Abstract
The invention relates to a closure attachment for a closure (3) for closing an opening of a container (1) for the storage and, optionally, incubation of a sample and for the removal of the sample or of a sample constituent. The closure (3) has a septum (4) which closes the opening. The closure attachment can be placed onto a neck-type extension (2) surrounding the opening of the container (1). The closure attachment is characterized by: - a sleeve-shaped adapter (6), which can be placed onto the closure (3) and which has a central cannula (10), one end of the cannula being designed to pierce the septum (4) and the other end of the cannula having a connecting piece (12); - a tubular reservoir (7) having connecting pieces (13, 14) at both ends; - a syringe filter (8) having connecting pieces (15, 16) at both ends; and - an injection port (9) having a connecting piece (17) at one end and having a septum (18) at the other end; wherein the adapter (6), the reservoir (7), the syringe filter (8) and the injection port (9) are tightly connected to one another in succession by means of the connecting pieces (12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17).

Ein solcher Verschlussaufsatz ist aus EP 2 160 337 Bl bekannt. Diese Druck schrift betrifft einen Verschluss zum Verschließen einer Öffnung eines Behälters zur Aufbewahrung und Entnahme von sterilen oder feuchtigkeitsempfindlichen Medien mit einer Verschlusskappe, die flüssigkeitsdicht mit dem Behälter ver bindbar ist und mit einem durchstechbaren, selbstverschließenden Septum, wel ches eine außermittig angeordnete Entnahmeöffnung in der Verschlusskappe flüssigkeitsdicht verschließt, wobei der Verschluss eine drehbar gelagerte Schutz kappe mit einer Aussparung zum Freigeben der Entnahmeöffnung aufweist, wo bei die Aussparung in der Schutzkappe an die Abmessungen der Entnahmeöff nung angepasst ist. Der Verschlussaufsatz ist dabei als drehbar gelagerte Ver schlusskappe ausgebildet. Diese Verschlusskappe weist mehrere außermittig an geordnete Entnahmeöffnungen auf, die jeweils durch ein Septum verschlossen sind und über denen die an deren Abmessungen angepasste Aussparung durch Drehen der Schutzkappe positionierbar ist, um sie freizugeben. Durch diese Ver-
schlussgestaltung soll das in dem Behälter befindliche Medium möglichst zuver lässig gegenüber Umwelteinflüssen geschützt und gleichzeitig eine schnelle und einfache, mehrmalige Entnahme des Mediums ermöglicht werden, ohne dass die Funktionsfähigkeit des Septums beeinträchtigt wird. Um ein in dem Behälter be findliches Medium entnehmen zu können, wird das Septum nämlich mit einer Ka nüle durchstochen und die benötigte Menge des Mediums entnommen. Das Sep tum besteht zweckmäßigerweise aus einem Material, das - ebenso wie das Behäl termaterial - inert gegenüber dem in dem Behälter aufzubewahrenden Medium ist und gleichzeitig leicht durchstochen werden kann, um sich nach der Entnahme des Mediums wieder selbsttätig flüssigkeitsdicht zu verschließen. Der erfindungsgemäße Verschlussaufsatz besteht im Wesentlichen aus vier ein zelnen, kommerziell erhältlichen Elementen. Im Falle einer Druckdiffe renz zwischen dem Behälter und der Atmosphäre sowie bei etwa vorhandenen Flüssigkeitstropfen unterhalb des Septums kann beim Durchdringen des Behäl terseptums Flüssigkeit in den Verschlussaufsatz dringen. Um zu verhindern, dass die Flüssigkeit den Spritzenfilter, der ein konventioneller Spritzenfilter sein kann und als Sterilfilter des Verschlussaufsatzes dient, benetzt, ist ein Reservoir zwi schen dem Adapter und dem Spritzenfilter angeordnet. Um z.B. den Headspace mittels einer Autosamplerspritze zu beproben, ist ein Injektionsport mit Septum vorgesehen, das durch die Kanüle einer Autosamplerspritze oder dgl. problemlos penetriert werden kann, um z.B. eine gasförmige Probe aus dem Behälter zu ent nehmen und anschließend in den Injektor eines Messsystems zu transportieren. Durch diesen Aufbau wird ein steriler Verschlussaufsatz zur Verfügung gestellt, der verhindert, dass die Probenspritze bzw. -kanüle durch Mikroorganismen, Vi ren sowie Pilze oder dgl. kontaminiert wird. Somit wird eine Verschleppung dieser Keime in ein Messsystem sowie andere Behälter, z.B. Blutkulturflaschen oder In jektoren von Messsystemen, effektiv unterbunden. Besonders vorteilhaft ist vorgesehen, dass die Verbindungsstücke als Steck- und/ oder Drehverbinder ausgebildet sind. Dadurch wird die Montage bzw. Demontage des Verschlussaufsatzes vereinfacht.
