본 발명은, 우수한 투명성과 압전 특성을 동시에 확보하는 투명성 압전체 및 그 제조방법을 제공한다. 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체는, Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 포함한다. 여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이다.

Description

우수한 투과 특성과 압전 특성을 가지는 투명성 압전체, 그 제조방법, 및 이를 포함하는 터치형 디스플레이 장치 및 진동-전기 변환 장치
본 발명의 기술적 사상은 압전체에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 우수한 투과 특성과 압전 특성을 동시에 확보하는 투명성 압전체, 그 제조방법, 및 이를 포함하는 터치형 디스플레이 장치 및 진동-전기 변환 장치에 관한 것이다.
압전체는 응력이 가해지면 전류가 흐르거나 또는 전류가 인가되면 변형이 일어나는 특성을 가진다. 터치 패드와 같은 햅틱 기능을 가지는 전자 장치의 사용이 증가되면서, 투과 특성을 가지는 압전체의 사용 또한 증가되고 있다. 그러나, 상기 압전체에서 압전 특성과 투과 특성은 상충되는 특성을 가지며, 구체적으로 압전 특성이 증가되면 투과 특성이 감소되고, 투과 특성이 증가되면 압전 특성이 감소된다. 따라서, 압전 특성과 투과 특성을 동시에 확보할 수 있는 압전체에 대한 요구가 증가되고 있다.
단결정으로 구성된 투명성 압전체는 도메인 제어를 통하여 특성을 확보하며, 약 70% 수준의 높은 투과도와 2100 pC/N의 높은 압전 상수를 동시에 확보할 수 있으나, 제조 비용이 높고 제조 공법의 특성상 대량생산이 어려워 투명 압전 세라믹을 필요로하는 산업 제품에 적용하기에 한계가 있다.
다결정으로 구성된 투명성 압전체는 납(Pb)을 포함하는 연계 압전체와 납을 포함하지 않는 무연계 압전체로 구분할 수 있다. 상기 연계 투명성 압전체는 약 40% 내지 약 68% 수준의 투과도와 약 850 pC/N의 압전 상수를 가지며, 높은 투과도를 확보하는 경우에는 강유전/압전 특성이 낮거나 거의 없는 상유전 특성을 가지게 되고, 높은 강유전/압전 특성을 확보하는 경우에는 낮은 투과도를 가지게 된다. 또한, 고온 가압 소결(hot press sintering)이나 가압 2단 소결과 같이 높은 제조 비용이 요구되는 한계가 있다. 상기 무연계 압전체는 약 40%의 낮은 투과도와 약 420 pC/N의 낮은 압전 상수를 가지며, 또한 고온 가압 소결을 요구하는 한계가 있다.
현재까지 보고된 다결정 투명성 압전체는 고온 가압 소결 공정을 사용하는 것이 필수적이며, 상기 고온 가압 소결을 사용하지 않고 압전 특성과 투과 특성을 동시에 확보한 경우는 없다. 상기 고온 가압 소결을 수행하는 공정 장비는 매우 높은 가격이므로, 제조 비용이 높고, 소자 형상의 한계가 있다.
본 발명의 기술적 사상이 이루고자 하는 기술적 과제는 우수한 투과 특성과 압전 특성을 동시에 확보하는 투명성 압전체, 그 제조방법, 및 이를 포함하는 터치형 디스플레이 장치 및 진동-전기 변환 장치를 제공하는 것이다.
그러나 이러한 과제는 예시적인 것으로, 본 발명의 기술적 사상은 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다.
상기 기술적 과제를 달성하기 위한 본 발명의 기술적 사상에 따른 투명성 압전체는, Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3를 포함한다. (여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수임)
본 발명의 일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 등방성 증가 도판트(A)는 란탄(La), 유로퓸(Eu), 에르븀(Er), 또는 이들의 혼합물을 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 이방성 증가 도판트(D)는 사마륨(Sm), 디스프로슘(Dy), 바륨(Ba), 이트륨(Y), 가돌리늄(Gd), 네오디뮴(Nd), 또는 이들의 혼합물을 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 있어서, 상기 투명성 압전체에서의 상기 등방성 증가 도판트(A)와 상기 이방성 증가 도판트(D)의 비율은 1:10 내지 10:1 범위를 가질 수 있다.

