  • Said valve is designed in such away that it adapts to the distal end of the device and comprises holes that allow the flow of the mechanical ventilator to the patient during inspiration and an internal membrane that seals the air outlet during expiration directing it to the upper airway, allowing the passage of air through the vocal cords generating vibration thereof and the subsequent phonation of the patients despite being connected to the ventilatory support.

Abstract

La présente demande concerne un dispositif de thérapie respiratoire polyvalent qui peut être utilisé dans toutes les situations pendant l'hospitalisation d'un patient souffrant d'un trouble cardio-respiratoire, de sorte qu'il n'est pas nécessaire d'utiliser différents dispositifs d'intervention lors d'une transition entre différents types de ventilation artificielle. Le dispositif comprend un corps central creux (16) ; un couplage pour un circuit de ventilation artificielle (2) ; un couplage pour un filtre d'échange de chaleur et d'humidité ou une vanne de parole (1) disposée dans le couplage pour le circuit de ventilation artificielle ; un couplage de voies respiratoires artificielles (5) ; un orifice latéral universel (6) pourvu d'un capuchon amovible (7) ; un orifice d'aspiration (11) muni d'un capuchon amovible (17) ; un orifice universel supérieur (8) doté d'un capuchon amovible (9) ; un orifice de thérapie par inhalation (14) ; un orifice d'aspiration de sécrétion (4) ; et des éléments de préhension (3).
