- the device further comprises a mechanical ventilation circuit in connection with the coupling for the mechanical ventilation circuit 2 through a corrugated tube.
- the gripping elements 3 are hook-shaped, extend outwards and are arranged in the corners of the second side face of the hollow central body 16.
- the device also comprises a mask in connection with the artificial airway coupling 5 and attached to the gripping elements 3 and to a harness, to provide support in non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
- the device may comprise an endotracheal tube or a tracheostomy cannula in connection with the artificial airway coupling 5.
- the device according to the present invention is connected to a mechanical ventilation circuit through the coupling for a mechanical ventilation circuit 2 by means of a corrugated tube or directly.
- the device is connected to the mask through the artificial airway coupling 5 and attached to the gripping elements 3 through a harness, to achieve a better attachment to the patient's head.
- the device of the present invention can be used from the beginning of the invasive mechanical ventilation support, connecting it to the endotracheal tube through the coupling for artificial airway 5, facilitating bronchial hygiene without the need for disconnection of the mechanical ventilator that is in connection with the coupling for a mechanical ventilation circuit 2.
- the upper universal port 8 can be used as a saline solution installation port, which together with the secretion suction port 4 (through which direct secretion suction can be made), allow the internal washing of the device to be carried out in case the patient coughs, mobilizing secretions that remain in the reservoir.

- a heat and humidity exchange filter camel nose
- Example 3 Invasive mechanical ventilation via tracheostomy cannula (CTQT)
- the device can be easily adapted and continue to fulfill the aforementioned functions, being configured as described in Example 2. in this embodiment, a tracheostomy tube is connected to the artificial airway 5 of the device.
- CTQT artificial airway type tracheostomy cannula
- Both the phonator valve 13 and the heat and humidity exchange filter are connected at one end to the coupling 1 and at the other end to a corrugated tube that is finally connected to the mechanical ventilation circuit.
- the phonator valve 13 can be connected at one end to the coupling 1 of the device, at the other end to a corrugated tube, which is connected to one end of the heat and moisture exchange filter while the filter is connected at its other end to the mechanical ventilation circuit.
- the phonator valve can be manually adjusted to the device (as illustrated In figure 4 where the therapist’s hand 15 can be seen), allows the connection to the mechanical ventilator and facilitates the patient’s communication with the environment, their rehabilitation, and respiratory muscle training.
- Said valve is designed in such away that it adapts to the distal end of the device and comprises holes that allow the flow of the mechanical ventilator to the patient during inspiration and an internal membrane that seals the air outlet during expiration directing it to the upper airway, allowing the passage of air through the vocal cords generating vibration thereof and the subsequent phonation of the patients despite being connected to the ventilatory support.