본 발명의 기술적 사상에 따른 투명성 압전체는 등방성 증가 도판트와 이방성 증가 도판트를 포함함으로써, 투과 특성과 압전 특성을 동시에 확보하는 효과를 제공할 수 있다. 압전 상수 및 투과도를 동시에 고려하면, 투명성 압전체의 최적 조건은, x=0.29, y,z=0.0145 의 화합물, 즉 Pb0.971La0.0145Sm0.0145(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 을 1160℃에서 30 시간 동안 소결한 경우이다. 상기 투명성 압전체는, 400 pC/N 내지 1100 pC/N 범위의 압전 상수를 가질 수 있고, 20% 내지 70% 범위의 투과도를 가질 수 있다.
상기 투명성 압전체는, 압전 스피커, 각종 액츄에이터, 햅틱 장치, 터치형 디스플레이 장치, 진동-전기 변환 장치 등에 사용될 수 있다.
상술한 본 발명의 효과들은 예시적으로 기재되었고, 이러한 효과들에 의해 본 발명의 범위가 한정되는 것은 아니다.

이하, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 상세히 설명하기로 한다. 본 발명의 실시예들은 당해 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 더욱 완전하게 설명하기 위하여 제공되는 것이며, 하기 실시예는 여러 가지 다른 형태로 변형될 수 있으며, 본 발명의 기술적 사상의 범위가 하기 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 오히려, 이들 실시예는 본 개시를 더욱 충실하고 완전하게 하고, 당업자에게 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 완전하게 전달하기 위하여 제공되는 것이다. 본 명세서에서 동일한 부호는 시종 동일한 요소를 의미한다. 나아가, 도면에서의 다양한 요소와 영역은 개략적으로 그려진 것이다. 따라서, 본 발명의 기술적 사상은 첨부한 도면에 그려진 상대적인 크기나 간격에 의해 제한되지 않는다.
투명성 압전체에서, 투과 특성과 압전 특성은 서로 상충 관계를 갖는다. 투과 특성은 입방체(cubic)과 같은 등방성 결정 구조에서 투과도가 높고, 압전 특성은 정방체(tetragonal), 사방체(orthorhombic), 또는 능면체(rhombohedral) 등과 같은 이방성 결정 구조에서 분극 효과가 발휘되기 때문이다. 이러한 원리에 의하여 본 발명의 투명성 압전체의 모체인 (1-x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 에서도 투과 특성과 압전 특성을 동시에 확보하기 어렵다.
본 발명의 기술적 사상에 따른 투명성 압전체는 투과 특성과 압전 특성을 동시에 확보하기 위하여, 도판트의 농도를 제어하고 공정 조건을 최적화하여 형성하며, 고온 가압 소결을 사용하지 않고 형성되는 특징이 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 투명성 압전체는 등방성 증가 도판트와 이방성 증가 도판트를 적절한 비율로 동시에 도핑함으로써, 투과 특성과 압전 특성을 동시에 확보할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체는 Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 포함한다. 여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이다. 또한, 상기 x는, 예를 들어 0.28 이상 내지 0.30 이하의 수일 수 있다.
상기 등방성 증가 도판트(A)는 상기 투명성 압전체의 등방성을 증가시키고 이에 따라 투과 특성을 증가시킬 수 있는 물질로서, 예를 들어 란탄(La), 유로퓸(Eu), 에르븀(Er), 또는 이들의 혼합물을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 이방성 증가 도판트(D)는 상기 투명성 압전체의 이방성을 증가시키고 이에 따라 압전 특성을 증가시킬 수 있는 물질로서, 예를 들어 사마륨(Sm), 디스프로슘(Dy), 바륨(Ba), 이트륨(Y), 가돌리늄(Gd), 네오디뮴(Nd), 또는 이들의 혼합물을 포함할 수 있다.
