Abstract

The utility model relates to devices for gripping, transferring and packing trays of eggs using gripping devices. The technical result of the claimed egg tray gripper is that of reliably gripping a package of eggs and accurately positioning same in a box. A universal egg package gripper comprises a base to which two gripping walls are attached on two opposing sides by rotational mechanisms, an array of suction cups with a mechanism for raising and lowering same, and also two mechanisms for synchronizing the gripping walls, said mechanisms being comprised of two toothed racks of circular cross-section and a synchronizing gear, which are mounted inside a housing of the gripper. A rotational mechanism is configured in the form of three electrical actuators, two of which are synchronized with one another, the third electrical actuator being connected to each of the walls of the gripper. Each electrical actuator is connected to a corresponding synchronizing reduction gear.
