used for iron cores have properties in which magnetic permeability decreases and magnetic resistance increases when magnetic flux density increases. If this characteristic is used, the magnetic resistance at the time of current application changes depending on the position of the clutch 60, so the impedance of the clutch coil 68a changes and the transient response of the current when voltage is applied changes.
- step S24 when the current value Ib is greater than the judgment value Ia, switching of the clutch 60 is determined to be successful (step S24).
- step S25 switching of the clutch 60 is judged to be a failure and retry is made (step S25).
- the current value Ib is larger than the judgment value Ia is judged successful, if the direction in which the current flows at the time of switching is reversed, the magnitude relationship between the current value Ib and the judgment value Ia is Opposite.
- ) of the current values (Ia, Ib) are used for determination, it is possible to determine only the magnitude relationship of the values regardless of the direction in which the current flows.
- the first decision value (Ia) is multiplied by a coefficient, and if the later decision value (Ib) does not exceed this value, it is judged as success. You may as well not do it.
- the success or failure of the switching of the clutch 60 can be appropriately determined each time, so that troubles based on poor switching of the clutch 60 can be suppressed.

- the movable member may be integrally formed using a plate-shaped soft magnetic material, and flange portions protruding in opposite directions in the axial direction may be installed at each end portion of the salient pole core.
- control unit may execute a braking process of stopping supply of switching current to the clutch immediately before reaching the end state.
- the controller determines whether the movable part is connected to either the rotor-side fixed part or the stator-side fixed part by comparing the current flowing through the clutch coil with a predetermined judgment value immediately after the switching process is executed. It is possible to execute switching judgment processing to determine whether or not.