상기 투명성 압전체에서의 상기 등방성 증가 도판트(A)와 상기 이방성 증가 도판트(D)의 비율은, 예를 들어 1:10 내지 10:1 범위를 가질 수 있고, 예를 들어 1:1 일 수 있다. 바람직하게는, 상기 등방성 증가 도판트(A)와 상기 이방성 증가 도판트(D)의 비율은, 기본적으로 1:1 비율을 가질 수 있고, 도판트의 종류에 따라 1:10 내지 10:1 범위에서 선택될 수 있다.
상기 투명성 압전체는, Pb0.975La0.0125Sm0.0125(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.974La0.0130Sm0.0130(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.973La0.0135Sm0.0135(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.972La0.0140Sm0.0140(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.971La0.0145Sm0.0145(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.970La0.0150Sm0.0150(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.969La0.0155Sm0.0155(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.965La0.0175Sm0.0175(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, 및 Pb0.960La0.0200Sm0.0200(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, 중 적어도 어느 하나를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 투명성 압전체는, 400 pC/N 내지 1100 pC/N 범위의 압전 상수를 가질 수 있다. 상기 투명성 압전체는, 20% 내지 70% 범위의 투과도를 가질 수 있다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체의 제조방법(S100)을 도시하는 흐름도이다.
도 1을 참조하면, 투명성 압전체의 제조방법(S100)은, PbO, MgNb2O6, TiO2, 등방성 증가 도판트, 및 이방성 증가 도판트를 혼합하여 혼합물을 형성하는 단계(S110); 상기 혼합물을 열처리하여, Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 형성하는 단계(S120); 및 상기 Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 성형 및 소결하는 단계(S130);를 포함한다.
여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수일 수 있다. 상기 x는, 예를 들어 0.28 이상 내지 0.30 이하의 수일 수 있다. 상기 x의 범위에 따라 Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 및 PbTiO3 로 구성된 (1-x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 으로 구성되는 모재 조성의 결정 구조를 조정할 수 있다.
상기 열처리하는 단계는, 예를 들어 750℃ 내지 900℃ 범위의 온도에서 1 시간 내지 6 시간 범위의 시간 동안 수행되는
상기 소결하는 단계는, 예를 들어 950℃ 내지 1200℃ 범위의 온도에서 수행될 수 있고, 예를 들어 1 시간 내지 30 시간 범위의 시간 동안 수행될 수 있다.
상기 소결은 산소 분위기에서 수행될 수 있다. 상기 산소 분위기는 0.1 SLM 내지 1.5 SLM 범위의 산소 유동으로 이루어질 수 있다.
상기 MgNb2O6 는, 예를 들어 하기의 방식으로 형성될 수 있다. 먼저, MgO와 Nb2O5 를 1:1 몰비로 평량하고 혼합한다. 상기 MgO와 상기 Nb2O5 의 혼합물을 볼밀하여 크기를 균일하게 한다. 상기 MgO와 Nb2O5 의 혼합물을 건조한다. 상기 MgO와 Nb2O5 의 혼합물을 분쇄하고, 하소하여 상기 MgNb2O6 합성물을 형성한다. 상기 MgNb2O6 합성물을 분쇄하여 분말 형상의 상기 MgNb2O6 을 형성한다.
상기 혼합물을 형성하는 단계(S110)에서, 상기 PbO, 상기 MgNb2O6, 상기 TiO2, 상기 등방성 증가 도판트, 및 상기 이방성 증가 도판트는 원하는 분율로 평량하고, 혼합하여 볼밀하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 PbO, 상기 MgNb2O6, 상기 TiO2, 상기 등방성 증가 도판트, 및 상기 이방성 증가 도판트가 혼합된 상기 혼합물은 건조 및 분쇄한 후에 상술한 열처리를 수행하여 Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 형성할 수 있다.
상기 성형 및 소결하는 단계(S130)에서, 상기 Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 에 적절한 바인더를 적절한 함량으로 혼합할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체는, 상기 Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 에서 티타늄(Ti)의 일부를 지르코늄으로(Zr) 으로 치환한 물질로서 구성될 수 있다. 이에 따라, 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체는, Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-x(Zr1-qTiq)xO3 를 포함한다. 여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 q는 0.1 이상 내지 1 미만의 수이다. 상기 Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-x(Zr1-qTiq)xO3 는 모재로서 (1-x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPb(Zr1-qTiq)O3 을 사용할 수 있다.
