Toutefois cela s’obtient au détriment de la charge utile embarquable par le navire entre autres inconvénients. En outre, cela peut tout de même nécessiter que la quille lestée ne soit pas totalement remontée, au détriment de la réduction du tirant d’eau. Dans son principe, la présente invention concerne le domaine de la navigation et l’exploration sous-marine par un navire monocoque de surface motorisé parce vague comportant une quille lestée amovible/rétractable et un kiosque, la quille pouvant être montée et descendue. Un tel navire a été décrit dans la demande de brevet FR17 61547 à laquelle on peut se référer si on le souhaite.
