The point on the left side of the hole is 50 yards away from point T. When a=18 yards, the code point D2 to the hole cups A1, A2, A3, and A4 are all 69 yards according to the codebook method. The measured distance to A1 is 65 yards, while the distance to A4 is 73 yards.

Players also realize the above problems in use. Players and their caddies have tried all kinds of methods to expect better results, so they spend a lot of time on distance judgment. In fact, it is theoretically impossible to accurately calculate the distance from the fairway yardage point to the hole using the yardage book method.