실험예
이하에서는 본 발명의 이해를 돕기 위한 실험예에 대해서 설명한다. 하기의 실험예는 발명의 이해를 돕기 위해 제시되는 것이며, 본 발명의 하기 실험예로 한정되는 것은 아니다.
투명성 압전체를 제조하기 위하여, 모재로서 (1-x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 을 준비하였다. 상기 (1-x)Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-xPbTiO3 은 Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 와 PbTiO3 이 화학 결합된 화합물을 의미한다. 본 실험에서는 여기에서 상기 x는 0.29로 선택하였다.
등방성 증가 도판트로서 La3+ 를 준비하였고, 이방성 증가 도판트로서 Sm3+를 준비하였다. 상기 La3+ 과 상기 Sm3+ 의 비율은 1:1 이었다. 본 발명에 따른 제조방법을 이용하여 Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 형성하였다. 여기에서 상기 x는 0.29로 선택하였다. 소결 온도는 1120℃ 내지 1200℃ 범위이었고, 소결 시간은 30 시간으로 수행하였다.
표 1은 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체의 실험예들에 대한 도판트의 총 도핑 농도에 이에 따른 화학식을 나타낸다. 표 1에서 총 도핑 농도는 상기 La3+ 과 상기 Sm3+ 의 도핑 농도의 합을 나타낸다.

표 4를 참조하면, 도판트의 총 도핑 농도와 소결 온도에 따른 투명성 압전체의 압전 상수가 나타나있다. 소결 시간은 모두 30 시간이었다. 전반적으로, 소결 온도가 높을수록 상기 투명성 압전체의 압전 상수가 크게 나타났다.소결 온도가 1200℃인 경우에는, 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 증가함에 따라 압전 상수가 증가되었다. 상기 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 2.7 mol%, 2.8 mol%, 및 2.9 mol% 에서 압전 상수가 최대로 나타났다. 즉, 상기 투명성 압전체가 Pb0.973La0.0135Sm0.0135(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.972La0.0140Sm0.0140(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, 및 Pb0.971La0.0145Sm0.0145(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 의 경우가 압전 특성이 가장 우수한 것으로 분석된다.
소결 온도가 1180℃인 경우에는, 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 증가함에 따라 압전 상수가 증가되었다. 상기 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 2.7 mol% 및 3.1 mol%에서 압전 상수가 최대로 나타났다. 즉, 상기 투명성 압전체가 Pb0.973La0.0135Sm0.0135(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 및 Pb0.969La0.0155Sm0.0155(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 의 경우가 압전 특성이 가장 우수한 것으로 분석된다.
소결 온도가 1160℃인 경우에는, 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 3.5 mol%까지 증가함에 따라 압전 상수가 증가되었으며, 3.5 mol% 이상에서는 압전 상수가 감소되었고, 특히 4.5 mol% 이상에서는 압전 상수의 급격한 감소가 나타났다. 상기 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 3.0 mol% 및 3.1 mol%에서 압전 상수가 최대로 나타났다. 즉, 상기 투명성 압전체가 Pb0.970La0.0150Sm0.0150(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 및 Pb0.969La0.0155Sm0.0155(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 의 경우가 압전 특성이 가장 우수한 것으로 분석된다.
소결 온도가 1140℃ 및 1120℃인 경우에는, 상기 투명성 압전체의 소결이 완전하지 않은 것으로 분석된다. 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 3.5 mol% 및 4.0 mol%에서 압전 특성이 나타나지만, 압전 상수가 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다.
따라서, 압전 특성을 기초하면, 도판트의 총 도핑 농도는 2.5 mol% 내지 4.0 mol% 범위인 것이 바람직하다. 상기 등방성 증가 도판트와 상기 이방성 증가 도판트의 비율이 1:1인 경우에는, 상기 등방성 증가 도판트 및 상기 이방성 증가 도판트의 각각의 도핑 농도는 1.25 mol% 내지 2.0 mol% 범위인 것이 바람직하다.