Vorteilhaft sind dabei die Verbindungsstücke als Luer-Lock-Verbinder ausgebildet, welche eine einfach handhabbare, dichte Verbindung gewährleisten. Dadurch wird ein Probenaustritt sowie ein Kontakt des Behälterinneren mit der Umgebung bei der Montage des Aufsatzes verhindert, so dass auch bei der Montage Sterilität gewährleistet ist. Erst durch Aufstecken bzw. Aufschrauben der darüberliegenden Elemente wird das Ventil geöffnet. Aus praktischer Sicht können somit der Adapter und das Reservoir nacheinander angebracht werden, ohne dass die flüssige oder feste Probe oder ein Probenbestandteil aus dem Behälter austreten kann. Im Anschluss können dann der Spritzenfilter und der Injektionsport vormontiert oder nacheinander mit dem Reservoir verbunden werden. Um aus dem Behälter 1 durch das Septum 4 des Verschlusses 3 Probe oder einen Probenbestandteil, z.B. den Headspace über der Probe keimfrei entnehmen zu können, ist ein erfindungsgemäßer Verschlussaufsatz 5 vorgesehen. Dieser Ver schlussaufsatz 5 besteht im Wesentlichen aus vier einzelnen, miteinander zu ver bindenden Elementen, nämlich aus einem auf den Verschluss 3 bzw. den Ansatz 2 des Behälters 1 aufsteckbaren hülsenförmigen Adapter 6, einem rohrförmigen Reservoir 7, einem Spritzenfilter 8 und einem Injektionsport 9. Diese Elemente bestehen bevorzugt aus einem geeigneten Kunststoff. Durch diesen Aufbau wird ein steriler Verschlussaufsatz 5 zur Verfügung gestellt, der verhin dert, dass die Probenspritze bzw. -kanüle (z.B. Autosamplerspritze) durch Mikro organismen oder dgl. kontaminiert wird. Somit wird eine Verschleppung dieser Keime in ein Messsystem sowie andere Behälter 1, z.B. andere Blutkulturflaschen, effektiv unterbunden. Claims
1. Verschlussaufsatz für einen Verschluss (3) zum Verschließen einer Öffnung ei nes Behälters (1) zur Aufbewahrung und ggf. Inkubation einer Probe und Ent nahme der Probe oder eines Probenbestandteils, wobei der Verschluss (3) ein die Öffnung verschließendes Septum (4) aufweist und der Verschlussaufsatz auf ei nen die Öffnung des Behälters (1) umgebenden halsartigen Ansatz (2) aufsteck bar ist, gekennzeichnet durch einen auf den Verschluss (3) aufsteckbaren hülsenförmigen Adapter (6), der eine zentrale Kanüle (10) aufweist, deren eines Ende zum Durchstechen des Septums (4) ausgebildet ist und deren anderes Ende ein Verbindungsstück (12) aufweist, ein rohrförmiges Reservoir (7) mit Verbindungsstücken (13,14) an beiden Enden, einen Spritzenfilter (8) mit Verbindungsstücken (15,16) an beiden Enden und ei nen Injektionsport (9) mit einem Verbindungsstück (17) an einem Ende und ei nem Septum (18) am anderen Ende, wobei der Adapter (6), das Reservoir (7), der Spritzenfilter (8) und der Injektionsport (9) nacheinander über die Verbin dungsstücke (12,13,14,15,16,17) dicht miteinander verbunden sind. 1.