도 2는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체의 1160℃의 소결 온도 및 도판트의 총 도핑 농도에 대한 압전 상수를 나타내는 그래프이다.
도 2를 참조하면, 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 2.5 mol% 내지 6.0 mol% 범위에 대하여 1160℃의 소결 온도에서 소결된 투명성 압전체의 압전 상수들이 나타나있다. 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 3.5 mol%까지 증가함에 따라 압전 상수가 증가되었으며, 3.5 mol% 이상에서는 압전 상수가 감소되었고, 특히 4.5 mol% 이상에서는 압전 상수의 급격한 감소가 나타났다. 도 2의 결과의 평균 압전 상수 수치가 표 4에 나타나 있다. 압전 특성에 대하여는, 2회 또는 3회의 반복 실험한 결과, 재현성이 높음을 알 수 있다.
도 3 내지 도 5는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체의 파장에 따른 투과도를 총 도핑 농도에 대하여 나타내는 그래프이다.
도 3은 소결 온도가 1200℃인 경우이고, 도 4는 소결 온도가 1180℃인 경우이고, 도 5는 소결 온도가 1160℃인 경우이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 소결 온도가 1200℃인 경우에는, 400 nm 이상의 파장에서 투과도가 증가되었으며, 약 600 nm 파장 이상에서 30% 내지 50%의 최대 투과도를 나타내었다. 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 3.0 mol%에서 전체 파장에 걸쳐서 투과도가 최대로 나타났다. 즉, 상기 투명성 압전체가 Pb0.970La0.0150Sm0.0150(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 의 경우가 투과도가 가장 우수한 것으로 분석된다.
도 4를 참조하면, 소결 온도가 1180℃인 경우에는, 400 nm 이상의 파장에서 투과도가 증가되었으며, 약 600 nm 파장 이상에서 40% 내지 65%의 최대 투과도를 나타내었다. 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 2.7 mol%에서 전체 파장에 걸쳐서 투과도가 최대로 나타났고, 높은 파장에서는 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 2.8 mol%에서 투과도가 최대로 나타났다. 즉, 상기 투명성 압전체가 Pb0.973La0.0135Sm0.0135(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 및 Pb0.972La0.0140Sm0.0140(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 의 경우가 투과도가 가장 우수한 것으로 분석된다. 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 2.6 mol%, 2.5 mol% 및 3.1 mol% 에서는 투과도의 저하가 전체 파장에 걸쳐서 두드러지게 나타났다.
도 5를 참조하면, 소결 온도가 1160℃인 경우에는, 400 nm 이상의 파장에서 투과도가 증가되었으며, 약 600 nm 파장 이상에서 45% 내지 65%의 최대 투과도를 나타내었다. 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 2.9 mol%에서 전체 파장에 걸쳐서 투과도가 최대로 나타났다. 즉, 상기 투명성 압전체가 Pb0.971La0.0145Sm0.0145(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 의 경우가 투과도가 가장 우수한 것으로 분석된다. 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 2.5 mol% 에서는 투과도의 저하가 전체 파장에 걸쳐서 두드러지게 나타났고, 3.5 mol% 및 4.0 mol% 에서는 파장 증가에 따라 투과도가 증가한 후에 약 500 nm 파장 이상에서는 감소되는 다소 다른 경향을 나타내었다.
도 6 내지 도 8은 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체의 도판트의 총 도핑 농도에 따른 투과도를 파장에 대하여 나타내는 그래프이다.
도 6은 소결 온도가 1200℃인 경우이고, 도 7은 소결 온도가 1180℃인 경우이고, 도 8은 소결 온도가 1160℃인 경우이다.
도 6을 참조하면, 소결 온도가 1200℃인 경우에는, 750 nm 파장의 투과도가 총 도핑 농도에 전체적으로 가장 높은 투과도를 나타내었다. 또한, 총 도핑 농도가 3.0 mol%에서 전체 파장에 걸쳐서 투과도가 최대로 나타났다.
도 7을 참조하면, 소결 온도가 1180℃인 경우에는, 750 nm 파장의 투과도가 총 도핑 농도에 전체적으로 가장 높은 투과도를 나타내었다. 또한, 총 도핑 농도가 2.7 mol%에서 전체 파장에 걸쳐서 투과도가 최대로 나타났다.
도 8을 참조하면, 소결 온도가 1160℃인 경우에는, 750 nm 파장의 투과도가 3.1 mol% 이하의 총 도핑 농도에서 가장 높은 투과도를 나타내었고, 3.5 mol% 및 4.0 mol%의 총 도핑 농도에서는 550 nm 파장의 투과도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한, 총 도핑 농도가 2.9 mol%에서 전체 파장에 걸쳐서 대체적으로 투과도가 최대로 나타났다.
도 2 내지 도 8의 결과를 정리하면, La 와 Sm 의 도핑 농도가 증가하면, 투과도와 압전 상수가 증가하며, 일정한 도핑 농도 이상에서는 투과도와 압전 상수가 감소되었다. 따라서, 본 발명의 투명성 압전체에서는 투과도와 압전 상수가 상충적인 경향을 나타내지 않고 동시에 증가되므로, 투과 특성과 압전 특성을 동시에 확보할 수 있다.
상기 투명성 압전체의 압전 상수의 변화를 분석하면, La 와 Sm 의 도핑 농도가 각각 0.0155 (1.55 mol%) 일때 압전 상수가 최대이고, La 와 Sm 의 도핑 농도가 각각 0.0175 (1.75 mol%) 이후에는 압전 상수가 급격하게 감소한다.
상기 투명성 압전체의 투과도의 변화를 분석하면, La 와 Sm 의 도핑 농도가 각각 0.0145 (1.45 mol%) 일때 투과도가 최대이고, La 와 Sm 의 도핑 농도가 각각 0.0175 (1.75 mol%) 이후에는 투과도 특성이 불안정하게 된다.
따라서, 압전 상수 및 투과도를 동시에 고려하면, 투명성 압전체의 최적 조건은, x=0.29, y,z=0.0145 의 화합물, 즉 Pb0.971La0.0145Sm0.0145(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3 을 1160℃에서 30 시간 동안 소결한 경우이다.
도 9는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체의 소결 시간에 따른 투과도 변화를 나타내는 그래프이다.
도 9를 참조하면, 도판트의 총 도핑 농도가 2.5 mol%이고(즉, Pb0.975La0.0125Sm0.0125(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3), 소결 온도는 1200℃에서의, 2 시간, 10 시간, 30 시간의 소결 시간에 대한 투명성 압전체의 투과도가 나타나있다. 소결 시간이 증가됨에 따라 투명성 압전체의 투과도가 모든 파장에 대하여 증가되었으며, 30 시간의 소결 시간에서 가장 높은 투과도를 나타냄을 알 수 있다.
도 10은 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체의 소결 공정에서의 산소 유동에 따른 투과도 변화를 나타내는 그래프이다.
도 10을 참조하면, 투명성 압전체의 소결 공정은 산소 분위기에 수행하여야 하며, 산소 유동에 따라 상기 투명성 압전체의 투과도가 영향을 받음을 알 수 있다. 0.35 SLM의 저 산소유동에 비하여 0.85 SLM의 고 산소 유동에서 상기 투명성 압전체의 투과도가 저하됨을 알 수 있다. 상기 산소의 유동은 MFC (Mass Flow Controller)을 사용하여 정밀하게 제어하였다.
응용예
본 발명의 기술적 사상에 따른 투명성 압전체는 압력 신호와 전기 신호의 변화를 이용하는 장치들에 응용될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 상기 투명성 압전체는, 압전 스피커, 각종 액츄에이터, 햅틱 장치, 터치형 디스플레이 장치 및 진동-전기 변환 장치 등에 응용될 수 있다. 이하에서는 상기 투명성 압전체의 응용예를 예시적으로 설명하기로 한다.
도 11은 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체를 구비하는 터치형 디스플레이 장치(100)를 도시하는 개략도이다.
도 11을 참조하면, 터치형 디스플레이 장치(100)는, 영상신호를 제공하는 디스플레이부(110); 및 디스플레이부(110) 상에 배치되고, Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 포함하는 투명성 압전체를 구비하는 투명성 압전부(120)를 포함한다. 여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이다.
디스플레이부(110)는 디스플레이 구동칩(DDI)과 연결될 수 있고, 상기 디스플레이 구동칩에서 제공되는 신호에 따라 영상신호를 구현하는 TFT 구조 및 유기 박막 구조체를 포함할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 디스플레이부(110)는, 바닥으로부터, 스틸 등으로 구성되는 지지체, 제1 감압 접착층(PSA), TFT 막층, 유기층, 엔캡슐레이션층, 분극층, 제2 감압 접착층, 터치 필름 센서층, 제3 감압 접착층을 포함하여 구성될 수 있다. 상기 제3 감압 접착층 상에 투명성 압전부(120)가 배치될 수 있고, 투명성 압전부(120) 상에 커버층이 배치될 수 있다.
투명성 압전부(120)는 디스플레이부(110) 상에 배치되고, 음향 신호 또는 햅틱 신호와 같은 압력 신호를 전기 신호로 변환할 수 있고, 상기 전기 신호를 압전 신호 처리부에 전달할 수 있다. 상기 압력 신호는 터치형 디스플레이 장치(100)의 표면을 사용자의 손가락 등이 접촉하여 가압함으로써 형성될 수 있다.
도 12는 본 발명의 일실시예에 따른 투명성 압전체를 구비하는 진동-전기 변환 장치(200a, 200b, 200c, 200d)를 도시하는 개략도이다.
도 12를 참조하면, 진동-전기 변환 장치(200a, 200b, 200c, 200d)는 진동 에너지를 제공하는 진동부(210); 및 진동부(210) 상에 배치되고, Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 포함하는 투명성 압전체를 구비하는 투명성 압전부(220a, 220b, 220c, 220d)를 포함한다. 여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이다.
진동부(210)는 진동 에너지를 제공하는 다양한 물질이나 구조체를 포함할 수 있고, 예를 들어 디스플레이 패널, 건물 유리창, 유리 출입문, 자동차 유리창 등을 포함할 수 있다. 그러나, 이는 예시적이며 본 발명의 기술적 사상은 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다.
투명성 압전부(220a, 220b, 220c, 220d)는 진동부(210) 상에 배치된다. 투명성 압전부(220a, 220b, 220c, 220d)는 진동부(210)에 직접적으로 접촉하거나, 에폭시 등과 같은 접착제로 접착되거나, 또는 그 사이에 다른 구조체를 더 포함할 수 있다.
투명성 압전부(220a, 220b, 220c, 220d)는 다양한 형상 및 배치 구조를 가질 수 있다. 예를 들어, 도 12의 (a)의 투명성 압전부(220a)는 진동부(210)의 상면에 전체적으로 덮도록 배치될 수 있다. 도 12의 (b)의 투명성 압전부(220b)는 세로 방향으로 연장되는 형상으로서 진동부(210)의 상면 일부에 배치된다. 도 12의 (c)의 투명성 압전부(220c)는 가로 방향으로 연장되는 형상으로서 진동부(210)의 상면 일부에 배치된다. 도 12의 (d)의 투명성 압전부(220d)는 최외각 모퉁이에 배치되는 형상으로서 진동부(210)의 상면 일부에 배치된다.
이상에서 설명한 본 발명의 기술적 사상이 전술한 실시예 및 첨부된 도면에 한정되지 않으며, 본 발명의 기술적 사상을 벗어나지 않는 범위 내에서 여러 가지 치환, 변형 및 변경이 가능하다는 것은, 본 발명의 기술적 사상이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 있어 명백할 것이다.
본 발명을 이용하면 우수한 투과 특성과 압전 특성을 가지는 투명성 압전체를 제조할 수 있다.

Claims (15)

  1. Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 포함하는, 투명성 압전체.
    (여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수임)
  2. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 등방성 증가 도판트(A)는 란탄(La), 유로퓸(Eu), 에르븀(Er), 또는 이들의 혼합물을 포함하는, 투명성 압전체.
  3. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 이방성 증가 도판트(D)는 사마륨(Sm), 디스프로슘(Dy), 바륨(Ba), 이트륨(Y), 가돌리늄(Gd), 네오디뮴(Nd), 또는 이들의 혼합물을 포함하는, 투명성 압전체.
  4. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 투명성 압전체에서의 상기 등방성 증가 도판트(A)와 상기 이방성 증가 도판트(D)의 비율은 1:10 내지 10:1 범위를 가지는, 투명성 압전체.
  5. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 투명성 압전체는, Pb0.975La0.0125Sm0.0125(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.974La0.0130Sm0.0130(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.973La0.0135Sm0.0135(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.972La0.0140Sm0.0140(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.971La0.0145Sm0.0145(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.970La0.0150Sm0.0150(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.969La0.0155Sm0.0155(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, Pb0.965La0.0175Sm0.0175(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, 및 Pb0.960La0.0200Sm0.0200(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.71Ti0.29O3, 중 적어도 어느 하나를 포함하는, 투명성 압전체.
  6. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 투명성 압전체는, 400 pC/N 내지 1100 pC/N 범위의 압전 상수를 가지는, 투명성 압전체.
  7. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 투명성 압전체는, 20% 내지 70% 범위의 투과도를 가지는, 투명성 압전체.
  8. Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-x(Zr1-qTiq)xO3 를 포함하는, 투명성 압전체.
    (여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 q는 0.1 이상 내지 1 미만의 수임)
  9. PbO, MgNb2O6, TiO2, 등방성 증가 도판트, 및 이방성 증가 도판트를 혼합하여 혼합물을 형성하는 단계;
    상기 혼합물을 열처리하여, Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 형성하는 단계; 및
    상기 Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 성형 및 소결하는 단계;를 포함하는, 투명성 압전체의 제조방법.
    (여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수임).
  10. 청구항 9에 있어서,
    상기 열처리하는 단계는 750℃ 내지 900℃ 범위의 온도에서 1 시간 내지 6 시간 범위의 시간 동안 수행되는, 투명성 압전체의 제조방법.
  11. 청구항 9에 있어서,
    상기 소결하는 단계는 950℃ 내지 1200℃ 범위의 온도에서 1 시간 내지 30 시간 범위의 시간 동안 수행되는, 투명성 압전체의 제조방법.
  12. 청구항 9에 있어서,
    상기 소결은 산소 분위기에서 수행되는, 투명성 압전체의 제조방법.
  13. 청구항 9에 있어서,
    상기 MgNb2O6 는,
    MgO와 Nb2O5 를 평량하고 혼합하는 단계;
    상기 MgO와 상기 Nb2O5 의 혼합물을 볼밀하는 단계;
    상기 MgO와 상기 Nb2O5 의 상기 혼합물을 건조하는 단계;
    상기 MgO와 상기 Nb2O5 의 상기 혼합물을 분쇄하는 단계; 및
    상기 MgO와 상기 Nb2O5 의 상기 혼합물을 하소하는 단계;를 수행하여 형성되는,
    투명성 압전체의 제조방법.
  14. 영상신호를 제공하는 디스플레이부; 및
    상기 디스플레이부 상에 배치되고, Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 포함하는 투명성 압전체를 구비하는 투명성 압전부를 포함하는, 터치형 디스플레이 장치.
    (여기에서, 상기 A는 등방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 D는 이방성 증가 도판트이고, 상기 x는 0.20 이상 내지 0.50 이하의 수이고, 상기 y는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수이고, 상기 z는 0.0125 이상 내지 0.02 이하의 수임).
  15. 진동 에너지를 제공하는 진동부; 및
    상기 진동부 상에 배치되고, Pb1-y-zAyDz(Mg1/3Nb2/3)1-xTixO3 를 포함하는 투명성 압전체를 구비하는 투명성 압전부를 포함하는, 진동-전기 변환 장치.
